We casually had a dinner in this restaurant because we did not know where to go during our week end in Amsterdam. The food and service were excellent! Especially Ilaria, who looked after us throughout the evening and made us feel right at home!

I often eat here with my father-in-law, who is Italian. The waitress, Ilaria, is super friendly and always chats with my father-in-law. And Ilaria makes a delicious Aparol Spritz. We'll definitely be back. Grazia, Ilaria❤️

We had a wonderful dinner at Renato’s. The place was full and buzzing with a warm, lively atmosphere, yet the service was exceptional from start to finish. We ordered a variety of pizzas — all delicious, with mine having just the right spicy kick. I started with the burrata, which was fresh and creamy, and ended with a perfectly balanced tiramisu. The drinks were excellent as well. A special mention goes to the lady who took our order — she impressed me greatly by remembering all of our dishes without writing anything down, and she did it with a friendly, attentive manner that made us feel truly welcome. Everything — from the food and drinks to the atmosphere and the seamless service — was spot on. Absolutely and wholeheartedly recommended!

We were served by ilaria and Stef. I loved them, the energy was amazing! They were very kind to us, and we hope to see them again! 5 stars for ilaria and Stef!!!!

The pizzas and first course were tasty. But the wait time was way too crazy. We made our reservation around 6, and only got our pizzas two and a half hours later… Staff was friendly and attentive. But the wait was way too long.

A good italian food is Renato's. You can have italian pizzas alongside the pasta & starters. Highly recommended. Do visit people

Homesickness sometimes makes itself felt when you are far away, but at Renato it disappears in a flash. An explosion of Mediterranean flavors, combined with the house specialties and above all the welcome and professionalism of Ilaria, made the lunch perfect. 10/10 recommended!

We arrived for two draft beers. Several people arrived after us, and everyone was served, whether food or drinks, and almost finished. We waited over 35 minutes. After seeing several draft beers being sent to tables that arrived after us, we decided to leave. Very disappointed.

A taste from home in one of amsterdam’s most charming neighborhoods, away from the center’s bustle, but close enough to the station. The staff is incredibly nice and the parmigiana (along with an aperol spritz) is to die for!

Very friendly service. Excellent pizzas. And it's great that gluten-free pizzas are available. We sat on the terrace in the sun, watching all the people passing by in this pleasant street. It's also great that you can reserve a table on the terrace online!

We were looking for a place to have dinner in this area if Amsterdam and Ranato's delivered a positive dining experience. The soda options were ok, but the pizzas were very good quality. A good option for this part of Amsterdam.

Fab pizza restaurant which was recommended by The July Boat House Hotel. This was our first night and perfect for a quick dinner, pizza was delicious and we took home the leftovers!

The first pizza calzone was cold inside. The second one to compensate without taste.... Not recommended

One of our pizzas was tasty but mine had too many olives with olive oil sprinkled over the tuna. As a result, I could no longer taste the tuna properly. Too bad. Nowadays it is possible that the waitress walks around in tight leggings with a T-shirt that is too short. Or did she just come from the gym to help?🤔

Had dinner and drinks there with friends. Started with a drinks board. This was extensive and wonderfully fresh. Then ordered pizzas. This one was also eaten down to the last crumb.. deliciously crispy and richly topped. The service was very friendly and kept our glasses well filled. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Super tasty food! A board for 2 people in advance. Enjoyed it immensely with simple but very tasty products. Then both have a pizza. Tasty thin base, tasty and soft flavors and a delicious crust. The service is enthusiastic, fast and extremely friendly! In short, we will definitely come back here more often.

Ordered 2 pizzas yesterday via Uber eats at 8:40 PM. Delivery time was estimated at 20 minutes. Notification in the app that the pizza was ready at 9:06 PM and a courier was being sought. Called at 9:30 PM, pizza was ready but the courier was not there yet. Asked if the pizza would be tough or cold. Yes; but for that we had to go to Uber... For that reason no new pizza was made. The pizza was delivered at 10:15 PM. Cold and hard. Just cut off the crusts. Taste was otherwise good. I understand that you are not responsible for Uber, but you choose to do business with that party. And if things go wrong and there is no 'sorry' or 'what a shame'... Strange way of doing business. Next time, order elsewhere.

The tastiest Italian in the wood harbors and surrounding areas. Nice atmosphere and always delicious food, don't forget to have a drink at the bar.

What a great evening at Renato's! From the moment we walked in, we felt incredibly welcome. The service was not only very pleasant and friendly, but also well informed about all the dishes. They really thought along with us and knew exactly what they were serving – a big plus! Our children ate their fingers; it was really a treat to see how they enjoyed the food. And for the adults? With such a delicious dinner you really shouldn't miss the Valpolicella Ripasso - a perfect match with the dishes. As icing on the cake, the homemade tiramisu was truly delicious, a perfect end to a fantastic evening. Kim and Thomas, thank you very much for your hospitality and the warm welcome. You deserve a big ten and we would love to come back to enjoy all the goodies with you and the team! 🌟

We've had a group dinner here with 20+ people and enjoyed the separate room. The staff was kind and on point, and the food was great. Would 100% recommend!

I don't think it's very atmospheric inside, the lights are quite bright and the service is understaffed, so they come to your table in quite a hurry. For the dining experience I would go somewhere else next time, but the pizza tastes great. Mine was served quite cold and I was not asked whether everything was to my liking or whether it tasted good.

Possibly the worst takeaway lasagna ever. Dough undercooked. Also tasteless. It should contain truffle, which is usually too overpowering, but that was now nowhere to be seen. It was a small portion by the way, but we still threw some away out of disappointment. It was also not warm (after cycling home for 2 minutes). The most positive thing I can report is the cardboard packaging instead of plastic. The service (as far as you can speak of that at takeaway) was a friendly duck face, but it would have been more appropriate in a fashion store or perfumery. There was no music while waiting in the restaurant (with 4 guests), I found it lacking in atmosphere. Well, I'll never go there again.

Went here with a couple of colleagues. The pizzas tasted very good and the ingredients were nice and fresh. I also tasted a salami pizza from a coworker but that one was a little too oily for my taste. The service was great and the restaurant had a nice cozy atmosphere. I would recommend Renato’s and I would come back again. 🍕

I ate here yesterday before going to a comedy show. The food was decent, but the service was very slow, and it wasn't the server's fault. Whoever manages the staffing needs a serious reality check. There was one girl serving over 10 tables by herself outside, completely drenched and working incredibly hard. I felt so bad for her. If you want to keep your employees happy, make sure you have enough staff to handle the workload.
