Nice, generous portions, great flavors, friendly service, and plenty of choice. Everything was great!

Unfortunately, I was recently at your place with a group of seven people and a two-year-old child. We had to wait over two and a half hours for our main course. The people next to us had already started their dessert. We asked several times where our food was, and the last answer was, "8 more minutes." It took more than 20 minutes. It's very difficult to keep a two-year-old calm at such times. We left in anger after the main course because the mother and child had taken theirs. P.S. The waitress needs a course in customer service!

We cycled in spontaneously and ended up at this lovely, cozy terrace. We had a surprisingly good meal, and they served plenty of extras. The service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommended!

Yesterday we had a party at the Heeren van Dordt. There was a hot and cold buffet and a dessert buffet. My table companions were very pleased with the quality of the food. There was also more than enough choice and availability. I myself ate gluten-free. It was very well organised. Specially prepared dishes for me. Even gluten-free fries, which gave me the feeling that they really knew what they were doing (which is not the case everywhere). Among other things, we had a steak with a fantastic pepper sauce. That alone would make you come back. If I have to give a point of criticism, it was a lot for 1 person... So not good for the figure....

A beautiful restaurant with a varied menu. The soups are delicious nndt as are the mushrooms in a jacket. The main course is served with fried potatoes and fries, today with a cucumber salad and mango/apple sauce. There was no room left for dessert.

Given the reviews I thought I would find a great place. But that was disappointing. The service was not very courteous. My cutlery came with a crumpled napkin in it. The mustard soup was much too salty. The croquettes were either fried in fat that was much too hot and I think very old fat. I hesitated whether I would eat them and unfortunately I did. But I should have sent them back. The shop itself is very nice in terms of decoration. When clearing the rafel I said that I did not like the croquettes and that they would be passed on. Disappointment: I will not come here again. The quality is simply disappointing.

Nice restaurant, although darkly decorated, but it really does feel medieval. They take you into account if you have type 2 diabetes and really ask what you want. So my wife had the pork tenderloin skewer. They came specifically to report that it had been marinated and therefore contained sugar. She made one special with salt and pepper. How boring, but so sweet. Spare ribs for me were great. Wednesday, so I ate 2 racks. My son ate the baguette basket. All very well. Recommended. Only an 8-minute drive from Landal Vlinderhoeve.

Een typisch dorpssfeer restaurant. Het eten was minder, met name vanwege de zwartgebrande ossehaaspuntjes. Ik snap niet dat er nog steeds restaurants zijn die vlees van de grill vooral zwart laten worden als blijk van misplaatste ambachtelijkheid. Het is behoorlijk ongezond en je houdt als klant een stuk minder eetbaar vlees over, als je de zwartgeblakerde buitenkanten er van afgesneden hebt. Het bakje overbekende koolsalade als bijgerecht, zat stevig in de mayonaise. De frites waren slap, smakeloos en overleden. De pepersaus was heerlijk. Daarnaast hadden we flamkuchen. Ze hadden vooraf wel kunnen vertellen dat 'flam' echt inhoudt dat het door de vele pepers een (on)behoorlijk pittig gerecht is. Gelukkig was het schaaltje met lekkere appelmoes daarvoor een welkom blusmiddel voor de mond. De dessertkaart bood volgens ons te weinig keuzemogelijkheden om het etentje toch nog met een plus af te kunnen sluiten. Voor ons komt dit restaurant niet meer op onze eetkaart.

Het eten was erg smakelijk en (meer dan) genoeg. Geen klachten daarover. Echter de prijs van de wijn is te hoog, zowel in verhouding tot andere vergelijkbare restaurants als tot de kwaliteit. De verdejo sauvignon blanc was redelijk, de pinot grigio zeer middelmatig. Hopelijk verandert dit snel, een goede wijn is toch zeker zo belangrijk als een heerlijke maaltijd.

This is a restaurant you would wish for in every village. Not too much fuss, but a good product and large portions. Keeping up with the times with local products, cocktails and original side dishes (included with your main course). Price/quality is also just fine. Furthermore, I will probably slowly forget this restaurant, I am not going to praise it more than what it is, but one day I will probably remember it with nostalgia in another village restaurant.

Delicious food! Friendly service and we didn't have to wait long. We received baguette with 3 spreads in advance. Humor in the menu with special names of dishes. Mustard soup delicious and well filled, “letting off steam” was also very good. Large portions, good to know if you are not a big eater!😉 The main courses also included many different attachments and we regularly checked to see if anything needed to be added. The meat was tasty! We enjoyed it and we will definitely come back again.

