It looks cozy, but it takes a long time for someone to come and take our order. And the cappuccino is downright awful = no flavor and the cup isn't completely filled, and all that for €4 per cup.

We sat down on the terrace here for a drink and a small bite to eat. First, we had to wait a very long time before anyone came to us. A simple toasted sandwich wasn't on the menu, so I asked if they had one. The waitress told me they did. I hadn't asked the price. It took ages for the toasted sandwich to arrive. It wasn't browned, it wasn't warm, and the cheese hadn't melted. Back to the kitchen. After that, it was much better to eat. When the bill arrived, I was shocked! The bill was €9.50! For a toasted sandwich made with casino bread, one slice of ham, and one slice of cheese. We'll never come back here. It's a disgrace!

My experience at Jersey was unfortunately quite disappointing. Although the menu looks extensive, many of the food and drinks were unavailable. The soup I received was lukewarm, and the glass my drink was served in was dirty, which immediately left a bad impression. Furthermore, the food took a very long time to arrive, and the service was also poor. The staff seemed unfriendly and even gave me a strange look when they made a mistake in taking my order. They had ordered a lunch dish instead of an appetizer, even though lunch is only served until 5:00 PM. Furthermore, there was chewing gum stuck under the table, a clear indication of a lack of hygiene. In short: the long wait times, poor service, and hygiene issues mean I cannot recommend Jersey.

We had dinner here this afternoon and both chose the Jersey 12-hour meat. We were surprised by the contents for such a friendly price. The only thing we didn't like was the bread with the chicken. You could also choose between brown or white bread. The brown bread is delicious.

The quality of the food and drinks was truly subpar. The menus are also incredibly dirty. Otherwise, it's a nice restaurant, but it's a shame the food doesn't reflect this.

Wow best food l tasted in a long time. Cocktails are perfect. Service is slightly slow to order but once food and drinks come its perfect.

Sat down and were waiting for service. While trying to get a waiter to notice us, no one even acknowledged us. Eventually decided to leave and there wasn't even a single person who said hello or goodbye. For the prices we saw on the menu, they can really try to up the service a little. Even if they had said "hey sorry we will be with you in a minute" we would have been happy to be patient.

☆☆☆☆☆ A restaurant like a sociological experiment in the capacity for suffering. After a wait time, in which others would graduate, our food only arrived halfway. The rest was subsequently buried by the staff: "They're gone." No word beforehand, no apology. Service seems to exist as a rumor here. The waitress initially tried to take our order in English – impressively brave, considering that she obviously didn't understand a word. The result was a dialogue somewhere between "Lost in Translation" and absurd theater. The waitress prefers to spend her time with her back to the guest, deeply engrossed in private conversation, until after 20 minutes she graciously reminds us that we are not decorative accessories. The food itself tastes like a task and refrigerator poetry. Conclusion: Those who book absurdity as an experience will be happy here. If you want to eat, you should do something else, like go somewhere else.

Perfect for slow dining... The food itself is impeccable. It's delicious and beautifully presented. They warned us about the warm plate, but unfortunately, the food on it wasn't, as it had already cooled down a bit. Perhaps this was due to the long wait, as there was almost an hour between ordering and being served. And that for a sandwich and soup. So if you're looking for a place to kill time or fill your day, this is the perfect place. You can see, for example, how the staff's industriousness creates so many disappointed faces at tables where people first wait hopefully to order, then wait hopefully for their order, only to see their hopes turn to disappointment and sometimes irritation. Conclusion: the food is tasty but could be served warmer. It's just a shame that everything takes so long.

Located at the market square in the heart of Goes. I ordered cheese croquettes. It took over 40 minutes for the food to finally arrive. The cheese croquettes were tasty but way too small. Too bad, I'll definitely go back to Goes next time, but definitely not Jersey's.

