PUCK in Overtoomse Veld

The food was very good, above expectations. The sweet potato fries, the burger, the wraps and the chicken wings were sooo delicious. We also had some type of pizza with beef pepperoni. Everything was great. Daan, our server was very nice as well. We played Jinga, Air Hockey etc. lots of fun stuffs to enjoy. I’ll be back every once in a while.

Nice place, with a certain charm. P.S. The target audience is difficult to pinpoint. 14 to 17 year olds, or maybe 18 to 24. If you're new to dating or trying to figure out if your date is crazy or a gold digger in a less serious location.

The place is huge and looks fun. He came for a quick snack and enjoyed the sweet potato fries very much, also the strawberry feta salad was surprisingly very tasty and balanced. Pizza so-so. But great place to come with kids or friends who enjoy arcade games. We'll be back.

Great place, but don't expect too much. Puck is a nice location to have a drink and play an arcade game, but don't expect too much. The mainstream games (dancing, ball throwing, shooting) are fun, but other games aren't much. The racing game seems to be multiplayer, but this does not always work, which was a waste of coins for us. After an hour you're done with it and you spend the rest of the time having a drink. In short, it is a nice place for a date or drinks with friends, but you will have to plan something else or choose an alternative if you come purely for the arcade. What I can imagine is that this is a very nice location for a company party or other event. There is plenty of space and it's nice that employees can switch between arcade and drinks! Didn't have any food, so I can't comment on that. In summary: Nice for 2 hours if you are on a date or the like, but I would first eat somewhere and then have an activity with drinks afterwards. I don't recommend eating after reading the other reviews. Family/event seems very suitable to me.

I just had a going away party that consisted of quite a few negative experiences. The food was great and we had a tremendous server. The manager (girl in pink clothes at the time) was extremely good at her job. As a restaurant owner myself, she hit every step of service that should be expected. Our reservation was poorly handled over the phone. We were given a karaoke room only to be called later that it was overbooked. I booked the place for karaoke specifically so I was pretty let down. We were told over the phone we could start at 9. We weren't allowed in the rooms until 11. When our time was near up, a guy came in and shut the machine off mid song as my friends were singing a heartfelt goodbye song to me. It was rude and tone deaf. He honestly should be reprimanded as he ensured 20 other people will likely never attend Club Puck again. They were also understaffed on the floor so service was pretty rough. The food was great though. I had the spicy pizza. Also, the music was so loud in the main room that friends left early as none of us could hear each other.

A restaurant in an arcade hall, exactly what you can expect in club puck. Lots of game machines, more of a bar than a restaurant and lots of people drinking around us. The service is very nice and the atmosphere is cozy, but for food I won't recommend it. The acoustics are very noisy, which is of course normal for an arcade hall and is not a problem at all in a bar, but it does make it difficult to have a conversation during dinner. The food was also not very special. The pizza was quite bland and tasted a bit like it came from a factory, the tzatziki lacked garlic and came with a bit little bread for the amount of tzatziki and the meatballs simply weren't that special. It wasn't dirty, just a bit boring. The games you could play were a lot of fun and the homemade iced tea was delicious. I think it's a nice place to have a drink and play a game with friends, but the label restaurant doesn't quite fit for me.

Nice bar for arcade and board games but a little pricy for drinks and €70+ for karaoke for an hour which we also found to be steep compared to other bars. If you don’t mind spending a little extra a fun place to go.

What a fantastic afternoon at Puck! The food was delicious and fresh, and everything was prepared with love. What a lovely lady, the hostess — sorry, I forgot her name, but it was an Arab lady. Wow, she knows her job! So lovingly cared for and sincere… almost un-Amsterdam. We will be back soon. X

One of my favourite arcade/bar in Amsterdam. You can eat, drink and play arcade games at the same time! Little but pricey but not too bad. Would highly recommend 👌 👍

Club Puck is a great spot for company outings, but also a great place to enjoy drinks and fun arcade games in your free time. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides excellent service! The venue has an amazing and fun atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit! A huge thank you to the team: Djamilla, Mr. MC, bartender, and the big boss. You all made our night!

We had our department outing at Puck and enjoyed it. The snacks were delicious! There is a wide variety of entertaining games and the karaoke was a lot of fun! The staff were friendly and helpful. You can also take a locker there if you need it. All in all a perfect location for a pleasant evening with a good atmosphere and good music. Recommended!

Not a large menu, but very tasty and affordable. Very nice, lots to do, mainly for ages 10 to 30/40. And.....parking practically in front of the door, free after 7 p.m.

