A bit of a difficult start because our table was still occupied, but after that it went like clockwork.

Incredibly attentive staff. We've loved coming here for years. Delicious lunch or drinks platter. Great coffee. The cakes are amazing. Beautiful location with a lovely atmosphere. Recently, we enjoyed a high tea with family. According to everyone at our table, it was the best they'd ever had. Truly fresh and flavorful. A solid 10+. Definitely recommended!!!

We visited Restaurant Polderzicht for the first time. It was lovely in the early evening on the terrace with the warm sun. The service was quick and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff member who served our table was a friendly young man who easily engaged in conversation. We started with a bread board with freshly baked, warm bread. The chicken satay was made with real fillet, not chicken thigh, which I preferred. My wife had the vegetarian quiche. It was tasty, but the crust could have been a bit crispier. It was soggy. A fresh salad and good fries were served on the plates! 😉 and the delicious fried potatoes were more than enough. The grand dessert (for two people) was sublimely delicious and far too much, but that's what we like to see… half went in a doggy bag. The coffee was hot and served with care, along with a cookie, water, and a dollop of whipped cream with a coffee liqueur. Excellent! The staff member was very polite and attentive when presenting the bill. A generous tip was therefore appropriate. All in all, a great experience, and we'll definitely be back. Give it a try. Highly recommended.

Delicious food. Friendly staff. It was busy, so service sometimes took a while. There were a lot of wasps outside, though; there are plenty of wasp traps, and they're there for a reason.

A great spot in the Zuidpolder. Spacious, cozy, with a conservatory and patio. Dogs are welcome. Delicious food and plenty of choice. We visited with five family members to round off our vacation. Afterwards, you can enjoy a lovely walk with the dogs. Perhaps Polderzicht will become the location where we continue our annual tradition.

A lovely restaurant where you can sit inside or outside. Friendly service and delicious food. They also serve delicious high tea. (You can also buy tea here.) You can park your bike nearby. It's a short walk from the car park.

Lunch with my in-laws. What a lovely restaurant. Good food and large portions. We enjoyed a coffee on the terrace afterward and then headed home. The menu is extensive, both food and drinks. Something for everyone.

Had a wonderful meal in a prime location! (Tuna salad bun and the chicken club sandwich) We initially sat outside on the lovely terrace, but because of a pesky wasp, we moved inside. This was no problem. Fast, friendly service. Drinks were served quickly after ordering. Great place!

Delicious food, beautiful location!

We ate with 4 people and our complaint about the by-products, namely soggy fries, was passed on to the chef, who replied, "That's how we get them delivered." So we didn't eat them. Dessert wasn't quite right either; 2 desserts were already gone; after we pointed this out, the other 2 desserts arrived. Unfortunately, the attention waned as the evening progressed.

Just had another delicious lunch, so many delicious flavors on one plate. I've eaten here so many times and it's been great every time, something that doesn't happen often. Very nicely decorated for Christmas and nice and warm. And what a lovely staff, very well thought out in case of allergies so much appreciated. Even ran after us because my husband left his phone🙈

It's always nice to eat somewhere where everything is perfect. The location is nice, the atmosphere is good, the food is delicious, and... the staff is knowledgeable. Young people who go above and beyond to serve their guests well. So it's still possible! Kudos to the management for selecting this young adult and for apparently managing their tasks effectively. The lady who helped us wasn't very friendly. It was a bit dull. Maybe nice for lunch.

We had Polderzichtje [a 12-hour meal], which was disappointing for the price at €22.75, and the soup was too big. Two dry mini rolls and a lot of lettuce with a lot of corn. The "hot" chicken was delicious, and that was quite a good portion for the price. We also had tuna on bread, which was quite dry and again, a lot of lettuce with corn stew. But we will definitely come back again. The setting and location are beautiful and cozy, and there was plenty on the menu to try.

Went for dinner for the first time last night. What a lovely place! I'd been there for lunch before, but in the evening, the atmosphere was quite different. What immediately struck me was the dedicated staff. Very friendly and helpful. If the service was a bit busy, the bartender would gladly step in. If a server dropped something, they'd come flying in from all directions and the place would be cleared and cleaned up quickly. A well-oiled machine. We had the tenderloin and the tenderloin, and they were perfect. Good portions of food. The bread beforehand, the cold cuts platter, and the carpaccio were also very good. Then there's the service. We were helped by Evie, who is a true gem in the hospitality industry. That's the kind of person you want to have as the face of your business. Friendly, quick, and straightforward, a true hospitality tiger. Kudos to the service. They made it perfect. In short, we had a fantastic evening. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommended if you haven't been here yet. I'll definitely be back. Update: We ate again last night. This time, thanks to the good weather, we sat on the terrace. What a lovely and spontaneous team they have working there. It was incredibly busy, but it still ran like clockwork. Great to see. We had a good meal and another lovely evening there. I've had lunch at Polderzicht several times and have always been satisfied. This time, I went for dinner for the first time. Dinner was delicious, except for the fries. We started with a sandwich, deliciously fresh from the oven and served with herb butter, tapenade, and olive oil. Very tasty and very fresh. For my main course, I had spareribs, which were truly delicious. I dare say I've never had better. We also had tenderloin steak and a children's schnitzel, which were also excellent. With the spareribs and tenderloin steak, we got a shared portion of fries and potatoes. A large portion for two people, but the potatoes were delicious. The fries, however, are a real drawback. Soggy, brown, and not tasty. They either fry them in old oil or re-fry old fries, which is really bad. The place itself is very nice, especially for children. There's a small playground on the terrace, surrounded by a fence. And children can also watch the goats. It's very nicely laid out, and the terrace is very inviting with friendly staff. All in all, definitely recommended, but the fries are one star off.

