Absolutely my favourite pizzeria in Nijmegen. Incredibly pizza Romana with thin crust, and top-quality ingredients. Good selection of wines and Italian cocktails. Very friendly staff who will go above and beyond to guarantee a lovely night.

Service was a bit slow with drinks but that may have been a one time issue. Overall very good food and we had a great time!

Prachtige zaak met de lekkerste pizza van Nijmegen. Wel reserveren is altijd druk en moeilijk om een plekje te krijgen.

We ate a 3-course menu at Renato's via social deal, so the price-quality ratio was very good. We liked the starters and desserts, the pizza was okay. As far as we are concerned, the base could have been crispier, but the base seemed undercooked and the toppings fell off as a result. The pizza taste was good! There is a nice atmosphere and the service was excellent, all in all we had a nice evening.

Divine pizza. If you plan to spend some time there, make sure to make a reservation. The host squeezed us in in between reservations which was very kind.

Paid 18.50 for a pizza that is not even half of the size of the pizza box, almost the size of my hand. For the price I feel absolutely scammed.

Lekker eten, niet duur en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Pizza’s zijn erg lekker en n niet duur in vergelijking met andere restaurants in Nijmegen.

Nothing special. Quiet some wait for the menu and afterwards for the order to be TAKEN (15 minutes or so), with the time for making food - more or less appropriate Pizza is homemade, so with a crust - as for me 4/5

The delivery person took at least 20 minutes for a 5-minute ride. He couldn't find the address. We then contacted the restaurant. We were told that we were too negative (because we were afraid our pizzas would be cold). The answer was that the problem was with Uber. Then the connection was disconnected. Uber delivery person just as helpful. His answer was: not my problem. Good service!!

Top pizzas! Can something be done with the lighting?

Tasty food, good atmosphere and service. Too expensive for the quality. The pizza with burrata only contained stratiatella (which is in the burrata) instead of a whole burrata ball. This is therefore not clearly stated on the map.

Starter was tasty. For a dish to be shared with 2 people, you expect there to be a multiple of 2 pieces of each item. Main course pizza was not bad but far from warm. In addition, the thin base of 1 of the pizzas was burnt and there was literally a hole in the pizza that was covered up with some lettuce and other topping. Last but not least, there were sufficient staff present, but little attention was paid to whether drinks were still required. The ladies were friendly but not proactive with drinks. When we finally wanted to share our experience with the waitress when paying and we ended up not leaving a tip, she walked away annoyed. Too bad because I'm sure there is more to it. Nice menu and cozy atmosphere.

Super cozy place, and the best pizzas in Nijmegen. We had to leave on time, and the service was extremely helpful and thoughtful about this. You can also pick up, but eating on site is highly recommended, because these pizzas deserve to be eaten straight from the oven.

Pizzas are very tasty. I had tiramisu for dessert and it was also very tasty! The atmosphere is cozy and the service is also very pleasant.

Definitely use the social deal, which is worth it! 20 euros for a three course meal using fresh ingredients. Only downside was the long waiting time.

Pizzas are excellent, especially the one with burrata. But the margherita pizza is also delicious. As a starter I had the grilled eggplant with tomato sauce and cheese, I think it is the most delicious eggplant I have ever eaten. Definitely recommended

Smaakvolle inrichting en vriendelijk personeel. Snelle service. Het eten was prima maar miste net wat meer smaak dat ik ken uit de Italiaanse keuken. Net iets aan de flauwe kant allemaal danwel te spaarzaam met bepaalde ingrediënten. Maar mogelijk ben ik iets te kritisch als dochter van een Italiaanse pizzabakker. Moet toegeven de pizzabodems waren wel zoals ik ze ken van mijn vader in Italie.

Delicious food! A small, cozy restaurant with an extensive menu. If you sit outside you can hear the traffic around you, but not annoyingly. We will definitely come back!

The pizzas are delicious! Just ask if they bake the ham, otherwise they throw it on cold afterwards (strange). Service is poor and unfriendly, you only get 1 drink and after that they don't ask if you want anything else. I've been there before and this was the case every time. You're better off getting pizzas to take away.

From the terrace at Renato's Pizzeria we had a beautiful view of the lovely facades on the Graafseweg. There were a lot of staff working, and the service was therefore fast and friendly. We each ordered our own pizza, for me the parma & burrata, and across the street the burrata & pesto, but while waiting we noticed that the many other tables were sharing pizzas and appetizers. The latter looked excellent. However, you won't hear me complaining, because the pizza was also very good, and the softness of the burrata went very well with the salty ham. It's a bit of a shame that the burrata was not served in its entirety in the middle of the pizza, so that you can cut it open yourself (that always adds an extra dimension, I think). The tiramisu at the end was tasty and nicely presented with a silhouette of a fork and spoon in the cocoa. I didn't need the vanilla sauce on top, because it didn't add value to the traditional taste of the dessert.