Have a drink on the terrace on Friday afternoon and make a reservation on Saturday afternoon. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent. Good price-quality ratio and cozy terrace.

Food was very good, we can especially recommend the spare ribs. The names of the dishes are in the dialect on the menu (description in Dutch). They use a lot of regional products, which certainly improves the taste. We spent about 40 Euro per person with 3 people (main course + dessert + 2 drinks per person). And this was definitely worth it.

Excellent hot and cold buffet. And new drinks every time. Excellent service, very friendly. Beautiful surroundings. And a small playground for the youngest. Enough parking. 2nd assessment: now used the Tasting. Very extensive range. Various starters, two types of soup. Four types of grilled meat and a buffet. Another dessert afterwards. This is allowed all year round instead of just the winter season. 😁

The service was chaotic. Forgot the amuse, a spoon for the soup. The fries served were not nice to look at. The taste was good.

Ik ben er wel vaker geweest om op zaterdag te lunchen met een vriendin. Nu was er een vrouwelijke kok die er vast niet veel vaker werkte. Duurde lang voordat het eten kwam. Andere keren was het eten lekkerder. Mijn vriendin had hetzelfde gerecht als die keer ervoor. Was heel anders klaargemaakt.

Heerlijke avond gehad. Lekker gegeten in een sfeervol en gezellig restaurant. De inrichting is wat ouderwets, maar op een positieve manier. Super gastvrije bediening. Denken met je mee en doen net dat stapje extra om er een leuke avond van te maken. Echt een aanrader!

Familie Reünie gehouden in het kleine zaaltje. Knus en gezellig. Heerlijk warm en koud buffet gehad. Goede kok. En fijne snelle bediening.

Snap niet goed waar deze 4,5 ster gemiddeld vandaan komt, want het eten wat we op hadden was ronduit matig. De schnitzel was droog en heel vet. Frietjes waren ok en de rabarber was lekker. Het bakje sla zat de stronk in, tja die eten de konijen nog niet eens. Bediening was vriendelijk en de plek waar je zit is aan de straat met redelijk wat verkeer. Al met al een teleurstellende ervaring. 2 sterren

Erg leuk restaurant , heel lekker gegeten. Al een tijdje vindt ik restaurants tegenvallen maar De Heeren van Doth was echt voortreffelijk. En ook nog eens betaalbaar.

Zeer teleurstellend. Altijd prima geluncht. Regelmatig een broodje zalm gegeten met een prima knapperig broodje. Dat prima knapperige broodje is vervangen door een zogenoemde ‘Bathmense baguette’, gelijkend op een slecht afgebakken minibaguette. Terwijl de prijs omhoog is gegaan, is de kwaliteit en hoeveelheid verminderd. Vreselijk jammer. Even teleurstellend was de onverschillige reactie van de serveerster toen ik ter plekke voor de tweede keer mijn teleurstelling liet blijken.

Heerlijk op het terras een erg smakelijke vega maaltijd met linzen, bladerdeeg en curry gegeten. Bediening was uiterst vriendelijk en vlot. Goed eten voor schappelijke prijs. Een aanrader.

Regelmatig geluncht en altijd zeer tevreden. Inmiddels hevig teleurgesteld. Het broodje onder het broodje zalm lijkt op een minibaguette die slecht is afgebakken. Voor 11,50 euro mag je toch iets anders verwachten. Het is geen schim meer van wat het was terwijl de prijs omhoog is gegaan. Een opmerking hierover werd vriendelijk en professioneel ontvangen. Bij een volgend bezoek gevraagd of het broodje nog steeds hetzelfde was. Dat was het geval. Op mijn opmerking hierover werd volstrekt onverschillig gereageerd door overigens een andere serveerster dan de eerste keer. Voor een stijgende prijs kan ik op zich begrip hebben, hoewel ik zelf ook ergens mijn grens zal trekken. Maar voor het tegelijkertijd zo inleveren op hetgeen geboden wordt samen met een volstrekt onverschillige reactie heb ik geen begrip. Ontzettend jammer.

De schnitzel was te droog, zat weinig smaak aan. De frieten waren amper gebakken. Zat geen dressing op de salade. We waren op doorreis en blij dat we nog een tafel kregen, maar zou er niet weer gaan eten.

Deze tent serveert niet als je meer dan 5 bier op hebt, vrij vervelend als je hier meer dan 1,5 uur moet zitten

De menukaart is zeer origineel en wekt de indruk van een modern restaurant. Echter alle gerechten waren onsinziens te vet. Overal zitten sauzen bij of op of is in teveel boter gebakken. De hoeveelheden waren wel royaal.
