Restaurant Bueno in Wijk 00: Valkenburg

The food selection was very limited. Many things were clearly microwaved and very greasy. The host was grumpy and unfriendly, and things were constantly being forgotten. Not recommended.

Something's terribly wrong here... This restaurant has completely misunderstood the concept of "hospitality." I made a reservation for Christmas Day in September with confirmation... They had no idea... but "luckily" there was still a table. You order via a QR code stuck to the table. It's a handy system... you can choose four dishes per person... once you've made your choice, the food arrives within two minutes... Clearly reheated and lukewarm. The staff literally just hands your food to the table. They're completely oblivious, and someone else spends the entire evening emptying and loading the dishwasher, making a tremendous racket. The atmosphere seems okay, but I think the management needs to think twice.

Good formula for 2.5 hours of ordering tapas

Wow! What an evening! Besides the delicious food, there was a great deal for kids, who pay €1.75 per year of age. The food arrived quickly and was delicious, but most importantly, the atmosphere. The staff were so incredibly fun, created a wonderful atmosphere, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. We were there during the Christmas parade, and everyone received glow sticks to really make it a party. We had a fantastic evening, thank you!

What a lovely tapas restaurant in Valkenburg. We also had guests with food allergies, and that was clearly indicated in the app. The staff were also very accommodating. They were very generous with food, and the food arrived quickly and was presented beautifully. Highly recommended!

Delicious tapas at reasonable prices. The chocolate mousse was very light and creamy, and there was plenty of it. Plenty of choice for everyone, from vegetarians to meat eaters.

The staff was friendly, the food was tasty, but the menu selection was limited. Despite it being busy, we received our dishes quickly. A great evening!

We ate there for the first time in December. It was fantastic! Friendly, fast service, and the icing on the cake: a front-row seat for the Christmas parade. The spare ribs were excellent.

€37.50 for unlimited tapas, way too expensive for the limited selection, drinks and dessert not included. After ordering and eating the first round of 4 appetizers via an app, the app kept telling us we couldn't order the next 4 for another 15 minutes, and this kept appearing on the screen; those 15 minutes seemed endless. We finally ordered with the other phone, but only received 3 of the 4 appetizers we ordered. The stuffed mushroom never arrived, even when we asked a server about it. After the third round, which also didn't go smoothly via the app, we'd had enough. We paid and left.

Ate there for the first time. Superb in a word, delicious tapas.

Good food, nicely decorated for the Christmas period and good service

With the Christmas atmosphere and parade, the staff was very friendly and fast. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and it was delicious.

This restaurant is terrible. Their sandwiches are so dry you almost choke while eating. Everything tastes old and limp, like it's been sitting out for hours. The staff doesn't seem to care, and the whole place feels unpleasant and chaotic. I would never eat here again.

We had a delicious meal in a charming atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly, and we were even allowed to take two more glasses home. We'll definitely be back.

Mixed experience with the food. Some dishes were excellent, some downright mediocre. But the fact that we, as a group of 12, were required to accept 10 different dishes each before being allowed to choose anything ourselves was quite disappointing. When we mentioned this, some of the staff became significantly less friendly. This made it seem as if they wanted to fill us up with "easy" dishes. It was stated that groups had to be given two rounds through the kitchen first, but this (the size of the rounds) should have been communicated better. If we had, we wouldn't have done it.

The atmosphere and staff were great, but we were disappointed with the food. The corn, for example, was flavorless. There was nothing wrong with it, it was fine, but we expected a little more.

Excellent service and the dishes are all super delicious.

The food was a bit pricey but otherwise fine. It's a shame dessert wasn't included. The waiter, who had a word tattooed on his neck, was either having a bad evening or was in the wrong line of work. He didn't look at the guests, barely responded to any questions, and even walked away without responding when you asked a question, even though the next table over heard it. It was an arrogant attitude. It was a shame about what was otherwise a fine experience.

Why not 5 stars? Because I think it's a shame dessert isn't included. Otherwise, it would have been a 5+. All the small dishes you choose yourself are on the table really quickly. I actually didn't eat anything I didn't like!

Had delicious coffee, a super cozy terrace, and good service. I can't comment on the food; I ordered a simple toasted sandwich, and it was simply delicious. What I was most impressed with were the restrooms. They were super clean and tidy, which you unfortunately don't even find in expensive restaurants anymore, but here there wasn't even a speck of dust. The doors and walls were meticulously cleaned! PERFECT!!

The food is average, and for €37.50. Ordering every 20 minutes is a long time. The atmosphere is good. But when you find plastic in your food, the response is deeply disappointing. At least a simple apology would have been enough. But they don't know how to do that. The staff could certainly use some training in service. This is one of the worst restaurants I've ever visited.

We went out for dinner here with a group of six friends. We're aware that large groups of friends can be annoying in Valkenburg. We're now well over 40, and none of us who drank—"4 out of 6 only drink soft drinks and 2 at most 3 beers"—or anything like that, were annoying to your establishment, the staff, or other guests. Yet, the waiter chose to overrule us by addressing us in a pedantic tone.

