A gem in Cuijk. Well-maintained, friendly staff, and we found it very accessible. But above all, the food was delicious.

Lovely location and delicious food. We understand there was some panic in the kitchen, which resulted in one dish coming through incorrectly, and the wait between courses was a bit longer. However, this was clearly communicated. We later read that you are unfortunately closing, which is a shame because it's a lovely restaurant with surprising dishes.

We would have found some salad or extra vegetables with the main course, new potatoes instead of fries, even more complete. Meat was very tender! Chocolate with coffee was divine!

Last night four of us went to this restaurant for dinner, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. After ordering a drink it took almost 20 minutes before anyone bothered to take our order. Things went wrong with both the starter and dessert: orders were served incorrectly or even completely forgotten. During the entire evening we had the strong feeling that we were "forgotten", while the staff seemed mainly busy serving a larger group of guests. As paying customers you expect at least some attention and proper service, no matter how many people are inside. All in all it was a bad experience. We will absolutely not return here and unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

Neat restaurant with good and tasty food. Diversity in menu choice and yet a not too extensive menu. Service friendly and caring. The only point of attention is the sound. Depending on where you sit, it can be quite noisy from neighbors at other tables.

The food is amazing and the staff super friendly. The only downside was that it was relatively cold.

The reception was correct and hospitable. We immediately indicated that we had to be at the theater opposite by 8 p.m. at the latest. That was no problem and would be passed on to the kitchen. In the end we only got around to 2 of the 3 courses because there apparently was no (good) communication with the kitchen. This was supposed to be compensated on the receipt, but that didn't really happen. Because we were pressed for time, we didn't pay any attention to it, but afterwards it didn't feel good. The food looked culinary; beautiful photos of the dishes. Unfortunately, 5 out of 6 of our party were not impressed with the taste. It was qualified as: flat. The guinea fowl was on the tough side and actually tasted of nothing. We all thought the restaurant was a bit too cold (literally). Because we were the first guests, we thought this would improve, but that turned out to be only partly the case. Unfortunately, this dampened the atmosphere. All in all, no more Cashier for us in the future.

What a cozy restaurant. Had a delicious meal. Top quality! And wonderfully friendly service. Will definitely come back.

We had a delicious meal and were very satisfied with everything. I read in a review about expensive wine at €8.00 per glass that was gone in three sips, but my white wine was €6.00 ​​and a normal amount. I also thought the free tap water with the wine was very customer-friendly. The staff was also very customer friendly. We would have liked a little more vegetables with our main course, but forgot to ask for extra. If we stay there again, we will definitely come back.

From my side, it was nice and warm, I loved it, I remember when I was a kid, my uncle always told me that, till u do not try, Till then, you cannot know the flavour, SO GO and enjoy. The simpler explanation, I don't care much about the surrounding details, and my advice is don't look around enjoy the day and yourself, be more simple, criticise someone for something, we don'thaveright, moral be if u still find time to do something else in thing u do then u too much of balance your self.

Had a delicious Christmas menu on Christmas Eve 2024. We enjoyed it very much.

The food was very tasty. Special dishes. Very well cared for. In a word, the service is simply top notch. The advice we received was to the point. Unfortunately, I thought the tables were a bit close together. That's understandable given the space. But you are very close to the neighbors.

Delicious dishes with nice matching wines. As far as we are concerned, the only thing that still needs to be worked on is the service. When we just sat down we were a bit forgotten, an aperitif was not offered, we had to ask for the wine list and were then given it without further explanation about the options. We asked ourselves whether a wine arrangement was possible and went for it. The dishes were also put down without further explanation. All this was a shame for the experience you would like to have at a restaurant that wants to radiate a more luxurious feeling, but as far as we are concerned, there is certainly still something to be gained.

Came with a large group (15) and received a great meal and excellent service.

Unfortunately, few vegetables with the food, no side dish to order extra. Furthermore, the food was well prepared and delicious.

Ordered 4-gangsverrassing menu. Tastes of the foods were just normal, not spectacular. The waiters and waitresses were friendly, but the whole service was not good. Between each dish, the waiting time was extremely long. It took nearly 4 hours to get 4 dishes prepared.

Excellent 4-course menu with great matching wines. Also very well served by host and business manager Morrison. Enjoyed a wonderful evening under the authentic French canopies with heater. Until next time!

Excellent surprise menu with good wines on recommendation. All dishes were special in nature and taste. Too bad the fries were served way too late. Management noticed that, but it still took a while.

On the occasion of my birthday, 17 people enjoyed a 3-course surprise menu. The group included people with little experience in culinary delights and seasoned restaurant visitors. How wonderful is it that afterwards everyone is full of praise for the flavors, the layout, the service and the relaxed atmosphere.

What a wonderful meal we had! Enjoyed the four-course surprise menu. And that was it, a culinary surprise. Being in an empty restaurant at 9:30 PM was the only thing that didn't improve the atmosphere, but otherwise it was great!

We recently ate here, our first time. Opted for 'Bites to share' with 2 different bruschettas, the crispy sushi and the fresh spring roll (which was really 'fresh' because cold to our surprise. It took some getting used to, but it was tasty) and they were large pieces, so we opted for the cheese board for dessert. Opted for red wine from the Douro (I had to swallow it when I saw the price difference on the internet and in the restaurant). The restaurant is not very large, but nicely decorated. The exterior with the red caps looks a bit 'outdated'. The only downside was that we had to wait a few times until someone from the service came back to our table, which could have been a bit faster.