The terrace looks lovely, and so does the restaurant. You just have to wait a really long time before anyone comes to you. I finally asked if someone could help. I had tomato soup, which wasn't anything special and completely bland. It came with a Kaiser roll without a knife or butter or anything. My partner had the fish soup, which, in contrast, was truly delicious. See the photo. We won't be going back because of the slow service. You don't feel welcome.

She was offered a new plate. She politely declined, because what would change? All in all, a disappointment. When paying, she again mentioned the quality, which resulted in a discount on the bill. Food isn't great. The lukewarm soup and the lukewarm croquettes probably came from under a heat lamp. The location makes up for a lot.

Terrible restaurant. We stayed at the hotel, and we'd already seen in the reviews that the service was very slow, but because it was quiet, we sat on the terrace anyway. The drinks and appetizer arrived promptly, but the main course never arrived. We asked the staff how long it would be. She said she would check, but then we were ignored. After 10 minutes, I asked the waitress why I hadn't received a response. She said she'd forgotten to tell us how long it would be. I then paid and sat next door. It was fine there; we had a delicious meal at 32 Eten | Drinken.

We had the French breakfast. Dry scrambled eggs, dry bread rolls, and a fruit salad that was a joke. Breakfast here is not recommended. The value for money is absolutely inadequate.

Breakfast this morning. The cappuccino that came with it wasn't good, the ginger shot was undrinkable, the orange juice probably came from a carton, but the only blueberry in my yogurt was still good. Not exactly quality products... the waitresses were very nice though!

Very cute and clean location with excellent seating, but that’s unfortunately all there was to it. 4 people ordered separately ordered a sushi roll: 1 chicken roll, 2 fish rolls, and one vegan roll. They were all served on the same big plate and touching each other, so be very careful if you are vegetarian or have an allergy. We just got the big plate of sushi brought to the table, and then the waitress left. We waited to see if she would bring us small plates but she didn’t, so we called her back to our table and asked if we could have a small plate each. This is standard practice when eating sushi, but apparently not for this waitress. She was very difficult about bringing us plates, but eventually she did bring them with a big frown on her face. We also didn’t get any napkins, so we asked for those and she genuinely looked like she was going to yell at us. She said nothing and angrily brought the napkins to our table. When one person from our table went to the toilet, the staff was very visibly arguing inside the restaurant. The food was not that good. The texture of the sushi rice was off. The ingredients of the sushi tasted good, but there was no sauces or anything binding the filling together so it was quite bland. My roll also kept falling apart every time I picked up a piece with my chopsticks. I could have made the same thing at home. Shrimp croquettes were okay, the fries that came with them were the best thing we ate here. Hopefully just a bad night, but it definitely was the reason we went for coffee and some desserts elsewhere.

The answer was that they were out of what we ordered, but this was never mentioned beforehand. The rest of the food tasted mediocre to bad.

No, not recommended. Yes, it was full at 2 p.m. It took 45 minutes for the food to arrive. But only a portion arrived, and one portion was forgotten, so once the entire meal was served, and once a portion. When I asked about it, it took over 10 minutes again before it was clear that it had been forgotten. No genuine apology, no preferred preparation. There were enough staff at the counter. But they didn't ask if I had any other requests. Only once in 2.5 hours. The chicken sandwich wasn't fresh or tasty. The other breads were also rather poorly prepared.

Beautiful location and decor. We sat on the patio, which was fine. Spacious seating. However, my spicy chicken sandwich was a disappointment. Not spicy, but hey, that's a matter of personal taste. I practically had to cycle to the chicken; it was three small pieces... Too bad! So, I mostly had (tasty) vegetables, and the whole thing was drowning in chili sauce. For example, my table companion asked for butter with his fried eggs when taking our order, and it wasn't provided. It was brought when we asked for it. My order was also wrong; a poké bowl arrived instead of a spicy chicken sandwich. Too bad. Maybe I should have kept that?! ;) There were maybe eight people on the patio, so that can't be an excuse (it was busy). Their intentions were good, but it was a clumsy situation. No apologies or adjustments were made to the bill, unfortunately. All in all, not worth repeating, unfortunately.

