Restaurant De Beren Goes in Wijk 01 Goes

We kwamen van een dagje weg van uit België en wilden de terugweg naar huis ergens wat eten. De beste optie zou de Beren Goes zijn. De beoordelingen op TripAdvisor waren alleen wel slecht, maar op andere website wel oké. Dus twijfelden we. Uiteindelijk toch besloten te gaan zodat er het zelf konden ervaren. Helemaal niets op aan te merken. Al het personeel die we hebben gezien zijn heel klantvriendelijk. We namen alle 4 een ander 3 gangen menu en we vonden alles goed en lekker. Wat ook fijn was, was dat er meteen werd gekeken of ik een bepaald desert mocht met mijn allergenen. Ze hebben er toen gewoon een soort van Dame blanche van gemaakt zmaar dan zonder koemelk producten. Het restaurant ik ruim, je zit niet op elkaar en het ziet er netjes uit. Ook niet onbelangrijk is dat de wc's ook schoon zijn

Ze weigeren kraanwater bij je glas wijn te serveren als je erom vraagt, alleen voor medicijnen. We lieten onze paracetamol zien maar dat was blijkbaar niet voldoende voor een glas water..Voor ons was dit de eerste en tevens de laatste keer, wat een slechte service!

Onze verwachtingen waren niet hoog door de lage beoordelingen. Echter waren wij blij verrast. Het personeel was vriendelijk. We konden een tafel dichterbij de speelhoek krijgen, omdat wij met kinderen waren. Het eten was ook boven verwachting. Mijn dochter was enthousiast over de spareribs met honing. Ik had een heerlijke geitenkaassalade en ook de saté en de zeebaars vielen in de smaak. De service was lekker snel. Dit is ook fijn als je met kleine kinderen bent. Wij komen vaker…

Helaas niet zo tevreden. Spare-ribs waren zo vochtig dat er totaal geen smaak aanzit. Zo jammer! Personeel wel vriendelijk!

Yesterday we had a very tasty and enjoyable meal at De Beren in Goes. The service is fast and dishes are also served quickly. You will be given a time slot when you make your reservation. Us from 5:45 PM to 7:30 PM. It actually feels a bit rushed and at 7.15 pm we were done with dessert, but then you don't have a coffee or tea at your leisure...? Therefore 4 stars! 😊

September 6, 2024 Had a Latte Macchiato here today. The manager or whatever it might represent, what a terrible woman. The male employee did not get to speak because the manager interrupted the poor man every time and took over from him. The Latte Macchiato had no taste, yuck. We wanted pastries, but they didn't have any. Even though it was on the menu. She had an excuse for that, had to throw away pastries every time. TIP : Update the menu and take the pastries off the menu. And Madam Manager, take a customer-friendliness course. No, you won't see us there again. What an unfriendly restaurant this is!!!

First of all, I would like to praise the employees who served us. Super nice and helpful. Thank you 👍👍👍 Food was good and the price was right. Online reservation worked well. Would come back 😋😋

We sat downstairs at a round table. Looking around, we all thought it had a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The food was truly delicious! The service is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely worth repeating and we definitely will! My compliments. The only disadvantage is the location, where you look at the KFC. Just look around inside and at your company and that disadvantage is gone. ;-)

Eating out is simple and yet tasty, that's possible at these Beren. The spareribs are always delicious.

After a half-hour drive it turns out they are closed for a team outing. It is incomprehensible that you do not adjust the opening hours on Google and only indicate this with a note on the window. No longer suitable for today's times!

We gingen bij de beren eten. Personeel was vriendelijk, voorgerecht lekker. Hierna zouden we onbeperkt spareribs gaan eten. Smaak kon je kiezen. Helaas erg teleurgesteld. Een homp vochtig gekookt vlees, sausje erover gesmeerd. Zie foto’s. Normaal klagen we niet maar deze keer toch aangegeven dat we niet tevreden waren. Het hele terras kon mee genieten van de reactie van het personeelslid die ons vertelde dat de spareribs vers van de slager kwamen…. Was niet erg vriendelijk maar we mochten wel wat anders uitzoeken van de kaart.

Something went wrong while making a reservation. But other than that it was no problem. It is a bit of a 'food shed', but if you can see through that a bit, then it is a good place to stay. Friendly staff and excellent food at reasonable prices. We opted for carpaccio as a starter and it was delicious. However, they had supplemented this with bacon and that was a shame. This almost completely lost the delicious taste of the carpaccio itself and it had also become far too salty. If that didn't spoil the fun, we enjoyed it!

