Great food and very friendly staff

Cozy pizzeria on the small square in Cadzand-Bad. They also serve breakfast, but we weren't able to try that. We had a table in the sun. The staff were all very friendly. One lady couldn't speak Dutch. Past the restaurant is a long street with (paid) parking.

Very pleasant to spend time on the terrace... the weather was very nice where we were... the covered terrace was lovely to sit on. We just had a drink; our little dog was with us and there was no problem at all... We will definitely be back..

My wife's pizza was delicious, but my lasagna Bolognese contained lamb, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. Since I thought it was beef or a mixture of beef and pork, I complained about the taste and smell. The waiter assured me it was freshly ground lamb. I still didn't like it. The conservatory was very noisy.

Tasty pizzas well-topped with fresh ingredients, and also available gluten-free. Tasty mussels and friendly staff, will definitely come back again.

The service and food were unfortunately just so-so. The woman who works there is very friendly, but the rest of the staff are more present than welcoming. The food didn't impress us. However, the price is acceptable considering the location. The large beer, which cost almost €7, was practically warm. The glasses arrived warm (probably from the dishwasher), and with an outside temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, we had to wait for them to cool down before pouring our drinks. Separate payment wasn't possible. Clearing the table was only done sporadically. There's a lot of competition; next time we'll try a different place.

We ate dinner at the restaurant three times and tried a different dish each time, and we have to say that everything was always delicious. The staff was friendly, and they even provided drinking water for Stitch, our little big sniffer 🐕🐶.

Our seats were located next to the entrance to the toilets. We found this to be inconvenient, as there were many toilet visits. We had not made a reservation, so we were offered this seat, as the restaurant was reasonably full both outside and out.

I was on vacation in Cadzand-Bad and had heard good things about this restaurant from friends. Since I had picked up a takeaway card with a QR code on the first day, I wanted to order online. But the code only took me to the homepage where I could reserve a table. Too bad, so I called in English. I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes, which I thought was incredibly fast. It was too good to be true. My order hadn't even been entered, let alone prepared. But okay, I've experienced that before. Then I waited 10 minutes, which is perfectly fine—but not 5. The food arrived in what I thought were pizza rolls. To my disappointment, it was baguette slices with butter. I have no idea why, but it might be typical for the region. The container was only two-thirds full, and there was clearly spaghetti with sauce on the bottom. No mixing in the pan like I do at home, or at least stirring like any second-rate takeaway. For a restaurant, I find that unacceptable, and for €19, it's outrageous. Cheese was included too—see photo. The sight was sad. The sauce was good, and with enough sauce, a small portion of Napoli for €10 would have been fine. But not for the €19 Verdura portion. The Verdura part didn't work for me; it was seasoned, but the eggplant, in particular, was much too hard. But that might be a matter of taste. After two very hard pieces in a row that I spat out, I lost my appetite. So, the small portion didn't matter. I hope it tastes better in the restaurant.

We had a tasty pizza there today with our children. Fresher than fresh. Large pizzas for a fair price. The service was quick, efficient, and very friendly. Highly recommended for anyone in the mood for a freshly made pizza. By observing other customers, we also saw that their ice creams are worth trying; beautiful, large sundaes. We will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, both pizzas we ordered were undercooked and the dough was just a soggy mess... the crust tasted okay, but the ice cream sundae wasn't really worth the money. We definitely wouldn't go there again.

The Caesar salad wasn't really a Caesar salad—it was more like a small side salad. The pizza didn't have a properly fermented dough. Overall, you could say it's enough to fill you up, but it's anything but a culinary highlight.

First of all, the staff is incredibly friendly and respectful; the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and everything was great – it was a lovely day.

