Great restaurant/grand café. Delicious food, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere.

It's impossible for someone with mobility aids to enter. Did you forget that I had to put my mobility scooter outside because I couldn't make the turn at the entrance?

I had a delicious lunch with a colleague recently, and the fried egg carpaccio is highly recommended. A very pleasant atmosphere and excellent, friendly service!

The restaurant has a charming and inviting atmosphere. The menu (very limited, the children's menu is truly awful: fries, fries, and more fries), the food, and the service are not recommended for us. The carpaccio was swimming in truffle mayonnaise... No flavor. The main course was also overloaded with pepper, so you couldn't taste the meat... I guess tastes differ, but I wouldn't go back.

Delicious food at a reasonable price. The carpaccio was my starter and the bavette steak was my main course.

After a funeral, we booked lunch here in the "intimate alcove" for larger groups in the corner. It was fantastic. The team even placed a beautiful bouquet of roses on the table with a personal card. You don't get that everywhere. A wonderful experience, a beautiful setting, and staff who really understand the concept of landing first, followed by a drink, and then the menu. Dear Cheyenne (I hope I spelled that correctly) and crew, thank you so much for the personal attention, the delicious lunch, and everything else. Of course, we'd love to come back, but you already knew that, haha.

Delicious food and friendly, good service!

The food is decent. Nice for a weeknight, but definitely not a culinary highlight. I wouldn't eat there again. There are candles burning all night in this restaurant that smell like toilet freshener. My reaction after the owner commented: It's a shame I'm being portrayed as an idiot. I don't argue about the quality of the food during a dinner with friends. But since I'm responding anyway, we wanted Balantines whiskey. The hostess said they didn't have it. We could see from five meters away that there was a bottle behind the bar. She must not know what she's selling...? I ordered a kind of fish stew for my main course. It looked more like soup than a main course, and it had no flavor. The hostess also didn't know what whitefish was in the dish. If you're such a good hostess, you know what's in a dish. The fries weren't cooked through. Now about that annoying candle. In my opinion, a restaurant should smell of food, delicious herbs, freshly baked baguettes, etc. But it shouldn't smell like some kind of toilet freshener. I even made a well-intentioned comment about this when I left the restaurant, but the bartender scolded me sharply, saying, "That candle has been smoking there for three years, and it's just going to stay there." All in all, I think arguing with customers is never a good idea (not even on Google). By the way, I don't care what the owner thinks of my opinion. I'll never eat there again.

Fantastic atmosphere, the decor is very nice, and the servers were super polite and accommodating. We were visiting Barendrecht for the day along with our small dog, looking for some lunch where our dog would also be welcome - this was the place! There were many sandwich options for lunch, and my wife ate the soup. We both enjoyed the food. The price was very reasonable considering the upscale atmosphere. We were pleased, and would surely return if visiting the area again.

We had lunch with four people today, and I recommend removing the sourdough bread from your menu immediately. The crusts are so hard they're so hard you could almost break your teeth. They only seem suitable for carp fishing.

Good place reasonable lunch prices

Invited by son and daughter-in-law for Mother's Day, it was a great lunch, excellent service, very friendly. It was our first time, my son has eaten there before, but it is definitely worth repeating. The points listed are higher than stated. For us, everything was definitely worth a 10.

What a nice and cozy restaurant. We celebrated Father's Day with 10 people in a nice sun on the outdoor terrace. This restaurant is easily accessible and has a nice ambiance, the staff is friendly and professional, the table was neatly set for us. The menu is very extensive and has something to offer for everyone, there is also a children's menu. The food is delicious and prepared with passion and looks very good and not unimportant, it tastes great! The portions are large so you won't leave the table hungry. After another delicious dessert to round it all off, we left the table satisfied, so this restaurant is definitely recommended for a cozy moment and in terms of price quality.

On May 16, eight of us ate there. Perfect service that was very accommodating to dietary requirements and even thought along and put forward ideas. Nothing was too much and everything was possible. Starter, main course and dessert were delicious. All in all, we will definitely come back here again.

The terrace already radiated coziness. And lunch was excellent. A well-filled, delicious piece of bread with bavette and a towering club sandwich. Both taste good, no excessive sauce and lots of greenery. I say great!

didn't eat anything here but only had a drink on the terrace. nice terrace on a somewhat bare square, but the restaurant can't do anything about that. What a restaurant can do something about is serving normal drinks. Coffee was good and Leffe blond was a good beer but ice tea green was not good. No bottles are served here, but a glass half full with ice blocks and probably ice tea from a bottle that was opened the day before. that's what it tasted like and that's what it looked like (not sure of course). From now on I would ask for ice tea without ice so you might get a normal amount. tip for waitress: don't ask again 1 second after the glass is empty if something else can be poured. drives you crazy as a customer.