We just had a delicious meal with the whole family at restaurant De Beren in Goes. That deserves a big compliment! Despite the extensive allergen menu that De Beren has, very specific attention is needed for me to eat safely. They are TOP. They did their best to make it as tasty and safe as possible for me. Thank you!! And the rest of the family also enjoyed it immensely!!

Agreed with a few of my former colleagues to have a bite to eat here. Good choice of various dinner options. We went for the 3 course menu. The food was delicious and I didn't leave the table hungry. I think it's a shame that you have to use the same cutlery for both your starter and main course. They have produced a nice beer here under their own logo. I think those are nice details. Price quality is excellent. Great for when you want to meet up with friends or when you're in a hurry

Beautiful place and very tasty food for a nice price. There is a cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is also really tasty. During Corona we also picked up food. We live 10 minutes by car from De Beeren. The food was still tasty. Only the grilled vegetables are not a success to order and take home. They were cold by the time we got to dinner. Pork tenderloin, steak, pepper sauce, traditional fries and the baked potato were a success to pick up and eat at home. Fortunately, we can now sit back and enjoy the luxurious feeling of an evening out for dinner.

We called to ask if we could bring a dog. This was allowed. Without being able to say anything else, we were immediately told that we were not allowed to just come in without a reservation. Indicated that we wanted to take a look, after which the phone was immediately thrown in.

After a long wait, De Beren in Goes has finally opened. We went here for dinner on the occasion of a birthday. We were warmly welcomed and the first drinks were taken. After ordering the food it took quite a while before the food arrived on the table, but on the other hand the food was of good quality. Recommended!

Voor het nuttigen van 2 classic hamburgers met friet a 19 euro per persoon. 1 saté met brood a 20 euro per persoon. 1 cola, 1 cola Light en 1 Ijsthee. 3 dames branches a 10 euro per persoon Rekening € 102 euro. Bediening als vriendelijk ervaren. Voor herhaling vatbaar ? Absoluut niet. Schofterig hoge prijzen. Ondanks dat het goed gesmaakt heeft. Ben ik mij wezenloos geschrokken van de prijzen. Eenvoudige maaltijden voor de prijs van een 3 sterren restaurant. Dan ook nog extra rekenen voor de garnituur op je hamburger. Zoals augurk, plakje kaas ,buikspek en een blaadje sla. Daarom De Beeren in Goes voor mij 1 ster. Beter je geld spenderen aan de naast gelegen MC Donald, KFC of New York Pizza. Dan ben je stukken voordeliger uit. Wat een laaielichters

Not normal... We arrive there at 8:30 PM. A lady walks up and looks like, what are you doing here so late? Only to be told that the kitchen is closing soon, so it is no longer possible to eat here. Kitchen closes at 2100... If you don't feel like work, stay home.

Last week we made a nice stopover at De Beren in Goes, where we had a drink with a group of friends. What a nice place! The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and welcoming. We were greeted kindly by the staff and were immediately seated at a cozy table. The decor of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making you feel right at home. We ordered some refreshing drinks, which were served quickly by the attentive staff. It was wonderful to relax and enjoy each other's company in this relaxed setting. Although we didn't have a meal, I saw that the menu offered an extensive selection of delicious dishes. The smell of the dishes being served at other tables made me curious, so I will definitely come back to enjoy the food too. All in all, our visit to De Beren in Goes was a very successful experience. I can highly recommend this place for a nice drink or a tasty meal

Good food according to the Beren concept.

Of the 3 vegetarian dishes, it turned out that they did not have option 1 after ordering. After the new order, the 2nd one was not there either... it's really poor that there is actually only 1 vegetarian menu... And why they interrupt everyone in the restaurant's food and conversations several times a night by blasting “it's one's birthday” at a deafening volume throughout the entire restaurant is a mystery to me.

Uitzicht slecht[KFC], 3gangen diner voor 1 prijs, komen nog heel veel extra kosten bij, portie matig tot klein. Drankjes vrij duur. Bediening vriendelijk Alles bij elkaar opgeteld is de conclusie, voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Ate here yesterday. I was alone which wasn't a problem. Was neatly shown to my table. Ordered drinks and food. The food (chicken satay) came within 3 minutes and seemed reheated, not fresh. The fries were lukewarm. I pointed this out to the waiting staff who did not take it completely seriously. The lady who paid me took it seriously, I got the drink for free but thought the 19 euros for lukewarm and not fresh food was quite pricey. Very unfortunate because I went here on the recommendation of friends.