There's a limited selection of spirits (no Malibu, no Grand Marnier, no Campari). If you want a glass of water (for medication), they won't give it to you even though you order another drink. I had to ask three times for two drinks. The service is friendly but very inexperienced. The specialty mussels were absolutely inedible. The rest of the food was decent. It's a shame, because the location and surroundings are excellent.

The restaurant is beautiful, too. And, importantly, the food was delicious. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

After having enjoyed many delicious meals here, I had a spicy grilled cheese sandwich today. I took one bite and nearly choked. There was so much sambal on it, it was absolutely insane! Half a grilled cheese sandwich had a tablespoon of sambal on it. I mentioned it to the owner himself, but he didn't even react. I found that unbelievable! It's such a shame these days that even the owner shrugs his shoulders at this. I have asthma, and I was gasping for air. I'm not coming back here again.

Today, the three of us "former colleagues/friends" thoroughly enjoyed a delicious lunch. All three enjoyed a delicious, well-filled, fresh salad. Friendly service, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent.

We had dinner at Polderzicht this afternoon. The service was very attentive and friendly. The sole were perfectly flavorful, and the freshly fried potatoes (along with the fresh fries) were also delicious. Most restaurants only serve fries, so these tasty potatoes were a welcome and appreciated addition to the dinner! The staff stopped by to check on everything during the meal. We finished the meal with a delicious cappuccino and some house treats. It's the little details that make a dinner truly special. In short, highly recommended!

As always, it was simply excellent! The food is delicious and the price/quality/quantity ratio is good. However, it was busy, which made it a bit noisy and difficult to hear other people talking.

We had a wonderful lunch in a beautiful, charming, and cozy location. Friendly staff, plenty of food on your plate. Ordering more wasn't a problem either. And if you still have room left, a slice of raspberry tart is highly recommended. It was so delicious!

The crispy chicken salad was extremely disappointing. Instead of the delicious chicken with mushrooms and bell peppers, there was a cheap, breaded, factory-made schnitzel chopped into pieces in the lettuce.

We had a delicious meal. Good enough for a cafe, but not good enough for a restaurant. The service was prompt and friendly. But what's incredibly irritating is the attitude of the person running the restaurant. Eating outside with a group of eight isn't possible because putting tables together isn't allowed. Why? Because then the staff would have to put the tables back. The attractive conservatory wasn't possible, as a large group had apparently been there. And even though everything had long since been cleared away and emptied by the time we arrived, the conservatory remained empty. If you have such a hard time pleasing your guests, you simply don't have the skills to handle hospitality and catering! Such a shame.

Ordered nachos. Cost 10.50 for a lousy little bowl. Ridiculous. There's no description of what's in them either. It had chili sauce on it. Super sweet. I pointed it out, and the waitress asked what it was. Never came back with an answer. Last time I went. What you pay for is what you get. Bizarre. I just got a reply from Polderzicht, and I didn't ask for a refund or anything like that. Your message makes it even more unprofessional. I told your colleague, who was a woman, that it would be better if they listed the ingredients on the menu. My daughter, who ordered it, didn't like it. I ate some because I felt it was a shame to leave it. The ridiculously small bowl of nacho chips with a dollop of cream and a dollop of guacamole with a dash of chili sauce for 10.50. I would also approach my clients differently if I'd had such a conversation or read such a review. Have a nice day!

It's just a shame that if you wrap bread for fries, the bread isn't deducted, but you do have to pay extra for the fries. Unfortunately, they don't tell you that.

It's a cozy terrace, friendly staff, and the food is okay, although I find it a bit pricey. €45 including tip for 2 sandwiches and 4 drinks (non-alcoholic) (that's like 100 guilders in the old days). Yes, I know those days are long gone, but still, for 2 sandwiches. Just back from France, where you can practically get a 3-course meal for that.

Lovely terrace. I had the 12-hour fish. My girlfriend had the 12-hour meat. Not cheap...but worth it. I'll definitely go back because there were so many delicious things on the menu!

Great location and good food. We found the young lady's service unfriendly, as we read in a previous review. It's a shame they're not working on that. Otherwise, it's a great restaurant. The music inside was a bit loud. One thing to keep in mind is the very small tables for two people. When ordering mussels, they don't fit, and you have to stack them or use the windowsill as an extension. We hope to see more enthusiastic service on our next visit.

We had dinner outside on the cozy, green and spacious terrace. The food was all delicious and nothing to complain about. The only point we have were the very mediocre Pinacoladas that were very watery with little taste because of the amount of ice in them and for that price you expect a bit more.

I ate here, very nice staff. Starter came fairly quickly, main course took a bit longer. When it finally came, both dishes were lukewarm to almost cold. Very unfortunate. That while I had such a good experience before.
