We enjoyed a very pleasant, tasty and cozy lunch!

We had a wonderful meal: surprising flavors, beautifully presented, a pleasant atmosphere, and fast service. We also had one 6-course vegan meal; seriously delicious and just as surprising and varied as the meat and fish courses. We opted for the accompanying wine pairing and enjoyed that as well. This was our first time here, and we'll definitely be back.

Today I thoroughly enjoyed the EatSOUS dinner. A 5-course meal to ring in the new year. Delicious dishes with helpful instructions. Absolutely fantastic! A delicious vegetarian option for my wife too.

At El Puente, you'll embark on a world tour of flavors. Highly motivated and qualified staff make all the difference. It was truly a taste experience.

We dined at this restaurant during a weekend in Eindhoven, having chosen it based on the positive reviews on Google. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. The time between courses was a bit too long for our liking. We were seated in the back area, where a group of 12 people were also having a pleasant evening. They were certainly pleased, but it did overwhelm our own dinner somewhat. The restaurant would have been better off keeping the back area exclusively for this group and not occupying any additional tables there. We were offered a limoncello when we mentioned it, but by then we were mainly just looking forward to getting back to our hotel.

I had a wonderful evening at El Puente with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed delicious food and drinks at a charming table with very friendly and enthusiastic service. You might not think so, but we stumbled upon this restaurant through Paaspop. It's been a while since they were last here, but it's been on our wishlist ever since. For my husband's birthday, it seemed like a great idea to try the chef's menu. We enjoyed the surprising dishes paired with lovely, unusual wines. The small adjustments we requested were no problem either. The cheese board is also a real plus and offers non-standard cheeses (the extra charge is very reasonable). If you want to enjoy a leisurely, leisurely dinner, this is a great place with excellent value for money.

Nice experience, super nice staff and delicious food.

The restaurant's name means "bridge," and this is beautifully reflected in the concept: each course takes you on a mini-journey between different countries and flavors. Even the location right next to the bridge fits this theme perfectly. In the cold, wet weather, we sat comfortably indoors, but as soon as the weather improves, we will definitely return to sit outside under cover by the water. It looks beautiful. The staff is fresh, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. The food and wine are served expertly, but without any stiffness. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed. We opted for a three-course menu, but instead of dessert, we requested an appetizer and a main course. No problem at all, and it's great that they're so flexible. All courses were delicious. I had half a glass of Argentinian red wine with the main course, and it was excellent. The two of us spent around €140 in total, including 2.5 glasses of wine, two bottles of sparkling water, the meal, and coffee and tea afterward. In short: a charming restaurant with a well-thought-out concept, friendly staff, and fantastic food. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

Yesterday was our third time at El Puente, and the best yet! We thoroughly enjoyed our four-course dinner with matching wines. The dishes were surprising, well-seasoned, and carefully prepared. The wines were beautifully selected, and Jaimy (according to the receipt) explained them very well. A truly complete experience!

My wife and I dined here, and we had a truly delicious meal. The culinary world tour is highly recommended! The pairing wines were delicious and diverse, as were the dishes. The service and friendliness of the staff were truly superb! They don't force choices on you; they ask what the guest wants and anticipate their needs. Highly recommended. There's also a lovely terrace where you can sit outside, but stay dry. We'll definitely be back!

The food here was incredibly delicious! I've often eaten at slightly more expensive restaurants, and in recent years, I've always been disappointed. What a fantastic atmosphere in Eindhoven. On the Dommel River, warm, serene, and cozy. The food is top-notch with a welcoming atmosphere. Lunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is also highly recommended. The first time there left us wanting more. In plain Dutch: "Top place!"

