We really enjoyed the food at Bijou! Even though we were a large group, ordering was very easy and the food was served quickly. Some dishes took a little longer, but that is understandable and wasn't a problem. We found it really flavorful, and there was something tasty for everyone, even for those who don't like fish or sushi. We found the staff friendly and they worked really hard. In short, we will definitely be back!

I "had" to go along. Picked out by my grandson. However, my expectation was an all-you-can-eat wok restaurant, but it isn't that. You order small dishes via a tablet and they are served at the table. Nicely conceived, small portions, freshly prepared, good in taste and preparation. I would almost say, worth repeating.

Went out for dinner with my husband and son on July 2nd. The food itself was decent, but much less good than, for example, shabu shabu, and everything was extremely salty. Afterwards, my son and I became very ill. My husband did not eat sushi; he did not get sick, so I suspect it was the sushi. I called the next day to report this. The employee stated that it is impossible for us to have gotten sick from the food and that, in her opinion, it was cross-contamination. The correct response would have been an apology and saying that you would investigate (even if you didn't). The food alone was reason enough for us not to come here again, but the fact that we both got sick and the employee's reaction means we will absolutely never come here again. Not recommended!

We had delicious sushi. It was flavorful, fresh, and had enough variety. There was also a good selection of desserts.

The food was very disappointing. The staff was fine. Everything is incredibly greasy, which in my opinion is a cover-up for the poor quality of the food. Burnt lamb chop, deep-fried baguette?!?, punctured tuna nigiri (there was a hole in it), very dry lamb skewers… and I could go on and on… afterwards, we were asked how we liked everything, to which my fiancé honestly explained that it isn't really our thing & baguettes aren't supposed to be deep-fried. The receptionist's response was defensive and indicated that this is ALWAYS the case. That may be true, but for people visiting for the first time, this is not normal & certainly not to our liking… Unfortunately, not worth repeating for us. Nevertheless, we were well served by friendly staff. Thanks for that!

We placed the order, and the first drink came within 10 seconds , the first dish came within 45 seconds, I kid you not. We were flabbergasted, this service was consistent throughout the entire stay there. We were so flabbergasted it was like a magic show to us. The food was incredible too. I 10/10 recommend this place, why o why didn't we come earlier?

Delicious sushi, we order online regularly. Unfortunately, online ordering and pickup is not Bijou's strong suit. The online order is never(!) ready at the agreed time. Every time you come in and say you are coming to pick up an order, they stare at you with wide eyes, scan the counter, and then say... Oh, nothing is ready... Just checking the computer. Then it eventually still has to be made, and you end up waiting for 15 minutes. If you say that it is never ready, the excuse you get is that they cannot constantly monitor the computer. If you then indicate that you ordered as early as 1:30 PM, there is silence. The last time, the answer was: please call ahead to let them know you have placed an online order. The upside is that you get very fresh sushi that has just been prepared, but it does touch upon a minor point of irritation. Hopefully, something can be done about this.

I was here for the first time and asked if it was possible to have the lamb without spices because the spices give me stomach pain. The manager came walking over and said, "WHAT IS THE PROBLEM THEN?" While I was just asking the waitress a normal question about the meat, the manager got into an argument with me about the meat! Really bad service! I will never come here again.

The food was tasty. Unfortunately, about 2/3 of what I ordered was delivered every time. Still more than enough, and delivered very quickly after ordering.

We have been eating here regularly from the start; the food is okay. I made a reservation by phone to celebrate my birthday nicely with my family. At least, that's what I thought.... You mention that you are celebrating your birthday, you even show your ID for verification upon entry. You just get ignored... not even a congratulation. You see other people putting a fire fountain on the table... or do you have to explicitly ask for that?!. Well, then the fun is gone, of course. I didn't receive a discount voucher upon leaving either, as stated on the site, or do you have to explicitly ask for that too?!. It is a major damper on your birthday dinner. Then just don't put on your site that you have a birthday promotion for people celebrating their birthdays.... this is really disappointing.

The food was tasty, but the employee behind the counter (an older lady) was not customer-friendly at all. She was grumpy and distant. While paying, I mentioned that it was my birthday, and the lady indicated that I needed to show her my ID card. She then proceeded to ignore me and immediately went to talk to the next customer. She noted down her details. Apparently, she was a regular customer of theirs. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to bring my wallet, but I did have a photo of my ID on my phone. The lady deemed that invalid. Furthermore, the discount would only take effect on a subsequent visit. The other employees who went to serve were friendly, though. So, in short: not a pleasant experience, and therefore not recommended.

