Delicious food! Borrels&Bites is a fun concept that allows you to savor every (small) dish, making you stay at the table longer. The service is cheerful and very friendly!

We had a delicious meal, and the evening was filled with, indeed: drinks and bites. I'd never experienced this before, but I really enjoyed this concept. The service was friendly, and you could tell they genuinely wanted to please their guests. That's how it should be! Drinks or bites: we opted for the beer and food, and they even had several beers on tap!

Order individual dishes as often as you like. It's the familiar concept, but with a much more luxurious and culinary feel. Recommended if you'd like to try a wide variety of dishes without going to a junkyard.

Great hotel for what we needed: a base for a few days of cycling. A very friendly and welcoming welcome. Beautiful surroundings within easy reach, and a very reasonable price. We didn't have breakfast or dinner there. We received new soaps every day. I'm not sure if that still qualifies as environmentally friendly service. We didn't need it.

We stayed and dined at De Barones. It was time for another mother/daughter weekend. And Dalfsen was on our wish list! We highly recommend staying at De Barones! We received such a warm welcome. We also had wonderful conversations with the owner and other staff. Their passion for the place and their dedication to the job are remarkable. We heard there are still some improvements to be made regarding the hotel rooms, which will make it even more wonderful! And if you live nearby, be sure to indulge in the drinks and bites!

We often visit this lovely spot on the outskirts of Dalfsen. All the dishes are original in flavor and ingredients, and a good size. The pace between courses was perfect (we could always order again when they were served). Yesterday, Olivier was our host. What a lovely, friendly guy he was. We received excellent service from him.

We had our granddaughter and her husband's wedding there. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. A bonus was that we could sit outside until late in the evening. The photo shows the back of the hotel.

Beautiful location, stylish atmosphere and top service. The dishes are refined and perfectly seasoned – you can taste the quality in every detail. Service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for those who love culinary class in a relaxed setting. We will definitely be back!

We were pleasantly surprised! We had already heard good stories about the new concept but had not yet taken the trouble to experience it ourselves. Yesterday we sat down for Borrel & Bites and it was really delicious! The food was very good and beautifully prepared. The service was great, very hospitable! We had a successful evening and will definitely come back again!

After having spent a two-day stay here, I can say that I am impressed with the hotel and the package that was offered to us. We had a delicious meal!! walked and slept. We will definitely come back for the next two days.

Booked a stay due to business appointments in Dalfsen. What friendly people work there. Very well prepared breakfast. Unfortunately we didn't have dinner because the kitchen was closed. Beautiful location just outside Dalfsen in the green. Wonderfully quiet. Definitely recommended.

Paying a lot for little food. The concept is nice, but you always order 1 snack and have to wait more than 20 minutes for it. Kitchen that closes at 9pm. So if you want to go home full, you have to start at 4 p.m. And those few snacks cost 39 euros. Drinks not included. Service short and not service oriented. The food seems to be of culinary quality, but it doesn't taste that way. Not recommended. We ate here again last weekend (2-3-25). We were now earlier in the evening and the restaurant was empty. Service was smooth and friendly. Food also came quickly. And the updated map was certainly better than the previous one. So compliments for the improvement. Later it became busier and noisier. There were only 4 tables occupied, but they all had to be next to each other. Sharing something better means that you are less 'bothered' by each other. Unfortunately, the smoothness of the service also became much less because we had to wait a very long time to pay. So yes, there has been improvement, but there is certainly still something to be gained.