Op 5 april zijn wij getrouwd en hebben ons in de watten laten leggen door El Puente gedurende onze prachtige dag! Toen mijn vriend mij ten huwelijk vroeg wisten we kort daarna al dat we graag onze bruiloft in samenwerking met El Puente wilden vieren. Na een eerste gesprek met Berry zaten we gauw op 1 lijn en bracht hij onze wensen en verwachtingen goed in kaart. Hierop hebben we kleine aanpassingen gedaan en hebben we ook ja gezegd tegen de samenwerking. We wisten van tevoren al dat het helemaal goed zou gaan komen, want we komen ook graag eten bij El Puente en wilde dit ook graag delen met onze nearest en dearest op onze trouwdag, gewoon lekker 4 gangen met alle service erop en eraan! Onze ceremonie was op een externe (afgelegen) locatie, maar ook daar heeft El Puente een borrel voor ons verzorgd en al onze gasten voorzien van onze bruidstaart. Ze hebben alles wat nodig was meegenomen naar locatie en niemand kwam iets te kort. Berry was er zelf met een collega en samen hebben ze onze gasten (+-70) en ons compleet ontzorgd. Ze namen ook decoratie mee terug naar het restaurant waar onze gasten daarna warm werden ontvangen. Het 4 gangen diner was super en samen met onze ceremoniemeesters waren ook de voorzieningen voor speeches tussendoor geregeld. Het verliep allemaal zoals we hadden kunnen hopen, het weer was super en we zaten met onze 55 gasten buiten en deels binnen achter op het terras. Toen het wat frisser werd werden de gasten voorzien van dekentjes en hebben we het diner fijn afgemaakt. Daarna kwamen er nog een heel aantal gasten voor ons feest wat we ook bij El Puente hebben gevierd. Het personeel heeft het echt fantastisch gedaan en ik kan echt wel zeggen dat het de mooiste dag van mijn leven is geweest die zonder El Puente er niet zo uit had gezien. De verwachtingen die ik van tevoren had zijn allemaal waar geworden en overtroffen, we hebben een fijn feestje gehad, El Puente was fijn in de communicatie en kon aanpassen waar nodig, ze zijn flexibel en denken mee. Het zijn fijne mensen om je bruiloft aan toe te vertrouwen. 10 out of 10!

We got married on April 5 and were pampered by El Puente during our beautiful day! When my boyfriend proposed to me, we knew shortly afterwards that we would like to celebrate our wedding in collaboration with El Puente. After an initial conversation with Berry, we were quickly on the same page and he clearly mapped out our wishes and expectations. We made minor adjustments to this and also said yes to the collaboration. We knew in advance that everything would turn out well, because we also like to eat at El Puente and wanted to share this with our nearest and dearest on our wedding day, just a nice 4 courses with all the service trimmings! Our ceremony was at an external (remote) location, but El Puente also arranged drinks for us there and provided all our guests with our wedding cake. They took everything they needed to the location and no one was left wanting for anything. Berry was there with a colleague and together they completely relieved our guests (+-70) and us. They also took decorations back to the restaurant where our guests were then warmly welcomed. The 4-course dinner was fantastic and together with our masters of ceremonies, the facilities for speeches were also arranged in between. It all went as we could have hoped, the weather was great and we sat with our 55 guests outside and partly inside at the back of the terrace. When it got a bit cooler, the guests were provided with blankets and we finished the dinner nicely. Afterwards, a large number of guests came for our party, which we also celebrated at El Puente. The staff really did a fantastic job and I can truly say that it was the most beautiful day of my life, which would not have been like this without El Puente. The expectations I had in advance were all met and exceeded, we had a great party, El Puente was good at communicating and was able to adjust where necessary, they are flexible and think along. They are wonderful people to entrust your wedding to. 10 out of 10!

Great fine dining. Lovely service. The 4 Stars on atmosphere had nothing tot do with the quality, just the extremely quiet afternoon. All evenings are fully booked though. So, next time I'll be there in the evening. The round the world surprise menu was excellent! I can finally say that I had e dessert with asparagus :)

Delicious 4-course lunch menu with matching wines for €75, no aperitif and coffee on the house, with sufficient attention, good explanation and friendly staff in a place where you don't expect it. Each dish comes from a different country, so the food is very varied. In the summer they have a nice large terrace on the Dommel.

I have been here two times. The food is good, and the place is lovely. Somehow, I felt the staff didn't listen and Yes, I thought it was overpriced and hyped.

