Yes, a really nice restaurant Not too busy and a lovely, spacious terrace. Staff friendly and the prices are really great too. I love going there.

Our little pub is actually always top-notch. Cozy, and above all, the staff are sweet and lovely. Nothing but praise for this, which has been our favorite spot for years. Many hospitality establishments could take a leaf out of their book. Especially A-zicht and the Happy Mouse. 🤔🤫 Just a quick "update": had a delicious meal tonight on the first of three "mussel eating" nights. You can enjoy them on July 18th and 19th. I am happy with initiatives like this evening. Or the World Cup football nights. Also the regular so-called pub quiz nights. I think this is important so that our favorite pub can profile itself and entice people to be part of it. However, it absolutely must not come at the expense of the atmosphere that we make particularly pleasant and enjoyable, or alienate us from the place we have been enjoying for decades. Commercially, I understand these steps. Also seeing that it worked tonight. Queen of Hearst must remain as it has always been. Despite new management. 🤫😉😗

We ate incredibly delicious mussels. So well seasoned that we didn't need any sauces. Served with delicious fries and a glass of Pinot Grigio. Friendly service. What more could you ask for?

We thoroughly enjoyed a snack and a drink on the terrace. It is a shame, though, that you don't have a smoke-free terrace. It is very unpleasant to have people smoking on all sides while you are trying to enjoy a beautiful summer day.

I didn't find the food particularly special, but certainly not bad either. We sat on the terrace, with plenty of choice between sun and shade—great. The service was prompt and friendly.

The atmosphere here makes me feel like I'm in a real pub. The waitress is a lovely, lively lady who is open to a friendly chat and puts every customer at ease. The food is affordable and very tasty. This gem of Zoetermeer should not be missing from your list of places to visit.

Everything is fine, only the music could be a lot quieter, because it is so nice to be able to follow conversations normally, especially if you are wearing a device to hear better, as that amplifies every sound, including the music that dominates. Anyone who wants to hear music properly does so at home or goes elsewhere where it is louder; in a restaurant, it should be in the background and not in the foreground.

Don't order a steak. You get it medium if you want it rare, and more than well-done if they overcook it for you. Everyone was already finished and the fries were cold. A nice dinner was pretty much ruined. Staff super friendly.

Surprisingly good! Had a delicious meal, friendly staff! We went to the theater afterwards and received 5 vouchers for a cup of coffee or tea! Where do you still find that these days! We will definitely go back again! And the price was certainly not too expensive either!

If you're looking for a place to have dinner in Zoetermeer, this is a must-visit. The vibes are giving English pub, the food is perfection in its simplicity, and the service is the best I've encountered in a while. They're attentive, make sure you feel welcome, and take allergies as seriously as if its their own. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Delicious lunch at Queen of Hearts! What a lovely spot in Zoetermeer. Had lunch today and really enjoyed it: the Holtkamp croquettes were perfect – crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside – just as you'd hope. I also had a Guinness beer that paired perfectly with the lunch. Relaxed atmosphere, good service, and quality products. Absolutely recommended; I'd love to come back. 🍽️🍺

What a hit this restaurant is! We had a wonderful meal here after a matinee performance. Grandma's pulled pork was delicious, and the shepherd's pie was also fantastic. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere complete the experience. All of this for a great price. We'll definitely be back.

Such a wonderful experience! I arrived with my stroller, and they opened the door when I arrived and also when I left. The baby needed a bottle, which I was able to give in a quiet corner with very friendly smiles, which made me feel very welcome. Thanks again!

A very cozy place, super-fast service, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The cocktail list could be a bit longer; it's a bit limited, but that's understandable given it's a pub. So definitely recommended.

Nothing English about this"English pub". No English beer. Gordon's Gin is the only English thing they have. But the Murpheys is very good

Ordered a tuna sandwich and a coffee macchiato. The coffee was very tasty, but the sandwich immediately did not go down well and IMMEDIATELY started to resist after consumption ... it had to be taken out immediately and fortunately that was possible in the toilet of queen of hearts ... but I was still sick and miserable the entire evening and the next day .... This was the beginning of food poisoning...for which good money was paid...I advise everyone NOT to eat anything edible here...

Great Dutch beer hall, good selection of drinks and snacks. Very professional service, born bartenders. Just be careful on Saturday evenings, because Dutch folk music is played. Apart from that, it's a great rock place.