Een hele aantrekkelijke aanbieding van Social deal voor het eten zoals we dat kennen van Renato's. Deze keer was de kwaliteit echt een stuk minder. Heel jammer. De burrata smaakte nergens naar. De pizza quatro fromaggio had geen vier kazen maar leek belegd met een beetje tomatensaus en parmezaan en nog een kaas. Heel kaal en niet zoals het hoort. Op de pizza waar truffelolie oo zou moeten zitten was die niet te proeven. En de bodems van de pizza's waren niet zo luchtig als we ze kennen. De tiramisu leek weggesmolten op het bord. De drie porties waren zo verschillend van grootte dat dit ook raar was. Het was niet zo netjes verzorgd zoals eerder. Wij hadden het gezellig met elkaar maar Renato's is niet meer wat het was.

Delicious food, nice place to sit outside

Heerlijk gegeten, alles is vers. Leuke plaats net buiten het centrum maar zeker op loopafstand, vriendelijk personeel.

Been to this restaurant several times. The setting and atmosphere are beautiful. Friendly service, although there was also a waiter who unfortunately did not speak Dutch (how difficult is it to learn the three sentences you need to take orders in Dutch?). Contrary to previous experiences, the pizza was disappointing. The quality of the ingredients and the taste adjustment was very good. But the dough left much to be desired: clearly overbaked, making the pizza difficult to cut. For a pizza in this price category that is really not possible - and we were with Italians who said that something like this could not be served in Italy. The tiramisu is too expensive for the portion offered. Maybe we were unlucky. All in all somewhat disappointing compared to previous experiences.

Management not communicative. Waited over an hour for a pizza and ended up leaving with an empty stomach. I wonder how that will work if it is full. Downright scandalous

When you walk in and it's packed you know you are in for a treat, there was 7 of us and the staff rearranged the tables and squeezed us in, the service was good the food did take a little more time than expected to arrive however that was totally understandable due to how busy it was, when the pizza did arrive it was definitely worth the wait, it was bloody delicious 👍

Cozy pizzeria, with tasty food and friendly staff

Had dinner here recently with some friends after finishing a half marathon. So very hungry and it's a good thing we came here. Pizzas were delicious! And also nice and big, not often that I eat such a good pizza, compliments! Furthermore, the service was also excellent, it's just a pity that not all the staff speak Dutch, but we don't make a fuss about that! Furthermore, the food was quite pricey, but that is not surprising with such quality! Highly recommended!

Tasty pizzas Focaccia was tasty (especially the pesto mayonnaise) but I wouldn't actually call it focaccia. Price a bit too high for the quality. Pizzas are tasty but not fantastic. Focaccia could be a bit bigger. Service was friendly but slow, especially in the beginning, there was a long wait while there were plenty of staff hanging around the bar.

What a good Italian Nijmegen has! Delicious, no-fuss dishes with love for the ingredients and beautiful presentation. Renato has great service, a nice space and all in all it is also a convenient place in the city to meet so close to the station and the center. We will definitely come back! Even if it was just to continue cuddling with the cat that was sleeping on the couch with us😍

Delicious pizzas, great service in a nice place (formerly 'the meeting').

The pizza dough was very dry, burnt in some places, it was impossible to cut it. Napoli pizza is incredibly salty, it is impossible to eat. The waitress said that capers, olives and anchovies are fine here, but it's not fine because my son had Margarita and it was also extremely salty. At first we wanted to order more desserts, but after the pizza we decided that we shouldn't try it here. The service is good, the atmosphere is okay, but it is very stuffy and there were flies

We had a pleasant diner last evening at Renato’s. We ordered 3-course menu and everyone was full in the end. Quality of the food, atmosphere and the communication of the staff was great. We will definitely add it to our “dine-out” list. We would only recommend that they informed guests there are 2 types of tap water: paid and free of charge. Handy information! After all, a well remembered dining experience.

Update 2024: Friendly service, you feel very welcome (greeted with buonesera) and at ease. Nice plate with the monthly pizza on it. Bruschetta was excellent, pizzas were also incredibly tasty. But that tiramisu...words fail. Fantastic flavor balance, velvety texture and SO DELICIOUS! If you think I'm exaggerating, try it yourself. Would like to see more of Renato's here, very satisfied!

Very nice restaurant and very delicious

The restaurant is really nice, nice decorations and atmosphere, very close (5min walking) to the central station and the city centre. The menu has some starters, pizzas, very limited main courses, and a few deserts, and I think pizza is their main item. We tried 2 starters (tasty but the portions were a bit small) and 4 different pizzas. Everything was tasty and in general I would suggest this to someone in the future.

The pizzas were of perfect quality, delicious taste and well eaten.

Nice place and nice staff, but the food was nothing to write home about. We ran out of several things we wanted to order, so we had to choose a pizza that was not our preference, and once we got our pizzas, they were lukewarm and cold before we could eat them. The options for the starters and desserts were not very special and also quite expensive, so we did not take any of them. I rarely give such a low rating, but this was simply one of the worst restaurant experiences I can remember.

