It's been a favorite of mine for a while, and since my celiac diagnosis, which requires me to eat gluten-free, 't Hoekske continues to make it possible for me to eat delicious and safe food! They have a wide selection of gluten-free snacks, all without cross-contamination! Highly recommended.

The service was very friendly. Everything was clean. The fries were also good. However, the burgers were very disappointing. There were five of us, so we ordered different burgers. The menu says "burger from the plate," made with Hereford beef. Well, I expected beef then. But the burger was anything but beef. It looked like a pre-made burger that they probably reheated on a plate. Terrible. The toppings and the bun were good, but the burger itself, no.

The food was fine. Not a great atmosphere. It's in a great location, though.

Craving a hearty "uitsmijter"? Then the farmer's "uitsmijter" here is the perfect solution! When we say generously topped, this is what we mean. A worthy dinner with a generous helping of bacon, mushrooms, onions, and bell pepper. The salad is a bit smaller but reasonably varied and more than sufficient for an already substantial portion. The "uitsmijter" itself wasn't bad either, although the egg yolk could have been a tad runnier. The bacon makes it a bit saltier than a typical "uitsmijter," so a drink is highly recommended. I order 2 shaslick. Do I have to pay 18 euros. Mistake? No way. The lady tells me that their shaslick is much better than the normal one, namely fried pork tenderloin. Yes, but I just want shaslick. The lady doesn't have it. Can I get 1 such great shaslick, is that enough for 2 people (because they charge a lot of money for it, I assume there is enough in such a container). Yes, of course, more than enough. Well, go ahead then. When I get home I feel really cheated. Not even 250 grams of dry and tough meat. I called anyway. What an arrogant, nasty lady, ugh. All her customers were satisfied with it (apparently I am not a customer), I shouldn't complain. That was the message in short. I really wonder where all those stars come from in the reviews. She doesn't get any from me.

Everything was fine, friendly staff, also towards other guests. The only point is that you have to wait quite a long time for your food.

The food was not great, the burger meat did not taste like meat. The fries were your standard frozen fries. The service was ok, we had like three different servers and only one that seemed to care about working there.

Upon arrival, I was greeted unfriendly by one of the employees. Sit down in the lunchroom and you get a mediocre quality sandwich on a plain cardboard. This is very poor in terms of friendliness and quality.

Ordered food for €51 with a colleague and ate it on the spot. Wrong sauce for main course, forgot to drink, shawarma cold and tough. Pineapple and apple?! on the schnitzel. The fries were perfect. The case looks very nice! But we left with a strange and empty feeling and very empty wallets.

Bought a simple Kapsalon chicken döner, received it at home upon opening without cheese and garlic sauce. After calling, treated like I was joking, and not taken seriously at all. Would not recommend ordering here.

Good tent. Good food and not terribly expensive

Hair salon was disappointing. Lukewarm fried chicken, limp lettuce and 1 bag of garlic sauce. And that for 11 euros. The pulled pork had the texture and taste of an old sponge. What a drama this tent. This could really be better and especially for these prices.

If you give an incorrect order, it comes back from outside and you will receive this shortly. Remake at the back of the line? Nvwa notification made.

There is little to complain about, just like at a regular snack bar, you order individual dishes here. All this is collected on 1 plate, which means the amount of fries is on the low side. The burger had little taste in terms of taste and was very simple. For €7,- I expected more. Nicely decorated inside and good service.

Very tasty sandwich. You can really taste fresh and homemade products. The downside was the fact that I asked for fresh orange juice and was told that they had it. But unfortunately I got orange juice from a bottle.

If you want mayo with your fries, you pay €0.80 extra. Then you get so little mayo in the container that you hardly dare dip your fries in it. If you charge €0.80 for mayo with the fries, normally fill the container in which the mayo should be placed. This is not normal how little mayo you put in it!

