Elegant presentations, good taste, warm service.

What a huge disappointment. The dishes lacked flavor, the service was poor, and the atmosphere was lacking due to the crowds and the noisy atmosphere. Such a shame, I was really looking forward to this.

We went via the Amex experience. Food was served in small portions and was at best mediocre for the high prices. The servers were polite and nice but lacked promptness, coherence and coordination almost seeming clueless at certain points. Decor and interior was nice.

Ultimately we were disappointed. Brusque service, we had the Amex Expérience Dine for 2 offer, so we added drinks. Waiter has no idea about poring champagne, as the bubbles dies down we were left with half a glass and my wife asked to fill a normal glass and he said « yes it’s very expensive champagne » and that was that, half a (champagne) glass, cost EUR16 for Deutz. (We went next door to the concert and got a full glass of Moet et Chandon for EUR13! - twice the quantity, better quality, and cheaper!!). Fortunately the waiter was more generous with wine by the glass. Main course was not Chinese, had to be eastern with a knife and fork (meat). Could do better for the price is our opinion.

Very good Chinese restaurant with delicious food. The prices are a little high, but the experience and quality are definitely worth it. Not the place for those on a budget.

Just incredible, expensive but worth it, it's like a gastro, I've really never eaten anything so good :) the waiters were very nice, and the atmosphere was great! I recommend it

A regular here and it’s always a treat. Consistently high-quality with friendly staff. My go-to is the beef sweet soy, bimi, and fried rice. I always order extra so I can enjoy it the next day

Fine dining with Chinese influences. This restaurant isn't your typical Chinese restaurant around the corner. The food is high-quality, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. The service was also very friendly. We took advantage of the concert menu and were ready in plenty of time to leisurely stroll to the concert hall.

We passeerden hier toevallig tegen sluitingstijd. Toch werden. we met open armen ontvangen. De sfeer in het restaurant is aangenaam en het personeel zeer vriendelijk. Bliksemsnel kregen we de. bestelde gerechten. De pikante Thaise vissoep was overheerlijk. Echt een plaats om van de Oosterse te genieten.

The culinary offerings were excellent, and the wine list was extensive and well-curated. We were particularly impressed by the friendly and warm demeanor of the staff, which greatly contributed to the inviting atmosphere. Overall, this is an outstanding venue for individuals and groups looking to relax and savor a wonderful dining experience.

After reading the mixed comments, I went to find out the truth, but was told that the restaurant was full even though there were empty seats, and was refused entry. I don't think I need to try it.

Pas voor het eerst hier voor het eerst gegeten voorafgaand aan het Concertgebouw. De jassen werden aangenomen en we werden naar onze tafel begeleid. Meteen kregen we de wijnkaart in onze handen geduwd en werd niet gevraagd of we misschien nog een aperitief wilden drinken. We hadden eigenlijk wel een whisky willen drinken, maar die stond niet op de kaart, maar even later zagen we wel een kar met orachtige whisky’s staan. Dus maar een fles Sancerre gekozen die okay was, maar niet echt verrassend voor € 72. De amuse bestond uit twee garnaaltjes met drie doperwten!! Als voorgerecht kozen we de drieluik van eend die goed was gevolgd door garnalen Szechuan en extra bestelde nasi die heerlijk waren. Het is ongelofelijk hoe snel je hier geholpen wordt. Men is vriendelijk maar bijzonder gehaast waardoor er amper tijd is om goed gastheerschap uit te oefenen. Dat vonden wij een groot bezwaar hier. Aanvankelijk dachten wij er een goed, nieuw restaurant erbij te hebben gevonden, maar dat sentiment sloeg om bij het dessert waarbij deze echt onder de maat waren met twee derde van één aardbei (!), een bolletje citroensorbetijs en een minibakje ijskoude panna cotta voor € 11. Toen we naar de garderobe liepen werd er door de ober naar een lange garderobekast gewezen zo van ‘daar hangt uw jas’ en zoek het maar uit. Daar knapten wij enorm op af. Met fooi € 217,50 in anderhalf uur. De volgende keer gaan wij weer heerlijk terug naar onze andere vaste adresjes. Jammer.

Un excelente restaurante asiático de fusión con comida de primera calidad servida por un excelente personal amable. El menú no es amplio, pero la calidad gana. No esperes una comida rápida. Ideal para un placer pre-teatro

Sfeervol restaurant, personeel was erg vriendelijk en attent. We waren er voorafgaand aan een concert dus bestelden het concertmenu. Hier geen nasi of bami, maar verfijnde Aziatische keuken. De tijd tussen voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht vonden we wel lang n.l. een uur. De gerechten waren lekker, alleen het hoofdgerecht vonden wij nogal zout, maar dat is een kwestie van smaak natuurlijk.