When I go to Zoetermeer city center with my wife, I often go to Queen of Hearts. We think good coffee is good. It is of course difficult to always perform well, but it is small things that make you notice that people are not always paying attention. Today, in addition to the satay, a bowl of fries. They would have been better off not giving it. You can already see it in the photo. No tasty fries. Put old fries back in the fryer, I suspect. Are you going to complain about that?

We wanted to eat something before a theater performance, but were running late. This was no problem. In no time we had delicious food in front of us, the meat was tender, delicious salad. We were welcomed and served very kindly. Highly recommended.

Queens of heart, I regularly eat it with 2 acquaintances, only today, my stomach is turning and I will probably have to throw up, all dishes served today were extremely bad. I had satay chicken bread and salad Salad and bread were fine, but the chicken was burnt in the wrong way and seemed to be very old meat... I took pictures... I will of course also report this to the Food and Consumer Product Safety Department, we have also made our findings known, there were no concessions made, but presented with the bill of 57 euros... for food with old, spoiled meat..... 'scandalous

Delicious food. I really liked the atmosphere/music, no loud stomping music. Interior is cozy. Will definitely come here again. Service was good for Friday.

Food was tasty enough but ordinary. It was very quiet and yet it all took a very long time. It was lunchtime so I'm not sure if it's wise to assume that there is enough time and that the rest of the food can come when the break sandwich is gone. Maybe check it out. That didn't suit me at the time, so that's a shame. But anyway, great service and an extra cup of tea as an excuse.

The spareribs were really tasty. The Surf and Turf was also excellent. A quiet Tuesday evening, fast and relaxed service. I asked for extra vegetables and got a huge salad with my spare ribs. Unfortunately, the corn cob shown in the picture was not spotted.

Reservations in advance are a must, but you can sit inside or on the covered terrace with patio heating. The employees are very nice, you don't have to wait too long for anything and the price is really fair. The food is delicious. I will definitely come here again

I ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream. And there came a large glass with a tower of whipped cream!! Yammi!

After years, the apple strudel is no longer on the menu. The hot chocolate with whipped cream is very sweet, maybe even too sweet. The apple crumb is cold and hard. Furthermore, very friendly and nice staff and a very nice atmosphere. One of the few places where you can drink stout (beer) in the city.

Serveersters zijn teveel met elkaar in gesprek over niet werk gerelateerde zaken om te zien dat er klanten zitten te wachten. Met 3 serveersters en evenveel klanten is dat gewoon slecht.

Welwillend aardig personeel werkt sterk onderbezet. Ik heb besloten maar zelf handje te helpen. Gelukkig was het meeste publiek begripvol.

Het nieuwe menu van queen of hearts is super! De hoeveelheid is wel een verassing. Wij hadden nachos als voorgerecht dat was eigenlijk teveel en daarna de streak was eigenlijk te weinig. Het nieuwe menu is nog nieuwe welicht wordt het nog bijgeschaafd, zeker de moeite waard!

Vanmiddag heerlijk in het zonnetje op het terras gezeten. We hadden de maaltijdsalade tonijn en kippendijen saté. Porties zijn goed voor die prijs en het smaakte prima. Iets meer specerijen zou het nog lekkerder maken. Bediening is vriendelijk en best snel.

Vandaag hier binnen gestapt om wat te gasn eten. Het is een soort eetcafee, ziet er gezellig uit. Ook zit er een groot overdekt terras bij. Vanaf 16 uur werd de lunchkaart vervangen door de Dinerkaart. Dat kwam ons goed uit Er is keuze genoeg. Ik koos voor de biefstukpubtjes in teriyakkiesaus en mijn man voor de Shepperdspie. Beide gerechten waren echt heel mals en zeer goed van smaak. Beide opgediend met een frisse lekkere salade en als bij gerecht kan je kiezen voor friet-gebakken aardappeltjes of gepofte aardapp Ook nog een genoten van een dessert, een wafel met ijs+slagroom+kersensaus en een ijscoupe voor mijn man

Voorlopig went het nieuwe normaal niet, al helemaal niet bij uit eten gaan. Maar toch konden we het niet laten om even lekker te gaan eten weer bij ons vaste restaurantje, moesten reserveren maar er was nog plek met de gebruikelijke afstanden er bij. Maar prima, terras was aardig bezet ook dus redelijk gezellig. Ja en het eten was als gebruikelijk ondanks dat de koks hier nog wel eens wisselen weer bijzonder geslaagd. Een gezellige Engelse pub! Aardig personeel, alleen ken ik plekken waar het sfeervoller is. Bedoel qua het publiek en de inrichting. Maar voor Zoetermeer doen ze goed mee en het zeker de plek waar ik zou gaat zitten voor een lekker drankje!