Super delicious food, sometimes a bit unclear when exactly something would arrive. But unlimited, so no problem. The quality of the meat is top notch.

This restaurant remains our favorite. The service is always cheerful and clean. The seating is well-spaced, so you're not crammed in. The sushi is a bit different from other restaurants and always tastes good. Don't forget the desserts; there's plenty to choose from. Parking isn't a problem, as long as the motorcycle driving schools aren't taking up space.

I've eaten here quite a few times, always found it mediocre, but yesterday I thought I'd give it another try, but it was even worse than then. Sushi with curry sauce? What a combination! And overall, the sushi was poor quality. Sometimes the sushi was made with soggy rice, and other times it just fell apart from being so dry. People who like this have never had good sushi. It's definitely not worth €40 per person; there are cheaper, better sushi places in Zoetermeer.

Went here for the first time. Truly excellent food. The staff was very friendly, fast, accurate, and communicated with you. The quality of the food was excellent and everything was very fresh. I don't understand some of the stories I've read here. In my opinion, they're 100% untrue. It's definitely recommended, and we will definitely be back.

Very recommended All-you-can-eat! The quality of the food is pretty good and they bring it to the table very fast. The staff is professional but not that friendly or approachable. There were only a few requests such as utensils that were never brought, but that's the only downside. Recommended!

We always love the food here. Ordering is easy via the app, and the food is good quality. The staff is friendly. The dessert buffet is extensive. For us, it's worth the long drive. The only thing we really miss is a play area for children. Even if it's just a small area, it would be perfect!

It's a decent restaurant. We always go early because we have young children, and we still get served quickly. You do notice that the quality of the food deteriorates as it gets busier. Take the squid rings, for example. The busier they get, the tougher they get. Also, not everything you order is always delivered, and when you point this out at the counter, they don't respond. Unfortunately, the robot has been broken for six months, so that's over too.

From grumpy staff to bad food, you'll find everything here! Sushi with shrimp completely in its shell. A piece of wood in my sushi... truly enjoyable. Frozen under the air conditioning, when I asked to be seated elsewhere, they mumbled all sorts of things in a different language, truly professional. After complaining, I was able to get a drink... For 160 euros, your compensation is 3.50. While my child and I choked on our food... Great!

We usually go to the other All you can eat but on the advice of several people we went here to have a look. The ambiance is good, nice spacious restaurant and as usual a tablet to order. Little light to be able to read the, in our opinion limited, menu. (yes, if you want to stuff yourself with sushi for 40 bucks per person you can indulge yourself) The dishes are limited to 6 per round (and therefore limited choice) and we think that is little for two people. The portions are small and each one tastes bland, except for the stir-fry dishes; they burn your mouth out from temperature and taste, causing your taste buds to give up. No sauce with the shrimps (yes, chili sauce but this is also with the salmon (??) The steak "salad" is not finished and also bland in taste, nothing oriental to be found. If this is oriental culinary as the website suggests, then Jan's pancakes from a packet are "patisserie". Tried the sushi: Unfortunately tough, dry and tasteless. Too bad but we tried it but next time we will go back to the familiar address

The most delicious tender steak I have eaten here! Every dish is a culinary adventure for your taste buds.

Because we were with 8 people, we got 2 tablets. Many dishes got mixed up. Of course also a matter of paying attention to what you ordered and what is put on the table again.

This was the worst sushi we ever had. We got the offer from Social Deal and picked it up ourselves. The location was difficult to reach by bike. The price is good but not worth it. Not fresh and not tasty at all.

Clearly deteriorated. Rounds lasted approximately 40-45 minutes. Excuse: busy due to liberation day, the restaurant was not even full. Small portions, what we received seemed like leftovers. Drinks were of course fast because this was excl. No more Bijou for us.

The atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly. I'm glad we had a reservation, it is a big restaurant but it was packed. I liked the way it works, there is a menus on a tablet that you can choose 6 options every time and they'll bring it to the table. Every 10 minutes you can have new 6 choices to order. Very practical and easy to get to try your different sushi snd other options. If you need Wasabi, you must ask the staff to bring you. There is a dessert buffet, where you can choose from, there are plenty of options, although they looked like the sone of the cakes were bought from the supermarket and cut in pieces, but good choices, but there were also fruits. There were plenty of parkings available when we arrived (around 19:00), but maybe better check if on that day there will be an event at the sport center or not just in case.

Hoewel wij vier dagen ervoor hadden gereserveerd, was om 19.00 uur onze gereserveerde tafel nog niet klaar. Wij werden herhaaldelijk verzocht om te gaan zitten. Pas na bijna half uur was 'onze' tafel klaar. De Aziatische gastvrouw bood geen enkele excuus aan. De sfeer was simpelweg niet gezellig, het restaurant was te druk op die zaterdagavond met rennende en schreeuwende kinderen eromheen. De Aziatische bediening was onaardig, koud en afstandelijk, zij 'gooiden' het eten op tafel zonder een woord te zeggen, wij hadden de indruk van overwerkt personeel. Uit eten gaan is een ervaring op zich, niet alleen je maag vullen, de sfeer en de bediening kunnen je avond verlichten of verpesten. Niemand kwam ons vragen of alles naar wens was, laat staan ons 'fijne avond'wensen. Wij voelden ons enkel een nummertje, een lopende portemonnee. Hier komen we NOOIT meer terug! Bah!!!

It is better to go to another place. How can you dry salmon like this? The tomato soup was disgusting! It's hard to write something good. The food was bad. Real. I liked the mushroom soup best, which tasted like powder. Unfortunately we were asked to leave 15 minutes before the end of the reservation because they had to provide service to the next customer. Drinks are charged extra. I did not receive the drink I paid for. It's very sad.

Excellent sushi, quick service. The restaurant is quite spacious, so that is also good. Ordering via the tablet works well. One thing could really be improved: the lighting. It's too dark. I had to use the light on my phone to read the map. A little lighter would be more cozy. The dessert buffet wasn't really worth it. On the other hand: there was ice cream, crème brulet. For those who still have room left after all that sushi.

We always enjoy coming here because the food is always good. On your birthday you will receive a nice gift voucher. After dinner you can use a delicious dessert bar with fruit and various desserts. Parking is free and there is always plenty of space.

We eat at this restaurant at least once a month with a group. Very good quality and plenty of choice (including sushi). Those over 65 get a discount (just report and show) and the same applies if it's your birthday. Nice staff. We have never had a bad evening. Me and the family think it is a top restaurant.

First time. It was quiet on Monday, free parking in front of the door which is nice. The service is less because you don't get any explanation such as how many rounds and how many times per round. I'm used to it differently. Here it was 9 rounds and 3 orders each round. In addition, my daughter vomited upon arrival at home, it can happen. The next day my sister indicated that she was also not feeling well (vomiting/diarrhea). I said that should be from something else! Can't be from the sushi restaurant... But last night it was my neighborhood. This indicates to me that something must have been wrong because I had a very bad night. I will omit details. A nice cozy family restaurant. Lots of choice of small snacks, of which you can order 3 per 10 minutes. Lots of variety sushi 🍣 and meat snacks. Side dishes, unlike other similar concepts, count in the number of 3. Smooth 'quiet' operation and clearing service. The drinks are expensive. Small bottles, lukewarm and therefore quite expensive. Even a bottle of still water is between €6 and €8. You can order ice cream separately. The dishes are traditionally a bit saltier with all those herbs and sauces that go over them. This will automatically make you drink more. Highly recommended to go with your 2nd or large groups.

The food was delicious. You sometimes have to wait a long time for dishes from a certain round. You can order 3 items per person at a time. It often happens, for example when you are in round 4, that items from round 2 or 1 are suddenly brought in. So you think or start thinking, will it happen or won't happen, in most cases it will, but much later. There is a lot of difference in the staff, one is friendly and the other radiates that it has to be done and just needs a smile. Of course, it also depends on when you are there, if it is busier, you might think that person is stressed. The restaurant itself was decorated in the Christmas spirit, the interior looks neat and there is enough space to walk or move through the restaurant in a wheelchair. The only thing is that the toilets are upstairs, which is not convenient for people with mobility problems or who are elderly. I think there is a wheelchair-friendly toilet downstairs, at least I hope so, I didn't pay attention. Exterior: what I think is a real shame is that the stickers are peeling off on the building/facade, it looks sloppy and does not give a good appearance!! Because it looks good inside, but if you don't know the restaurant and you see the outside you think and hope that the interior looks better inside. So it's not inviting.