Unfortunately, very bad experience!!!! I ordered spare ribs as a main course and they were not tasty. Very dry. In addition, for dessert I ordered churros and did not receive properly fried dough. As an apology I was allowed to order a tea. I ordered black tea but received a green one. To replace the raw churros, I got the same raw churros again. And the service simply said that they are people and can just make a mistake. Yes, I understand that, but not three times in a row, one of which is just the same mistake over and over again. So my evening was just completely bullied by the bears. What did I think? I am very sorry. So never again to the Beren!!!!!!

I've been a few times to try some more dishes, but not really what I expected. I won't order burgers, the rest is okay. Staff was always friendly, the climate is really nice, as with every De Beren, everything fits together. Fairly cheap too...

Good and very attractive restaurant with incredibly friendly service, who you will recognize on your next visit and have a nice chat. Food is good, not super special, but always good and tasty. Especially the Korean BBQ Chicken, which is really delicious! If you like peace and quiet, I recommend sitting downstairs, upstairs there is a play area and there are often a lot of children running around here. They also serve good cocktails and it is also affordable. In short: highly recommended!

First experience with the bears. Goes does not participate in national promotions, for example on Mondays... prices are quite high for what you get. The taste of the Spare ribs at €28.50 are only splashed on after grilling, so not marinated in salmon €25.00, but preferably 2 small pieces. The sweet potato with an extra 1 euro surcharge, not to be eaten, fat ran out! Dear staff, Lud agreed that yes, it can be true, then don't serve it!!

Went here for dinner today with the four of us. We had made a reservation and that was a good thing because it was packed. We were shown to a table by a friendly woman. We had to wait a while for drinks to be served, but as I said, it was busy. My daughter wanted an ice tea from the menu, but unfortunately it wasn't available, so I had to try something else. After taking the order, we had to wait a while for the starter to arrive. After having the starter, we had to wait quite a while for the main course to arrive and then they came with a menu that was not for us. After receiving the good menu, everything was very tasty, only the sweet potato fries were overcooked, we passed this on and we were also able to get new ones. They forgot to include my son's dessert, so they came to ask specifically and also tell me that the ordered crème bruleé was no longer available... this was also a disappointment. In the end we received good compensation with the bill. I thought this was so nice that we will come back here again! The food was good, but everything else was a bit messy.

A bit little. To wait long. Children's play area upstairs. Nice if you are with children. So not very disruptive for a night out for dinner.

*Added later: Because of the nice atmosphere we had previously experienced here, we walked in at half past eight to have another coffee and a drink. They are open until 10 p.m. and received a friendly welcome from a young girl. So far it went well, we wanted to order another drink, but the manager preferred to see us leave. Due to my own experience in the catering industry, I immediately noticed that she would rather not have let us in in the first place. Due to her very annoying presence we quickly left. What a dragon!! You won't see us again. Had lunch here, not really a great location but the food is just good. When we came for lunch the place was quite full, but we were helped quickly. The food was tasty and the service friendly. De Beren always has an extensive menu. We went for dinner again later, we liked Breda and Rotterdam. Unfortunately the quality here is less, probably because it was busy. Although that shouldn't matter.

First Christmas with the family. Was fine, not a lot of bells and whistles, I like it. Service was nice and good.

Actually an odd one out on the fast food Boulevard. The food was better than expected. Would definitely come back here.

De Beren in Goes is een leuk ingerichte ruimte, en makkelijk te bereiken. Dit leek ons dan ook ideaal voor een spontane lunch. De bediening was zeer gehaast. Er werd vrij dwingend en vooral onpersoonlijk gevraagd wat we wilden eten en drinken. Daarbij werd er slecht geluisterd en moesten we steeds herhalen en corrigeren. Mijn man koos voor een boerenomelet met groenten en kaas en bruin brood. Zelf koos ik voor een tosti. Gezien de prijs van de tosti (6.00) verwachte ik een volwaardig lunchgerecht. Onze verbazing was dan ook groot toen er 2 piepkleine sneetjes brood werden geserveerd (de ene helft was bijna een kapje) met een zakje ketchup er bij. Foto bijgevoegd. Mijn man had een smakeloze omelet, wel vol met groenten. Op een gegeven moment kwamen we erachter dat de kaas was vergeten. Vandaar dat de omelet zeer smakeloos was. Het ontbrak ons aan de moed om onze teleurstelling uit te spreken, gezien de jachtige sfeer. Voor ons is dit duidelijk eens maar nooit weer.

Fijne kaart en goede keuken. Verrassend.