Great place for drinks and having some fun. We love to have it in the neighborhood. Also has a good terrace for when the weather is nice. The food options though are average and pricey for the quantity

A favorite among our group of friends for a fun evening out! Cozy atmosphere, nice staff and tasty drinks. The rosé is highly recommended ;-). In addition to the various arcade games, the karaoke room is especially great!

On Friday, October 10, 2024, I arrived at Puck to meet my brother, sister-in-law, and another friend for some drinks, arcade games, and maybe some food. We started with beers and snacks, and after about an hour, two more friends joined us. Our night was almost perfect: good company, ice-cold beer, and quality food. Then, out of nowhere, I saw the bar’s bouncer (the first time I saw him that night, by the way. He was not there when I arrived) heading towards our table and stopping next to me. He politely asked if I spoke Dutch, to which I responded with the classic, “English, if you don’t mind.” He then explained that according to the house rules, I couldn’t be wearing sweatpants. Now, you might be thinking, “Come on, bro, what did you expect wearing gray gym pants with a hole in the back to a hipster bar?” But I assure you, that wasn’t the case. Yes, I was wearing comfortable pants, but brand-new, and very presentable Adidas originals pants. With my Adidas sneakers, I felt like a 90s Nu Metal Rockstar, rocking out with my friends. but the dream didn't last. Apparently, the place has a VERY strict dress code on weekends, especially after 9pm on Fridays (I arrived around 7pm). When I asked why, the bouncer told me it was to keep out “street guys.” What an unfortunate answer and a clear lack of proper training. When I spoke to the manager, she tried to explain that the bar turns into a club at a certain point in the night, with a specific dress code, etc. But it left a sour taste, like changing the rules of the game in the middle of a match. And I can tell you without any modesty, there were people dressed much more informally than me who weren’t being bothered. The fact that they were all Dutch is probably just a coincidence. The manager said she would make an exception for us and apologized, but by then, our night was already spoiled. We asked for the check and left. Too bad, because now I’ll have to find another arcade bar in the west that accepts “street guys” (what a joke!) like me.

Be aware as they might racially profile you and ask you to leave. My Brazilian friend (who has a beard and dark hair - can be confused for Middle Eastern) was approached by a security guard and asked to leave because from 9PM on weekends sweatpants are not allowed. Fun fact 1: he was there since 6PM and was not approached until that security guard started working, who explained they don’t want certain people from the west part of the city there Fun fact 2: a girl with sweatpants arrived as we were being approached and was not asked to leave at all. Spare yourself and go to any other arcade bars in the city

Nice place to spend your Friday/Saturday evenings. Besides a nice beer, they have all kinds of fun games or the arcade hall where you can show your competitive side, which is really great! In addition, compliments to all the people who work there: super social, pleasant and friendly. Really great and keep it that way!!

Great bar! The atmosphere is cozy, with a unique selection of arcade games. The staff is not only incredibly friendly, but also provides a personal and hospitable experience, making you feel right at home. Definitely recommended for a fun evening with a date

I absolutely loved this place, friendly service, nice snacks, descent beers and reasonable prices. The games are just really fun and the terrace is very pleasant for a short break from all the fun or indeed have a nice chat with your friends.

Great place for a night out with friends, esp well suited for larger groups as it’s pretty spacious for Amsterdam standards.

Decent place and a few classic arcades on the floor, could do with more games and less seating. Cocktails and staff are great but organization of the bar and ingredient placement leaves the staff in a position to move too much while making signature drinks. Each assembly station should allow the mixologist the ability to create without taking more than 2 steps to either side but their saving grace is that their staff is friendly and chatty so waiting isn't a huge deal if it isn't too crowded or busy

Fantastic restaurant/pub with 80s games inside. If you are of that generation (or even all the others) it is an obligatory stop. Guaranteed fun with pinball, table hockey, lots of video games and board games. Very kind staff and Italian chef (very good!). Absolutely worth trying.

Small selection of food. I ordered some meager Dutch snacks (bitterballen and chicken wings) to have with some beers, I've been waiting for 45 minutes and I still don't have my food. The place is mostly empty. More importantly, the waitresses and cooks are all drinking shots at the bar....good for them. I left without eating.

Very nice place, in a quiet area and easily reachable by metro. Super good mini burger and dessert and the guy who served us was really kind, as soon as he saw us pick up the phone to translate the menu he came over to ask if we had any questions. We didn't use it, but the place is full of games, from board games to video games for all tastes! High prices, but like everywhere in the city so nothing special to report.

Absolutely love this place and the staff. Coming here every week now.

Loads of cool games to play (sad they don’t have the Guitar Hero anymore), and their cocktails are tasty. Tried some of their food and it’s pretty good (pizza and burger), but the fries we had were too oily. The staff is wonderful—planned a company hangout here, as well as celebrated a birthday and both times the staff was very helpful. They even allowed us to store a surprise birthday cake in their fridge so 10/10 for that.

