We stop here every week on the way to my son’s lessons in Noord. These are his favorite fries in the city.

One of the best fries in Amsterdam is located just one free ferry ride away from Amsterdam Central Station.

Twice got almost cold old fries. The second time I complained and the guy was extremely rude. I used to go here frequently but never again.

The food is good, but because of the crowds the serving is a bit chaotic.

Used to be affordable and fast, now expensive and slow. Unfortunately, they charge the prices of a TikTok stand. These were my last fries here.

Needed a snack and so we stopped by here! It was pretty cute! After ordering the food took a while I think. When a place is specifically advertising fries you’d think they’d have fries ready to go with in like five minutes. Eh it wasn’t a horrible wait. The fires were really good with the truffle mayo! I’d stop by again if I was in the area.

An employee was standing outside the store, making a phone call and playing with his penis, then walked back in and started helping people without washing his hands. The fries were otherwise delicious, probably due to the extra flavors.

Recommended by a local, we weren't disappointed! The best we tried during our stay in the Netherlands. Don't hesitate to try the oorlog sauce, it's excellent. It's made with white onions, so it's not strong at all. You'll find them right outside the ferry, and we didn't have any wait, unlike what you might see in the center of Amsterdam, where some lines seem endless.

When in Amsterdam, fries with Joppie Sausage are a must. Since Pont Neuf was on the way to my accommodation, I grabbed some here and was not disappointed. The portions are huge, the fries crispy and crunchy, and simply delicious. A definite recommendation!

On a quest to try the best frites in Amsterdam, I recently stopped by Pont Neuf. Because it's a small operation, it took a bit longer to get my frites than a lot of other places I've been to. But they also have more snackbar options than other frites stands tend to. A good selection of sauces, although not as many as you'd find at a Belgian place. On the whole, these are good frites and better than your neighborhood snackbar. But they aren't the best in town. For that, you should go to Fabel or Vlaams.

Friendly people. Food is good. New staff every now and then. But what I find scandalous is that you suddenly go up 40% with a product. Normally I get something for the kids once a week, sometimes every other week. But that is really getting worse now, I understand that something can go up but not 40%. Then they say, everything is getting more expensive in the city. So we are making it more expensive too. That makes no sense at all.

Very very unfriendly waitress. If you order more than one meal, it annoys him, raised eyebrows, remarks, very unfriendly and mocking tone... Plus very salty fries and spicy chicken++ even though it wasn't specified.

Just went by, they make their fries fresh from potatoes with their own hands. And their sauce is next level delicious, highly recommended, I'm sure I'll come here more often.

The fries and chicken strips were very tasty, but the tables outside were very dirty and the "salesman" wasn't very friendly.

I am a regular customer at Pont Neuf. I visited today and was helped by two girls, very friendly and hard workers! fries never disappoint, well done, I really enjoyed them as always😄

Maybe we were at the wrong place (we weren't) but I can't agree and say they were the best fries. Average at most. The girl was friendly and service was good, however, The male (supervisor?) Started farting, burping and smoking just by the doorway. Maybe this is charming for some people but off putting for us. 😄 I don't know why we stayed. That should have been our cue to leave. Plus, no where to sit, except a dirty bench next to the hut. The ducks enjoyed the burnt crispy bits. I'm glad the ferry over was free. Sorry. Can't recommend, except they were cheaper than others over the water. Update; pont neuf - thankyou for your response. I'm sorry we visited on a less than good day. There was definately a man there on the day we visited, going in and out of the hut, but he didn't serve us. I don't know his position. So, I can only comment on our experience of that day. I agree personal taste is variable. Thank you.

Tastiest fries in Amsterdam! It can be a bit chilly outside in winter, and it's a shame that you can no longer sit inside like you used to, but the service is always super friendly and makes up for it completely.

Tasty fries but took a very long time...

Usually very tasty, but yesterday I got fries that were put in the fryer for the second time. Very dark and way too much salt.

Potatoes are good, sauces are very bad. Better take fries without sauces. Service is slow, prices high Update: Very bad service, long waiting time while there's just me, she's talking on the phone and removing fries while there's plenty of fries. Very not welcoming interaction.

