Al Mercato in Wijk 01 Goes

We visited this restaurant for dinner. The outdoor tables were unfortunately dirty, and our table wobbled. The service was fast. We were served promptly, and the drinks and food arrived promptly. The food was unfortunately quite poor. We had tortellini with spinach, which were OK, but didn't seem freshly prepared. A salad was served on a tray dirty with tomato sauce. The pizza, unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. My pizza had mushrooms that looked like they came from a can and cheese that tasted almost like processed cheese. Overall, I unfortunately can't recommend this restaurant. There are certainly restaurants nearby that offer better food and ambiance.

We wanted to try a new place, so we ordered two pizzas for delivery. The pizza polo was well-topped and warm, but partially burnt on top, while the dough wasn't fully baked (the flour was still on it). The pizza inferno looked very sad, with very little ground meat, and was also cold. The same problem with the dough again. All in all, very disappointing. Now that I'm looking at the reviews here, I see that others have had a similar experience with this place :(

ordered spaghetti after half an hour it was delivered when we opened it an unknown dirty geir came towards us but we tried it anyway we both felt sick from it hup could go straight into the garbage bin people children what a disgusting food even the dog turned his head for it never order anything there these are bad people

The pizza was very good, but they kept dishes for other guests. Then I had the worst lassi of my life. It's a shame, and that's why it only gets one star.

Unfriendly service. Tables aren't cleared, let alone even wiped down. Wait staff would rather pass back and forth five times than clear anything... VERY UNFRIENDLY STAFF!!

That this business can exist in a prime location...

Service is terrible! The waiters would rather walk away than take orders. We finally got a drink after over an hour. We had to wait over half an hour for a few simple fries and bitterballen. Only after further inquiries did we finally get our order. The restaurant's interior is very unhygienic, and the restrooms are truly disgusting. Sorry, but this is the last time we'll be here. At least you can sit outside.

My pizza was so greasy that I was already full after just three slices. Not much later, the whole mess came back out. Not a pleasant first experience.

Great food, and the grease certainly doesn't drip off the pizza. It was a lot for little money.

Hlad nie hat nie. Those buut'ndiekers are very impressed...... But even then, he said that he was thinner, but less so, that I was not satisfied with how he found it. He said: yes, ma, I'm doing my best, right??!! I said: you shouldn't try your best, You have to know how to do it!!!!

Very friendly staff, good portions and affordable. Definitely recommended if you are in Goes.

If they don't have the drink you ordered (and there are a lot of them), they will just bring you something else without asking. Strange situations here... It also takes a long time before they come to take the order. So not recommended

We ordered 7 drinks, 3 of which were not the drinks requested. First there was a mistake, then we got something different than requested. In the end I was allowed to choose another drink myself. The Italian beer was sold out, the waiter went to bring an Affligem blond from the draft and eventually delivered a Chouffe from a bottle. Toilets were clean.

Do not allow people in wheelchairs

The fat literally drips off the pizzas. Like eating a juicy pizza. Same with the satay, the fat floats on it and the meat is not tasty. Gave 2 stars because the pastas are tasty and the delivery was fast and friendly.

Very tasty food and nice service

Unfortunately it was very busy inside because of the music festival on the square. Wrong timing on our part. Everything else was okay and the food was delicious.

Picked up sea bass in the restaurant. The restaurant itself does not look very inviting to eat. The food we picked up was a large portion and very tasty!

Unfortunately you cannot give zero stars. Ordered today for the first time and for the last time. The order was supposed to be delivered at 5:15 PM, but it turned out to be 5:45 PM when I wanted to call the number on their own site... unfortunately this number is no longer available. The Hawaii pizza was topped with a few slices of ham and the pieces of pineapple could be counted on one hand, the pizza was still partly raw. The quattro stagione was rubbery, the mushrooms burnt and the pizza was stuck to the box. And then you also have to pay €2 delivery costs. Definitely not recommended

There was no one there, but that didn't stop us. Very tasty food and drinks! We were sorry that there were few people, we would highly recommend it to friends!