La comida era sabrosa, preparada con buenos ingredientes y porciones razonables. Habitación es dramática, oscura con mesas de espíritu. Un buen surtido de verduras estaban disponibles. Tal vez sea costumbre en Europa, pero me sorprendió que las entradas no vinieran con arroz pegajoso; ofrecen guarniciones de arroz frito. No pondrían más agua caliente en la pequeña tetera después de que el té de buen sabor se hubiera agotado... tendrían que pedir un té adicional.

Food was okay but $15 for tap water. Ridiculous. Felt taken advantage of. Go elsewhere. Plenty better choices especially avoid if a tourist. Can’t imagine them getting away with this with locals.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten, de ontvangst was supervriendelijk, professioneel maar niet pretentieus. Het restaurant zelf is erg mooi en sfeervol, met uitzicht op een binnentuin. We hadden schelvisfilet uit de oven met zwarte bonen saus, met daarbij gebakken rijst. Smaakte fantastisch. Heel fijn restaurant.

This is a very elegant place located in the same complex as the theatre. We had duck (good) and wok chicken (very good). Service was excellent and the prices neither cheap nor exorbitant. The location was very good for us since we were staying in the museum quarter.

Extremely nice staff, pleasant atmosphere (piano music is a plus) and very nice food. We were impressed by the quality of the raw fish!

Second time eating here and it was disappointing. the concert menu of 44.50 was substandard. Obligate carpaccio-like starter, an unimaginative cod with fried rice but without vegetables. Dessert was fine. Lemon tart with meringue, clearly purchased. Great place to eat before a concert, the service is great, but you don't have to worry about the food

I'm afraid it was a rather disappointing experience. Having ordered the duck starter (duck three ways), the spring roll had no detectable duck and the liver brulee was overpowered by the caramel. The smoked duck was very nice. Perhaps ill-judged, I also ordered the duck a l'orange for main. The duck breast turned out to be the same smoked duck as before, which as a main course was overwhelmingly smokey and salty, but now with an orange sauce and accompanied by the same unidentifiable spring roll. At this price point I would have hoped for more imagination and less recycling between dishes. Service was correct and pleasant, but the acoustics made polite conversation all but impossible.

Ben afgegaan op de review! Maar viel erg tegen. Prijs tov de hoeveelheid is hopeloos! Ik had een voorgerecht met coquiiles en mijn vrouw had een voorgerecht met eend Je moet met een vergrootglas op zoek gaan naar je coquiles, zo klein zijn ze. En er liggen er 2 op je bordje! 38 euro is echt belachelijk veel Zelfde geldt voor het hoofdgerecht. Smaak is goed, veel te kleine porties, bediening matig een beetje afstandelijk! Voor mij geen volgende keer!

Eten hier is erg lekker. Kwaliteit Aziatisch restaurant, het is iets duurder maar dan krijg je er ook wat voor. Service is top de zaak is niet al te groot maar de tafels zijn mooi ingedeeld waardoor per tafel privacy heeft. Gyoza met kip en groenten, Zeebaars met unagi saus is een kunstwerk. De thaise vis curry met Tijger garnaal en Sint jacobs schelp is lekker pittig. De Sichuan garnalen ook erg smaakvol. Maar de chef is heel bedachtzaam hij heeft de Sichuan gerecht niet pittig gemaakt want anders zouden de gerecht de smaken elkaar met pittigheid weg gewerkt hebben. De toetjes zijn ook kleine kunstwerkjes op zichzelf. Kokos crème brulee met gestoofde peren ijs. De chocolade lava cake is ook best spicy en een vanille ijs met kokos rasp, framboos, braam en aardbij saus.

Oriental fine dining at central location. Great food with nice presentation though over priced especially for starter. The ambience was also carefully curated with a clear oriental touch. The most disappointing if not annoying part is the sub bar service. What’s particularly disappointing is the clear difference in the attentive attitude with other guests. Being the only Asian guest in the restaurant hope that is not the reason behind the differentiated service level if not discrimination. As a fine dining restaurant, hope the house can prioritize guest experience in their service protocols. For example, I was told the tea I ordered cannot be topped up with hot water which is very unusual for a high end Chinese restaurant. Not sure how many guests will indeed order another pot but the hospitality is somewhat missing. It was also disappointing to be told not to drink my own water while the water finally showed up 5 minutes after I took my seat. It is fair to have such rule but only appropriate after greeting your guest present the menu and take the drink order first. Another area of improvement is for waiter to understand better their menu. The waiter struggled to explain several items on the menu which is not expected in a fine dining place. Overall, still a decent experience.

Mooi restaurant, goede bediening, lekker eten en prima wijn maar wel duur en bescheiden porties

Heel lekker en anders dan de meeste aziatische restaurants. Mooie afgewerkte borden en prima van smaak. Al is de prijs van de aperitiefhapjes en bites er wel zwaar over. Rond de €5 voor een miniloempia en €4 voor een mini saté is wel erg overdreven.

