Very nice place in a safe and quiet area with a church next door, good service and fantastic food!!

Excellent food, reasonable prices, and 100% excellent service. The restaurant is decorated in a unique, nostalgic 1955 atmosphere. Highly recommended for a quick bite to eat when you're out and about. Reservations are recommended for larger groups. Parking is practically in front of the door, and blue parking permits are free for 1.5 hours.

The menu says this is a well-known motorcycle stop. I can see why: good food, friendly service, and a great setting.

The service was very poor. The toast was burnt, the tables were dirty, and the waitress was unfriendly and seemed to have little experience or oversight.

Delicious food (dinner) Absolutely recommended. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back for dinner. 😄

We chose to celebrate our wedding here, and we are very happy with this choice. They thought carefully about what exactly we wanted, and we got a very reasonable offer. During the wedding, not only we but also our guests were pampered. There was more than enough to eat, and the drinks were also well taken care of. I would like to thank you again for this unforgettable day, and super service!

It's hard to say anything about this. When we got there they had just closed or were just closing and their website said open until 10pm. We got there around 8:30pm.

Very cozy (beautiful decoration with old means of transport such as motorcycles and antique kitchen utensils), very good kitchen open to the dining and enjoyment room and always in a good mood, lovely service staff who often help with translating the Dutch menu. Every time we are in Denekamp we “have” to go there! No matter what time of day: the meals and menus are stunning, super fresh and delicious, especially nice when you can eat them outside in great weather and watch the hustle and bustle around the church! Particularly recommended is the "12-Uurtje Mosterd" with a mustard cream soup, omelet on bread and a large filled giant croquette. Or the “Kaffee Verkeerd” ☕️☕️ So: CU - see you next time! Cozy cafe. Tasty food, friendly service. Mustard soup is highly recommended. It is also very nice that you get a decent full cup of boiling water with tea and not 3/4 cup where you only have half a cup after you have hung the tea bag in it.

Had a nice dinner here with friends last Sunday, food top, service top. only it was a bit too cold in the restaurant, especially after half an hour or more this bothers you. so keep an eye out for next time. rest great

Had a great meal at De Zaak yesterday! 'Standard' Twente menu with a twist. Ordered the schnitzel Tinus, which was very good. It's nice that it really is a café, both for diners and just for a drink at the bar.

I just enjoyed a delivered salmon salad from De Zaak. I just texted them below, but I just thought it would be better to share this here, so that it will be useful to many more people. Herewith: Dear Erwin, I'm a non-bread eater, so I'll soon be eating a salad for lunch. So I have devoured quite a few salads in my career!! Usually the main focus is lettuce, lots of lettuce and with a sauce, often capers and then more lettuce. But your salad was really THE BEST I have tasted so far: lots of salmon / delicious cream cheese / delicious coleslaw with apple for sweetness / a pickle for sour / lots of other vegetables and after a bit of searching I also found lettuce. You understand the non-bread eater!! He doesn't want lettuce in his "salad", he wants vegetables and lots of salmon. It was way too much for me (I'm not a big eater now), so I had two meals of this... You will DEFINITELY NOT hear me complaining. I just wanted to give it to you😃. Have a nice weekend. Wendy

Had a delicious lunch at De Zaak. The brie-pesto-chicken-bacon sandwich (perhaps in a different order on the menu) is highly recommended!

Great food and coffee, cold beer. Fantastic staff, very helpful to us Aussie travellers. We were happy to support a locally owned small business.

Very good cuisine, I always enjoy a delicious meal there. Fried nature. I think they are from a steamer, I personally don't like that very much. Only the toilets could do something about it sometimes, they are always very clean.

After a walk with friends, we had coffee and something to eat here. Tasty and we were well served by a friendly employee.

Had a drink on the terrace, so I can't judge the food! Nice atmosphere with cable reels as tables.

Ate delicious Tapas with brother, sister and supporters. No less than 4 courses. And all that for a very reasonable price. The service was extremely friendly. Recommended.

Had a nice meal with the children. Casual atmosphere, nice benches to sit on and we had a wonderful 2 hours of dining with the children (12, 8, 8). Ps take the grand dessert and keep it for yourself ;-). Excellent price / quality ratio.

