Cozy, good food, informal, not too busy but very pleasant. However, the staff were very busy, but that didn't detract much from the atmosphere and service.

Atmospheric and spacious, both outside and inside. Good and friendly service. They have an open kitchen, and what comes out of it is super delicious and beautifully presented. Nice menu that also has a lot to offer. Both lunch and dinner were very good. The prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area, but the quality is really much better.

During our vacation, we dined at De Heren van Dorth. The staff was friendly and helpful. We wanted a different table due to the limited legroom, and this was arranged without any problems. The food was very good. As sparerib lovers, we arrived at exactly the right time, because on Wednesdays and Thursdays you can eat unlimited spareribs here for €25.50. The spareribs were delicious and definitely recommended. Later in the evening, the service unfortunately let us down a bit. We had had the dessert menu for well over half an hour, but our order was not taken. In the end, we therefore just skipped dessert. Apart from this minor flaw, everything was to our liking. We would certainly come back here again, if only for the delicious spareribs. We didn't take any photos... we were simply too hungry! 😉

What a wonderful experience this was. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the beautiful presentation of the dishes. Everything served looked fresh and tasty. We especially enjoyed the burger with the cheerful little flag on it. Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

We were only there for a quick lunch stop. The atmosphere is great, and we briefly wondered if we could afford the food. But after looking at the concise yet varied menu, our worries disappeared. I'd say the prices are typical for the Netherlands. Delicious and lovingly prepared in an open kitchen. The service was also excellent!

We had lunch here. It was fine; the salad was super fresh and very well presented. The portions are quite large. Too much for us, but more than enough for a health-conscious eater. A restaurant for a good meal.

Unfortunately, I was recently at your place with a group of seven people and a two-year-old child. We had to wait over two and a half hours for our main course. The people next to us had already started their dessert. We asked several times where our food was, and the last answer was, "8 more minutes." It took more than 20 minutes. It's very difficult to keep a two-year-old calm at such times. We left in anger after the main course because the mother and child had taken theirs. P.S. The waitress needs a course in customer service!

Yesterday we had a party at the Heeren van Dordt. There was a hot and cold buffet and a dessert buffet. My table companions were very pleased with the quality of the food. There was also more than enough choice and availability. I myself ate gluten-free. It was very well organised. Specially prepared dishes for me. Even gluten-free fries, which gave me the feeling that they really knew what they were doing (which is not the case everywhere). Among other things, we had a steak with a fantastic pepper sauce. That alone would make you come back. If I have to give a point of criticism, it was a lot for 1 person... So not good for the figure....

A beautiful restaurant with a varied menu. The soups are delicious nndt as are the mushrooms in a jacket. The main course is served with fried potatoes and fries, today with a cucumber salad and mango/apple sauce. There was no room left for dessert.

Given the reviews I thought I would find a great place. But that was disappointing. The service was not very courteous. My cutlery came with a crumpled napkin in it. The mustard soup was much too salty. The croquettes were either fried in fat that was much too hot and I think very old fat. I hesitated whether I would eat them and unfortunately I did. But I should have sent them back. The shop itself is very nice in terms of decoration. When clearing the rafel I said that I did not like the croquettes and that they would be passed on. Disappointment: I will not come here again. The quality is simply disappointing.

Veel tafeltjes, grote zaak, maar erg gezellig en knus. Een ruime keuze op het menu en de kwaliteit was meer dan prima. Vriendelijke bediening en wat ons betreft was de verhouding prijs-kwaliteit goed. Een aanrader!

Nice restaurant, although darkly decorated, but it really does feel medieval. They take you into account if you have type 2 diabetes and really ask what you want. So my wife had the pork tenderloin skewer. They came specifically to report that it had been marinated and therefore contained sugar. She made one special with salt and pepper. How boring, but so sweet. Spare ribs for me were great. Wednesday, so I ate 2 racks. My son ate the baguette basket. All very well. Recommended. Only an 8-minute drive from Landal Vlinderhoeve.

Een typisch dorpssfeer restaurant. Het eten was minder, met name vanwege de zwartgebrande ossehaaspuntjes. Ik snap niet dat er nog steeds restaurants zijn die vlees van de grill vooral zwart laten worden als blijk van misplaatste ambachtelijkheid. Het is behoorlijk ongezond en je houdt als klant een stuk minder eetbaar vlees over, als je de zwartgeblakerde buitenkanten er van afgesneden hebt. Het bakje overbekende koolsalade als bijgerecht, zat stevig in de mayonaise. De frites waren slap, smakeloos en overleden. De pepersaus was heerlijk. Daarnaast hadden we flamkuchen. Ze hadden vooraf wel kunnen vertellen dat 'flam' echt inhoudt dat het door de vele pepers een (on)behoorlijk pittig gerecht is. Gelukkig was het schaaltje met lekkere appelmoes daarvoor een welkom blusmiddel voor de mond. De dessertkaart bood volgens ons te weinig keuzemogelijkheden om het etentje toch nog met een plus af te kunnen sluiten. Voor ons komt dit restaurant niet meer op onze eetkaart.

Het eten was erg smakelijk en (meer dan) genoeg. Geen klachten daarover. Echter de prijs van de wijn is te hoog, zowel in verhouding tot andere vergelijkbare restaurants als tot de kwaliteit. De verdejo sauvignon blanc was redelijk, de pinot grigio zeer middelmatig. Hopelijk verandert dit snel, een goede wijn is toch zeker zo belangrijk als een heerlijke maaltijd.

This is a restaurant you would wish for in every village. Not too much fuss, but a good product and large portions. Keeping up with the times with local products, cocktails and original side dishes (included with your main course). Price/quality is also just fine. Furthermore, I will probably slowly forget this restaurant, I am not going to praise it more than what it is, but one day I will probably remember it with nostalgia in another village restaurant.

Delicious food! Friendly service and we didn't have to wait long. We received baguette with 3 spreads in advance. Humor in the menu with special names of dishes. Mustard soup delicious and well filled, “letting off steam” was also very good. Large portions, good to know if you are not a big eater!😉 The main courses also included many different attachments and we regularly checked to see if anything needed to be added. The meat was tasty! We enjoyed it and we will definitely come back again.

Have a drink on the terrace on Friday afternoon and make a reservation on Saturday afternoon. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent. Good price-quality ratio and cozy terrace.

Food was very good, we can especially recommend the spare ribs. The names of the dishes are in the dialect on the menu (description in Dutch). They use a lot of regional products, which certainly improves the taste. We spent about 40 Euro per person with 3 people (main course + dessert + 2 drinks per person). And this was definitely worth it.

Excellent hot and cold buffet. And new drinks every time. Excellent service, very friendly. Beautiful surroundings. And a small playground for the youngest. Enough parking. 2nd assessment: now used the Tasting. Very extensive range. Various starters, two types of soup. Four types of grilled meat and a buffet. Another dessert afterwards. This is allowed all year round instead of just the winter season. 😁

The service was chaotic. Forgot the amuse, a spoon for the soup. The fries served were not nice to look at. The taste was good.