Together we enjoyed a fantastic journey through the varied, tasty landscape. Beautiful location and attentive service. A small drawback was encountered in the form of the high tables with stools. Only groups had the luxury of a table and chairs. In the long run it was no longer really comfortable for two people to sit on the high seats. I'm looking forward to the summer. Then we will definitely try the terrace at De Dommel. Skipped the summer, but now, at Christmas, I made up for it. With the above-mentioned experience, we reserved a low seat and let ourselves be transported again across the varied, tasty landscape of England, China, Russia, Turkey and the Netherlands. What a pleasure. Cheers!

6 course dinner. The food was delicious, everything tasted good, but I still missed some consistency in the dishes. Unfortunately, there was not a single course where you actually had to chew your food. Furthermore, the service was just fine. Atmosphere was ok, but quite noisy with 3 large groups placed next to each other. All in all it was a nice evening.

¡Otro gran aniversario pasado en El Puente! Uno de nuestros favoritos - a restaurantes en el corazón de Eindhoven. Nos encanta el ambiente al aire libre sentado en el río Dommel y disfrutar del menú creativo donde todos los sabores son únicos y bien pensados. La selección de vinos se suma a la experiencia. Siempre una sorpresa, y el menú cambia de vez en cuando, lo que lo mantiene interesante y divertido. Nunca he tenido un mal plato aquí, un concepto tan grande! Un gran lugar para una romántica comida de cuatro platos para dos, así como socializar con amigos... .. o cualquier otra ocasión especial.

The food was great, we had the 5 course meal and it was very tasty with lots of different dishes. The staff were very polite, however the biggest problem was the time. It took them about 3 and a half / 4 hours to get all the courses out, often leaving us hungry in between. The portions were small, but that was expected, however the long wait times were simply crazy

The food was delicious, and I enjoyed the sauces that elevates the taste. However, the waiting period for the dishes could be less than 3 and half hours. And, the quantity could be a bit more.

Leuke avond met vrienden gehad. Iets met Duracel, een mid life crisis en uggs, maar verder was het eten en de wijn geweldig! Een culinaire reis door Europa, kandidaat EU landen en een land op oorlogspad. Maar gelukkig allemaal verbonden met een brug.

Highly recommended if you want a more luxurious meal. Especially in the summer along the water!

We had reserved dinner for 2. Service was great and very customer friendly. That made everything so special. But unfortunately the 5 course dinner was very disappointing. The starter dishes were good. But unfortunately too small and not spectacularly head-oriented. And dessert was really bad. Cheese board was okay, but sweet dessert was really not up to standard and was disappointing. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

Wat een heerlijke avond was dit! We zijn er lekker gaan eten op onze eerste vakantiedag en wat een heerlijke wereldreis hebben we gemaakt. Leuke bediening, heerlijk verrassende gerechtjes en top drankjes!

This restaurant has great potential, beautiful location, nice atmosphere and decorated with taste. The plates look great in contrast with the taste and experience of the food. The culinary trip that is suppose to take you around the world is utter nonsense. There is no real build up in the dishes, the flavor's go from one place to another, but not the places you want to go, and you just don't really get the real warm feeling of tasting something really really nice. The staff is friendly, but lacks experience. Our waiter was not bothered by the fact that we were not so keen on some dishes, he shrugged and walked away. There was no real connection and you wonder whether we were there for them to be entertained in suppose the other way around. In short, loved the concept and the potential but would advise the chef to go back to the roots of cooking and make simpler dishes with great taste experience. Build bridges in taste, with staff and guests instead of letting your ambitions getting the best of you.

Top gegeten en gezeten aan het water! Dikke aanrader

Een pareltje op het Stratumseind, mooi restaurant met een prachtig terras aan de achterzijde, direct aan beek De Dommel, met zicht op het Van Abbemuseum. Rustig en toch pal in het uitgaanscentrum. We hebben hier een diner gehad met 4 personen, gekozen voor 5-gangen menu. De amuses èn het diner waren voortreffelijk, vriendelijke bediening, mooie presentatie, kortom een zeer geslaagde avond.

We had dinner as a group of 4 before an evening meeting of our board. Due to traffick jams our schedule was squeezed a bit. However the staff was very helpfull in serving our dinner in a timely manner without ever rushing. Food tasted very well, nice wine and very pleasant surroundings on the terrace close to the Dommel. We will come back.