More than a year ago we were with the Baroness and at that time the Baroness van Dalfsen would not look over her shadow with pride and satisfaction, but the day after Valentine's Day it was time for revenge, or so you hope. The welcome was warm and although 5:30 PM is a bit early in the restaurant landscape these days, we were looking forward to it. It started with a warm welcome and a delicious warm sandwich on the table. You order one dish per round and if it is available you can order one new dish. A smart choice, this way you give the kitchen a little more space to breathe. Last time it took at least 35 minutes for something to come to the table, so I was curious to see how it would go this time. I must say I was very happy. There was about 10 to 15 minutes per round and that was perfect and the food Vin? Well, are we really in the same restaurant as last time? The most delicious bites arrived on the table. The bruchetta, Gado satay, beef shorts, cauliflower kipling and torpedo shrimp were all simply tasty, simply presented and just right in terms of bite. You can order most bites blind. The curry in a choux could have been seasoned a little more, so that you really get that intense curry flavor and the Asian fries were actually the only miss of the evening, they really lacked some character. Finally the desserts. Lately I have been mopping with the tap open, so I decided to sit down and do it again. The apple strudel was delicious and nice with a bit of warm cherries, a different twist I like. The cheesecake was also really tasty, not too rich and nicely served. Finally, I tried the chocolate ball and it was a nice idea, but lacked some flavor. I would leave out the cookie that was served with it. The service was also attentive, sharp and I can only say that the Baroness will be happy with this "new" business. Price-quality is excellent and please do not compare it with an all you can eat food bar, then you would be selling the Baroness short and you will be on thin ice. To help people on their way, from now on a legend: Stars 1. Run run run, before it's too late. 2. Weak to moderate. You would be better off spending your money elsewhere and the experience will also be disappointing. 3. On the right track, but there are major bumps in terms of quality and/or hospitality. 4. Yes I want to see. There is room for improvement, but I would definitely come back. 5. Yes, this is what I want to see, experience and recommend that you take a detour.

There was a bit too much salmon for non-fish lovers. And there was little variety for vegetarians.

We had a very cheerful, spontaneous girl. At one point there were only the two of them left. So we could notice that things went wrong or were forgotten. But highly recommended!

Super nice place to have a nice meal. The place is nicely decorated and the staff is very nice and friendly!

Drinks & Bites. Very tasty food. Portions may be a bit on the large side. We'll just come again and share together so we can taste everything. Because all the flavors were very good. Spacious layout of tables. Therefore enough privacy.

A birthday drink with coffee/tea and cake beforehand. It was cozy in the conservatory and the pastry/snack board was very successful.

What I understood was that the bites and drinks concept was still fairly new in this restaurant. The bites (tasting unlimited smaller portions for a fixed amount per person) were very good and tasty. Very nice and enthusiastic service!! Highly recommended!

Had a delicious meal with 12 people! The Borrels & Bites concept is great! Good price/quality ratio. Delicious dishes to choose from. Something for everyone (meat, fish or vegetarian). Excellent amount per round and more than enough rounds. Food is served to everyone at the same time and is well prepared and nicely presented. About every 20 to 25 minutes a dish. Beautiful location, nice atmosphere with quick, friendly service. We will definitely go here more often.

Had a wonderful dinner with the two of us. The location and atmosphere is beautiful. The owner and staff are very friendly and enthusiastic! The food is great with their concept of ordering dishes. And the dishes arrived quickly one after the other. Everything tastes fresh and is of quality and beautifully prepared. As a serious hobby chef, I think this restaurant is certainly one of the better ones in Dalfsen.

Last weekend we enjoyed dinner at the Baroness with another family. The weather was beautiful so we wanted to sit outside. Although the table was already neatly set for us inside, it was no problem to sit outside and the table was set again. Very nice! What makes the Baroness so pleasant is that the children can play outside. There is a grove where they can play in nature and a lawn where they can play football. Dinner started with delicious sandwiches and spreads, after which we could choose the first round of dishes. There was something for everyone: fish, meat, vegetarian, hot and cold. Personally, I really liked the poke bowl, but everyone also liked the salmon tartare, mini burgers and pulled chicken with fries. To conclude, we enjoyed a dessert with ice cream, curds and other delicacies. In short, it was a nice end to our holiday and certainly a place we would like to return to!