Mussel pan with fries and sauce for 20 euros. Taste was perfect! Friendly service. The wine glass was well filled and tasted great. The wine costs 4 euros

Ate very tasty pizzas 🍕 and calzones there today. Everything freshly prepared, delicious dough. Were very satisfied. It's nice to sit protected under the parasols on the market square. Would eat there again at any time. Very humane prices. 👍

Instead of apple juice we got orange jus, instead of foccacia tonno we got formaggi!?! Luckily never here again!

De tweede keer dat we bij Al Mercato eten. Wederom lekker gegeten; deze namen we allebei pizza. Actie vandaag, alle pizza's €10. En wat waren ze geweldig lekker. Heel goed belegd en de Calzone bomvol heerlijke ingrediënten.

Eten laten bezorgen en mooi op gekozen tijd geleverd. Alleen jammer dat tussen de tortelloni funghi drie stukken plastic zaten terwijl het niet in plastic verpakt zat... de pizza was meer koud dan warm en de frietjes waren helemaal vol gezogen met vet. Jammer andere keren was het eten echt heel lekker vooral de pizza's.

Vriendelijke bediening, maar niet echt ervaren. Grote zaak, die beetje verwaarloosd lijkt te zijn qua interrieur. Het eten is er goed (niet bijzonder) en ruim voldoende.

Twee weken geleden twee gerechten thuis laten bezorgen: sliptong en pizza. We waren zeer teleurgesteld. Pizza was zeer slecht, met smakeloze en mislukte bodem. Het deeg was duidelijk niet goed: taai en rubberachtig. De sliptong smaakte ook niet geweldig. Voor ons helaas geen succes.

Jij die dit leest, ik kan jullie het echt aanbevelen om lekker te gaan eten en drinken bij Al Mercato. Het is echt super gezellig en lekker.

Malgré une petite attente (le mr au service était seul) , nous avons très bien mangé. La viande tendre et parfaite cuisson. Accompagnement généreux. Personnel très sympathique.

Gisteravond gegeten en ik ga zeker terug komen! Super vriendelijk personeel en het eten was top👍

We moesten veel te lang op onze simpele lunch wachten. Pas na enig aandringen gebeurde er iets. Nog 5 minuten langer en we waren opgestapt. Geen aanrader. Antwoord van eigenaar was dat het druk was. Op het terras was minder dan de helft van de tafels bezet. Waarschijnlijk was het druk met bezorg pizza, dus daar moeten klanten op het terras maar op wachten? Belachelijk! Slechte reclame. Voor ons nooit meer.

Heerlijk gegeten met zeer vriendelijke bediening. Zeker een aanrader. Onthouden voor volgend jaar weer met rondje Zeeland.

Hadden om 1700 besteld en wilde het om 1800 bezorgd hebben het eten werd pas om 1845 bezorgd en was aan de koude kant. Erg teleurstellend.

Ik had al een paar keer besteld en dit was goed bevallen (pizza's) Van de week voor het eerst wezen eten en dat viel heel erg tegen! Personeel vanaf moment 1 erg onvriendelijk en zeer onprofessioneel. Ik snap dat het druk was maar daarbij hoef je niet onvriendelijk te doen en smoesjes te bedenken. Ik had er meer begrip voor gehad als er een eerlijk verhaal werd verteld met minder aditude. De pizza's waren lekker de rest viel tegen en/of was verbrand. Eten komt niet tegelijkertijd.. Erg jammer want ik had dit echt beter verwacht. Hopelijk gaat dit binnenkort beter, het zag er namelijk leuk uit en op een mooie locatie.

Prima gegeten op een heerlijk zonnig terras! Erg jammer dat we een behoorlijk groot stuk plastic in ons gerecht vonden. Na melding hiervan bij de bediening hier vervolgens niets meer over gehoord. Pas na confrontatie tijdens het betalen van de rekening een soort van excuus ontvangen. Beetje jammer.....