Eten is super goed. Wij zaten boven naast de lift. Ze komen steeds met karren met vieze afwas voorbij om de afwas beneden te krijgen. Als ze met de lege kar boven komen is die zo vies dat het je eetlust erg bedrukt. Borden worden al weggehaald terwijl me partner nog zat te eten.

Prima spareribs en gezellige ambiance.

Parkeren hier is absoluut afgrijselijk, verder wel ok.

Voor eerste keer beren beter als verwacht. Lekker gegeten duurde allemaal wel aleen heel lang voor we hulp kregen. Al om al 3 steren verdient

Het eten was goed. Het is en blijft een grote eettent, maar wel goed en sfeervol.

De bediening was uitermate vriendelijk en vlot! Alles kwam beduidend snel aan tafel. Helaas had men de bakwijzes van onze bestellingen verwisseld maar het was nog steeds bijzonder smakelijk. De "franse" frietjes met truffel en parmezaan zijn aan te raden daar er zeker voldoende is toegevoegd in alle lagen van de portie.

Goed geholpen door het personeel. Zeker omdat wij met wat grotere groep kwamen. Helaas viel de spare ribs tegen. Enorm kleine stukken en verbrand.

Gezellig restaurant. Door de indeling heb je voldoende privacy. Heerlijk gegeten. Een nadeel is dat er alleen toiletten beneden zijn.

17 november gegeten. Het eten was goed. Wel wat nadelen. Voor gerecht zonder Spaanse peper gevraagd, toch kreeg ik pepers in mijn voorgerecht. Dit werd netjes op gelost door een drankje van het huis en een nieuw voorgerecht. Daarna zouden we sate als hoofdgerecht hebben, maar dit was helaas op. Ook dit is weer netjes opgelost door dat we iets anders van de kaart mochten kiezen, eigenlijk hadden we een keuze menu, maar mochten daarvan afwijken. Ook nu weer een drankje van het huis voor ons allebei. Tot slot het nagerecht: warme Apple crumble. De ober waarschuwde bij het opdienen dat het schaaltje warm was. Helaas was er maar 1 van de twee schaaltjes warm. Ook dit weer opgelost door warme Apple crumble en een koffie van het huis. Al met al een spannende avond waarbij alles wat fout kon gaan fout ging, maar keurig opgelost door het personeel. Toch een geslaagd diner voor ons 12,5 jarig huwelijk.

Gisteravond hier met drie collega’s gegeten. Bij de ontvangst ontstond verwarring over onze reservering omdat er heel toevallig nog een reservering was op dezelfde achternaam met ook bijna dezelfde voornaam. Dat verschilde maar 1 letter! Bizar maar waar! Hierna heerlijk gegeten! Vlotte service en vriendelijk personeel. Voor mijn collega’s was het de eerste kennismaking met De Beren, maar dat is voor hun zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Voor mij was het inmiddels de vierde keer. En op naar een volgende keer!!

Heel lekker gegeten bij de Beren in Goes. Zelf had ik een tomatensoep, Chateubriand en Chocolade desert. Echt top gemaakt allemaal en het vriendelijke personeel heeft ons perfect bediend. Kortom zeer zeer tevreden en ik kom zeker terug!

Een lekkere 3 gangenmenu gegeten bij de Beren in Goes, het eten was echt heerlijk, de carpaccio was heel goed van smaak en de varkenshaas was goed gebakken en op smaak gebracht, de bediening was zeer vriendelijk, ze waren ons dessert vergeten dit hebben ze keurig opgepakt om ons een drankje van de zaak aan te bieden.

Geweldig restaurant om te eten. Ruime keuze en zeer smaakvol. Personeel is vriendelijk.

Het eten was prima, sfeer kan nog beter, bank rond de rond tafel vind ik persoonlijk niet prettig, liever losse stoelen. En de service was okay.

We hebben de laatste avond van ons familieweekend in Limburg afgesloten bij de Beren in Goes. Wat een vriendelijke mensen werken daar. Chapeau!

Gebruik gemaakt van het 3-gangen menu, heerlijk! Mooi restaurant, vriendelijk personeel. Wat ook leuk is dat honden welkom zijn en hier een hondenbotje voorgeschoteld krijgen 😀

Kan er veel woorden aan vuil maken,maar het was goor ons een dikke prima👍 Genoeg friet,een lekkere varkenshaas,vooraf een heerlijk tomaten soepje en na afloop een lekkere dame blanche. Aanrader en wat ons betreft,tot snel

Eten bij de Beren is altijd leuk en lekker. Kwalitatief goede gerechten, prijs past er goed bij. Vriendelijk personeel en de sfeer moet je toch aan je eigen tafel met je gezelschap maken.