Great little spot near our hotel. Everything we had was spectacular! Service was a bit slow but i think it’s bc they expect you to tell them when you’re ready. Only complaint was that my wine was warm

Regelmatig komen we hier voorafgaand aan een bezoek in het concertgebouw. Maar het blijft elke keer weer een feest om hier te eten. Zeker een aanrader.

Precious gem in the middle of the city center! The atmosphere was great, but the biggest selling point are the waiters; very attentive and kind. Food wise I was not blown away - there are better Chinese restaurants in Amsterdam, but the trade-off is ofcourse you won't get this nice ambiance with great personnel.

Wonderful fine dining experience in Amsterdam. The menu has a variety of options for any dietary wishes. Restaurant is at a very convenient location, especially for after visiting one of the museums. The staff is attentive, friendly, service is top notch and the ambiance is amazing.

Heerlijk gegeten! Uiterst attente en vriendelijke mensen daar. Had mijn portefeuille laten liggen op onze tafel, maar die meneer kwam me achternagehold om hem te brengen.

Super expérience ! La formule menu à partager fut un réel plaisir. Le meilleur moyen de découvrir leur univers et ainsi se rendre compte que la cuisine s'applique à tout rendre excellent. Tartare, tataki, salade, plusieurs sauces exquises, tout était parfait... Rien a dire, un sans faute ! Une carte de vins ouverts qui a largement fait ses preuves, ainsi qu'un choix de Whisky qui fait très plaisir. Nous avons passé un moment tout bonnement idéal, on s'est RÉ-GA-LÉ !!!

Very disappointing takeout from here, sweet & sour was so soggy it was inedible (like someone had forgotten to cook it before adding to the sauce) and vegetable dumplings very chewy as if they hadn’t been cooked properly. Not at all worth the very expensive price.

Delicious duck with an orange-based sauce. Thoughtful stuff. Chil background music and dim lights create a relaxing movie-like atmosphere. Delightful cosy inner yard with statues.

Vandaag eten besteld bij dit restaurant. Het eten was matig en zeker niet voldoende voor 2 personen.prijs kwaliteit matig € 60,- ?? Zou dat zeker niet aanbevelen.

Das Essen war lecker jedoch teilweise kalt. Es wurde versucht uns 18€ zusätzlich abzurechnen weil wir anstelle von Reis gebratene Nudeln wollten. Die Preise für Softdrinks hatte der Kellner leider nicht im Kopf mit der Begründung dass noch nie einer nach den Preisen gefragt hat. Viel Zeit mit einplanen. Wir haben 1 1/2 Stunden auf unser Essen gewartet.

Great classic Chinese restaurant in the Museumkwartier. Lovely building on a beautiful, quiet street. It backs up to the Concert hall, so a great place to go before or after a performance. The foods is delicious. I’ve only gotten takeaway since that was the only option for a long time. Looks beautiful indoors though.

Een fijn em sfeervol restaurant waarin de chinese keuken verfijnd is. Mooie kleine gerechten, soms als een kunstwerk geserveerd, prima op smaak. De bediening is vlot en attent, maar heeft ook kennis van de gerechten. De wijnkaart is zeker ook een aanrader om nader te bestuderen.

Boven verwachting! De gehele beleving was heerlijk, het eten was erg lekker en de bediening erg vriendelijk. Ook met allergieën word er goed rekening gehouden

Great staff, good food and good service. The tempura vegetables are a must! My friend had the Chinese Mushroom Wok which was delicious. I had Wagyu Carpaccio and short ribs. Both are good. Nice atmosphere

We komen natuurlijk liever in het restaurant maar als het niet anders kan is thuisbezorgen een goed alternatief; het was namelijk even lekker als altijd.

La comida está muy bien, pero hay que esperar mucho tiempo entre los platos y la cantidad era muy poco en comparación con el precio. Es un restaurante Chino diferente que los demás y recomendable.

Me and my girlfriend were there yesterday. Tigerprawns were ok, but the rest was nothing special. Be prepared to wait a long time if you want to order something, as the staff seems to be busy with everything except the guests... Wouldn't come back here to be honest...

Mmmmm wat was het weer heerlijk Chang-i! Boven al onze verwachtingen weer! Met social deal hier wezen eten en de 4 gangen menu van de chef gehad. Alles was top, maar toch net geen 5 sterren omdat we nog honger hadden na afloop. Qua hoeveelheid mag het zeker wel aangepast worden dan is die zeker 5 sterren waard! De sfeer was super en de bediening zeer professioneel en beleefd! Tot de volgende x maar weer, hopelijk zitten we dan wel vol en kunnen we lekker uitbuiken.