Yesterday we had dinner here for my mother's birthday. I don't want to start off too negatively, but because it happened at the beginning of the evening, I'll mention it first. We have been forgotten. By taking the order. Everyone who came after us had already ordered and after an hour had passed, we simply asked if we had been forgotten. The order had now been taken, but we had not yet received the bread on the table. After asking, we did get our appetizer, but the appetizer also arrived at the same time. That was a bit awkward. We started the evening with mild irritation. The staff is very friendly, the food is truly excellent and the ambiance is wonderful. The restaurant exudes luxury and exclusivity. Small and nice. Sometimes you hear about "flavor explosions". You experience that here. The wine was also very tasty. A few weeks ago I ate at a star restaurant and if I had to choose now, I would choose the Cashier. Everything was better here and, in my opinion, star-worthy. Being forgotten doesn't feel good, that's why four stars. Otherwise there would have been at least 5.

It was a new restaurant for me, I didn't know De Kassier yet. But it pleasantly surprised me! Super nice flavors, good presentation, surprising flavor combinations and the wines with accompanying explanation were over the moon! Recommended, I will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Surprisingly fine cuisine in the small town of Cuijk. An excellent menu proposed on an unusual formula of an optional number of courses. Even the cheese was a pleasant surprise, not all jyst Gousa and Edam!

Op een top genieten hier van heerlijk eten, super vriendelijke bediening en goede wijnen.

Heerlijk gegeten in combinatie met bijpassende wijnen. Super service en vriendelijk personeel. Steekt echt boven de andere restaurants in Cuijk uit. Hier eten is een belevenis.

Door de reviews hadden we hoge verwachtingen, maar het viel ons eerlijk gezegd een beetje tegen. Bijna alle gerechten hadden een zure ondertoon. Bij het dessert hoopten we eindelijk op iets zoets.. weer zuur. We bestelden een Riesling, die óók een erg zure ondertoon had. Achteraf hadden we het fijn gevonden als iemand ons daarop had gewezen. De combi maakte de zuurheid alleen maar meer aanwezig. We misten ook een stukje gastvrijheid. We kwamen met een groep van 6 man en komen overduidelijk niet uit de regio, maar niemand kwam een praatje maken. Voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Tafel gereserveerd voor 2, blijkt een hoge tafel met een soort veredelde barkrukken te zijn. En dat voor een 3 gangen diner. We zijn maar weer vertrokken...

Net terug van een heerlijk etentje bij De Kassier met ons mam van 86 jaar. Vriendelijk personeel, de rollator van ons mam werd netjes weg gezet en weer terug aan tafel gebracht toen we gingen, het zijn deze kleine dingen die het doen. Het drie gangen diner is een aanrader met genoeg keuze voor iedereen. Kortom het was onze eerste kennismaking met De Kassier, maar er komt zeker een volgende keer!!

Lekker gegeten en er werd goed een aangepast bord voor ons zoontje gemaakt. Vriendelijk personeel.

Gezellig restaurant met goed eten. Wachttijd tussen de gangen was wel lang

Wij hebben de afgelopen weken 2 keer mogen genieten van een heerlijk 3 gangenmenu. In verband met de lockdown konden we nergens gaan uiteten en was dit een zeer goede oplossing. Alles was netjes verpakt, met een duidelijke handleiding konden we alles thuis opmaken. Dit ging perfect, het eten was heerlijk. Echt een aanrader en wij komen zeker nog een keer terug in het restaurant!

Heel erg lekker gegeten. Zeer positief verrast door de creatieve gerechten. Heerlijke wijn en borden mooi opgemaakt. Leuke en vriendelijke bediening en een fijne sfeer. Zeer zeker aan te raden.

Afgelopen zaterdagavond heerlijk gegeten van het 3 gangen meeneemmenu. Binnenkort willen we graag in jullie restaurant komen eten. Wens jullie nog veel succes toe.

We hebben gisteren een etentje thuis gehad van Restaurant De Kassier. Het was een smaakvol 3-gangen menu met een heerlijke fles rode wijn erbij. Zeker de moeite waard nu de restaurants niet geopend zijn.

Heerlijk asperge menu gegeten met behulp van restaurant de Kassier. Super geregeld, betaalbaar en meer dan voldoende eten, alles voorbereid en een duidelijke beschrijving erbij voor de kleine werkzaamheden die er nog gedaan moeten worden. een erg goed initiatief, we hebben genoten (zelfs onze kleine meid is er dol op)!! Heerlijk thuis/uit gegeten met het asperge menu. Het werd thuisbezorgd en stond na een paar simpele handelingen (keurig omschreven in de bijlage) op tafel. De heerlijke fles bijpassende wijn maakte het helemaal af.

We hadden het 5-gangen-paas-menu besteld van restaurant De Kassier. Het was superlekker, goed verzorgd, ruime porties. Echt super prijs-kwaliteit-verhouding. Als de Corona-maatregelen voorbij zijn gaan we zeker eten bij dit restaurant!