Reserved for two adults and three children. We used to come to this restaurant often. After a nice walk in the beautiful surroundings, we could enjoy a snack and drink while the kids played on the trampoline. When I mentioned to the employee that I was sorry that the trampolines were gone, the response was that they were no longer aimed at children. The way this happened made us feel like we were not welcome with our three children. There are no children's dishes on the menu. We could, however, order fries outside the menu. We had indicated in advance that our three-year-old daughter would only eat some fries. The full children's menu amount of 17.50 was charged for this! Because we had a toddler with us, we wanted to reserve early. Unfortunately it was not possible to arrive around 5 pm. I expected a full restaurant. There were 4 tables occupied. Upon arrival it was already indicated that we had to wait 20 minutes between dishes. We thought this was a long time. Fries were cooked well. The sandwiches we received in advance were tasty. The Dutch shrimp cocktail was nice and fresh. The meat dishes were very disappointing. Tenderloin tips were dry and the dish consisted more of vegetables than meat. The meat in the tacos was also not tender. Desserts were variable. Sorbet ice cream tasted delicious. The Tiramisu was not what we expected. We did not think the proportions of the ingredients were appropriate. We won't be coming again for a while.

We were at the fair with a stall. Very sad. 20 stalls. After 3:00 PM there were hardly any visitors anymore. We would get coffee during the day. I expected more than twice.

A fair was organized that was fun and well attended

Drinks & bites...nice concept... It just took very (too) long. Food was delicious!. Gave a tip to my girlfriend to go for drinks and bites. Our experience was told on the basis that "it could happen once" but they also left earlier. Order is taken, served and then it takes a long time before the next dish is taken and served. Such a shame because the concept is good! Nice addition for Dalfsen. Anyway....

Update: May 4, 2024.. Eating at the Baroness again today. The staff is very friendly, but in the meantime we have been sitting for almost two hours and so far we have been served a dish twice, in addition to a side dish. We ended up having a dish 6 times in about 4 hours. The food was basically fine, but there were not enough staff for tonight. This meant that we had to indicate that we wanted to place another order. Normally this should be asked when the previous order was delivered, but this was not done a few times. If you want to eat here, there is a good chance that you will have to wait a long time for your orders. Please note that this will be an evening-filling (not stomach-filling) program. First review: Good food, but had to wait a long time between dishes.

Had to wait terribly long... We were with a group of 12 and had asked in advance if we could just sit all evening. This was fully confirmed. Unfortunately, when we arrived it turned out that the drinks & bites concept was only available until 9 o'clock. We arrived at 6:45 PM, at 8:15 PM we had only finished 1 dish and were eventually allowed to order 1 extra dish outside the time limit because we received so little. Service was okay, dishes were tasty. Absolutely NOT recommended!

Ordered a snack board from the Baroness a while ago, most of it was okay, but it still left a lot to be desired. The sausage that was served still had the plastic around it, when we reported this, the message came from the kitchen that it was supposed to be that way. We indicated again that it was really just plastic and that it should have been removed before it was cut into slices and whether they could still do that, but the kitchen did not want to know about that. So we messed around eating the sausage only to take chewed-up plastic out of your mouth and leave it on the edge of your plate. Worthless. Furthermore, no dips/spreads were served with the sandwiches as stated on the menu, only mayo and sweet chili for the snacks, but did you also have to put your bread in it as a dip?? Very weird. It was quite quiet, but the service took a long time. Very annoying when you see the staff chatting and chatting with each other and not paying attention to those few customers in the shop. Overall a bad experience. It was much better when the Baroness was still a pancake restaurant. An extra star because it looks nice. (And.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I notice that when people give a 4 or 5 star review, De Barones gives an enthusiastic response. But as soon as there is some feedback or points for improvement, they do nothing with it. I think that it is characteristic of the working method and ability to reflect. They cannot or do not want to participate in educational feedback.)