Simply delicious food with great service!

As always at Bueno we had a delicious meal, everything was neatly taken care of and the ambiance made us feel at ease.

The food isn't exactly exceptional. The steak skewer was simply tough and inedible. The salad was bland and tasteless. The sweet potato fries were okay. And the rest of the dishes weren't great either. Very bland and certainly not worth the price. Dessert not included. All in all, very expensive. The only positive is the restaurant's decor. It has a pleasant atmosphere and looks cozy. But really, do something about the food; it almost makes me feel embarrassed on my own.

What a lovely restaurant and the food was delicious. We went for lunch. We chose 3/5 tapas for a fixed price, including patatas bravas, baguette, naan, and aioli. Fantastic. It's a shame you're so far from where we live in the North, but I would recommend it to everyone. Keep up the good work. Great concept.

Enjoy delicious and cozy unlimited Spanish tapas with fast service. We had a wonderful time eating here for the third time. The Shangria on the house with the online promotion was a nice surprise.

★☆☆☆☆ Awful service – never again! We were treated extremely rudely on our first visit. The staff were irritated, inattentive, and made us feel unwelcome from the very beginning. After we told the waitress that we didn't understand her and wanted to look at the menu first, we were met with an eye roll. Instead of hospitality, we experienced a mixture of disinterest and arrogance. A restaurant that relies on its location but completely forgets what good service means. We are disappointed and will definitely not be returning. Absolutely not recommended.

Great place we go to regularly. The atmosphere, the food, the friendly atmosphere! Definitely worth it. The price-quality ratio is good. Plenty of choice, and I never went home hungry...

The food tastes fine, but not particularly flavorful. Everything is served very quickly, perhaps at the expense of quality. The selection is also limited. It seems like a good list, but sometimes there are four or five variations of a single dish. The staff seemed disinterested. Your empty glass or plate wasn't even cleared out of your hands when it was empty. This makes you feel like you need to get out of here quickly. Ordering via QR code is convenient, though. Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend it. La Cubanita is a good comparison, but we've definitely had better experiences there.

A Tapas restaurant in the nicest street of Valkenburg. The staff is friendly and attentive. And the dishes are prepared and served with care. You can eat inside and outside on the shopping street. In any case, a recommendation for the tapas lover.

We choose the restaurant based on look of the terrace. It looks tasteful decorated and very inviting, and the Spanish menu. The tapas, while being advertised as spanish, are not all spanish, nor prepared according to spanish standards. Which makes for a bit of disappointment. The food is not bad, it's just not as special as the location and the prices would suggest they would be. As said, not bad, just not awesome.

delicious food 20 min waiting time between each round is just enough if you order 4 dishes so you don't get full very quickly, friendly staff atmosphere is great. if it wasn't a 2 hour drive I would eat here every week👌👌

Tasteless food.. Everything seems to be quickly reheated, shrimps that taste like rubber, old pieces of fish bathed in oil, .. This is an insult to Spanish tapas.

A definite recommendation. It's really worth it. The tapas are delicious. If you choose the "all you can eat" option, you're doing everything right. You have 2.5 hours and can order 4 tapas per person every 20 minutes, which is really plenty. We left more than full after that time. However, you should make a reservation because it gets very busy. We will definitely come back and enjoy the tapas.

We ate Tapas here with eight people and were pleasantly surprised. Because a thunderstorm was predicted we ate inside instead of outside. That way we saw an atmospheric restaurant where we were served quickly and friendly. We enjoyed the tapas and not to forget the Sangria.

You can order unlimited tapas via a QR code on your own phone. Unfortunately no dessert included. You can order 4 dishes every 20 minutes. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and you can sit inside or outside on the terrace. Unfortunately, many areas for improvement. A 20 minute wait is too long in my opinion. And the price of 37.50 is too high. At the well-known La Cubanita you pay 10 euros cheaper for the same quality. Speaking of quality, it's not good. The fried dishes are all very greasy and the presentation is poor (the same lamb's lettuce for everything). The side dishes are not really a side dish because they simply count as 1 tapas so you can still only order 4 dishes. Positively surprised by Pinsa Tonna and dates with bacon. The staff is a bright spot, they are friendly, work hard and are helpful. Portion size is good and orders arrive quickly after ordering. Nice to eat for once, but wouldn't go back here

Nice terrace in the sun. Cozy atmosphere. Fast, neat and excellent staff. We both had the shrimp croquettes on brown bread. The bread and a bowl of green food were excellent. Unfortunately the shrimp croquettes were tasteless. We found one pale shrimp in the croquettes. Missed opportunity, it's not that difficult to make a shrimp croquette.

Restaurant Bueno offers a wonderful Spanish experience! 🇪🇦 The food was excellent, with tasty dishes that were perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, enhanced by the Spanish music in the background. This really gave the feeling of being in Spain for a while. The only downside was that dessert was not included in the all-you-can-eat concept, which was a shame.