Had lunch once, service very slow, especially when it's busy. They try to keep up but it doesn't really work. They should hire more staff. I find the atmosphere a bit cold and chilly. Not really warmly decorated. I was there a few weeks before Christmas. Chilly environment. The food is good though. There is enough choice.

Het ziet er prachtig uit. Als ze net zoveel aandacht zouden besteden aan het eten, was dit een hele andere review geweest. Ik kwam met 2 kleine kindjes even lunchen, rond 14u. Poffertjes, frietjes met frikandel en een clubsandwich. Het duurde een half uur voordat het eten kwam, wat ik zeer lang vind als de lunchpiek al voorbij is. De poffertjes kwamen aan met bijna geen poedersuiker erop. Serveerster gevraagd om wat meer suiker voor de poffertjes, toen kreeg ik een suikerstick voor de koffie.. Die deden we nog eens opnieuw. De frietjes waren helaas nog aan de rauwe kant. Bij vertrek hoorde ik de tafel achter mij ook al klagen over droge, harde (kip?) in de pokébowl. Kortom, hier is echt nog flink winst te behalen. Tijdens ons bezoek ook meerdere mensen (waaronder ikzelf) verdwaasd rond zien lopen, omdat (ondanks dat het wel staat aangegeven) de wc lastig te vinden is achter meerdere deuren.

Just sat on the terrace, but we were not served. People who sat down after us had already ordered something and received their drinks. We got up and left again. We were looked at by waitresses, so that is completely ignored of course. Very unfortunate.

Dinner with my girlfriend where we had made a reservation for 18:00. We arrived at 17:40. After waiting for 50 minutes I went to the bar myself to order/ask for service. Within 5 minutes we were fully provided with all requests. After the starter we had to wait another 60 minutes before the main course was served. A hamburger, but more like a refined frikandel judging by the meat. Not what I expect from a hamburger. My girlfriend who had a stomach reduction can't handle this kind of processed meat either and didn't finish her meal. However, this "dinner" cost us 73.50 euros. We saw the same thing happen to several visitors during our visit, not that it was very busy for 7 employees. Furthermore, they didn't check in between how everything tasted or was to your liking. Mediocre meal at best and very poor service. 2/10 to recommend.

Avondje uit eten met mijn vriendin waarbij we hadden gereserveerd om 18:00. We arriveerden om 17:40. Na 50 minuten wachten ben ik zelf maar naar de bar gelopen om te bestellen/bediening te vragen. Binnen 5 minuten waren we volledig voorzien van alle verzoekjes. Na het voorgerecht weer eens 60 minuten wachten voor het hoofdgerecht werd geserveerd. Een Hamburger, maar meer een veredelde frikandel aan het vlees te zien. Niet wat ik verwacht van een hamburger. Mijn vriendin met een maagverkleining kan ook niet tegen dit soort bewerkt vlees en heeft haar maaltijd ook niet verder opgegeten. Wel kostte ons dit "etentje" 73,50 euro. Bij meerdere bezoekers hetzelfde zien gebeuren tijdens ons bezoek, niet dat het heel druk was voor 7 medewerkers. Verder is tussentijds ook niet gecheckt hoe alles smaakte of naar wens was. Matig maaltijd op z'n best en zeer slechte service. 2/10 om aan te bevelen.

Sat on the terrace on a Friday afternoon. I ordered an Affligem tripel. After waiting at least 20 minutes (and asking once) my beer arrived. the beer was placed on the table in the barrel and nothing was said. The beer no longer had a foam head and the glass looked 3/4 full. Glad I had something to drink and while drinking a waitress pointed out how my beer arrived. It was going to be passed on so I was curious to see what they would do with it. I heard the people sitting next to me say to each other, look, that gentleman is getting half a beer. At checkout I indicated again that my beer was not OK, but I just had to pay. I was told that I should have reported it earlier, but I did, now do you still understand? For €6.50, expect a neatly tapped beer and some customer friendliness. I'll never come here again.