Ordered pork tenderloin with satay sauce. Pork tenderloin was so dry and tasteless. From the freezer into the microwave and served. People really never order! Peanut sauce was so gross too. Paid €13.50 for mediocre fries. Nothing was passed on to the great chef either. Received insufficient money back 4 times, after which I had to contact her 4 times and correct it. You'll never see me there again. Good luck with the deal there. Bah bah

Lovely place to have something to eat. Inside it looks neat and the staff is friendly. The food is very tasty! I'm especially a fan of the burgers and the Pulled Chicken fries.

Echt een leuke plek om te eten!

I ate dinner at 't Hoekske today, and I have enjoyed my meal. Yes, it was nothing super special but tasty. Especially, considering the fact that I was there during rush hour. The coffee, however, was definitely one of the better coffees I have had compared to similar cafetaria-snackbar-restaurant establishments in the area. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and proactive. Looking back, I feel fairly bad for not tipping. I will do that next time I'm there.

Zeer goed eten, prima atmosfeer met vriendelijke mensen. Verzorging is echt top. Ik hou van hygiëne en zie net dat niet alleen de tafels, maar ook de stoelen worden afgenomen. Een voorbeeld voor anderen!

Mooie lunchroom met goede ambiance voor Noordelijke begrippen en ook keurig netjes en schoon. De prijzen zijn echter wel behoorlijk aan de hoge kant. Bijna € 22 voor twee bescheiden broodjes met twee frisdrankjes is toch wel wat fors.

Het was redelijk de Indische sate was smakeloos en volgens mij geen varkenshaas .... ook een slechte waterige saté saus .... patat was goed

Het snacken gaat hier uitstekend. Ruime zitplaats mogelijkheden. Vriendelijke bediening en er wordt gelet op algehele kwaliteit.🌏

Mooi cafetaria maar de snacks waren redelijk en niet echt heel lekker. Keuze uit heel veel sauzen maar geen echte mayonaise! (Fritessaus heeft niet onze voorkeur) Belgische mayonaise was er wel...en die namen we dus maar. De satésaus was erg flauw. De patat/friet was saai qua smaak en de snacks ook. We misten echt de "lekkere vette bek". Die halen we dus voortaan maar in Amsterdam.

Wij komen hier geregeld een hapje doen.. voor gemak of als we er even uit willen zijn. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en spontaan. Het eten is altijd zoals vertrouwd goed en smaakvol. Ook tijdens drukte zijn ze nog steeds goed vlot met serveren. Een prettig uitzicht vanuit de serre geeft net even dat extra ontspannen gevoel. en als dessert hebben ze volop keus! De nieuwe serre is erg mooi en gezellig ingericht, met verschillende tafels om aan te zitten. Tevens hebben ze nu vers ijs (bolletjes) met heerlijke smaken. Tot gauw!

Ik vind de patat de laatste maanden erg bleek en niet goed doorgebakken bij afhaal. Jammer, want ik haalde hier eigenlijk altijd patat, maar ga de laatste tijd naar 't pleintje. Veel beter.

Zelf woon ik in Tampa Florida. Ik schrijf deze review voor mijn ouders welke hier zeker 2 of 3 keer per maand met hun vrienden kring afspreken om Allen gezellig te smikkelen. Snack bar food op restaurant 3 Sterren kwaliteit. Wanneer ik op visited Ben in Heerenveen ga ik ook graag gezellig een avondje naar ons "hoekske"

Super clean!!! These are the best words to describe this place. Then most importantly, the food is good and the menu is much more diverse than you would expect from a cafetaria. Besides fries you can choose other cuisines like noodles, rice and salads. Service is very friendly and quick. Well done!

Prima snackbar om even snel iets af te halen maar ook om even een plate te eten. Mooie zit gelegenheid aan drukke doorgaande weg. De snackbar is gelegen in het centrum van Heerenveen tegenover het gemeente huis. De locatie is schoon en netjes onderhouden. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam

Leuke cafetaria met best wat zitplaatsen. Personeel is vriendelijk. Soms wordt het eten wel wat afgeraffeld. We vragen de friet altijd wat meer doorbakken, dat is nog niet gelukt. Maar voor de prijzen die gehanteerd worden is het een beste tent.
