The pizza you get is not filling; I could easily have eaten two more, and they were small with very little topping.

We had pizza tonight with my wife and our 2 children (6 and 2). Waiters were very efficient and nice (also with kids who had pizza dough to knead while we wait). Short waiting and the food was very good.

I've traveled to many places around the world and I've enjoyed my fair share of good pizzas. These pizzas were among the best - great choice of pizzas, delicious crust and fresh & flavourful ingredients. The service was also great - kind & welcoming. Will go again when I'm back in Nijmegen.

We had a delicious meal! Three-course menu with a snack platter to start, a pizza of your choice, and tiramisu for dessert. The perfect portion size if you have a hearty appetite. The service was very friendly, and we didn't have to wait long for the food and drinks.

The food is prepared with care. The service is friendly. The owner was also there and does his best to give visitors a good restaurant experience. Definitely recommended.

I ate here with my girlfriend, who had eaten at the Pizzabakkers before and spoke highly of the food. My girlfriend and I were therefore surprised by the somewhat disappointing food; not because it wasn't fresh—you can taste that immediately—but the pizza I had wasn't very tasty. My girlfriend liked her pizza, but found it a bit meager in terms of ingredients and much less than she was used to from the Pizzabakkers. All in all, not a bad restaurant, but unfortunately, it just didn't meet expectations.

Today, after quite a few years, I ate at Pizzabakkers Nijmegen again. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated significantly. The staff were clearly inexperienced and lacked insight, and there was an extremely long wait for drinks even when it wasn't busy. They seemed to have very little enthusiasm. The pizzas were of average quality.

Very friendly, quick service, pizzas arrived quickly and the spinach was delicious too! We shared a lot and that worked out perfectly 😊 with room left for a lovely dessert - a generous portion of tiramisu

Pizza dough was below average, too much spinach on the pizza which made it soggy, added random seeds I did not order but the tomato sauce was okay. Overpriced considering the pizza was not that nice and not authentic.

I ate delicious pizzas just last year, but I don't know what happened. The pizza base is soggy and limp, there is way too much tomato sauce, and on the other pizza, way too much bell pepper cream sauce. The spinach was bland and the toppings on the pepperoni da noi didn't taste good.

Nice restaurant, friendly owner, and delicious pizza. It was a real treat to eat here with a bachelor party! See you next time.

It was packed, but waiting 1.5 hours for your pizza is a bit long (unfortunately at all tables). Too little staff to handle the crowds and the kitchen couldn't keep up with orders (restaurant, delivery service, and takeout). Advice: either fewer tables during peak hours or extra staff in the kitchen. Visited 3 times and unfortunately little improvement, won't be going there again.

We had a great meal tonight. The pizza was delicious, and the waiter was very friendly. There are also quite a few vegan options on the menu. They just need a vegan dessert option.

Super chill ambient vibes Super chill and relaxed staff whit good communication with eachoter the cappuccino is a little on the bitterside but its still pretty good i got this on too good to go to take my partner out on a date and it went perfect waiting times are not that long and the food is freshly baked you can watch it happen since the kitchen is open and the pizzas where really good bonus points if you do half half whit the other person The homemade lemonade was super good and a perfect mix of flavours overall a super great experience I will definitely come back here

We ate at De Pizzabakkers with a large group and it was a wonderful experience. The communication beforehand was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy, and the pizzas were delicious with a thin crust (which is a must-have). We also enjoyed some delicious wine! The service was truly outstanding: super attentive and very accommodating.

Tasty pizza with fresh ingredients! In comparison with other pizza restaurant in the center of Nijmegen, here is the good one. They tried to make it as Italian way! Staffs were very caring and friendly. Update: I changed my 4 stars review to 1 star based on our last visit. The pizzas were so cold and without any taste! Their chef was a teenager!!!! and hygiene standard was awful. We sat near the kitchen and I saw everything that I need to change my review immediately. He made pizza without gloves and hygiene hat. The worst thing was that he cleaned all stuff + garbage can with a towel that he cleaned the cooking table! Zero percent hygiene! The service was also not good. The girl came just once to ask for more drinks. Never come back, disappointed!

There was a hair in our pizza. No apologies were made when I got the bill, and when I made a comment about it I was offered a frisbee??? -- EDIT To respond to the comment: we visited your restaurant in August, when you had a park + frisbee campaign running.

The service was very slow, the pizzas arrived very late and very cold. No attention to service, no time management in the kitchen. An overrated restaurant and overrated quality.

Nicely recieved at arrival. Very nice manager man, and international friendly. The environment is grey, a bit bland, lighting could be better. They have real candles, and basil plants on the tables. Pizza took average time to arrive. They have creative combinations of ingredients in their pizzas. Both "Funghi & Pancetta" and " 'nduja & Gorgonzola" were both amazing.