Maybe too cold in winter, but when the sun is shining you can eat the tastiest fries available. Nice outside, but sometimes you have to wait a bit, although they can handle that list well too 😊

Here you can see how the fries are made, namely from fresh potatoes. A large portion with mayo is enough for a mother with a small child :) Delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Bon appetit.

Crispy and double fried, the fries here are fresh and come with many different sauces(cheddar cheese and truffle mayo are recommended). A must try and it's super close to Centraal too

Feliz señora me sirvió (buena tinta) 😉😉 Las papas con mayonesa me transportaron a mis 20 años cuando vivía en Alemania. Perfecto. Fries were really delicious, it's been a while since I've eaten such good fries. Service was great again, I got my fries in my hands after 2 minutes. Two lovely people behind the cash register, whose collaboration is great. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

Unfriendly waitress. Mistakes the order of the person in front of me. Also made a mistake on my order which I have to repeat to him. Normally we hear less well with airpods screwed into our ears! Not a smile. Damage.

Apart from fries, Chicken strips are a must try.

tastiest fries in the Netherlands!

Ordered a vegetarian croquette yesterday, then walked to the kiss and ride where I was picked up. Unfortunately, the croquette turned out to be completely frozen on the inside! Only the outside was warm and crispy. So I could throw the croquette away, a waste of 3.30 euros!

If you love fries, this is one place you can get some of the freshest ones! And you can top them off with plenty of sauces. They have huge portion sizes so it’s really budget friendly! There’s no seating outside but you can enjoy the view of the canals from here.

Very good fries and fried chicken, the chicken was quite spicy but delicious.

We had mozzarella sticks with mayo and sausage. We enjoyed ourselves very much. I definitely recommend it. The only thing that really bothered us were the homeless people who wandered around and begged while we were eating "on a stand" at a table right next to the establishment.

The stupid workers packaged the food in such a way that sauce was spilled ALL OVER the fries and the inside of the bag. It was a complete mess. It was pretty much a complete waste of €8, as the two orders were both covered in sauce.

Dit is friet zoals het hoort, goudgeel, krokant, genoeg zout. Keuze uit genoeg heerlijke sauzen, en de échte Zaanse mayonaise!!! Kortom erg lekker! Keerzijde, 4,80 voor een medium met oorlog is best prijzig. Maar genieten deed ik ervan.

Besides the super long line and crazy wait times for only 2 large chips, it’s overall a decent place for a to-go snack. Not too expensive and definitely filling. I ordered a large special curry, and my fiancée ordered the large peanut satay. We weren’t super full from this so we went back and bought the rundvlees (beef) croquettes and they were the highlight from there. €2.50 for 1 large croquette with mustard, they are a must!

the fries were delicious, the staff were friendly, helpful and polite with the customers and between each other too, especially Eli and the little accountant Ella 🥲😂, they served me with a smile and even gave me Free coffee ❤️ . I highly recommend this place, and definitely will visit them again

The place is not the best one to sit, but for me is the best fries in the city, I always take medium fries yes because it's enough, real big, with samurai (spicy a little) mayo. Truly recommend coming here, and not the famous place in damsquare. You just leave the ferry F2 or F3 and you have this fries.

I got the fries with all of the extra toppings. Belgium and Amsterdam have the World’s best French fries. I am not sure if these were cut fresh, most of the time they are. They are located near the A’dam Tower, there is a free ferry across the river from Amsterdam Central Station. This is an awesome section of Amsterdam for tourists.

Pommesbude. Die Pommes waren lecker 😋 nur die Portion (large) war relativ klein. Man befindet sich auf der gegenüber liegenden Seite des Binnenhafens direkt hinter dem Bahnhof Centraal. Die Fähre fährt ständig hin und her und kann kostenlos genutzt werden.

Got medium fries with mayo. Mayo was delicious, but the fries were quite greasy. Some fries tasted fishy, so I wonder if they use the same oil with their shrimp krokets. Some fries were super hard and crunchy. Beef kroket was a 4/5