Ooit in 2019 eerder geweest, toen beviel het goed. Afgelopen week dus een stuk minder helaas. De drankjes hadden wij na een half uur nog niet gekregen, toen ben ik zelf maar naar de bar gelopen om te vragen waar dit bleef. Toen hadden we al 2 rondes met eten gehad. Veel gerechten zijn niet gekomen en andere gerechten werden gebracht die wij juist niet besteld hadden. Personeel mag echt vriendelijker, ze smijten de bordjes nog net niet op je tafel. Bij thuiskomst hadden mijn vriend en ik allebei ontzettende buikkrampen en diaree. Ik denk persoonlijk dat er nog veel te behalen valt op deze punten voor het restaurant.

I'm not really into the all-you-can-eat concept, but I tried it anyway and it wasn't too bad based on previous experiences. The restaurant looked nice and tidy, just like the toilets. We were able to sit at the table earlier even though we were earlier than the reserved time. We were given a tablet for the table and you were allowed to choose 3 dishes per person per round. The system worked well and the dishes arrived super quickly. Which does mean they weren't fresh. Some dishes tasted better than others. But it wasn't bad. I liked the fact that you could stay seated when you compare it with other all you can eat, where you often have to go and get it yourself. There was also a section for desserts. I thought it was very extensive and you could choose from different desserts. I thought the price was a bit more expensive, but it was worth a try.

Wij waren net aan een voorgerecht begonnen, hadden nog geen drankjes, toen mijn man onwel werd. Klanten om ons heen hebben restaurant gewaarschuwd, maar iemand zei daar hebben we geen tijd voor. Uiteindelijk met behulp van klanten mijn nog steeds van de wereld zijnde man naar buiten gebracht. Een andere klant pakte een stoel. Ik belde zelf de ambulance die met gillende sirenes en prio reed. Ik melde mij af bij het restaurant en moest 52 euro afrekenen!!! Dus top service daar.... en in de tussentijd ook niet reageren op mijn email die ik erna gestuurd heb.

Super fast and nice service. The operating robot is also really fun to experience. The food is nothing special, fine and sufficient choice. Enough parking space.

Edit July 25: I sent the restaurant an email with feedback. No response whatsoever. This was the third time in a short time at this restaurant. The first two times were fine. For this evening I had made reservations for six people in total: three adults and three little ones: 4,3 and 2 years old. The time was fine; 1730. When I walked in, the hostess responded with a “yes?!” When I indicated that I had made a reservation, the effort to focus on the paper in front of her proved to be too great, so she asked if it was for two people. In the end she checked, we were at the top of the list. There was no friendliness and we were directed to our table by her. Even though I had indicated the ages of the children on the reservation, this turned out to be unreliable for the lady, because she asked in a very unfriendly way how old the children were. I referred again to the reservation, but according to her it is normal to check the table again by asking the children themselves. Very remarkable, she asked me and not my child. (The others weren't there yet) Anyway, the kids had a great time. They were not a burden to anyone. They didn't run. And yet it was not good for Mrs. She came by to tell us that we had to keep the children with us, at the table. Above all, they were not supposed to walk independently. I fell off my chair in amazement. Instead of worrying about incorrect deliveries, late drinks at the table, etc., were the children no longer allowed to leave the table? There was not a smile or a good word at checkout. She slammed the cash drawer shut and that was it. Extremely rude. Not worth going there again. Too bad, because the food is great!

I don't understand the bad reviews (fortunately). Went to eat for the 2nd time today. Coincidentally, both times were on a Monday. The sushis we ordered were really delicious and the meat dishes were also very tasty. Staff was very friendly and dishes were delivered quickly. The children love the robot and I must admit that I also enjoy it when the robot delivers something. Plenty of choice for the children too. It's great that fries, chicken nuggets and frikandels can be ordered for small (and large) fussy eaters 😉 Today we found out that there is a dessert bar. I don't know if the desserts change, but the strawberry ice cream that was in the container today was really delicious.
