Restaurant De Beren Gouda in Bloemendaal

In de natuur is het prima als de beren de vogels een beetje helpen in het centrum van Gouda lijkt dit mij niet zo’n heel goed plan, voordat ik Berentrek krijg wel eerst graag even aandacht hiervoor!

Zeer teleurstellend heb hier even vanwegen overwerk een sparerib menu gehaald de grote versie meneer achter de balie was zeer vriendelijk daar stopte de prettige ervaring spareribs bleken deels aangebrand ,er zat een lullig klein zakje zoete aardappel bij en belachelijk klein bakje met een hapje rauwkost .dit voor dik 30 euro schaamteloos. Vroeger waren de beren restaurants leuk en goed ik ga hier nooit meer heen dit is oplichting.

Met 1e Paasdag , zonder te reserveren om half 4 bij Beren Gouda gegeten, met mijn man , broer en schoonzus. Alles was super. De bediening , het eten , we konden elkaar makkelijk verstaan , geen harde muziek. Echt voor herhaling vatbaar. Extra dank voor Lieke..was erg klantvriendelijk. Dank voor alles en tot gauwwww. Super gezellig avond gehad. Gingen er spontaan naar toe en werden met een warm welkom ontvangen. Eten was heerlijk! Bediening was vriendelijk en gezellig. Zeker een plek om terug te komen

Food not bad, friendly service, but total chaos regarding the timing of the food. Dishes do not come at the same time for the entire table and took a very long time to arrive at all.

Delicious food yesterday (24-01). Taste was great. The only tip I would like to give is the layout of the chateaubriand. We now received 1 plate with the meat, and a second plate upon request. A tip here is to provide two prepared plates and then a separate serving plate with the chateaubriand on it. The meat was wonderfully tender and it tasted delicious. Compliments to the young lady who served us. She was quick, alert and you could tell she was really trying. Greetings table 16

Nice location for restaurant with friendly staff. Several dirty tables here and there. We had to wait a while for the food itself, but it was tasty. In terms of price/quality ratio, it was too expensive in relation to the food and drinks and the portions. Hence I arrive at a total of 3 stars out of 5

Delicious food and beautiful, cozy restaurant!

Hightea, armoe, erg slecht. Broodje karig belegd, soesjes armoe, rookworst in deeg bij hightea. Geen bonbons . Thee was goed. Zeker niets aan te bevelen.

Restaurant looks nice but is very busy and noisy. Friendly welcome and service was also very nice and polite. Food below par in our opinion. Plates looked like food had been thrown on them. Goat cheese croquettes were very greasy and did not taste like goat cheese. Garlic shrimp tasted like burnt butter/oil. Salmon way overcooked and dry. Fortunately, the crème brûlée was tasty. Little response to our comments on the food.

Bad restaurant, never go here again, tables leave everything in place, don't clear anything, if you order a second time from all you can eat spare ribs you get 1 mini piece about 8 cm and they indicate that when it's gone you can get another mini Order a piece which takes another half hour

Review is mainly because you can't get a glass of tap water with your coffee. "We don't serve tap water" Nothing against the staff from my perspective, this is against the (in my eyes as a customer, mis) policy. Hopefully more will be done with it than words.

Ate here with a large group of friends. This restaurant is always very busy and noisy. Eating with friends is fine. This would not be my preference for a quiet dinner for two. Food was ok. Not special or surprising, but not bad either. Service was fine, adequate and fast.

De Beren Gouda is an excellent restaurant in this chain. Nice staff, you will be helped well and quickly. The food is familiar and almost the same as the other Bears. When you sit inside you no longer notice the location where the fast food restaurants etc. are located.

Dramatic service. Although it was no longer busy, the service was very poor. We only leave the restaurant after 3 hours. No attention to the customer at all. There is no clearing up. (The table is full of empty plates and empty glasses. There was almost no room for dessert plates). Forgot several drinks. Coffee and tea are served 20 minutes after dessert and we could go on like this for a while. Despite a complaint submitted during dinner, no improvement has been seen.

Excellent fast restaurant from the national chain. Simple menu (with all options), fast and friendly service. Quite a spacious restaurant with a (smoking) terrace.

At restaurant De Beren in Gouda we enjoyed a delicious 3-course menu for €32.50. As starters we chose the goat cheese croquettes and gyoza, both tasty and well prepared. The chicken satay and classic burger as main courses certainly did not disappoint; both were tasty and well portioned. The dinner ended with a delicious white chocolate crème brûlée. The value for money was excellent. Highly recommended for a fun and tasty evening out.

Located directly on the street, this restaurant is unfortunately not quite as cozy as hoped. The street noise is blocked out by glass panes outside, but of course not completely. The food was quite tasty and I would come again. The friendly ladies in service were excellent. All very quickly and very hard. Drinks were available after 2 minutes, food was there within 10 minutes of ordering. In addition to the burger, the dessert was also excellent. The espresso was a bit too sour for my taste, but I set a high standard here.

