The caramelized waffles are prepared live, and there are various toppings available. We tried the waffle with speculaas (spiced biscuits). The waffles tasted good, but they don't justify the €15 price tag. The picture shows the largest waffle available (L). Sizes S and M cost €11 and €13, respectively. There are other shops in Amsterdam that offer these waffles for significantly less.

The staff is attentive and polite. The waffles are the famous Dutch-style caramel waffles, but they're not the best value for money. If you're in the Netherlands, you should try them hot and freshly made.

Spending €13 on a small waffle dipped in chocolate is always hard however, it’s the experience and creation of said waffle you pay for. Not a bad spot, not as busy as the one down the street is the “viral TikTok spot” so you’ll always get great service! Tasty and fresh made right there for you.

I was originally planning to visit two famous stroopwafel restaurants nearby, but I stumbled upon this one. The owner greeted me warmly. To me, the stroopwafel looked similar to other shops. Since there weren't many customers, it seemed relaxed, so I ordered the Oreo stroopwafel. When I looked up the shop information to save the place, it wasn't open yet. ㅠ I apologized and didn't realize it wasn't open yet. The owner said it was okay and that they open early on days when they prepare early👍🏻 Even though my English isn't good, he kindly explained it to me in an easy-to-understand way! I'll never forget the warm, delicious waffles and the friendly owner 💛

Beware - most likely a tourist scam due to extremely high prices. The price is 13€ for a stroop waffle with one topping. That’s a multiple of what you’d pay at other places! Interestingly, most reviews here don’t mention any price at all, and some reviews state that the price is between 1€ and 10€. This is false. It seems possible that the reviews here have been manipulated (fake reviews). The owners are very nice, but that doesn’t change the fact that you’re very likely walking into a tourist scam and vastly overpaying here.

Historic place with outrageous prices. €13 for a medium-sized piece of maybe 50g with sugar and an equally sugary topping. I'm not arguing with the typical dessert, but 1. you can find it cheaper elsewhere with the same characteristics, 2. A dessert like this, which can be defined as low-grade junk food, can't possibly cost that much compared to Italian, French, or similar desserts. P.S.: €13 is the price of a good pizza in Rome.

I found a lovely waffle place in Amsterdam, run by a gentleman and a lady who I believe are the owners. The waffles were absolutely delicious, the place was spotless and cozy, and the atmosphere was so warm. We tried several stroopwafels concept stores during our stay in Amsterdam last week. Among all of them was Van Holland clearly the best.. Nice interior, friendly owners who prepare everything by themselves and that makes a lot of difference. They make the wafels freshly. Very tasty and crispy! You can choose your favorite topping on them. A must visit in Amsterdam.

The vegan waffle was freshly prepared and delicious, but completely overpriced for the little effort involved. They came in three sizes and with various toppings. I got the medium one, which was about 12 cm (estimated) on average, and cost a whopping €10. I think that's just too much for a waffle! Especially since it tasted good, but not so outstanding that you can charge that much. You can, but you don't have to. The shop was very pretty and lovingly decorated. So if you absolutely want a vegan waffle, feel free 😊

Lovely lady made us a vegan stroopwafel and kindly explained the whole process. Four topping choices for vegans including chocolate and hazelnut, Oreo’s, dubai / pistachio and what looked like a lotus biscoff. Personally too sweet for us - if I was to have it again I’d take a plain one. Very pricey at EUR11 for a small one but if it’s your first time in Amsterdam then worth a try if you like sweet things.

Amazing stroopwafels for so many reasons. 1. The workers are super kind and amazing with allergy awareness- my kid has an egg allergy so they recommended the vegan stroopwafels of course, but after double checking that he could have milk with no problem they were happy to use the non-vegan toppings. 2. You can watch them make them and they’re last who made ours had so much skill. It was fun to see! 3. They’re delicious! 4. Again they were just super nice people who gave us such good attention and care! 5. I just don’t like to stop at four! But it’s worth saying again how delicious and fresh these were. I’d eat them way too often if I lived nearby.

Went here as its just a few steps away from the stroopwafel store that went viral in social media. To be fair, this is by far better! Less people/queue, cute interior, the stroopwafel is good (although too sweet specially if there's no nuts or saltiness added to the chocolate/biscuit). Highlight would be your staff esp. Pram as he happily showed us how to make stroopwafels "with love" (that heart candy at the end!) ❤️🥹 Ordered 2: Hazelnut and the plain Dark Choco.

There are other places on the same street where it's worth spending that much money, or where you only pay €9.50 (and you can see that the waffles are freshly made) - so I can only advise against it, these stroopwaffels are definitely not worth the money!

This place is located in the heart of the city!! The store is not too big but it’s so cozy!!!! The store is so pretty, the personal 100/10 they welcomed us with a beautiful smile! After taking our order they started to prepared our waffle, it’s so enjoyable to see how our waffle is prepared, the store was so clean, everything was so organized and so pretty! The waffle was filled with honey and we ordered dark chocolate and M&M topping the combination was so delicious not too sweet but so perfectly delicious. They took care of everything detail, I don’t usually eat sweet but this waffle was so good! By the way, I was hold my phone to film the process of waffle making the personal saw me holding my phone for a while and he told me that he would give me a sigh when it’s ready this gesture was so thoughtful!

Nice staff, but overpriced and the tins are incredibly misleading in terms of size. From the tin you’d expect full size stoopwaffles like the others in the display, but nope they’re mini. So you pay a lot more for a lot less. Very frustrating 😠