Terrible experience 😣 We went there to have some drinks and I ordered some ice coffee, they bring it, half of the glass, WARM, and nothing remarkable, when the check arrived: 17 EUR for 2 WARM HALF FULL regular coffees when the price for a cappuccino is for example 4EUR, when we ask the waitress for the menu to check the price she answered with terrible attitude: that is not in the menu this is how much you need to pay, we payed and left, terrible service and overpriced

Were going to drink a coffee here. A cappuccino is 4.2 euros. Asked if they had iced coffee as well since this wasn’t mentioned on the menu, the lady said yes. 1) the coffee was not really cold 2) when we got the bill it said 17!!! Euros. Unfortunately my girlfriend had just paid not realizing what they were charging. The explanation was “it’s not on the menu”. I told her the least she could’ve done is mentioned that it’s the price of an alcoholic coffee. First and last time for sure!

The food was tasty, but the portion (fish) was too small for me personally. The server clearly didn't want to work. Since the restaurant options in the area are very limited, it's quite busy. I recommend making a reservation in advance. Unfortunately, the menu is only in Dutch; there's no English or other language option.

Very friendly service, clean tables. A clear and concise menu. The food was very good; the pizza could have used a bit more flavor, so we added some pepper. It would definitely have been great with different toppings. Generous portions. We will definitely come back. There's also a market here on Mondays in the summer. Breakfast is also highly recommended; the croissants were even still slightly warm, and the pancakes were very tasty.

The food is always delicious and plentiful, and the service is very friendly. It's quite noisy outside in the pavilion when it's full, but you can also order takeout. The pizzas are very generously topped and very large. The fries are missing from the first photo of the kibbeling (battered and fried fish). 🍟

Just a quick compliment for the amazing service. My dining companion has a bell pepper allergy but didn't read the menu properly. The Columbia is highly recommended. The staff and owner are very friendly, and the chef is a true master of his craft. The food is absolutely delicious. Everyone will find something to their liking on the menu. I regularly visit Cadzand-Bad for holidays, and while the town has changed over the years, the Columbia has maintained its high standards. I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Delicious food, friendly and fast service, reserved for 10 people, able to order 8 different dishes without any problems. Very tasty desserts, although tiramisu and strawberry coupe were not available. Paid parking from 11 am to 6 pm nearby.

Every year when we spend our short break in Cadzand-Bad, this is our favorite Italian restaurant. Delicious food, fair prices, fast and friendly service. Plus, a good selection of beers and wines. Also highly recommended for coffee and cake.

The pizza was delicious, and the service was okay. They weren't aware of online reservations at the restaurant, but they somehow managed to squeeze us in with eight people! Thank you.

Mr. Arek, the waiter doesn't hesitate to put people down based on their appearance, calling them "too fat," I quote, when he's frustrated. He'd better brush up on his manners and not allow himself to say such things on social media while showing off where he works. That's not very smart, Mr. Arek. I wouldn't recommend coming to the establishment where you work and risk running into you. My apologies to the owner, but I hope he learns his lesson.

We had kibbeling (fried fish pieces) with fries and salad. Food was well prepared and moderately priced. Service was fast. Clean toilets too which I consider a big plus.

Today I had another cup of coffee and a slice of apple pie, with whipped cream, of course (the price isn't listed on the menu). It was delicious, but I was charged €22.82. After inquiring, it turned out we were charged €2.50 for a dollop of whipped cream. Outrageous.

Yes, I've been coming to Cadzand-Bad on and off for over 40 years. Apart from chip shops and a Chinese restaurant, there weren't any. This restaurant is a real asset to Cadzand-Bad. Seating is both indoors and out, highchairs are provided, delicious food, and friendly service is a must. Definitely give it a try!

Nice restaurant, but unfortunately, the food wasn't very tasty. All three of us ate fish...it was fried and roasted for too long, making everything very dry. The mashed potatoes were completely tasteless. Perhaps we would have been better off with pizza and the like. We wouldn't go back to the restaurant.

We ate here on our last day of vacation. The calzone was excellent, and the accompanying menus were also large and very tasty. The service was also very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the Columbia restaurant.

