Pleasant restaurant with normal (smaller) portions that are easily enough for a three-course meal. Very well priced (good value for the portion size) and a wide selection of nice/tasty dishes. Also a wide range of cocktails on the menu. Not rushed, but we really enjoyed ourselves!

I had been many years ago and wanted to give it a second chance. We wanted a specific table and were snapped at that it wasn't set. Then we were ignored. When we ordered, it took a very long time. And the food looked like it had been squeezed out of a plastic bag and warmed up in the microwave. Certainly not what I call Fine Food. Not recommended

A really just ok place. The staff was nice and fast. The food was ok. Don't expect much, its good for the money you pay. Nothing really special.

I'm not really one for posting things, but this is abnormally bad! The baguette beforehand was forgotten, and when the starter was served, a staff member came to announce that the corn and red onion hadn't been delivered, so they could serve a Poke bowl, but without those ingredients. In the end, I chose a different dish. I had a meat platter myself; the only thing I could still eat was the satay stick, which came straight from the freezer, and the burger was decent. After trying the schnitzel, which was overcooked, I was completely done with it! The spare ribs were dry. I returned everything else. According to my son, the burger was okay, and the pork tenderloin was fair to good. The pulled chicken chosen as an alternative was also dry and there wasn't much pulled chicken; this was also placed on the table much later, so 3 people were trying to get through their food and 1 could start later. Very cozy, right, when you go out to eat with 4 people? NOT! Recommended? Never go there; we are never coming here again!

We ate here on a Monday with a group for a birthday celebration. It wasn't busy otherwise, but if I had been just with my wife, I would have left by the starter. Surf and turf: 3 shriveled shrimps, 3 slices of ham, and now comes the kicker: pineapple in the middle that was, mind you, still rock-hard frozen!!! I almost broke my teeth on it, so I pushed it aside, and the shrimps were mega salty too... I didn't say anything out of politeness towards our birthday boy (nothing is asked by the wait staff either), but this is really unacceptable... For the main course, the pulled chicken quesadilla, which, let's just say, had nothing to do with Mexico. The small pot of crème fraîche that came with it was the highlight of the dish, which was also served on a small board with paper underneath, so those 6 bites that made up the dish were invariably accompanied by the paper, which you then cheerfully cut along with. For dessert, we chose cheese and I must say that didn't disappoint. Just good when you compare it to the rest. Once again, we stayed seated out of respect for our hostess, but I will think twice before coming back here again.

We ate here yesterday. A meat platter was ordered for our table twice, and it was truly inedible. The schnitzel and spareribs were burnt, and the chicken satay was so dry you couldn't swallow it. We pointed this out to the staff. One person helped us well; we received an apology and were offered a different dish. But then another woman came to the table to tell us that we had to pay the extra charge for the meat platter, because according to her, there was nothing wrong with the food. After this, it became clear that the table behind us had also ordered the meat platter and found the quality to be very poor as well (they also pointed this out to the staff). Nothing was done about this either. In the end, when paying, we actually received the extra charge on the bill; no apology, nothing. Very poor service. They take no responsibility. In any case, we will never come back here again.

Nice restaurant where you can eat well. It is located next to the city theater, so it is a great place to grab a bite before going to a show.

We have eaten here a few times before in recent years, but our most recent visit was not good. We were only a small group of 5 people, but all in all, we sat inside for 2.5 hours to enjoy the 3-course dinner. Everything took a very long time, even though the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Eventually, we just asked if the main course was moving along, which was served immediately afterwards. It had probably been sitting there for a while, as most of it was lukewarm. The way it was served was simply embarrassing: the waiter practically threw the plates and bowls on the table, and walking around to place a plate in front of a person was out of the question. You simply had to take the plate. Fortunately, there was one young lady serving who was actually somewhat friendly. However, it couldn't turn the overall experience into a positive one.

It is a cozy restaurant, but it is a pity that the dishes are served one after the other. As indicated, we had set aside 2.5 hours for dinner prior to the theater visit, however, we were finished in just over an hour. The quality is top-notch and the staff is friendly.

Perhaps nice for a small group (I find it hard to imagine), but completely unsuitable for larger groups. Both the kitchen and the disinterested and unqualified service (read: management, if there was one) were completely incompetent. The food was noticeably prepared well in advance (dry, tough, overcooked, tasteless, and some dishes were clearly "ready-made"), and don't expect to be served at your beck and call with a package deal that includes drinks. One waitress for 25 people, even though the restaurant was still empty and three staff members were working the bar. A real waste of money, especially for the person who wanted to put their staff in the spotlight for an evening!!! This person deserved much more, but it's clear that at Brechtje, the cash register is king, not the customer. It's a shame, because the restaurant itself is quite cozy.