Just now, after waiting blissfully for over 75 minutes for our pizzas, I received six ice-cold pizzas. Or rather, "pizzas": more like flatbread with tomato sauce, two pieces of pepperoni, and a random anise, because true carnivores eat anise instead of meat. If the wafer-thin pizzas were dissected in a laboratory, the results would show less than 1% cheese. As a true Italian, I find this far from authentic. I consider it a waste of money and definitely not recommended. I'll be ordering my pizzas elsewhere. My country would find this utterly scandalous. Yuck.

Learned nothing after the restart. The kitchen can't handle the crowds, and the owner thinks he can get away with it with a high-school-style service. The pizzas are delicious, sure, but not worth the 40-minute wait in the restaurant for takeout.

Don't order these pizzas! Ordered through Thuisbezorgd at 5:27 PM, expected delivery time: 40-60 minutes. After 70 minutes, still no pizzas. I called, and it turned out the order hadn't arrived at Pizzabakkers until 6:21 PM. The pizza wasn't delivered until 7:37 PM, after waiting over two hours. Cold, and one pizza had a black edge. Why do you still deliver when the relationship with Thuisbezorgd is so poor and you can't meet expectations?

Buona Sera Pizzabakkers & Thuisbezorgd, if you decide to order a pizza for the quality, but the system doesn't meet these requirements, why offer this option? I've regularly ordered pizza from Pizzabakkers and I've never been disappointed with the quality, but I have been disappointed with the expectation of when I can eat it. I believe the partnership between Thuisbezorgd and Pizzabakkers isn't a happy marriage. We've currently been waiting two hours for two pizzas, while Thuisbezorgd suggests it will take 40 to 60 minutes. No one takes responsibility, and the bottom line is that it's better to go to the restaurant 💥🍕

Pizza is so thin and soft, doesn't taste good.

I placed an order through their website with a pickup time. I had to wait over 30 minutes there, and the order was ultimately incorrect. It wasn't busy, so that can't be the problem. Furthermore, the staff was disinterested and unprofessional. Very dissatisfied overall.

We just had two pizzas. They were well prepared, interesting flavour combinations and we really enjoyed the dough base. Staff were reasonably friendly, prices also reasonable. Elderflower drink was really nice.

Ordered a pizza. The vegetarian version of a standard pizza. It came with meat. When I called the pizza makers about it, they immediately told me it wasn't their problem and that I should just call Thuiszorg for a refund. Fine, I don't eat anyway... Did the delivery driver put meat on it while cycling? I understand you don't have your own delivery staff, but could you at least consider a solution? I could have picked it up if you had put a new pizza in the oven. But no, I was immediately cut off and told to contact the company that wasn't at fault. That was you. Great service!

Absurdly poor customer service. After calling about a time change, which they refused to accommodate, we ended up reheating our pizza later in the evening since we weren't home yet. Then we realized we'd received the completely wrong pizza (with meat, even though I'm vegetarian). We called about it, and they didn't even offer an apology. "Just file a complaint with Thuisbezorgd." As far as these ridiculously expensive pizzas go, they could use a little more customer service.

Seriously great pizza, but waiting an hour and a half for our order—which was 30 minutes over the stated delivery time—is absolutely unacceptable on a Wednesday evening! Our address is a 5-minute bike ride from this location. Next time, I'd pick it up myself. It's a shame, and perhaps a one-time hiccup.

My favorite pizzeria in Nijmegen for years! Delicious, no-nonsense pizza, that's the best! The pizzas are best when eaten fresh in the restaurant, but we often order takeout, and that's also delicious.

I almost always eat pizza bakers when I go to Amsterdam, Utrecht, or Nijmegen. I really like it.

Delicious pizzas, our favorite restaurant in Nijmegen! The staff is always very friendly, and the owner usually comes by for a chat. We also regularly pick up pizza to eat in the park or along the Waal River. It's one of the few places in Nijmegen where you can enjoy truly delicious Italian pizza.

We love ordering our Trentina pizzas; we think they're fantastic 😋. This time, we started with homemade limoncello spritz and bruschetta. And to finish, the tiramisu—what more could you ask for?! Absolutely recommended in Nijmegen, so delicious! 😃👌

We ordered four pizzas via Thuisbezorgd. Unfortunately, one of the pizzas turned out to be incorrect with our order. It had salami on it, while this was not the intention. That can happen, of course, but the way it was handled was very disappointing. When we called, the error was completely blamed on Thuisbezorgd. No effort was made to come up with a solution themselves. As a result, we had to share a pizza, because I can't stand salami. We eventually got our money back via Thuisbezorgd. But if the restaurant had simply sent a delivery person with the correct pizza, it would have gone from one to four stars for me. Unfortunately, the service really let us down.

