I found this cafe near my home accidently, I’m fond of the taste of their coffee beans, and the cups today are adorable~~~

Having perfect service and nice atmosphere here, the Turkish coffee is special and the cup is pretty!!

Good place to have a savory breakfast

I used to like this place a lot. I kept getting my coffee beans from there and occasionally would drop by for a coffee/pastry. But today, I was more than negatively surprised. I bought a small bag of beans (250g) and a small slice of cheese cake. The bill came out to be 15,40€. I was super confused as I know the price of the beans (7,80€). So I asked for a receipt. I was told the receipt could currently not be printed. So I asked for the prices and was told that the slice of cake is 7.50€ (!!!). I was truly shocked. I go out for coffee in that neighbourhood a lot and usually a cake would be 4.50€, maybe 5€. Occasionally a fancy one may be 5.50€, but I have never seen a price like that. So I asked her to please take the cake off the bill as I would prefer not to buy it. As I was already charged, she had to call someone and told me I had to wait for a refund. I was already late (and to be fair, I should have probably asked for the price before ordering). So I said, okay, I will take it. Now came the final surprise. The to-go package was a plastic cup. She pushed the cake in, it right the way got damaged in the front. If you charge that much for a small slice of cake, you should at least have decent paper boxes?! Overall a bad experience. Value for money does not seem to work (anymore)? Disappointed from a cute local place that seems to head the wrong way. I am attaching pictures for size PS. the taste of the cake was okay, nothing special but not bad either!

Had an incredible breakfast consisting of bazlama with mozzarella, tomato and pesto, with an iced coffee on the side. Not too pricy, and very tasty! One small thing that could be improved is for the waiter to be a bit more engaging; we hardly saw him and when my friend and I finished our food, after 15 minutes no one had come to pick up our plates or ask if we wanted to pay. All in all, though, really nice and relatively cheap place for a good, filling breakfast!

Had a lovely lunch here. The only point for improvement would be nice music without too much bass.

This place is VERY nice! I took some turkish bread(?) with vegies (didn't remember the name of meal), an some ice latte. Price is very nice for good amount of food, and the food itself was delicious too. The place has a toilet and sink upstairs, so you can wash hands before eating. Also the owner was very sweet and gave everyone inside a free glass of fresh mango-orange juice. Overall perfect place to grab tasty and cheap food or to have a lunch. 10/10.

I’ve lived in Amsterdam for quite some years now, and I would have to agree with all the hipsters. This is the best coffee in town 😃🫶. Also, I love their matcha latte 🍵 and fresh pastries

Cute little cafe in Amsterdam, nice coffee. A very small area for sitting in so not ideal for families. Great to grab a coffee and go or if you are alone or with small group maybe you can get a spot.. overall nice place to get good coffee and listen to Arabic music🎶

Looking for a hot cup of fresh herbal tea on a cold morning in what is called the " kolenkit " area. A pleasant surprise to have found this place. Lovely welcoming staff and delicious food. In walks the baker with fresh loafs of Turkish bread ..This place breathes kantine with its subtle light. I found a place where I will regularly have tea.

Qahve is a hidden gem in the neighborhood! The owner and the staff are super friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that keeps me coming back. As a vegetarian, I appreciate their delicious cheese toasties and the homemade bazlamas, which are always satisfying. My kids absolutely love the ice from Nice and their selection of Fritz Limonade and hot Salep adds another layer of enjoyment to the menu. The prices are very fair, considering the high quality of the offerings. In conclusion, Qahve is a perfect blend of warmth, flavor, and hospitality - a fantastic café that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Verry unique place with the focus on quality! Really good coffee, food and specials on the menu.

Onwijs lekkere cappuccino gehad met Turkse tosti. Omdat ik het mokje zo mooi vond, kreeg ik het als cadeau. Enorm gastvriendelijke tent!

Leuke koffiebar, vriendelijk personeel met heerlijke koffie. De tahini brownie & babka zijn een echte aanrader. Super schattig ingericht en er hangt een relaxte vibe. Ik kom er graag!

Good coffee americano and super nice carrot cake, I haven't eat something like that in a long time. I like that there are actual pieces of nuts, and the cream toping is very smooth but not too sweet. Very balanced cake in my opinion.

Cost and calm place, love to see more of the sucuk tosti in Amsterdam

Fuimos a tomar desayuno sin ninguna expectativa, pero nos sorprendió para bien :) Tomamos te y chocolate caliente, para comer pedimos una porcion de carrot cake y otra de brownie. Todo ESPECTACULAR. Fue como estar en casa, muy tranquilo y el personal muy amable. Sin duda lo recomendaré

Lovely place, great tea and coffee selection.

Extremely good place. The owner is very laid back and nice to have a talk to. The pastry is good as well. The beans are good. I haven’t tried filter coffee but I think it should be good as well. If there are no options for filter, I would suggest adding them and market them!

Voor de eerste keer geweest vandaag, en zal zeker terugkomen. Tahini cake was to die for! 😋