Cozy, good acoustics (we can still have a conversation). The staff regularly asks if you'd like another drink. (We appreciate that, as many restaurants leave us incomprehensibly dehydrated.) When you make a reservation, be sure to mention you want a window seat, otherwise they'll put you next to the front door (the least pleasant spot...). They don't have doggy bags. Delicious, cozy, and affordable.

We received the wrong order a few times, after which the staff became irritated with us. The food is reasonably priced, but felt very basic (almost as if it came from the supermarket next door). The restaurant does have a nice atmosphere, though. So, for a quick meal at a good price, it's a good location.

Honestly, the food was absolutely delicious, above and beyond my expectations. €20 per person, a good friend of mine, and I had a wonderful meal there. I hadn't expected it to be this good, and especially so well presented. We were even on a time schedule, so we were helped really well and quickly. See you soon! And perfect if you're planning to visit the Stadstheater in Zoetermeer. Perfect!

I've never been served so rudely in a restaurant. We'd deliberately made a reservation ahead of time (5:30 PM) because we had two small children with us. We were among the first in the restaurant, but despite this, we had to wait 20 minutes for our first drinks. At 6:00 PM, we all ordered our three-course menu, and when, after an hour, the starter still hadn't arrived, we repeatedly asked how long everything would take. We were constantly told how busy it was, but that it would be there soon. When, after the starter, the main course also took a long time to arrive, we asked for the bill at 8:30 PM, stating that we would forgo the main course and dessert. The waitress said this wasn't possible, so we ended up paying the full price after a failed and disappointing evening, even though the food still hadn't arrived and we'd been waiting 2.5 hours. No excuse, just the constant repetition of how busy it was, while we already saw several other customers who had arrived long after us leave. Then we insisted on speaking to the manager, who, instead of offering to meet us halfway, immediately started yelling defensively at us. Even my daughter, who had just popped in to ask if everything was okay and if she needed to sit down, got the full brunt of it. I've never been spoken to in such an antisocial manner. Customer service is completely foreign to this woman, that much is clear to us. In the end, after a lot of yelling from her, we finally got the correct receipt, but with a lot of disappointment, hunger, and crying children, we left the restaurant. Never again.

We've been to many "Bregje" restaurants, but never in our own city, Zoetermeer. Unfortunately, it was also the last time. Perhaps we were unlucky; it was a busy Friday night, and we had to go to the theater, along with many others. We arrived on time, no problem, and from that moment on, things went south. Appetizers were brought out at different times for the four of us. Apology accepted. The main course was the same. Three of the main courses were simply cold and overcooked, completely dried out. The cheese on the hamburger was completely dried out, and the braised meat was unchewable. Course number 4 didn't arrive until the rest were almost finished. Then came the fries, which came with the first three courses. Luckily... because then we could still eat something. Course number 4 was also dried out, but at least it was warm. Apology accepted. Then you think dessert will probably be fine... Two apologies, and now for the real deal... Exactly, one by one again. Two had already left to get to the theater, and two were still waiting for dessert. We had even paid, even though we hadn't received everything yet. Otherwise, we would have been late for the theater. The desserts had fallen in the kitchen... okay, another apology... and we're waiting for new ones. Melted ice cream, spilled whipped cream... This isn't necessarily the kitchen's fault; serving takes too long. If something is left under or next to a hot lamp, you get this, which is what we got. A shame, because the kitchen gets the blame... I saw girls walking around with trays, looking for where to take them. Chatting with each other, and sometimes leaving with just one drink... There's no organization. Wasn't the floor manager there? I have no idea... but this was the last time for us.

We ate here with a group of 50 people. A very reasonable price for decent food.

The wait for food here is between 40 and 45 minutes. We've been here three times now, and it's been this way every time. We think it's really too long, so we won't be back anytime soon.

We ate outside, the benches at the table were way too high, and the chairs weren't comfortable. The staff was super friendly, but I wouldn't eat here again. The hamburger bun was ice cold, the fries were still frozen, and otherwise, the food was just mediocre. The location is great in nice weather, as long as you can find a comfortable seat. No more Bregje for us.

On a beautiful warm summer evening at 8:10 PM, I was about to have a bite to eat with my companions on the patio when the waitstaff told me the kitchen was already closed and only drinks were available. Bregje was doing "too well," I wondered. I was stunned, and we ended up having a lovely dinner just five meters away at the neighbor's!

Drinks: After 20 minutes, we asked if we could have a drink. Food: Way too sweet. The hamburger was disappointing, and we had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive. Atmosphere: Loud and noisy.

