We had lunch with 20 people to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary; compliments on the service. The lunch was overwhelming. In a word: highly recommended.

Good food and a pleasant location. Unfortunately, the cutlery (knife) wasn't clean, and we pointed this out.

Everything is fine except for the parking lot. You actually need an SUV. If you went there with a clean car, you could go straight to the car wash.

What a lovely restaurant this is. I will definitely be back here. There were eight of us, the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed myself, especially the fried potatoes. Where do they still have those these days? Just one small downside: my cod was just a little too dry. But otherwise, no complaints at all.

Nice terrace and extensive menu

A very successful family dinner to celebrate a 30th wedding anniversary, birthday, and retirement. Great menu and service. Also suitable for small children due to the lovely outdoor area with animals, playground equipment, and a lawn.

Super beautiful location! And it had a nice, cozy atmosphere. However, my starter was larger than my main course, so that surprised me a bit. Otherwise, a nice place to eat.

Loades fries with chicken was unfortunately disappointing. The chicken was tough and tasted stale. The meal salad, pasta, and chicken was bland and dry. The toasted sandwich was fine, but the frikandel with fries wasn't tasty. The atmosphere was fine. The service could have been faster; I constantly had to ask the staff to order something. The food was mediocre and very expensive. 70 euros for lunch is quite pricey.

The food was good, but quite pricey. Lunch for 30 euros per person is a bit steep. We wanted to eat outside, but our wrestling mats were still wet. We also had to ask for cutlery when the food was brought. It could all be better.

Had a delicious meal last night at this beautiful location in Barendrecht. Situated by the lovely Zuidpolder, where you can enjoy a wonderful walk. The food was good, although the chicken satay was a bit simple and the chicken wasn't really very tender. The spareribs, however, were very tasty, with the meat falling off the bone. The service was very friendly and efficient. The ambiance was very atmospheric. Tip: it is also a wedding venue... Definitely worth stopping by here for a nice meal!!

Had a lovely lunch with my girlfriend. Ordered fish at Het Polderzichtje. Delicious fish soup to start and 3 very tasty sandwiches with salmon, a shrimp croquette, salmon, and tuna salad. For dessert, cappuccino, beautifully presented with a glass of whipped cream, a little liqueur, and a glass of water. We each ordered a delicious chocolate bonbon to go with it.

Visited again on August 22nd for dinner. Delicious food, fast service, and friendly staff. Had another great evening. Visited for breakfast on June 21, 2026 for Father's Day and it was delicious and enjoyable. Tasty food, hospitable, and helpful. Highly recommended!! Visited again last night, October 26th, for dinner with 7 people. What a lovely atmosphere and nice staff! And the food was delicious, though way too much. Would recommend it to everyone! Delicious food, super friendly staff. Yes, it sometimes takes a bit longer, but that isn't very surprising when the terrace is full and people are even queuing for a spot. As far as we are concerned, highly recommended. Enjoying all the delicious food at your leisure. The selection is extensive and the quality is top-notch. 4 large parking lots a short walk away. Dinner was also great. Good portions and delicious dishes.

Very beautiful location, tastefully decorated, and super service. The food was very good. Parking was further away and the road had a lot of potholes. That is the only downside.

A very pleasant experience. Beautiful surroundings, the atmosphere (on the terrace) is relaxed, the lunch was very tasty, and the service was friendly. For us, the only downside was that smoking was allowed on the terrace and we happened to be seated exactly between two tables with smokers.

The food and drinks are good, the service is friendly, and it is a nice place to sit both inside and on the terrace. It is a pity that the answer to the question of whether I can get a bowl of water for the dog is a decisive "no". There is water... Indeed, yes, in the sun... way too hot to drink...

In our experience, there was too little staff. Ordering a drink took 20 minutes for the food to arrive, the same applied when ordering a drink upon arrival. Food arrived after the food was finished, and ice cream took 30 minutes after ordering. Very disappointing.

Just put out a jug of tap water…. There were 3 women and 2 of us had to take medication… 7.75 isn't fun anymore… otherwise, the food was delicious!