Had a nice evening on Thursday between showers. Even received a few bonus coins.

Unfortunately, many slot machines are defective... The cocktails are OK The service was very friendly and attentive. We had several problems with the machines, but received replacement tokens without discussion. This place is more of a meeting place for locals who drink and play board games together

Fun bar to play arcade games with friends! As of March 2024 you get 6 coins for 5 euros and most games require 1 coin per person. People working there are super nice and friendly. They also have board games you can play at no extra charge.

Very nice bar/restaurant - games room. The staff were very kind (except the guy at the bar/cocktails, who was more interested in chatting with his friends than working). Italian chef and very good pizza! Nice games room, a little small so if crowded there will be a slight wait for the games and a bit of noise.

This is my favourite bar in Amsterdam! The staff is super friendly, the vibe is always good and there is so much to do. Love the board games and arcades! The karaoke is also super fun to join. 10/10!!!

We planned to have a team event in PUCK and we paid a deposit, we did change our dates because unavailability from the team. After sending multiple emails nobody even replied, we did not even received a valid invoice from them. Very poor management, I advice everybody to stay away from organizing an event here.

Great choice of arcade games and usually not too busy, you can always find something fun to do. If you’re overwhelmed by the noises of the machines, you can also enjoy a drink and great food on the terrace or even play a board game. Reasonably priced too.

Quite a nice place. I think the drinks are very pricey. Also play games. It's fun for once, but not as a permanent hangout in the West... a pity because it could have that potential, but not for 5.50 euros per 🍺

Very nice place to go with friends. It has some retro games, table games and also karaoke. Toilets are always clean, there is a smoking terrace and in the evening there is also security.

This is my third visit to the Ton Ton Puck and also my last. What a regression. 1 man staff, long wait for drinks that were also incomplete. Asked twice where the missing beer was. The Menu has changed since 2 weeks. Looks like a Pizzaria. If you don't like pizza then you have a big problem. Little variety. The pizza is delivered uncut on 1 large plate. Had to ask for cutlery ourselves. Then the amusement arcade. Because that's what we came for. Basketball ring was broken. Should be moving. Count was wrong. Then air hockey. Coin inserted but no checker available. No one from the staff can be found because yes... they have their hands full walking past the tables. We made this known to the bar, but they couldn't do anything for us either. I will definitely not go back here again. Far too few staff, menu with little variety, arcade more annoyance than entertainment.

The food was okay, nothing special and also expensive for what they offered. I tried the pizza margarita and pizza quattro formaggi; not so tasty. Even the drinks were expensive. I found it kind of cool that there was an arcade. You could buy tokens (1=€1,-;6=€5,-). It was fun to play some games with friends, but otherwise I would never go here.

Food and drinks are a bit limited, the arcade itself has a wide variety of games to keep you busy for a few hours. The staff and facilities are easily the most inclusive and diverse in Amsterdam.

Great small arcade with variety of games and cheap prices (6 tokens for 5 euros) with amazing service and very chill staff. Enjoyed spending my evening there! Didn’t get any food but they have draft Heineken and it’s not that expensive.

A wonderful experience in Amsterdam. Waiter Daan (I hope I'm spelling it right) was very kind and make us feel at home. Vegetarian burgers were very tasty. Next time we'll be in Amsterdam we'll come back for sure.

Spent the afternoon and evening here for my birthday (I am an adult haha)! It was great. Plenty of space, not too quiet and not too loud. Great selection of arcade games as well as board games! The staff is very accommodating and always does what they can to take care of your needs (helping put up decorations, providing tools, helping when machines don't work, etc.). They were pleasant and approachable. Highly recommend this place for a date, birthday, or couple hours of fun!

The place is SUPER fun! I haven't even seen the 4 hours I was there passed. There are many games, all arcades work well and the staff are nice and friendly.

Dit is één van mijn favoriete plekken in West. Je kan er makkelijk voor de deur parkeren. Het personeel is super gezellig en leuk. De muziek is altijd chill en de cocktails zijn super lekker. Leuk om drankjes te doen en af te wisselen met wat spelletjes en karaoke!

Amazing place, they don’t have that many games but the vibe is really good. Music on point, good beers and really interesting cocktails, the spicy margarita and the Moscow mule are really recommended. And if you’re only going for the games and not the drinks, the price is for tokens is really decent, so it’s a great place overall, really recommended!

We’ve had great fun here yesterday. Nice burgers on the sunny outdoor terrace, and plenty of fun games. Nice that there is a Guitar Hero game, lockers are also available.
