Japans Restaurant Mizumi in Wijk 16 Havenkwartier

The sushi was okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the rice wasn't fully cooked and wasn't warm. When you check for a sushi item, you only get one piece instead of two. There's also a 13- to 15-minute wait before you can reorder. This is a bit too long for the first few rounds. However, the staff was super friendly. The surroundings, especially by the water, were truly beautiful. Depending on the day you go, parking at the restaurant itself can be difficult, but you'll need some luck. This also applies to the surrounding streets.

The food is great and the service is okay. However, charging €32 for tap water is absolutely ridiculous. There were six of us and we mostly drank water, but seriously, it comes out of the tap for pennies. It should be (almost) free, like in so many countries.

A delicious all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. A good price for a quiet, clean place with good food. You don't feel like you're in an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Beautifully decorated, a great location, and wonderfully peaceful. Simply fantastic. Be sure to bring enough battery life with your phone, as ordering is done via a QR code.

Always delicious food (except for the beef, which was incredibly tough). The restaurant itself is very nice. Trendy, yet cozy. The color combinations in the restaurant are fantastic. The menu is extensive. And the food is good quality. The service is fast and friendly. What I do find a shame is that we've been here so often and they still ask if we're familiar with the concept. There's no recognition at all. That's a shame. I don't need to be treated like a princess. Far from it, but recognizing your customers is important. A little chat—that's the kind of thing that's missing here.

We ate here on Boxing Day. The food arrived quickly and tasted delicious. The restaurant was full, but the atmosphere wasn't too crowded. That was very nice.

Sometimes it took a little too long for a dish to be served, and sometimes the hot dishes were cold. Not all orders were received or served correctly. The positive side of things is that the food was very tasty. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was friendly.

It's a shame they no longer serve cocktails and mocktails at Christmas dinner, and we didn't get all the dishes we ordered several times. The banana sushi menu was also missing, which we always enjoy. But all in all, it was a great evening, and we received a nice mini bottle of prosecco upon leaving the restaurant!

The food was delicious, but it was a shame they were so stingy about a small carafe of water. We asked for a glass or carafe of tap water, and they made a fuss about it even though we had already ordered two drinks. The sushi was very tasty, though.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and fast service. Even on a Saturday night, the restaurant was packed. We'll definitely go back!

The food was very disappointing! It had little flavor; the karaage chicken was just small pieces of fried dough with a bit of chewy chicken inside! The sushi came with soggy, wet rice! Not recommended, and everything was served with only ketchup as a sauce! The ice cream was the best of the evening! The online videos made it seem much more promising than it actually was! The interior is nice, but I wouldn't go back for the food, and at checkout, they didn't even ask if everything was to my liking! The price-quality ratio is completely off here!

A lovely place with delicious sushi. The only downside is that we always make reservations well in advance, request a specific table (by the window), and never get one because it's already taken. We ended up with a table right in the middle of the restaurant, which wasn't ideal. Too bad!

Better than most all-you-can-eat restaurants. Beautiful restaurant, nicely decorated, and I can imagine it being by the water could be very nice. Friendly service. Menu as you'd expect. There's an extra charge for the Instagram food with dry ice and such. We had sushi and ribeye rolls with cheese. Noticeably better than the average restaurant with this concept. I think this is the maximum this concept can achieve. Next up is a real Japanese sushi restaurant, and therefore different prices. But it's still all-you-can-eat sushi, although the good marketing on Instagram gives you the impression that it's a high-end sushi restaurant. Great!

We went to Mizumi for dinner for the first time today. It wasn't a good experience. The food was cold and seemed stale. We've had much better food, and we definitely won't be back. It was the first and last time. However, the service was okay, and the atmosphere was also nice. It's a shame about the food.

Delicious food, fast and friendly service. Downside: too dark, needed a phone flashlight to read the menu. Also, the music was too loud.

The food is pretty good. But the staff is really subpar. I received the wrong order several times at the table. Communication is difficult. You place orders via your phone using a QR code. So, if you want a pleasant evening without your guests being on their phones (like the rest of the guests), I wouldn't go there. But all in all, it's a nice place with reasonably good food.

We ate here with the family last Friday. At first, we really liked it; it's a beautiful location and a nice atmosphere. We didn't like the chicken at all; it tasted like plastic, and the fried mushrooms too. Soon, the symptoms (vomiting/diarrhea) started that same evening with our first family member, and the rest followed. Everything came out...it's been three days now, and we're still feeling down. It's a shame, what should have been a wonderful experience turned into a nightmare for us.

I come back here very often. It's a half-hour drive from my hometown. We have many sushi restaurants nearby, but I keep going back to this one. It has a nice atmosphere, and it looks especially beautiful in the summer. Delicious food and lots of choices. And really tasty cocktails!

Drove 2 hours to this restaurant because of TikTok videos...don't fall for it...Super bad food...sushi dry and tough with won mayonnaise for the sushi, chicken dry lukewarm/cold prawns tasted stale, everything with ketchup.... Service throws plates on the table...Bubble tea tastes like cleaning fluid....We got really sick from it....They don't answer the phone or emails.

Had dinner here with friends after a long time. It took some getting used to, adjusting to having to place your order on your phone. We did have to wait until everyone had placed their order! The atmosphere is good, and the staff is friendly. There's a difference in taste between the dishes. That's sometimes different at other Japanese AYCE restaurants. It's just a shame the city decided to completely overhaul the square...but the restaurants can't do anything about that.

A really great restaurant, with excellent sushi and a beautiful atmosphere. Unfortunately, due to the unexpected crowd on a Sunday evening, there wasn't enough staff. I'd recommend moving the tables in the back corner a bit further apart. We were a bit bothered by our neighbors. Despite that, we received excellent service afterward!