We waren na een paar jaar weer eens hier. We hadden een 5-gangen diner met een half wijnarrangement en een oestertje vooraf. Kwaliteit was echt goed, verrassende smaakcombinaties, lekker bijpassende wijntjes. Waarom dan een 4/5? De onpersoonlijke bediening. Dat was en kan beter.

Quickly finding a parking spot close to the restaurant can sometimes be disappointed. Enjoyed a 5 course dinner.(up to 7 possible) Service was friendly and had knowledge of the food and te wines served. Nice place to sit but the bar stools for when you are with 2 persons seem less ideal. Upon entering you look directly into the kitchen. No secrets in this restaurant. The suggested wines marched the dishes perfectly.

Voor de 3e (of 4e keer) hier geweest met vrienden Karin en Koos. Heerlijk gegeten. Hele goede service! We laten ons altijd verrassen en nemen dan ook 6 of 7 gangen. Ik kan hier heerlijk glutenvrij eten (wel aangeven natuurlijk!). Ook dit maal 7 gangen gehad en het was weer fantastisch. bijna 6u lang gezeten én getafeld. Dus avondvullend. De wijnen waren heel erg lekker en bijpassend bij de gerechten (zei mijn man,ik drink geen wijn). Een aanrader voor mensen die van lekker lang tafelen houden en niet te bang zijn om eens iets anders te proeven. Heerlijke gerechten met duidelijke uitleg door vriendelijk personeel

Geweldig gegeten! Mooie gerechten met bijpassende wijnen. Dit alles met een persoonlijke touch van de bediening onder leiding van Yvette. Geweldig!

Heerlijk gegeten! Zowel de vegetarische als niet vegetarische gerechten waren allemaal erg smaakvol en verrassend. De bediening was prima. We moesten helaas wel lang wachten op onze gerechten en nog een klein minpuntje was dat er bij de thee geen koekje of iets anders lekkers zat.

Came 5 years ago, and that was my review: "El Puente opened recently and seems to have a great potential. The dishes would be appreciated if more garnished with more accuracy on the service. Excellent idea for the world Kitchen. The staff is nice however they should be more alert on there explanations and what dishes they are serving. The restaurant seems to level at a high Brasserie with out reaching it yet, the plates are researched however you feel the experience is too short with low quantity. Wine suggestion is okay." This is now: None has changed and its over price for the quality and the experience. There is a better place accros the bridge do yourself a favor.

Ik zal er niet omheen draaien. Gewoon ontzettend matige ervaring voor het geld dat je betaalt. Van de 5 gangen waren er 2 wel prima en 2 waren gewoon echt niet goed. Het kaasplankje kan niet veel mis aan gaan, maar was ook niet bijzonder. Twee van de vijf gerechten waren slecht in balans qua smaak en waren daarnaast gewoon niet goed op smaak. Echt matig. We kregen twee amuses, waarvan eentje wel oké was en de ander ronduit smerig. Bloemkool gevuld met hazelnoot, omhuld in chocolade. Niet meer doen aub! We hadden de bijpassende wijnen gepakt en die waren ook absoluut niet bijzonder. Ook werden de wijnen ingeschonken en iedere keer werd expres veel te lang gewacht met het uitserveren van het eten, zodat je óf geen wijn meer hebt als het eten komt, of je bent genoodzaakt nog een extra glas te bestellen. Dat zijn vieze trucjes. Toen ik na afloop in gesprek ging met een van de bedienden en met de chef kreeg ik te horen dat het menu pas sinds woensdag op de kaart stond, dus dat ze nog een beetje in moesten komen. Dat is echt een slecht excuus. Kunnen we dan ook even inkomen als ik ga afrekenen? En heel eerlijk denk ik niet dat het er beter op wordt naarmate ze deze gerechten vaker maken. De combinaties waren niet goed, dus echt top zou het nooit worden. Daarnaast was dit een jubileum-menu met de best beoordeelde gerechten door de jaren heen. Dan mag je toch verwachten dat je iets goeds krijgt en dat ze weten hoe je het op smaak krijgt. Toen ik zei dat de wijnen niet bijzonder waren werd er gezegd dat ik veel beter de cocktails had kunnen pakken. Met andere woorden je weet zelf al dat de wijn niet top is. Hele rare opmerking. Ik ben echt teleurgesteld. Ik hoorde vooraf enkel positieve verhalen, dus ik had er echt zin in. Daarom was de teleurstelling des te groter. Conclusie: Voor het geld dat we betaald hebben (110 euro p.p.) was dit het absoluut niet waard.