Hier terecht gekomen nadat we bij het postkantoor weggelopen zijn omdat we daar niet geholpen werden. Hier werden we vriendelijk ontvangen. Snel geholpen, goede uitleg gegeven. We hebben heerlijk gegeten! Zelf het vlees gegrild op een hete steen, prima kwaliteit vlees. Wokgerecht met zoet zure kip was heerlijk. Nagerechten vond ik goed aan de prijs maar je kreeg wel waar voor je geld. Met veel aandacht opgemaakt. Prima ervaring.

A real gem! The atmosphere in the bar/restaurant is cozy and stylish at the same time. The selection of drinks is impressive, especially the cocktails are creative and excellently prepared. The food was fresh, tasteful and prepared with attention to detail. The service was attentive and friendly - you immediately feel welcome. Perfect for a relaxed evening with friends!

Yesterday we came in for a late lunch. We looked a bit lost and didn't know where or if we could take a seat. There was no initiative from the ministry to speak to us. Finally we asked ourselves what was possible and we were able to sit down. The environment is very tasteful with beautiful Christmas decorations. The menu is also promising and it is difficult to choose. However, it was even more difficult to order because after our drinks were brought (and the coke was first taken back) there was no initiative to take the order. We always had to ask ourselves if we could order something. The hamburger and the pokebowl with salmon. After a long time the food arrived, a veggie burger and the poke bowl. 1 minute later the waiter came back to take away the veggie burger, it was wrong. We indicated that some fries had already been eaten. It didn't matter, it was thrown away. Shame! Good portions but unfortunately with frozen avocado in the pokebowl. This was also indicated to the operator, but this was not addressed in any way. Dessert was the crème brûlée with a scoop of ice cream and a cappuccino. This also took quite a long time. All in all, in my experience, this is a restaurant with a lot of potential and possibilities. The young, inexperienced and uninvolved ministry needs a present, committed manager from whom they can follow an example and learn from.

Jammer want het is een prachtige zaak. Klacht wel aangegeven maar er werd helaas geen geste gemaakt om ons tegemoet te komen.

We were deeply disappointed by this visit, especially after a more positive previous experience. The meat on the burger was of poor quality, far from what one would expect from a so-called "signature burger". The service, for its part, was very slow, both for drinks and dishes. Although the setting is pleasant and promising, the contents of the plate are unfortunately not up to par. An experience that leaves a bitter taste.

Wij kwamen aan en vroegen aan de barman of wij plaats konden nemen, kon geen fatsoenlijk antwoord geven en liep naar iemand achter de balie. Uiteindelijk wel netjes naar een tafel begeleid, maar alsnog duurde het langer dan een half uur voordat wij überhaupt een drankje op tafel hadden. Naderhand kwamen wij er achter dat ze voornamelijk oude Gember hadden gebruikt voor Gember thee. er werd geen eten afgenomen ookal hadden wij om de menu kaart gevraagd. Uiteindelijk hebben wij onze dranken op gedronken en zijn weg gegaan. NIET VOOR HERHALING VATBAAR.

Lekker maar uiterst klein stukje zalm gegeten, maar een kleine salade en weinig groente. Veel friet! Ontbijt: Yoghurt mer geen vers fruit en geen verse granulaat. Wederom kleine porties. Beiden zijn voor de grote eters zeker niet genoeg.

Clearly a Chinese owner. Nothing wrong with that of course, but not so good in the kitchen and service. The tuna tataki is a day old and comes to the table ice-cold with refrigerator flavour. Not tasty. The BBQ rib fingers are fatty and not crispy, oysters are okay! The vegetable tempura is not crispy and really greasy, also quite gross. The service is friendly but slow. I made my complaints clear during checkout. The boy who helped me did as if he didn't hear it. We had a very pleasant evening. It couldn't be otherwise with such a sweet woman.

