Restaurant Zaal 'T Vöske in Wijk 04: Berg en Terblijt - Vilt

We ate at your place no less than four times within 10 days during our holiday at the adjacent Europarcs. It was delicious and the hospitality was great; a top location for a wonderful meal. They are also very nice with small children!

We ate at this little restaurant today. The mussels in white wine sauce were by far the best mussels I've ever eaten! The spare ribs were excellent as well. My son went back for two helpings of the fish wraps. Superb!

Excellent restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is very good. I highly recommend it!

Cozy atmosphere and beautiful interior decor.

Went out for dinner this evening. Had to wait an hour for our dish. According to the waiter, they were caught off guard by the crowds. That can happen. But communicate that. The gin we ordered was in a dirty glass (something like gel on the inside). Reported it to the waitress, but there was no further response. The only vegetarian dish was sold out. So we just took a combination of starters. Personally, I found the fried onion rings in the onion soup to be very tough. The sour meat did get a passing grade. We decided against dessert after all, and to be honest, we didn't leave a tip either.

Perfect cafe, we went there during the Four Days Marches, had a nice lunch. Perfect staff, even during the crowds.

Dear readers, I have now found a real gem, "Het Voske" My wife and I are in South Limburg for a few days. Our stomachs were rumbling and, like so many others, we scoured the internet, and we found Het Voske. When you drive past, it looks inviting, and there is ample parking on the side. Once on the terrace, we were greeted very nicely, and we also got the feeling that you really belong there as someone not from South Limburg. On the menu, our eyes fell on the whole rooster for 2 people. My wife and I love chicken and put our heart and soul into it when we make it ourselves, so the bar is set quite high and we are always a little bit afraid to order chicken, but we took the leap into the unknown. Ladies and gentlemen............the waitstaff came to serve the chicken and we didn't know what we were seeing (see photo). What a beautiful presentation, and the aroma that greeted us (not to mention the taste yet, I'll get to that later) was truly superb. And now for the taste; I can tell you that my taste buds are still in ecstasy. It was tasty, fresh, and truly of such high quality. And if you are going to order it, be sure to ask for the story behind this delicious chicken; this is a specialty of the chef with a beautiful story, but he prefers to tell it himself. Thanks, Voske

We had a delicious meal at this location. Together with my partner, we chose the "Whole Rooster for Two People." I always find ordering chicken a bit daunting, because it is often served dry or simply thrown in the deep fryer. But... fortunately, none of that here. We were presented with a beautiful serving board divided for two. Included with it were: Parmesan loaded fries, roasted baby potatoes with crispy bacon bits, raw vegetables, and various sauces. I have included a photo of this lovely presentation. This dish is highly recommended! For dessert, I had the iced coffee with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was chalked on a board as a 'special offer'. Well, this was a good choice! We will definitely be back here if we are ever in the area again. We would certainly return. Compliments to the staff!

Terrible manager who calls you a liar when it turns out you damaged your new trousers on the broken table, and to top it all off, you have 4 witnesses. Karma does its work eventually, but folks, you have been warned. And as mentioned before, the facts are indeed being distorted. It's a shame I can't add a photo of the condition of the table here.

A lovely spot in the hilly countryside of the Netherlands

We come here quite often when we are touring on the moped. Today we ordered the croque madam (toasted sandwich) and the fish wrap. Both were delicious, but the toasted sandwich was really the highlight. We will definitely be back for that. Next to us sat ladies who had walked too far and could no longer walk back to the car. After a few failed attempts to get a taxi, the owner drove them himself. Where else do you see something like that?

Unfortunately, we had a mediocre meal here. The chicken was undercooked, and the staff didn't know what to do. It took a very long time before we received our food; the second course wasn't brought until half an hour later. Poor value for money.

We had a wonderful experience visiting this café as a family of five with two small children. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. I withdrew too much. About 17 euros. No problem. We have already withdrawn the full amount back, and I was still supposed to pay the actual amount. Of course, I didn't do that. After all, I have no control over the refund. Don't you trust us then? It's been a week now and I haven't received the refund. So I feel cheated. The comment below states that I supposedly received the money back in cash. Nothing could be further from the truth. You are distorting the facts. And... I still haven't received the refund amount.

If your steak comes well-done instead of rare, as you asked, and you are then asked 'why are you being so difficult' because that person says 'I won't eat this,' the conversation quickly ends. It was resolved politely, but you really can't say that to your guests.

Great place for a tasty meal at reasonable prices. Close to the holiday park where we stayed. We tried ‘Zoervleis’, the sweet and sour version of Flemish stew, and it was excellent. The daily special, Ravioli with chicken, was also delicious, and during the heatwave, it was nice and cool with the air conditioning on.