This pizzeria is seriously overrated, or people here simply don't know what good pizza should taste like. They charge a premium for very little in return. The dough is tough, and the amount of toppings is disappointing considering the price. Ultimately, the main issue is the poor value for money. For over €17, they should be offering a much better product.

On a Thursday afternoon, it was not busy on the terrace and nobody was inside, had to wait more than an hour. For two pizzas! While waiting you saw dozens of boxes with pizzas leaving the door with couriers. This is not a restaurant but an order service. I have no idea if the pizza is good because after waiting so long we went to eat somewhere else. Staff could not think of anything either, worthless. Imagine working there, I thought.

Pizza as it should be, with a twist of its own. Friendly staff, very helpful. There was a fantastic beer on tap, locally brewed I think. Tasted like more of course.

Very long wait. Made a reservation but after an hour and fifteen minutes still no pizza. And it's not even busy. An hour with 1 drink is not service in my opinion. If it takes longer for whatever reason, good communication is nice. Unfortunately a bad experience

Pizza is not to eat, asked for TOMATO, mozzarella pizza I got and dough with pesto! And mozzarella and that for 17.60 euros?!

You can bend cardboard Unfortunately not this pizza. Unfortunately, the staff could not help us after asking twice, the pizza did not go back to the kitchen. The inexperienced staff was nice, but they just got the full bill for a pizza that was half fossilized. Next time I'll go to Aldi

Ate here twice. Great food and service, just be prepared that the drink options are all Italian, so no Coca Cola or Pepsi.

Via Uber eats 2 pizza's besteld bij Pizzabakkers Nijmegen twv € 42,72 en deze werden koud geleverd door Uber eats. Pizzabakkers Nijmegen geven de schuld aan Uber en bij Uber is het onmogelijk om een klacht in te dienen. En bij Pizzabakkers kun je ook geen review plaatsen. Waardeloos. Ga daar nooit meer bestellen en met Uber wil ik ook niets meer te maken hebben

After reception, we were placed at a table close to the kitchen, where we could follow everything well, .... what we immediately noticed was that on the kitchen counter close to our table there were several containers of food, including mozzarella, containers were not covered at all, and apparently no one saw that, because they just stood there, even saw a fly land on the mozzarella several times, that was our first time that we had to swallow .... we had already noticed that there was also a young guest walking back and forth a bit awkwardly, with a pockmarked face (unfortunately he can't do anything about it, I know), and yet fairly long hair, it was clearly his first day, and he regularly received explanations and instructions from the chef....I didn't really find it appetizing to see him busy topping my pizza,....and certainly not with his bare hands....the place is very nicely decorated, and normally I think it is very nice to see the oven and to see the pizza maker at work, but what I saw on Friday, I would rather not have seen, I understand very well that people need to be trained, but do that after hours, and not with a full shop, and with a headband /net and gloves,....and keep the countertop tidy, and also purchase containers with lids, so in terms of hygiene some efforts need to be made, regards Peter and Cécile

We werden na ontvangst aan een tafeltje gezet vlak tegen de keuken ,waar we dus alles goed konden volgen , ....wat ons direct opviel was dat er op het aanrecht van de keuken vlak tegen onze tafel enkele bakjes met voedsel stonden oa mozzarella ,bakjes waren helemaal niet afgedekt ,en blijkbaar zag niemand dat,want ze bleven gewoon staan ,zelfs en kle malen vlieg op de mozzarella zien landen , dat was onze eerste keer dat we even moesten slikken ....we hadden ook al opgemerkt dat er een ook een jonge gast wat onwennig heen en weer liep ,pokdalig gezicht( kan hij jammer genoeg niks aan doen ,weet ik),en toch redelijk lang haar , was duidelijk zijn eerste dag , en hij kreeg regelmatig uitleg en instructies van de chef....ik vond het niet echt apetijtelijk hem bezig te zien mijn pizza zag te beleggen ,.... en al zeker niet met blote handen ....de zaak is heel gezellig ingericht ,en normaal gezien vind ik het heel leuk om de oven te zien en de pizzabakker aan het werk te zien ,maar wat ik vrijdag heb gezien ,had ik liever niet gezien , ik snap heel goed dat er mensen moeten worden opgeleid ,maar doe dat ff na de uren ,en niet met een volle zaak ,en met haarband/net en handschoenen ,....en aanrecht netjes houden,en ook bakjes met deksels aankopen ,dus qua hygiene moeten er wel enkele tandjes worden bijgestoken ,gr Peter en Cécile

I would never order pizza here. We ordered 8 pizzas on a Friday evening to pick up at 7 p.m. The restaurant was full and there were several delivery people waiting. I had to wait 45 minutes for the pizzas, and when we got home we also found that we had received 1 wrong pizza (salami instead of vegetarian). We kept apologizing that it would take 15 minutes longer, but the kitchen clearly could not handle the number of pizzas. Then don't accept so many orders in one evening!