The dishes were delicious, plenty of choice and beautifully presented. The rural setting is beautiful with a suitable interior. The chairs are comfortable, fortunately (read more!) At the table you are asked once what you want to drink and you are hardly asked again if you want anything else. The bottles and glasses remain standing after use. With us until departure, I saw the same thing at the table next to us who left well before. The first few dishes were at normal pace. But when you are served and told that someone else is coming to take your next dish, you already feel that a delaying tactic is being used. That turned out to be the case, unfortunately. It was very pleasant, that was our fault, so the wait was somewhat not too bad. But at some point it gets annoying. I would have liked to taste 1 or 2 dishes, but that was no longer possible. There was a wait just long enough, a little longer, to serve just after 10:00 PM, then the kitchen closed. Ordered dessert at 10:06 PM, at 10:49 PM we were the lucky ones to still get something, tiramisu and cheesecake. At the end the host came and told us that he found it annoying that we had to wait so long. That's nice, but it's not of much use. I won't come here again unless I'm sure the service has improved.

We were kindly received at the door by an employee. There were several places where you could eat, a kind of halls, that looked cozy. There was plenty of space between and around the tables, so you didn't have to look at the food off your neighbors' plate. We were helped by a very friendly host. We received an email beforehand that they were dealing with illness in both the kitchen and the service, which meant it could take a little longer. We did indeed have to wait between rounds, but this was not annoying or disturbing for us. The dishes were all delicious, there was nothing we didn't like. The dishes were also beautifully prepared. The only comment I would like to make is that the cheesecake (dessert) was too firm in our opinion. We also expected this dessert to be a bit fresher. The dishes were a good size, I had four (excluding dessert), my table companions had 5 to 6. It is definitely recommended to have dinner here!

We had a delicious lunch here, beautiful terrace and very friendly help from someone who knows her trade. I will definitely come back someday.

For a fixed amount and unlimited number of rounds you can order small dishes, they tasted delicious. Tasty combination of flavors, recommended!

We really enjoyed the new Borrels en Bites concept. Every dish was fantastic. It's been a long time since we had such a good meal! And the choice is huge. Highly recommended!

Last night I had dinner at the Baroness and tried the new concept. The food was delicious and there was a good variety of choices. The host was friendly and provided a pleasant experience. I definitely recommend the Baroness!

Made a reservation for Saturday evening at De Barones because of our wedding anniversary. No one to receive us upon arrival, we had to look for it. Once at the table we placed our order. My husband asked what shellfish was served with the bisque. Didn't know the waiter went to the kitchen to ask. When he returned he reported that there was no bisque. Drinks were brought. After fifteen minutes a board with some sandwiches and two bowls of spreads. After 45 minutes someone came again to ask if we wanted something to drink. Indicated that the starter took a very long time despite the fact that it was far from busy (on Saturday evening there were 4 tables occupied, about 12 people in total). Service indicated that they would pass this on. After at least half an hour, our starter was finally served. Tough carpaccio, almost frozen salmon and tasteless steak tartare. Half an hour later ordered another drink. After another half hour later we asked if our main course was almost ready. Management apologized {very nice guy}, understood our dissatisfaction. About an hour and a half later the main course was served. This was painful to say the least. Dirty deer stew, tough deer steak, tasteless stewed pear. Duo of beef dry and quite tasteless. We did not have dessert again. We asked for the bill and indicated that we would never return here. Once again, a very disappointing evening. And that for almost 200 euros!!!!!

Unfortunately the meat was dry and tough. Not to eat. Staff super friendly. Entourage nice and cozy.

It was like a hot shower. A lovely atmosphere, staff were great. Food was fine. All I can say is, go eat there sometime. Very surprising for Dalfsen!!

Ayoub je bent een topper!! 5+ sterren voor deze geweldige sympathieke heer. Hij heeft voor ons de avond gemaakt, ondanks dat het eten niet optimaal was. Borden waren mooi opgemaakt. De smaak viel alleen soms een beetje tegen.