The food was okay, but not outstanding - the guacamole, which wasn't fresh, was particularly disappointing. The apple pie wasn't convincing either. The atmosphere is stylish and pleasant, but unfortunately we had to wait a long time for drinks and food and the staff were not attentive. There is still room for improvement!

The vegan BEET burger is not a beet burger. This is a burger with a vegetarian sausage with beetroot in between. This seems different to me, but not for the chef. Regrettably....

What can I say about it? The staff doesn't say anything when serving the drinks. You will then be asked to arrange an option to change part of the dish. When fish is served at 12 o'clock, you get tomato soup instead of fish soup. Goes back to the kitchen only to hear that the fish soup is finished. When you tell the staff that you have chosen the dish for this reason, you will be looked at strangely and given your bowl of unwanted tomato soup. You also get a fried egg that is already cold when served. The club sandwich wasn't very good either. Fries were cold and the bread no longer crispy. In short, a waste of your money! Walk a little further.

We had a delicious meal. Food could have been a bit warmer. Plates nicely laid out. Staff friendly. Was busy. This makes service occasionally slow. But definitely worth repeating.

Quick and good service, enjoyed a delicious lunch at an affordable price. Actually our regular lunch spot when we go to Goes.

Came in for coffee and lunch. The waittress took order for coffee, brought us a coffee and when we had a question about food she answered and immediatelly wondered away. It was absolutely not busy and we were so astonished by her behabiour we drank coffee and left to sit down for lunch in the restaurant next door. I find this very rude and almost offending to leave customer in the middle of order to take order from next table. Not coming here anymore.

Very friendly Jing staff. A wonderful 12 hours and a fantastic fish soup. Beautiful location in the sun on the market in Goes.

Nice restaurant good price quality ratio

Twice a poorly tapped beer in a greasy glass for €6 each, a glass that seems to contain more suds than beer and staff of which 95% of what we saw, excel in disinterest and grumpy. Place a manager who has a catering heart and let him train and manage the team! When a guest feels reluctant to ask for service (sighing and groaning), you really don't understand how it works.

Food was really a joke. Price-quality ratio was far from reasonable. Hotel itself was very good. Nice room and very clean. Why the food was so bad compared to the rooms is beyond me.

Everything was ok, but probably due to crowds, the service looked messy/chaotic. They were certainly friendly, but clearly busy.

It took 60 minutes for the drinks to arrive. It is really a shame that Amadore has so many terraces on the market because the service and quality are very poor and the price is very high. Advice: get to the city on time and look for a spot at 32.

Mooie zaak maar €3,50 betalen voor een Cola zero die echt niet naar cola zero smaakte vind ik oplichterij. Ik kreeg een glas cola (dus geen flesje) met meer ijsblokjes dan cola. Naar mijn idee was het aangelengde Cola.

Tosti old Amsterdam gegeten. We kregen het met een casino boterham die gortdroog is. Zowel buitenkant als binnenkant. Toen men vroeg hoe het heeft gesmaakt hebben we dit medegedeeld. De medewerkster ging dit melden. We kregen toen te horen dat we geen korting kregen omdat het bijna op was gegeten. Echter daarom hadden we het niet gezegd maar omdat je een gortdroge tosti op een simpele boterham gewoonweg niet moet willen verkopen . Advies gebruik landbrood.

