I was disappointed with the cold pancakes.

Very friendly staff, the only thing that is a shame is that everything is done by pin and nothing in cash

We were here for the farewell musical of group 8. It was great fun to see the children and our grandson from the Paulusschool perform. They had won a competition and were allowed to perform the musical here. We did not eat here so no opinion about that, otherwise everything was well organized and well taken care of.

We visit the city theater several times a year because there are a number of nice performances that we like to go to. Especially if you come from Zoetermeer, you won't quickly go to another theater. The staff at the entrances upon arrival are always nice and friendly, just like the staff before you enter the hall👌🏻. But what has irritated me for years is that they are difficult about paying in cash?? Or you are told that you have to pay the exact amount or that you just have to use your debit card?? Cash is simply a valid means of payment, so that is just very strange. It can't be that difficult to have change, can it?? I would really appreciate it if the director could also respond to this review?? If there is a major malfunction at the banks or just at the debit card machine, how do you solve that?? Or can you suddenly pay spontaneously with cash?? The theater has 954 seats, so times a minimum of 2 drinks, you can do the math!! What I often notice is that there is a consumption drink with your card but that if you sometimes want to get a beer or wine that is not on the tables afterwards. Yesterday we went to Jentl and the farmer which was a super fun show 🙏🏻 . Afterwards I want to get a bottle of Hertog Jan and an apple juice that were gone at the tables in the hallway. I politely ask do you still have those and they say yes you can get them at the side at the bar and if not just ask. When we get there there are bottles of drinks at the back of the bar except what we wanted. There is a staff member at all the bottles so I ask can I have a bottle of beer and an apple juice they say you can walk around while she is literally busy getting drinks!! I don't understand why you don't get helped from both sides?? While all the bottles are on the other side?? My answer was short and powerful stick them up your ass not polite of me but I hope the message is clear enough with this review. Immediately left and went somewhere else to drink where they do accept cash, which most catering establishments do in the city center!! I hope that more people pay attention to the fact that cash is still a valid legal tender. Older people also sometimes struggle because they do not know the PIN code with their age and do have cash with them. For all catering establishments where you can only pay by card, think about everything because a power failure can destroy everything!! The director of the city theater should be able to give an appropriate response to this review.

If you don't have knowledge, you shouldn't be in ministry. If you do, and the guest asks something, your answer is not curt and ugly that you don't know and that you are therefore out of luck, but that you just ask.

Drinks package taken. It looks like a lot in the photo, but Stage is not doing so well, so operator Schraalhans has decided to reduce the quantities somewhat. Result: 2 smeared sausage slices, unfortunately not fresh, 2 tiny cubes of cheese and 2 minis from the deep fryer per person. Also 2 bowls of sauce that doesn't come with anything, a bowl of olives and some nuts. And that goes out with a modest glass of house wine for 10 euros per person. Just a scam. No wonder the place is running so poorly. Won't come back again. Bye!

Nice terrace to relax and generally good staff. My comment concerns the wine, the prices are quite high, but the quantity poured varies considerably. I spoke to the 'manager' on duty about this, but unfortunately she did not have a satisfactory answer, she had no idea how many cc per glass they serve. Therefore, I recommend buying a bottle, which is still somewhat reasonably priced.

Cozy place, delicious coffee, the complete coffee is also very tasty. With 2 small muffins, brownie and other sweets.

Enjoyed listening to the great singer Tess Merlot while enjoying a snack and a drink. It was a great afternoon!

Weekly menu: 2x tenderloin with vegetables and parma ham and fries, dessert oreo cheese cake with scoop of ice cream and Apple crumble, delicious wine and delicious Esspro afterwards. Top chef. A great evening in a cozy atmosphere. Pleasant staff. Highly recommended

Very nice staff. Were served at our beck and call. Super friendly. We had a snack and a drink. The risotto/prawn bitterballen were delicious. Never eaten before. Nice thing too. Nice atmosphere. I will definitely come back here.

I looked at the menu on the website and it looked good. Once settled we were given a card with very little on it, it turned out they had no chef. The hamburger was good, but the stew with fries was unpalatable. Lots of greasy and dry and rock hard. And that for €15 per portion. We might as well have gone to a chip shop.

It turned out beautiful after the renovation. A beautiful atmosphere has been created. Only the wardrobe is not very convenient.

Bare and angry! It looks nice, but after a visit to the theater I opted for a pleasant arrangement here, but it was too sad for words. This costs a total of €25 for 2 people, but it really wasn't worth it. And after it has been delivered to the table, you will never see anyone from the service again. We had the idea that there should be another bread board, but alas. Order a beer or a glass of soft drink here, but NEVER the arrangement!!

Not a great restaurant. Slow operation. Good starter, but main course certainly nothing to write home about. In the wide choice of restaurants that Zoetermeer offers, this place is certainly somewhere at the bottom of the list for me.

Had lunch here yesterday. My wife had an Asian soup. She said the soup was tasty. However, after lunch we had to hurry to go home. My wife was not feeling well. When we got home the soup came out. My wife has suffered a food poisoning. Give 2 stars because it is normally fair to good at Stage. Too bad about that soup.

After the renovation, the City Theater has become beautiful. Only the step down is quite dangerous. My husband had a bad fall.

Service was friendly, but we still had no food or drinks after 45 minutes, even though we made several attempts, we had indicated that we had an hour until the movie, it was almost empty and we were with hungry children.

Went to Bumba with grandson. We sat in the front row on the balcony, well as a child you don't see anything. Not even with the booster seat. Several people complained but there was nothing they could do about it. Customer friendliness and service are not of paramount importance. Shame