We had pizza, and it was delicious. A bonus for me is that they also serve gluten-free pizza (just the way pizza should be).

The restaurant is located on the tourist mile Boulevard de Wielingen in Cadzand-Bad. Nevertheless, the ambiance is pleasant, clean, and pleasantly decorated. The staff is very friendly, accommodating to requests without any complications, and the service is attentive and quick. The portions are generous, the pizzas and pasta dishes so large you can't finish them, and all for a reasonable price, especially given the location! When in season, I recommend the plain mussels with fries. Excellent quality, a huge pot per person, carefully selected by the chef; not a single closed mussel in the 1.5 kg of mussels per person! So it's best to skip the starter. The other typical dishes, from cheese croquettes to kipplings, are fresh, plentiful, and good. We were here three times in one week! I definitely recommend the restaurant.

We were there for a birthday party with over 10 people, and the staff set up a few tables especially for us. They also brought us a gift, and the staff sang for the birthday boy. The pizza I had was also very good.

We've eaten there a few times. The main courses are very good. I had a waffle. It wasn't fresh and the edges were rock hard. When the waitress came to ask if it was good, nothing was done about it. When we went to pay and I mentioned it again, I was told I should have mentioned it sooner. It's a shame they didn't have another solution. This could have been more customer-friendly.

Food is very good and the atmosphere is good too! But my drink was forgotten twice

The food was surprisingly good, definitely better than we expected. It's obviously not a 5-star restaurant, but rather a pizzeria in a tourist area, and both the taste and size of the dishes were definitely decent. There's always room, as there are plenty of tables available both inside and outside. Our two dogs were also no problem and were allowed into the covered outdoor area. There's also a dog water bowl in front of the restaurant.

We ate here during our vacation. The service was excellent. The food was rather average. We ordered without mushrooms, but the calzone still came with mushrooms. The salad had no dressing and was very small. 5 stars, however, for the staff. They were very accommodating and friendly. Let's just say it was okay overall.

A wide selection of pancakes and frikandel (fried pastries) is available until 5 p.m., as well as a broad evening menu. Prices could be slightly lower for a tearoom. The presentation and quality of the food here are not what you'd expect—almost too good and not to be expected for a tearoom. I was all the more pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly and accommodating to special requests—even setting up a table for 10 at short notice was no problem.

It used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but it's gone downhill a lot. Serving a baguette as a starter at a pizzeria isn't acceptable. Then using the same bread, topping it with Parmesan cheese, and serving a kind of tomato pesto in a bowl is very unusual. The 4 Formaggi pizza wasn't cooked all the way through, so there was raw dough in the middle. No longer recommended, unfortunately!

I visited Restaurant Columbia to pick up a classic Pizza Margherita for takeaway. I called ahead to make sure it would be ready upon arrival, though I still had to wait a few minutes, which wasn’t a problem for me personally. The staff were rather reserved and didn’t engage much. The payment process was quiet, and after being asked to take a seat, the pizza was placed on my table without further communication. The pizza itself was very good, as expected from a Margherita and the portion size was fair for the price of 11 euros. One thing I would have appreciated is if the pizza had been pre-sliced for takeaway. Since we planned to eat it at the beach, it would have made things a bit easier. That said, we still managed just fine. Overall, a solid experience with good food, though a bit more friendliness and small touches could make the service feel more welcoming.

To round off our vacation, the four of us made a reservation at Restaurant Columbia. The food was decent, nothing more, nothing less, but the waitress was remarkably disinterested and had no idea what was available in terms of dish availability. While paying the €200 bill, she walked away, and stayed away, leaving my wife waiting. No tip, no recommendation.