Ordered a poke bowl. At first it was super tasty. Now I got a container with a tasteless rice ball with still frozen avocado and smoked salmon instead of fresh salmon. I would have asked the best one. Furthermore, you didn't get any soy sauce or wasabi. Just bad. Shame. I was so happy that you could eat a tasty pokewowl in Goes, but I won't do that anymore. Service was friendly, but my complaint was responded with: I can't do anything about it🤷🏻‍♀️

Visited again on July 8, Jersey has become our regular spot, what is striking is that the staff is always different, but that is not really the problem, the service is always okay, yesterday was a disappointment in size, cheese sticks were delivered as good as cold, bitterballen at the same time ordered but received 10 minutes later, probably in the grease too long because it had a burnt taste and were almost fried black, it must be a coincidence that you don't see anyone from the service, as if they know. We're not going to stay away for it We do not rely on one-time service, but we are still looking forward to the next time, because +.10 euros for a portion of cheese sticks and 11 euros for a burnt b ball is still enough to get a perfect snack

I ordered a sandwich with "homemade" sandwich sauce. But there were no sauce. As i just asked about it they told me that there is no sauce. I showed it on the card but they hust brought ketchup (too late - sandwich was cold).

Leuke menukaart met voor ieder wat wils. Ik bestelde een pokebowl zalm. Lekker! De pokebowl zag er mooi opgemaakt uit met een flinke portie (gerookte) zalm. Ik heb liever rauwe zalm, maar prima.. De zalm was lekker. Helaas bleken de avocado en mango niet rijp te zijn. Ik vroeg de kelner om dit door te geven aan de keuken. Bij het afrekenen vroeg ik naar de reactie van de keuken. "Oh daar doen ze niks mee hoor" een dat was het. Een foutje maken kan, maar de reactie... die kan echt niet.

Very bad service. Girl who served us is not friendly at all, speaks super softly and is very slow in everything she does. She has to look up which cake is available, we order something and she comes back that she has heard that the cake we ordered is no longer available (which is of course possible), but that she does have 3 other types of cake. She then had to look up which cake it was, so she couldn't even remember which 3 cakes were there from the kitchen to our table, so in the end she didn't take any cake. Then a bowl of chips was served everywhere on every table, with every drink, except for us (while we also had 1 person with soft drinks and 1 person with coffee). When paying, the same girl asks: "Did everything go well?" I say: "Not really..." but she doesn't ask why or what was there? Then the debit card doesn't work and she stays inside for 10 minutes, until we go inside to pay, because it all takes a very long time... Very unfortunate because the atmosphere on the terrace is nice, but the staff and service are really bad. It is also a shame that the mocktails are the same price as the cocktails. In this society, choosing an alcohol-free drink should be encouraged by reducing the price slightly and not making them cost the same as the cocktails that contain expensive alcoholic drinks. The owner also does not do anything with this feedback when we indicate this to him (about cake, staff and chips). Even reacts very grumpily. Place to never go back.

I'm a little disappointed in this restaurant. The staff seems inexperienced, and the breakfast was very poor. My daughter ordered gluten free bread but was given normal bread, although luckily it was replaced quickly. It was noticeable that there was much less topping on the gluten-free bread. I ordered the 'healthy one' breakfast but got dry and cold scrambled eggs. The coffee was weak and everything was served very late.

Onplezierig bedienend personeel en op de vraag of er een bakje water voor de honden neer gezet kan worden, wordt er naar een hoek gewezen en zoek het maar uit! Rest eten matig en langzaam en delen koud .

Beautiful hotel and super atmospheric. Very friendly staff. That's why we come there every week.

Being able to have good consultation

We were 5 people. It took a while before we were helped, but after that we were helped very well. Ordered and the food arrived very quickly. 3 people only had to bake their food on the plate themselves, this was not so clear. I had a wok and it was delicious. Only it was way too little, which is not really possible for the money. One waiter was looking forward to it and the other looked like he wasn't going to last much longer. All in all, great food, but they still have some areas for improvement

We had booked a hotel room. It's a pity that you are bothered by the loud music until late in the evening. Rooms are small, but very neat. The shower is in the room and it proves difficult to keep the room dry while showering. Breakfast is decent, not a buffet, but a la carte. All in all a nice hotel.

A very nice place to drink a cup of coffee and eat a delicious cake.