What a lovely place Voske is! We arrived just before closing time and were fortunately still able to order a nice glass of wine, including tasty nuts (always a plus) 🍷 The owner also took the time for a chat, which makes it extra personal and cozy. We also came back here for lunch and it was delicious. Both the owner and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Truly a nice place to stop by and enjoy yourself 😊

What a nice, cozy place. The service was provided by a young guy who was very friendly. He told me that he was still in school and had just started working here. Many young people could learn from him. He was very polite and extremely friendly. The goulash I ate there was exceptionally tasty. Worth the service alone.

Had a drink on the terrace in the morning; friendly staff. In the evening, ordered fries online; upon arrival at the campsite, it turned out that 2 large fries were missing. We were allowed to come and pick them up, and were given a very large bag, as well as a refund for the missing fries. What top-notch service!! And delicious fries and snacks too. Thanks!

We have been visiting the Europarcs site for a number of years with our motorhome and I have cycled past many times but until last night had never visited. I am very glad we did. The host and I Assume the owner was very welcoming and made my wife and I feel very much at home. We both went for the schnitzel which was cooked to perfection. The waitresses were also superb, speak great english and put up with my terrible attempts at speaking Dutch. The deserts were both home made, a cheesecake and a tiramisu, alas, we were both full and just could not finish them but they were excellent. We visit the area regularly and will definitely be back

A nice, cozy, warm place to sit, and the service was friendly. A pancake with a large dollop of Nutella and a dollop of whipped cream was a bit pricey at €14. The onion soup was delicious and reasonably priced.

Vöske is a very cozy traditional Dutch café, which has been given a new, chic lease of life by its experienced hospitality owners. The staff is very professional and courteous. Highly recommended for everything from drinks and snacks to a luxurious dinner with a bottle of Italian wine.🥂🇮🇹

We had a delicious meal at Eetcafé 't Voske today. The decor is warm and inviting, and the father-and-son team was excellent. They were friendly and attentive, both to us and the children. The food was delicious and more than enough. The children were also treated to a free ice cream and a lollipop afterward. We felt truly welcome; what a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended for families! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. 🍽️👏

Yesterday we had a delicious meal. The Scampi Pasta is highly recommended, and my partner had the Crispy Chicken Burger, so tasty and tender, it was amazing. Definitely worth coming back. See you soon! The welcome was friendly and the staff were great and the service was prompt.

Very antisocial helped or yes helped you have to wait 5 minutes when you see them standing there they first clean the fryer sweep everything on the floor and then it's like that with you sir still waiting about 5 minutes my girlfriend and I just walked outside 🥴last time I went there

Due to the crowds surrounding the Heuvelland4daagse, the service was a bit chaotic. But the service itself was good, and the food was delicious.

We went here with a group of people, and after two hours we still hadn't seen any food, not even an appetizer. We also had to ask at the bar if we could order another drink after 45 minutes. The staff didn't follow hygiene guidelines. We couldn't order pancakes for the kids because they said it was too busy, and only four tables were occupied. Poor service, absolutely terrible! After the children ordered apple juice, they couldn't order it the next day because it was all gone. A family member received a warm beer. The day before, we had already received poor service with an order at Bistro Berg (EuroParcs). So when we saw these idiots at the entrance, we should have turned back immediately, but hey, everyone deserves a second chance. But if you don't take it, you're not cut out for this job.

A lovely and cozy terrace with a sunshade is perfect for a quick bite to eat or a drink after a walk, bike ride, or dinner. You get a real slice of pie and delicious coffee at a reasonable price, also a reasonable price for a meal out, and plenty of parking.

A friendly welcome, prepared meals, for us grilled salmon and pork escalope served with fries (very good). The prices are reasonable.

Enjoyed a delicious slice of Limburg pie with a drink. We received an exceptionally warm welcome, with a blanket spontaneously provided and the patio heater turned on (yes, in summer). Fantastic!

During our two-day stay in Berg en Terblijt we dined both times at 't Voske. Both times we were very pleased with good food, fast and friendly service by the son of the house.

There is a large parking lot next to the café. I usually park my car there when I come for a bike ride in Limburg. And afterwards I like to have a drink and a bite to eat at this café. Excellent service, plenty of choice in food and drinks. Nothing to complain about. I have been there several times, and will definitely come back more often!

Lovely 12 hours for lunch. Carpaccio excellent, croquette tasty and the tomato soup well flavoured. Very tasty, you will definitely see me again.

After a walk through the South Limburg Walking Guide, I ended up with “the sponsor of this route”. The sign outside with the homemade bamiball attracted attention. Friendly service, I got an extra bami ball for my wife. Toppers. Highly recommended.

Heerlijk gegeten, hier hebben ze gebakken bloedworst met appel een aanrader als je er gek op bent. Saté ook goed prima saus , patatjes waren heerlijk en zo gastvrij . Bamibal maken ze zelf super lekker Ook geluncht met vrienden heerlijk Tot volgend jaar komen we zeker terug.

Had dinner at Vöske last night, good classics on the menu and tastefully prepared. Service was smooth and explained the dishes well. Extensive drinks menu. Desserts are definitely also recommended. Definitely worth a bite to eat!