Had a delicious meal on Christmas Day with 11 people. Nice and spacious seating, top service, nice staff, super chill atmosphere but above all excellent food! Spare ribs, tournedos and then the Chefs Special (diamond tenderloin).....which was fantastic! You almost want to eat the homemade sauce with a straw ;-). Compliments and keep this level high!

Sfeervol restaurant waar je heerlijk kunt eten en niet alleen dineren maar ook zeker geschikt voor een lekkere lunch of borrel. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. En voor ieder wat wils en de toetjes zijn echt een aanrader!!

I had lunch here, the best carpaccio! That was divinely delicious but very much. Fine for a brunch, but if you have breakfast in the morning you won't eat it all. But it's oh so delicious! Recommended

For our wedding day we went to the Three Commandments. What a nice waitress, delicious dishes and super sweet to receive a gift for our wedding day! Highly recommended this restaurant, we had a nice evening, the food was excellent, very tasty!! We ate the Bavette and the chef's special. We would love to come back again!

Cozy restaurant for dinner. No haute cuisine but just a standard menu. The thickened tomato soup was tasty and so was the salmon on toast, but the toast was a bit too thick and hard. My palate protested. The 3 command hamburger, the tenderloin tips and the beef bavette were delicious. And leave room for the very tasty dessert. Service was very friendly and came by regularly.

Very cosy, atmospheric little restaurant with a big terrace out front. Shared a crispy chicken lunch here which was big enough for 2 people and surprisingly flavourful and well-prepared. Inside it looks like a typical Dutch "bruin café" which I love. Just wish the beer menu would match the atmosphere, but it is a bit on the boring side. Would like to come here again for dinner some time.

Vriedelijke bediening, lekkere gerechten, wel beetje karige porties/beleg voor de lunch. Diner porties zijn prima.

Bij dit restaurant had ik een wisselende ervaring. Beginnend bij het eten: de carpaccio geserveerd met oude kaas was een verrassende keuze, maar helaas niet geheel naar mijn smaak. De varkenshaas, hoewel mals en smaakvol, was aan de kleine kant, zeker als je kijkt naar de prijs die ervoor gevraagd werd. Bovendien koos ik voor een bijpassend sausje, maar de hoeveelheid die werd geserveerd was minimaal - nauwelijks één eetlepel. Aan de positieve kant was de bediening uitstekend. Het personeel was behulpzaam en toonde oprechte vriendelijkheid, wat zeker gewaardeerd werd. Alles overwegend zou ik mijn bezoek als 'matig' beschrijven.

Een geweldig restaurant top bediening en heel goed eten

Aan de hand van andere reviews vandaag hier geluncht. Men heeft niet gelogen; het eten is geweldig. Niet alleen was het heerlijk, ook waren de porties ruim voldoende.

Eerste keer gegeten hier terwijl ik al 3,5 jaar in Carnisselande woon. We vonden het lastig kiezen, oftewel: een menukaart die erg goed bevalt met de soort gerechten die erop staan. De bediening was zeer attent en vriendelijk en ook het eten heeft ons goed gesmaakt. Leuke zaak. Sfeervol. Tevens een nette prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding.

Goede kaart, lekker eten, mooi opgemaakt, leuke en gezellige bediening. Sfeer is goed. Altijd jammer dat sigarettenrook via de deur ook naar binnen waait.

Lekker gegeten. Het vlees was erg mals. Verse friet zou het compleet maken voor een 5e ster. Eindelijk gelukt om de nieuwe frieten te proberen 😃 5 e 🌟 verdiend!! Het eten is nog steeds super lekker en de frieten zijn nu ook heerlijk! Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding..super vriendelijke bediening

Leuk en goed restaurant in Barendrecht. 2x binnen 2weken wezen eten. Was alweer een tijdje geleden. Vriendelijk personeel, gemoedelijke sfeer binnen.En een heerlijk terras onder het genot van een heerlijk biertje. Om te lunchen echt een aanrader. Binnenkort maar eens gaan voor het diner.

Wij waren samen aan het winkelen in Barendrecht en zochten een plekje om te lunchen. We hadden dus niet gereserveerd maar dat was geen probleem. We hebben in jaren niet zo lekker geluncht als hier. Het desembrood kwam van een speciale bakker uit de regio, heerlijk! Ik koos voor bavette, heerlijk op smaak met de kruiden en saus! Beiden heerlijk gegeten Complimenten voor de kok!

Update:9/7/22 met 4 personen heerlijk diner gehad, onze gasten waren vol lof over het eten. Ook nu was alles weer keurig geregeld, een zaak waar ze ons vaker zullen zien. De carpaccio, rivierkreeftjes, zalm, bavette, varkenshaas en spareribs waren heerlijk. Update:13/11/22 weer voortreffelijk gegeten, heerlijke saté en zalm, dessert was weer heerlijk. Vriendelijke bediening en een fijne sfeer. Mijn Schoonmoeder was helemaal blij.