Had lunch here today. Immediately a warm welcome by a waitress. The coffee and tea came quickly. We both ordered the Club sandwich with smoked salmon and tuna. Presented on a board with salad chips and dip. Already a feast for the eyes. What a delicious meal we had. Good price-quality ratio. Recommend??? Yes definitely do it!

Had Christmas brunch. Assortment was very disappointing. Little choice, late refills, mediocre quality. We certainly expected more for this amount.

Perfecte prijs-kwaliteit. Een weekmenu voor 12,50, waar vind je dat nog? De smaak van het eten was gewoon goed, wat je voor het bedrag mag verwachten. Er was iets mis gegaan met de bestelling, er werd een andere burger geserveerd dan dat er besteld was, maar dit werd prima opgelost door het personeel. Als de bediening net iets vaker was langsgelopen hadden we ook nog een toetje besteld, maar ach, we zaten eigenlijk toch al vol van het voor- en hoofdgerecht. Al met al zijn wij dik tevreden en is het een perfecte plek om gewoon, zonder teveel poespas, een hapje te gaan eten.

Waanzinnig feest gehad! Zowel Erwin als zijn ontzettend vriendelijke en gastvrije personeel hebben mijn feest tot een ware happening gemaakt! Fantastisch eten, meer dan voldoende en voor elk wat wils, voor een leuk feest niet twijfelen maar snel met Erwin gaan organiseren! Iedereen nogmaals ontzettend bedankt! Het was onvergetelijk! Top! Angenehme Atmosphäre. Nette Bedienung und gute Musik.

Een eetcafé die zeker de moeite waard is om te bezoeken en er lekker te eten en drinken. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel en je merkt dat zij echt plezier in het werk hebben. Chapeau. Mooie inrichting uit o.a. de sixties en seventies. Aanrader is hun broodje Twentse kroket. Geen meelderige hap zoals je elders veel ziet/ proeft, maar een lekkere bite met pittige smaak. Prima bereid.

De serveerser stond bij de tafel op de bestelling op te nemen maar beef in gesprek met vertrekkende klanten terwijl wij op aandacht wachten. De koffie is klein de melk bij de koffie was vergeten die moet je zelf halen. Warme chocolade is zoals je hem verwacht. De tosti, er is geen keuze tussen wit of bruin brood je kijgt op een plankje wit met ham en kaas weinig smaak eigenlijk zou je hem thuis gemaakt kunnen hebben maar zelf thuis is hij beter. Geen salade of iets erbij dus vrij droog wel een klein bakje curry. Aardbei gebakje kwam waarschijnlijk uit de vriezer het was nat en smurrie. Ik kom hier niet meer terug.

Heel vriendelijke uitbaatster! Heerlijke koffie en superlekker ijs met veel toppings. Lekkere patat!

Fijn restaurant maar ook gewoon voor een kopje koffie op het grote terras.

Mooie plek om een bakkie koffie en gebak te nuttigen.

Via whatsapp besteld en hier werd erg snel op gereageerd. Snelle bezorging. Het eten zelf smaakte ook nog eens ontzettend goed. Al met al echt top!

Sehr gemütlich und mega lecker Ice Cappuccino

Gezellig en gemoedelijk sfeertje. Aardige gastvrouw. Broodplankje top, malse spareribs, lekkere schnitzel. Op een paar kleine puntjes na was alles super, vandaar 4 sterren en geen 5. Zeg maar 4,3 ster 😁

Zonder na te denken tijdens fietstocht op terras neergeploft voor een lunch. Zat al redelijk vol maar al snel stond er een oprecht vriendelijke en vrolijke dame aan mijn tafeltje om de bestelling op te nemen. En niet erg veel later stond die op tafel. En lekkerrr . Bij het afrekenen ook even binnen gekeken. Hartstikke gezellig en zeker geen 13 in een dozijn inrichting. Stond zelfs een oldtimer Puch brommer te koop. Nooit eerder meegemaakt. Kortom, voor mij niets aan veranderen. Kom er weer terug als ik in de buurt ben.