Had a delicious meal at Renato's! The pizza was crispy and perfectly topped. And for desserts you've come to the right place. The tiramisu is especially recommended! We will definitely come back someday.

Dogs are allowed! Very cooperative and friendly staff. Only the bresola pizza was missing on the menu. That should come back to me. The base of the pizza was great and the pizza itself was also recommended!

Not many expectations for Christmas Eve with a pizza…. But it was so fun and delicious! Enjoyed the friendly staff, who really made it something fun and enjoyable!

Really good food and nice people. They go out of their way to accomodate for allergies. Would definately reccomend this to anyone. The restaurant is prone to getting quite loud though.

The pizza is ok...But not good value for money

Unfortunately we were very disappointed today. Food has changed a lot since the new menu. Before it was really great! But today, unfortunately, a pure disappointment. The toppings on the pizza were a joke. We always drove over an hour from Germany to eat pizza there. Unfortunately we won't be doing that in the future :( it's not worth the trip.

Warm and hospitable, excellent pizza and tiramisu, lots of choice. Just pay attention to a few details and it will be fantastic(!). Within walking distance of parking garage and theater, practical.

The food was delicious, both the pizzas, the desserts and the coffee! The service was friendly and attentive. Chairs are not really comfortable. The acoustics of the large hollow space are really annoying, it is difficult to hear each other even though there were three of us sitting at a small table. Still a reason not to come back anytime soon, which is a shame. Tip for the owner: there is also a nice way to work with sound-absorbing materials in the interior.

Gereserveerd vooraf. Eenmaal binnen leuke tafel. Helaas mist het de authentieke Italiaanse gastvrijheid. Ja, er is Italiaanse muziek, maar dat is het dan ook. De serveerster voelde niet aan, dat ik nog niet zover was, maar pushte om te bestellen. ( het was 17.20u de zaak was nog niet halfvol) we touwtrekden al over het kindergerecht waar twee soorten pasta’s staan; 1 met rode saus en 1 met witte. Ze ging er meteen vanuit dat het de rode was. Na twee keer zeggen dat het de rode moest zijn, bleef ze volhouden dat die altijd besteld wordt. Ze luisterde niet, dat ik als klant zeg: die met tomaat, die moet het zijn. U vermeldt er twee, dus ik ben duidelijk welke we willen. ( van binnen dacht ik; hoe in hemelsnaam denkt die serveerster een aanname te doen?!? En dan nog zo ongepast eigenwijs?! ) vervolgens vraagt ze welke pizza ik wil? Ik wil geen pizza zeg ik, en ook geen pasta. ( OMG, wat een vreselijke manier van je klant te woord staan) zwaar geïrriteerd bestel ik een Caprèse wat geen caprèse is! Tomaat, basilicum en balsamico… ik bestel mozzarella los. Dat kostte me 3,- of 3,50 extra voor een buffelmozzarella als je de bon moet geloven, maar dit was de allergoedkoopste simpele koe melk mozzarella die men op de markt heeft, dus voor een zeer matige caprèse voor te veel geld. Dan de kindergerechten: 9,95 per bord, reuze rigatoni met te weinig saus. Toen we als drinken water bestelden reageerde ze ook nog eens raar. Ik was er helemaal klaar mee. Het is dat de kinderen moesten eten, anders was ik vertrokken. Ze pretenderen zo Italiaans te zijn en we zijn afgegaan op de reviews maar ik vind dit een restaurant fuik. Niets authentieks aan. De afruim medewerker spreekt Engels en lijkt niet helemaal in orde te zijn. De wc’s zijn boven op een smalle trap met kinderen en ineens laag plafond met op diezelfde trap bedienend personeel met grote hete borden dat af en aan loopt om ook boven (?) te serveren. Dit is niet mijn tent en ik kom er niet meer. De gastheer heeft ons ontvangen maar bij afrekenen deed hij niet z’n best om door te vragen toen hij vroeg was het allemaal in orde, toen zei ik nee, dat was het niet. Hij zei niets. Tja, beste mensen, het is niet de moeite waard. Mijn man vond zijn pizza ok, maar niet de moeite waard. Het zal vast voor veel mensen fantastisch zijn, maar de volgende keer kiezen we een authentiek Italiaans restaurant uit, met warme service en een eerlijke kaart. Veel succes Renato’s als jullie succes willen hebben en houden zullen jullie een bepaalde houding aan moeten passen en moeten luisteren naar jullie klanten. Nu gaat het goed maar er komt een tijd dat het niet zo is.

Good pizzeria. Fresh decor. Enthusiastic and motivated staff. Nice terrace on the street side. Even though the number of tables is manageable, the kitchen can be quite busy. This is because many pick-up orders are being processed.