Well-known formula that bakes delicious pizzas with fresh ingredients. This makes it quite pricey for a pizzeria. After trying it twice, it turns out that pick-up is not recommended. Pizzas are only made when you think you can take them with you.

Very tasty pizzas for a great price. These pizzas are very good both in the restaurant and to take away! The restaurant is quite cramped, so there is no room for a romantic date. Definitely recommended and I will come back here often!

Heel vriendelijke bediening.👍 er is ook een buiten terras. Erg gezellig zicht op de stad. Het is een feestje om daar met je gezin te eten. Kinderen krijgen pizza deeg om mee te kleien waar na deze figuren worden gebakken en meegenomen kunnen worden.

Totally ridiculous how these 2 pizzas arrived: crumpled and clumped together. Anyone who knows even a little bit about baking and delivering pizzas should know first of all that you shouldn't pre-cut them. Taste-wise, it wasn't exactly great either. It was mainly tomato sauce that you tasted. Really scandalous, also considering the costs. ...wait a minute.... "Scandalous" is still too light a term Total scam!!!!!!!! ...that comes somewhat close.... It's that you have to give another star for posting this, a negative number of ****** would be more appropriate.

Never had such a bad pizza. The pizzas were soggy, you couldn't grip the slices normally, everything fell off like one pudding. After living in Italy for 10 years, I can say that these pizzas really shouldn't be called pizza! We also had to pay €45 for 2 drinks and 2 pizzas. They should be ashamed. We will never go here again.

Me and my boyfriend came for dinner and tried two pizzas (Gialla and Campagnola) both great though the first needed some extra flavour which we solved by adding some spice olive oil. The crust dippers are amazing specially their pesto. I love the concept that they don’t serve your typical coca-cola and only Italian drinks, wines and such! We finished off with the affogatto which was amazing, something so simple that very few Italian places have, and also the tiramisu which was delicious but lacked a stronger coffee flavour There are great vegan options as well! I am definitely going back!

Overall a good experience, however something seems off with the dough as before having even eaten half of the pizza the bottom had turned into a cracker (without being burned on the bottom). Not sure if they use sourdough, but it was far from ideal. The espresso martini panna cotta (which mixes the two) should not be ordered.

In response to your questions on the previous review: 1. There was definitely not even 50% of the pizza eaten. We also pointed this out to the waitress , all she said the whole time was: pay the money now. 2. the food was cold from the beginning. This had nothing to do because we were sitting outside. 3. The only reason why some of the pizza was eaten was because the "bread" was eaten on the edge, but not the cold topping in the middle. - btw that's exactly what we told and showed the waitress three times. 4. We asked several times for a discount because 75% of the pizza (except for a bit of the edge) was NOT EATEN. I even asked if 10€ was okay (instead of 14€) we didn't even ask to get it for free!!! 5. ⁠yes she also told us „ you ate more than 50% but this was definitely not true, - idc what u all are saying this was not true. It wasn’t. 6. Yes, the cheapest product on the menu, a mini water 0.2l, was refunded - otherwise they were unable to compromise and were very stubborn. All she said was „ pay now „ no we can’t do anything sorry you didn’t like it but pay now „

Pizza tasted and looked like dog food . Not fresh and cold and hair on it. The waitress asked us if the pizza was good, we said no and they didn’t give us a discount even thought I only ate 1/4 of it.

We vonden de Pizza's erg slecht . De afgelopen keren waren ze heerlijk , maar nu gewoon slecht. We vroegen voor onze kleindochter een kopje opgeschuimde melk en daar vroegen ze €3 voor , dat vonden we wel wat veel !

Al 2 keer pizza's besteld om af te halen. Op de site kun je netjes aangeven hoelaat je de pizza komt afhalen maar het is nooit op tijd klaar. We hebben beide keren binnen minstens 20 minuten staan wachten op onze pizza's. Wij bestellen hier niet meer..

Pizza in alle andere pizzeria's in Nijmegen vinden wij lekkerder, kwamen hier vooral omdat we dachten dat de wijnkaart hier beter is. Helaas veel wijn per glas niet op voorraad. Bediening is wel top. Pizza was bijna koud en met teveel tomatensaus.

Se olvidaron de pasar nuestro pedido a la cocina. Larga espera para comer unas pizzas.