Wij hebben 1 nachtje bij De Barones gelogeerd en ‘s avonds in het hotel gegeten. Er is ruime parkeergelegenheid , toen we arriveerden kregen we een kopje koffie op het terras aangeboden met uitzicht op de mooie ruime tuin. Rond 11.30 uur konden we al gebruik maken van onze kamer. De kamer was ruim zoals ook de badkamer. Misschien hier en daar wat renovatie nodig maar prima slaapgelegenheid. Op de kamer een fles water en de mogelijk om koffie/thee te maken. ‘s Avonds het “verrassingsmenu” genomen, was echt een “verrassing” , 4 gangen, prima kwaliteit , kortom we hebben heerlijk gegeten. Omdat er weinig gasten waren werd het ontbijt als een soort “high Tea” geserveerd. Kortom, “De Barones” is een echte aanrader. De de bediening is ook heel aardig en attent. We hebben 2 dagen gefietst in de mooie omgeving en ons laten verwennen door “De Barones”

Heel lekker gegeten. We werden heel gastvrij ontvangen en geholpen door een zeer attente gastvrouw. Mijn dochter en ik kijken terug op een heel gezellige verjaardags avond.

Fantastische gelegenheid. Ook voor groepen. Vriendelijk personeel.

Het is best een tijd geleden dat we zo lekker gegeten hebben. Het restaurant is mooi aangekleed en kleinschalig. Zeker je geld waard. We komen vast een keer terug.

Via een mooie route en het fietserspontje bij de Stokte zijn we vandaag naar De Barones gefietst. Een mooie plek voor een kop koffie met heerlijk gebak. Leuke nieuwe eigenaresse.

Heerlijke koffie en appelgebak gegeten en ranja voor de kinderen. De kinderen konden lekker buitenspelen in het speelbosje. Fijne vriendelijke bediening.

Prettige plek voor een familiefeest, goed verzorgd eten en fijn personeel.

Top restaurant, heb hier gewerkt voor 1,5 jaar met een gezellig en leuk team. eten is hier ook heerlijk echt een aanrader.

Veel van het restaurant weet ik niet, aangezien wij er waren voor iets anders dan het normale menu. Maar, een high tea bij hun is aan te raden! Ik had wel wat meer broodjes gewild, er waren veel zoete snacks en weinig broodjes. Verder was het super lekker!

Chocolade en taartenworkshop gedaan. Super leuk. Aardige mensen

Hartelijk ontvangen en genoten van een heerlijke high tea, waarbij het aan niets ontbrak.

Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk gedineerd en van ontbijt genoten in een prachtige bosrijke omgeving. Zeer de moeite waard om vaker te bezoeken!

Fijn restaurant waar je, ipv de goede pannenkoeken, ook uitstekend a la carte kan eten. Fijne bediening ook. Zitten niet te drammen als je glas bijna leeg is bijvoorbeeld, want dat vind ik wel zo irritant. Maar goed. Al met al, fijne eetgelegenheid waar je ook een kamer kan huren. In de zomer een heerlijk terras met een grote speelweide voor de kinderen.

Goed ontbijt, goed bed en goede douche maar hopeloos gedateerde kamer met enkel glas en navenante geluids- en warmteisolatie.

Lekker en goed eten op een mooie locatie

Lekker gegeten, leuk buiten gezeten het terras.

Na een fietsrit hier beland om een pannenkoek te eten. Ondanks dat het restaurant vanavond vol was, konden wij daarvoor toch nog terecht. Er werd keurig gemeld tot hoe laat er nog een plekje vrij was. De pannenkoek was lekker en de bediening vriendelijk ! Verder geeft het restaurant een huiselijk gevoel. Erg sfeervol.

Hartelijke ontvangst. Goed uitleg Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijke koffie en gebak en An aan het eind v d dag een heerlijk toetje.

Lekker gegeten.met mijn schoonouders. Geen hoogstandjes maar wel goed.

Leuke tent, gezellige sfeer, leuk ingericht. Eten was wel lekker op de vis na.