This often indicates microwave heating. No, it was a very big disappointment. Now I eat at bregje a lot. Including The Hague Leidschendam, always good and tasty there. We had dinner here today on Good Friday, the day before Easter, and what you could expect was a very busy day. The food took a long time and after an hour and a half we had our main course. After this we decided not to have dessert and joined the queue to pay where it later turned out that several people no longer wanted their dessert. The food was also really mediocre and little. As an option we received 2 separate main menus instead of paying for the 3 course menu. This saved us 50 cents afterwards... because we wanted to have a nice evening, we left it at that. The new menu from Wednesday was not a good reason for us, picking up the drink voucher was perhaps the least you could do, which is a pity. The entire restaurant looked at his watch and emptied out. Last night the two of us had a lovely meal with you. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. My partner ordered the Street Food platter, mainly because she is very fond of both the spare ribs and the hot dog that comes with it. When the platter was brought, it turned out that there were no spare ribs on it. When we then politely asked a waitress, we thought there would be spare ribs on it, was that right? Then she said no, then she said, normally they are on it, but now they are gone. So we indicated that it is nice if something like this is mentioned when ordering, because then you have the chance to order something else. We did not think this was very nice. What also irritated us was that the food was brought really quickly, we literally had not finished our main course yet, were still eating the fries and the last nacho chips and our dessert was already put on the table. I had the chocolate dream and my scoop of ice cream had completely melted and crystallized. As if it had been defrosted and put back in the cold. The scoop was literally not a scoop but almost a puddle of chocolate ice cream. Then at 18:55 we were asked to leave our table because it was needed for other people, while it clearly states on your site that if you order the three-course menu you really have to take into account a duration of at least 2.5 hours. Then I find it extra special when we arrive at 5 pm sharp and are told that we really have to leave at 7 pm. Then we indicate when paying that we find this kind of thing a shame, and that we actually find it a bit strange that the extra price of the street food platter is simply charged while it was not to our liking. And my dessert was also not to our liking. When we indicate this, we get the answer, yes madam that is annoying but it just has to be paid. We indicate again that we really do not think this is nice, that making mistakes is really human but that it is nice if it is resolved a bit and the girl repeats again that she is not going to do anything about it and that we just have to pay. Waitresses do their best, but service is poor. Not being able to pay separately, not doing anything about a complaint about the food and blaming "the concept". Pieces of bone in the hamburger, not paying attention to whether there is anything to drink. Place looks nice, but floor is sticky, toilet is dirty and no towels to dry your hands. I won't be coming to Bregje Zoetermeer anymore.

Nice and cosy place where you get a three course meal for a very attractive price. The food is great given the price you pay for it, many options are available for the three courses. It can take a while until you get your food between courses. To summarize, you get great bang for your buck and I would definitely come back.

It is a cozy setting to sit in. The main course we had, satay (and the neighbors' salmon), I think was cooked sous vide, which is not bad, but then throw it briefly on a baking tray or grill, there was 0 color on it and the grill edge gives that extra flavor and structure. But you certainly can't complain about the starter (a variation of all starters) and the price.

We made a reservation here yesterday, but they didn't have a table available for us and had no idea when. A solution was also not looked at. WmWe went to La Cubanita and were warmly welcomed there and had a delicious meal.

Te weinig vegetarisch eten, wat betreft het hoofdgerecht. Daarnaast is het allemaal diepvries en het geld niet echt waard, de service daarentegen is wel naar wens geweest.

Ik dacht laten we het nog een keer proberen, maar eerlijk het was nog slechter dan de vorige keer. Eten is weinig en smakeloos en het dessert lijkt wel of het kant en klaar is uit de supermarkt. Nu echt nooit meer.

Ga niet naar Bregje Zoetermeer als je erna nog naar film of theater wil. Ze zeggen dat je het makkelijk redt, maar je moet heel lang op gerechtjes wachten. We wilden nog dessert, maar bediening zei dat dat nog HALF UUR, ging duren. Gingen zo voorstelling niet halen en hadden al betaald via social deal. Kon wel mee in doosje. Rare toestand. Veel te weinig personeel.

Dit is een budget restaurant. Verwacht dus geen hele bijzondere dingen, want daar is de prijs niet naar. Prijs kwaliteit is prima. Ook voor vegetariërs zijn er opties. Groot zonnig terras. Het restaurant is gezellig ingericht (geen vreetschuur). En er zit voldoende ruimte tussen de tafels. Geluidsniveau is goed te doen, ook als het druk is.

For dessert there was nothing lactose free on the menu, but they did have sorbet ice cream. I chose the lemon variant, it was already dripping out and in such a small bowl compared to the rest of the dessert I would be ashamed to put it down. This was also indicated, then I was told that there was nothing they could do about it. In short, there are nicer restaurants for a large group.