Excellent food and service. Just make sure if you sit inside you don't get a table near the door to the terrace. It is regularly not closed and then you are in a draft until you close it again yourself.

Everything is great, friendly and fast service, excellent food, only the view of a parking lot is slightly less. It's nice that you can park in front of the door for free.

Delicious food... 3 course menu for € 32.50 Gyoza's, Spicy Crispy Chicken and Irish Coffee

After a terrible day I thought I would go to De Beren. First I was cut off sharply by the fire brigade at the dangerous intersection where this branch borders. Too bad, but it can happen to the best. Arriving at the parking lot, I was shocked by the number of Tesla charging stations. I felt the installed electricity network rushing through my body. The endless microwaves made me very nasty and a little bit nauseous. Unfortunately not a very good start. Once seated at a table I was served quickly, a delicious satay with some loaded fries. To my horror I found a hair in my fries. I alerted the clerk and asked for a new one, so it later turned out that it was a grated cancer eel flake! Haha

Good food. The staff friendly. And so easy to have a nice lunch outside the city without parking costs

Nice people working here. Rebranding of De Beren is really interesting and it looks cozy inside. The food is okay, nothing special but good enough. Prices are okay. There’s also a lot of parkingspace nearby, shared with another restaurant. There are plenty of Tesla chargers.

what a display... Today I wanted to come over for lunch and because I have a puppy I kindly asked if he could come inside. A very grumpy girl snapped at me saying that this is not allowed because there is an open kitchen. "No problem" I said and asked if I could sit on the terrace. No, it's closed, I was told. When I asked why I was treated so unfriendly, that was of course not true. I went outside and wanted to sit on the terrace for a while, but when I went inside to ask for the menu, the door was locked, supposedly to prevent the draft. I then left and had lunch somewhere else with super friendly staff. I hope this girl finds a new job soon, because it seems awful to have to do my work in such a mood every day...

Just bears, bears delicious. Friendly staff, really listens. Neat restaurant. The only downside is: Many Tesla parking spaces in front of the door.

Was Good, nice setting, friendly and efficient staff

Just had dinner with the family and it was very tasty. Small tip if you are asked when ordering if you want mushrooms, do so, you cannot live on 1 mushroom cut through. Vegetables very sparse but everything was tasty. And 3 men with 1 jar of mayonnaise is also worth looking at.

Wij waren met vier personen en hebben het 3 gangenmenu genomen. Vooraf geitenkaaskroketjes, tomatensoep en carpaccio. Hoofdgerecht drie keer sate en een keer zalm en als toetje dame blanche. Het eten was heerlijk en ruim voldoende. Een aardige bediening maakte ons etentje compleet.

What a lousy 'apple pie' with some kind of goo sold as whipped cream. For 4 euros for the cake you don't expect butter dough with fresh apples, but you certainly don't expect a wet cardboard bite. The 75 ct whipped cream comes from a spray can from the supermarket. Very little but mainly a wet little goo...

Wat viel dit tegen, de ervaring uit het verleden ( ca 1,5jr gelden) waren veel beter. Een medewerker die alles opdreunt alsof ze tekst uit haar hoofd heeft geleerd. De boabun was knetterhard, nee dat was niet de bedoeling ze zou er melding van maken, niks geen nieuwe bun of ander voorstel. De crispy chicken was niet crispy en de creme brulee was nog bevroren in de kern van het dessert.geen bestek bij aanvang voor gerecht ga zo maar door.de menu kaart is aardig uitgeknepen, je merkt heel erg dat de bezuinigingen zijn effect hebben , meestal is dit het begin van het eind

Food was tasty but the lady who served us was not very nice.

Tip: if the glasses are empty, you can be offered if you want something more to drink ;) Otherwise, this remains one of the better Beren locations in terms of service and quality.

Just had lunch here. Staff acted grumpy because we switched places after people left. Never had bread with carppaccio so bad anywhere. Half a head of lettuce on dry bread topped with carpaccio that just came from the freezer. No sauce so hardly any taste. Won't go back here, mainly because of the grumpy lady who helped us.

Food was delicious. T was too busy for the space. You were in and on top of each other. It took some time for service to arrive and we were placed in a forgotten corner.

Super vriendelijk personeel. Niets is ze teveel. De porties eten worden de laatste tijd wel veel minder. Kl En t koekje bij de koffie is helaas er ook niet bij. De prijzen blijven redelijk maar de kwaliteit helaas niet. T kaasplankje voor 13.50 was echt een aanfluiting. Hoe klein kan je de stukjes kaas maken. Jammer!!!!!!
