Atmospheric location, unfortunately a limited menu. The delicious "uitsmijter" (outside sandwich) "Polderzicht" wasn't on the menu.

As always, it was simply excellent! The food is delicious and the price/quality/quantity ratio is good. The staff is friendly and professional.

The food is delicious. We happened to be seated in a relatively quiet spot, which was great. Tip: ask for a quiet spot because the tables inside are close together. Definitely recommended!

Very busy but that's a good sign.

The service was slow, from taking drinks to bringing them to the table. The coffee ran out well before dessert arrived. It was far from full, so that wasn't the problem. The ladies regularly broke dishes and were busy behind the bar. The grand dessert for three was very mediocre. The fresh pineapple was spoiled, and a pink cream in a jar was lumpy and tasteless. For these prices, I really expected better.

We had a delicious meal, and the service was very friendly. We were a bit startled by the dog lying on the floor right next to our table due to an allergy. After a polite request to the dog's owner, he was moved to the other side of the table. I did end up coughing, which was annoying for me and the other guests. Perhaps a way to allow the dog to stay in an outdoor area?

The atmosphere and welcome were excellent. It was a shame the food arrived within 10 minutes, which detracted from the quality. The salad was clearly refrigerated, and the hot chicken was lukewarm upon serving. The crispy chicken was actually cut into pieces. Unfortunately, it wasn't what I expected; it wasn't very fresh.

The food was delicious, but we had to wait a relatively long time for it to arrive. The drink service could also have been a bit more attentive to our table. There were a few details that could have been improved, such as the dessert where little to no fat was used, causing the cookie to stick to the plate.

Had a delicious high tea with colleagues. Everything was freshly made, plentiful, and incredibly well-organized. Dietary requirements were well-regarded. The place was festively decorated for Christmas.

Unfriendly to animals. Dirty, filthy water at the entrance to the terrace. After I commented on this, the waiter replied that it wasn't changed at this time of year. It was a sunny autumn day and the terrace was quite busy. I canceled my drink and left. Missed opportunity, Polderzicht, because I definitely planned to do this more often. It wouldn't have been that much trouble to change the water daily or just put out a bowl of water!

Went for dinner for the first time last night. What a lovely place! I'd been there for lunch before, but in the evening, the atmosphere was quite different. What immediately struck me was the dedicated staff. Very friendly and helpful. If the service was a bit busy, the bartender would gladly step in. If a server dropped something, they'd come flying in from all directions and the place would be cleared and cleaned up quickly. A well-oiled machine. We had the tenderloin and the tenderloin, and they were perfect. Good portions of food. The bread beforehand, the cold cuts platter, and the carpaccio were also very good. Then there's the service. We were helped by Evie, who is a true gem in the hospitality industry. That's the kind of person you want to have as the face of your business. Friendly, quick, and straightforward, a true hospitality tiger. Kudos to the service. They made it perfect. In short, we had a fantastic evening. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommended if you haven't been here yet. I'll definitely be back. Update: We ate again last night. This time, thanks to the good weather, we sat on the terrace. What a lovely and spontaneous team they have working there. It was incredibly busy, but it still ran like clockwork. Great to see. We had a good meal and another lovely evening there. We went again last night, October 26th, for dinner with seven people. What a lovely atmosphere and great staff! The food was delicious, but way too much. I would recommend it to everyone! Delicious food, super friendly staff. Yes, it sometimes takes a little longer, but that's not surprising when the terrace is full and there are even people queuing for a spot. We highly recommend it. It's wonderful to relax and enjoy all the delicious food. There's plenty of choice and the quality is excellent. Four large parking lots are a short walk away. Dinner was also fantastic. Good portions and delicious dishes.

We had a wonderful time together. A lovely spot in the conservatory with a "Polder View." The vegetarian dishes were delicious and generously portioned. Delicious desserts and teas!

The high tea was very extensive and delicious! The selection was a little different from other high teas, which made it extra special. The view over the polder completed the experience.

The food and service were, as always, very good, friendly but not pushy and the atmosphere is calm.

A great addition to Barendrecht for a drink or a bite to eat after a walk. Very friendly, non-intrusive service and a beautiful view. Beautiful and clean, spacious restrooms. We had delicious coffee and tea with delicious fresh cakes and sandwiches. There's also a small nursery where you can buy plants and other items. The teahouse also sells various tea and tableware items. This is our umpteenth visit, this time for lunch with a Polderzicht hamburger (see photo) and Leffe beer, followed by a cappuccino with homemade hazelnut cake.

As always, we had a delicious lunch, with friendly service and a great atmosphere. We think the two-person tables inside the restaurant are really too close together.

The food was fine again. Our waitress was rather grumpy. Too bad.

There was a horrible sewer smell. I'm still nauseous four hours later. The place really should have been closed. Absolutely unacceptable.

Normally a great place, but unfortunately, they had a sewer problem, so we decided not to eat there due to the odor. It would have been helpful if Polderzicht had informed us about this. We had a reservation, so our details were known.

Went for lunch with four friends. It was wonderful on the terrace with the male waiters. Two of us ordered salmon and two spicy chicken. The spicy chicken tasted more like sweet and sour chicken, but I thought I'd pass. Only, the drive home from work was a disaster for both of us: acute stomach cramps, and we changed our schedules so we went home immediately. The cramps lasted for at least four hours for both me and my friend, along with severe diarrhea. I think there was something wrong with the chicken. We emailed them about it but got a strange response, so I'm writing this review.

I went for lunch with a friend this afternoon. The weather was beautiful, so we were able to put our reservation outside. It's a lovely place to sit in the sunshine. We were able to enjoy our coffee at our leisure and savor a delicious lunch. Afterwards, we had a leisurely drink. It's nice to be able to sit somewhere where no one looks away. Keep up the good work!

Always fantastic here, both inside and on the patio. We were able to accommodate a large group on short notice, and the service was very friendly! The service is very friendly; nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent, and there's a nice playground for the grandchildren.

The young staff was frequently pacing back and forth without maintaining a clear overview. This can happen at such busy times. It was eventually resolved. Drinks didn't arrive until half of the lunch was finished. This, too, lacked coordination.

Delicious food on a beautiful, private, green terrace. Price/quality ratio is reasonable to good; portions could be a bit larger. Highly recommended, especially in nice weather. Pest control and a cooling mist have also been installed. Children's play equipment is in a separate area.