Goede service en heerlijk eten!

Heerlijke reis gehad in smaken en beleving van het eten!

Je kan er lekker zitten, zij het wat rumoerig, Binnen althans, het terras oogt uitnodigend. Er zit echter wel een wezenlijk belofte-gat tussen prijs en pretentie. De wijn was ok maar niet goed. Het culinaire verhaal niet sluitend (voor de niet Blof-liefhebber) en niet alles was zelfgemaakt helaas. Ook knarste zand, bij het verder goed smakend peen-igs. Desalniettemin aardige mensen, een prima kwaliteit van gangen maar qua prijs-kwaliteit is het vlees, vega nog vis. Voor iets meer Euri kun je snavelen waar belofte de verwachting wél overtreft (b.v. de sterren in de regio). En voor de helft van de achter te laten duiten kun je kwalitatief evenzo tafelen. Leuk restaurant, zeker voor een provinciestad, vriendelijk personeel met ruimte voor verbetering. Op de kaart of kassa.

Wat een geweldige ervaring om hier te dineren! Avondvullend met fantastische gerechten en zeer deskundig en betrokken personeel. Het concept El Puente is tot in details terug te vinden. Letterlijk een brug tussen smaakculturen. We gingen van Maleisië naar Italië en van het Verenigd koninkrijk naar België. Deze avond was een complete beleving! Een aanrader voor een unieke ervaring! Dank aan de chef-koks en de gastheren en -vrouwen!

Het restaurant was redelijk. Het was wel koud. Het dames toilet leek wel een vrieskist en op de heren toilet stond een klein electrisch kacheltje. Na klagen over koud dames toilet werd het kacheltje verplaatst van de heren toilet naar het dames toilet....het diner was prima. Op een gang na...zuurvlees met veel te dikke droge friet. De bediening was een aanfluiting. Het zal een nieuwe jongen zijn geweest maar het is duidelijk niet zijn ding. Het eten is over het algemeen wel goed te doen....maar erg duur voor wat je krijgt. Heb daarna nog maar een bigmac naar binnen geschoven omdat ik nogsteeds trek had

Het eten was fantastisch op één gerecht na. Het Hollands zuurvlees was te wrang en de patat gort droog, deze stuurde ik terug. In eerste instantie stond ie nog gewoon op de rekening ook. Ik kreeg er sowieso geen reactie op. De rest van het eten is van een hoog kaliber, ik zou zelf wel de sausjes apart serveren. Nu werd een prachtig bereidt stukje vlees verzopen in een overheersende saus, dat mag wat minder. De bediening was ronduit slecht, kan er helaas niets anders van maken. 'Wou je een bite vooraf' begreep ik niet helemaal dus vroeg wat hij op de kaart had, geen kaart en geen uitleg, hij ging verder over het menu en onze kans was daarmee kennelijk verkeken. 7 euro voor riesling witte wijn en dan krijg je de halve hoeveelheid van rode wijn was voor mij ook nieuw, 'gelukkig' kreeg ik geen vraag meer of ik nog iets wou drinken de rest van de avond en kon ik het water van mijn man delen. Weglopen terwijl de gast feedback geeft, aan het einde vragen 'willen jullie nog koffie of thee' en als we dan koffie zeggen meteen gaan maken (Misschien is er maar één soort?) En dan alleen de koffie serveren en vragen 'wou je er ook suiker bij', waarna hij redelijk lang moet zoeken en je een minimaal beetje krijgt. Verder was het gezellig ingericht maar erg koud, besparen nu snap ik, maar geef mensen dan een dekentje of meld bij reserveren dat een trui aangeraden wordt. Zodra je gasten zich gaan warmen aan de kaarsen sla je misschien een beetje door. Het is de kwaliteit van het overige menu dat het nog net een voldoende geeft. Maar ik kom niet terug, 150 euro met twee man en had echt nog trek na afloop. Dit terwijl wij het 6 gangen menu hadden en ik ben geen grote eter.