We went to this Italian restaurant last night – it was just before closing time, but we were still warmly welcomed and even got three dishes 🍽️. A big compliment for that! Unfortunately, the Greek salad wasn't quite what we had imagined 😢 – we were expecting a bit more. But the rest of the dishes were very good and lovingly prepared. The service was consistently friendly and attentive. The prices are a bit high, but quite reasonable for the late hour and the quality 💰. All in all, a lovely evening! 🐚

Delicious pizza and great service

We had a great meal there, but the service was just doing its thing. No ears for the guests at all or listening to their wishes. Walking onto the terrace with an order from two different tables and then letting the guests take the food from your arm… We had just finished our starter and they thought we were asking for the bill. Fine, but if you pay a little attention to your guest you know that there was still a main course and a dessert coming. Too bad, because it is certainly not cheap! If you let the service staff walk around correctly you have a super nice business!

The pizza was okay, a typical tourist pizza, nothing great. The service was mediocre and felt rather lackluster. Our waiter broke a glass today, and he only swept up the shards with considerable delay and only moderate enthusiasm and meticulousness. The time between ordering and serving was surprisingly short. Overall, okay.

We ate at the Columbia restaurant for the first time today. We had "Brood Smeersels" for the two of us beforehand. The portion was already very generous for two people. The dips were really delicious, and the bread was very good. For our main course, we had Pizza Calzone and Pizza Mediterrane. The quality was very good, just like the starter. The value for money is absolutely perfect for the top location near the beach with its high quality. The service was very friendly, attentive, and they even spoke to us in German. About the ambiance: we sat outside on the terrace; the tables were all clean, beautifully, and simply set. Salt, pepper, and a very good chili oil were provided at the table. The interior is even prettier, with a very lovingly and detailed dining room that is visually absolutely impressive. We would love to come back to try the menu again.

We had breakfast here for my birthday. That's called a luxury breakfast for €19.50. Upon arrival, the first question was whether we wanted coffee because that was not part of breakfast. When breakfast arrived the rolls were warm but apparently from the previous day because as soon as they cooled down they were impossible to get through. The only thing that was really tasty about breakfast was the boiled egg. What a mockery. If you go there for coffee with apple pie (the previous day), apple pie costs €5.50, if you want whipped cream with it, it costs €8.00 and that is of course not on the menu. €2.50 for 2 tablespoons of whipped cream.

The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is great. We sat outside under the canopy (in the glass cage). Temperature was pleasant even though it was 12 degrees outside. The food was mediocre. Pizza was okay but not more than that (stagioni and formaggi). The kids' food, fish fingers and chicken nuggets, was fine. The dessert, ice cream, was not good. Lots of crystals in the ice. The price of the food is normal for the place. Eating for four people, main and dessert with drinks was 120 euros including tip. Fine for once, but not worth repeating.

The food was ready quickly, but it didn't taste good. A place that specializes in pizza on the menu should be able to serve a decent pizza. We didn't have a decent pizza, my evening is now over...

Service was friendly, but spoke very poor Dutch. It was therefore a challenge to get everything right for our large group. Additional questions had to be answered by a different waiter each time. Starter was simple, but tasty (scampi in garlic). Main course was very tasty (filet mignot with pepper cream sauce). Dessert was moelleux with ice cream. Everyone's moelleux was cold or lukewarm. They warmed it up extra (including the ice cream that was on the plate... that was a bit of a strange thought 😅). Apart from the dessert, everything was tasty and we were helped correctly.

Had a great meal here yesterday. Steak was well cooked, although I expected more from a "Devil steak" in terms of taste. Management did their best because I had the feeling that there were a few new ones running around. As a tip, be a bit more active instead of always chatting at the bar.

In No Time it is busy, both on the outdoor terrace and inside the restaurant 😀. Very extensive menu and extremely friendly, hospitable service. They are really concerned to make the guests happy in all ways and give everyone a "warm welcome feeling". Beautifully decorated dining room. Lots of attention to detail and quiet music in the background. You will also be warmly welcomed for a cup of coffee👍. It is possible to pick up a meal. Price-quality ratio is excellent! After a friendly greeting from the staff, a "Goodbye" for the temperamental host😉We will definitely come and enjoy this excellent cuisine again!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
