At DeBetuwe restaurant, they say what they do and they do what they say. A cozy, homey atmosphere with excellent service. Hats off to the entire team.

Very bad tomato soup was billion and meat not what you expect here really bad

A good, cozy restaurant in the center of Huissen. Beautiful location with excellent food.

For over 20 years, the meat skewers included a baked potato, but they've banned it because "it's an extra step." We had to ask for the accompanying sauces, as well as the house bitterballen (bitterballen). The prices have already gone up twice this year, but they're definitely getting cheaper. We won't be going back because it seems like they're doing too well.

What a lovely restaurant! The service was fantastic. Delicious food! They even have a children's menu. We unexpectedly wanted to come with more people, so they went out of their way to make changes so the six of us could still dine. Thanks! 🤩 We don't understand why there are negative reviews about this restaurant.

Great restaurant, good quality. It's just a shame the menu never changes, especially if you come often.

Had lunch on the lovely terrace with comfortable chairs. Beautiful weather, but plenty of shade. Friendly service. However, the goat cheese toastie was poor: very little cheese and overcooked. The salad was reasonably fresh, but with large chunks of ribs. The ciabatta was small, dripping in pulled pork fat, and looked particularly unappetizing. No salad. So, a very meager six.

Came here for lunch last weekend with lovely weather. Service was fast and friendly. Had delicious tenderloin tips and enjoyed them. All in all had a great day and will definitely come back here

Cappuccino Delicious! 5 stars Apple pie! Dredge 1 Star whipped cream.....chemical! 0 stars, actually embarrassing! You can expect a small catering business to have a whipped cream machine, or a whipped cream machine dde! And otherwise you take a good alternative if it has to be a ready-made can of whipped cream dhollandia bv.

Lovely terrace and friendly service.

After eating at the restaurant in Huissen again years (12 years ago), I immediately noticed that many young people work there. After we received bitterballen from the house and asked what kind of meat was in it, they said it was horse meat, I don't think this should be served😓 We ordered the following: Baguette with duo herb butter + tapenade. Herb butter was of very cheap quality and very soft in structure (more like a sauce) Main course: Salmon fillet Surf and turf Scampi The salmon was of very poor quality and was very dry, so it had to be poured away with a drink. The prawns were of very poor quality and very dry, looked like they had been reheated in a microwave. And now the worst of all, the tenderloin, this was a fiasco, it was so watery that the shrimps suddenly started swimming in it again, and besides that, just like the salmon, it was a very poor quality piece of meat. If you finally come to eat here again after 12 years, it will be an extremely bad experience and we will never come back here. Service was also very inexperienced and did not know where the meat came from or whether it was halal. We had stomach problems afterwards and the toilet was our friend after 2 hours

Service was good and friendly. Came regularly to check if everything was as expected. We were 17 people, everyone got food right away. The food was nice and hot.

We've been coming here for years, just for a quick bite to eat because we didn't feel like cooking. The food was fine, but the last time we got a very small bowl of fries together. We ordered something extra and it turned out to be on the bill for €2.50... Too bad, we never went back.

We had a delicious meal here with a group of 7. It was Saturday evening, the inside of the restaurant and the terrace were packed. Yet fast, knowledgeable and very friendly service. Everything was well organised. Compliments! The atmosphere is cozy and casual, locals come here to eat or just have a drink. Completely acceptable prices.

We have been coming here for years with about 15 people to celebrate my parents' birthday with a dinner and my parents also celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary here, but despite the fact that my parents come to discuss everything personally in advance, the reception upon arrival is very impersonal and not hospitable, too bad! After serving the main courses, the service disappeared without wishing tasty food, so we had no opportunity to ask if someone could take a photo or if we could get something like a drink, extra fries or mayonnaise. The food itself is fine, but getting 2 small bowls of fries for a group of 15 people doesn't help. We ordered extra fries almost at the end and received exactly 1 half-filled container and had to pay 3.50 euros extra for this, which was outrageous. The menu is accessible (meat and fish dishes) and has been the same for years. So there has only been 1 vegetarian main course on the menu for years, it would be nice if there was a choice by adding some more vegetarian dishes.

Nice place located in a small square, with outdoor seating too. Menu with local dishes, we tried the omelettes, good dish. My opinion is always as an Italian accustomed to another type of cuisine. Definitely a good place to stop for something to eat. Prices in the Dutch average.

Great friendly staff and the food is superb

This restaurant is a well-known meeting place in the center of Huissen. It is located on the square where you can sit on the terrace by a beautiful lake in comfortable chairs and watch people walking, cyclists passing by, but also go to the shops surrounding this square. The Huussense Dag is something you should definitely experience! Walk to the floodplains, cycle or by car, motorbike, walk with the ferry to Loo and over the dikes to Westervoort, Duiven or a little further away to Pannerden, Lobith. Cozy location.

The food was delicious! I had pea soup that tasted nice and mild, I don't like salt in my food, salt and pepper mills are on the table so I can always add extra if necessary, but for me it was perfect! The stew was also absolutely fantastic! The soft taste but notes that match beef were clearly visible, I don't know how to explain the flavors :P but it was just great! We got potatoes and fries, with a plate of vegetables consisting of spinach, steamed carrots and cauliflower, we also got a baguette plate with the starter and this also tasted fantastic! You got a lot for the price! The atmosphere was pleasant, many visitors, a bit active but no one shouts you out of the tent, nice and active, I enjoy it when others also enjoy their food, it makes me more hungry. The light was not too bright, perfect and cozy The service was also great! Friendly and patient employees are very important, if I wanted to order a drink in between I received help quickly My apologies for my language problems.

Vanmiddag weer wezen lunchen......altijd wel een plekje ,en altijd lekker. Hier ook vaak gedineerd, ook altijd goed. Hebben al heel lang dezelfde kaart ,maar ja ,wat geeft het. Personeel vriendelijk.....wij komen er erg graag.

Mensen zeer vriendelijk, hadden gereserveerd maar hadden zowel binnen en buiten klaargezet,was vroeg in de middag maar toch geweldig