The staff do their best in a friendly manner, but unfortunately, the rest is somewhat less successful. We sat outside on a terrace that was so rickety that your knife and fork almost moved by themselves. On the menu, they promise a complete ocean of fish and seafood with the fish soup. In practice? Zero. Nothing. Zilch. At most, the fish swam past once to wave. I honestly thought I had been given the tomato soup by accident. The chicken fillet was supposed to be stuffed, but turned out to be mostly very dry with some green herbs on top. Where the stuffing went remains a mystery to this day. The cannoli was the absolute highlight of culinary deception. Cannoli are supposed to be fried dough. What did I get? Two chewy little rolls of pure bulletproof caramel and nuts. One upside: I don't have to eat for the next three days, because the caramel is still cemented firmly between my teeth. Moreover, the 'pistachio ice cream' tasted like a chemical riddle that I would rather not have solved. The pork knuckle and the schnitzel were 'okay', but to shell out well over €180 (!) for three people, I really expect there to be actual fish in my fish soup and for my teeth to survive the dessert.

Cozy restaurant, friendly staff. The food is exquisite, even for people who need to eat gluten-free. It is a pity for outdoor seating that tables cannot be joined together, so that is a bit of a shame for a larger group. But otherwise, it wasn't a problem for us.

It was very pleasant. We, grandpa and grandma and 3 children, were welcomed warmly. We were allowed to sit at the table half an hour earlier than agreed (5:00 PM instead of 5:30 PM). The food and everything else were perfect. One minor downside (which we had been pointed out during the reservation) was that a large group of adults with children was seated very close to us, and the children were making a lot of noise. But we will definitely be back.

We went out for dinner yesterday (Sunday) for my wife's birthday. The food, service, staff, and location were top-notch. We are very satisfied with them, just like the first time.

Nice location with some walking opportunities. The food is very tasty. The terrace has a somewhat straightforward layout and isn't very atmospheric. Inside, however, it is cozier. The coffee is good, so it's fine for something to eat and drink.

Cozy restaurant and good food. However, if you order water, they don't point out the tap water option, so you end up with bottled water that is ridiculously expensive. 2 bottles are well over 15, which I find a bit bizarrely expensive.

We were surprised there was a malfunction so no drink orders could be taken? Ridiculous, then there is such a thing as pen and paper!!! Very bad!!! I really hope you see this as constructive criticism! Then serving lunch with large groups: you start with the cold dishes first, then the hot ones!! But first came the hot brie and hot chicken followed by some tuna and croquettes??? When everyone was served!! So the chicken and Brie were cold!!! This is also an area where there is definitely room for improvement! People create the atmosphere themselves, so everyone enjoyed themselves despite the heat.. And the food was fine The ice cream was bad ice cream in ice cream is old or stored incorrectly. Serving coffee and when that is finished the glass of liqueur with whipped cream also starts the other way around - a tip! Recommendation for larger groups certainly not !! Had a lovely lunch here. Celebrated our first wedding anniversary together. It was quite noticeable that we had been together for 76 months. Lunch tip: Zeezichtje is definitely recommended, and my wife had the carpaccio and the soup of the day with mustard. They had mist sprayers on, making it a very pleasant place to be.

We had made a reservation to come for dinner with a small group for my birthday. They had decorated the table with balloons, which was very nice. We all enjoyed a delicious starter, main course, and dessert. In between courses, our daughter had a wonderful time playing on the new playground equipment. We sat in the conservatory with the air conditioning on. It was a successful dinner. The service was super friendly.

We wanted to order a glass of wine, a beer, nachos, and some nuts. We don't like to complain, but the wine was really too small, so my wife pointed that out and was told that was it. Our neighbors agreed with us that this was ridiculous. When I asked inside for a proper glass of wine, the manager (she was apparently serving us) told me that my wife should just order something else. What a disgrace. And again, it doesn't have to be a full glass, but this was just really substandard. We skipped the food and had a fine glass of wine and snacks in the center of Barendrecht afterwards. So, unfortunately, Polderzicht was not a good experience for us.
