Restaurant Grill Factory op Suyt in Wijk 10 Binnenstad

This was our second time eating here. We always made reservations through a social deal. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the courses followed each other at a leisurely pace, without having to wait too long. We arrived 45 minutes earlier than our reservation time, but this wasn't a problem; we were seated right away.

We stayed from Wednesday to Saturday today, so we had a delicious meal at the restaurant the day before yesterday. My friend had a tasty burger, and I had the chicken satay spice, followed by some delicious ice cream. The staff were friendly, but it took a while before we were helped with our food and drinks.

We booked a hotel and also wanted to eat in the restaurant. We made a reservation in advance. The staff didn't want us to drink at the bar because the girl behind the bar was too busy pouring drinks. Then, at the table, we received the wrong order several times, and everything took a very long time. The staff was unfriendly, irritated, and disinterested. One person has to eat gluten-free due to celiac disease. We mentioned this in advance, and that wasn't a problem. She chose a mixed grill. Then, without asking or commenting, she was given unseasoned and unmarinated spare ribs and a steak full of stringy and raw. Just like a rib steak. Normally, they'd just tell you that the spare ribs aren't gluten-free, so you'll get unseasoned meat. Then you can choose something else. After dinner, we ordered an espresso martini. We only got a regular espresso. The staff were irritated again. Then we did get an espresso martini, but it was completely watery and undrinkable. And that for a cocktail of 12.50. Fries were included with one dish, while we had to pay for them separately with the other. We spent almost 900 euros on food and accommodation, only to be treated so well at Duco's. You'll never see us again!

Delicious food, friendly service!

A beautiful location with excellent cuisine. You can dine there in peace and quiet, in a pleasant atmosphere.

After bowling, we were given a table for six. We were given an uncomfortable table against the wall, next to the gym. The satay and hamburger were good. But we also ordered two tuna steaks, which were simply tasteless and disgusting. The chef definitely never tasted the tuna steak himself. The accompanying grilled vegetables were also lukewarm and reheated, and not tasty. The waitress said she would mention this when we paid. We didn't order dessert. And we'll never go back to restaurant bistro Duco Helmond again!

A warm welcome. We had a great meal through a social deal. The menu was excellent. Plates were neatly presented. It was just a shame that the glasses, etc., were being cleared from unused tables, which caused a lot of unrest. It would be better to do this a bit later, when guests are almost gone. It happened as early as 7:00 PM.

The starter was decent. Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for the main course, which was completely different from what was on the menu. We were warned beforehand that the trout was whole. No problem. But the Hasselbach potato was a boiled half potato in its skin. The trout was a tasteless fillet, no herb butter, but a large pool of white sauce. The older waiter who came to clear the table was very unpleasant and didn't do much with the remark. A real shame. It was also unusual that there was a party going on beforehand.

The food was delicious. A small drawback is that they leave unused glasses on the already small table. The young ladies were friendly, but the young man really took the cake. He was very funny with playful remarks that made us laugh. The dinner was definitely worth the money; it was good and delicious. The breakfast was also good; we took our time with it, because €18.50 per person for 2 slices of bread and 2 cups of coffee is a bit much in my opinion. But my husband ate enough to come close to his €18.50. Yes, we really enjoyed it this time. Only the music is terrible.

We've eaten here several times and were satisfied. Today wasn't great. We sat for 2.5 hours. More than an hour between the starter and the main course. Caesar salad was delicious, as was the fish and chips, but the tenderloin with pepper sauce came with a quarter potato and three slices of vegetables. We were now charged €6.50 for the fries (which always came with it)!!! So, we won't be returning. Following our complaint, we were offered dinner. We hesitated at first, but went anyway, were pampered, and had a delicious meal. We left a nice tip for the staff and will definitely be back!!

Eating through Social Deal is always great for a good price.

Duco Helmond is fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone. Excellent value for money.

We had dinner today and chose a game menu for €50 per person. The starter was game pate. The main course was disappointing; it had been in the oven too long. It consisted of half a potato, two mini chicken wings, and what was supposed to be pulled goose, but it was tough and hard, and the portion was very small. We ended up waiting 25 minutes for our dessert. When we asked about it earlier, it took a while longer. We then asked again, and finally got up to leave. It was taking too long, but then our scoop of ice cream arrived. When I pointed out that it was taking a long time, the waitress replied, "Yes, there are other guests." All in all, we sat for over two hours, and went home €120 lighter and dissatisfied. So that was a bit of a disappointment.

We were a group of four adults and two children. The time between courses was too long for the children. Could have been served a bit faster. Otherwise, the food was excellent, and my request for a round table was met. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful meal. Chef's choice. Well, that was truly fantastic. Very tasty and beautifully presented. 3 courses. Best choice. Very friendly service who were also able to advise on wine selection. All stars are well deserved.

Duco Helmond: Beautiful restaurant, but the staff and chef were actually too busy for the number of guests. The staff were motivated and did their best, but despite this, the wait times were quite long. The food was delicious.

Terrible service... long waits before they even come to your table. They just stand there babbling away without paying attention to customers... We'll never be back...

We've eaten at several Fletcher hotels, and the menu is, of course, more or less the same everywhere. In Helmond, however, the food is excellently prepared, and the portions are definitely big enough for us. Hats off to the Helmond chefs.

A cozy restaurant, though fully booked with hotel guests, so we were given a table next to a busy aisle near the check-in desk. Nevertheless, we had a delicious meal with prompt service. Definitely worth a visit!

Great food. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. It's a shame the drinks were taken away during our "call break."

We dined here this week, and what struck me was that the chef, in an open kitchen, hung his tea towel over his shoulder and neck, looking sweaty. However, he used the same towel to wipe the plates and his hands. I find this unhygienic and particularly unsavory. Asparagus was on the menu for the first time this week, but it was so overcooked you could barely taste it. The yolks of the boiled eggs were also completely green from overcooking, which isn't a pretty sight. However, we received friendly service from a couple of young ladies, and that was perfectly fine.

The worst Duco Restaurants from Fletcher's. Food is okay, but waiters and service in general were terrible. Waiting 15 min for someone to give us the menu. The personnel from the restaurant were more interested in socializing between them than answering on clients' needs.

Unlike the Fletcher hotel itself, this is a major disaster. On 15/2 we thought we would enjoy a delicious lunch. We had chosen a table. However, there was so much noise here. It looked like an indoor playground or the canteen of a sports hall. Not the atmosphere you expect. We sat near the bar where it was a little quieter. We saw many people place their orders directly at the bar. After we had made our choice, I tried to place the order at the bar like everyone else. There was now only 1 lady in the queue for her order. She ordered 2 coffees with a certain liqueur. Entering the order and paying took 10 minutes for the waiting lady. Sometimes the bill was wrong, then people did not understand what she meant even though she spoke fluent Dutch. In the meantime, 3 more employees passed by who seemed to be wandering around. I was still ignored. But well, they still had to start with the coffees. In the meantime, however, more people had arrived. Finally someone came to take orders. The waiter asked the people standing to our left what they should have. They indicated that I was for them. Yet the waiter ignored this. Had I become invisible? That would be great! Then I could have entered my order myself and everything would have gone a little more smoothly. After this debacle we set course for Helmond center where they happily served us a delicious lunch. Hopefully the waiting lady still received her coffees and they still tasted excellent 😉

De keuze was een Chef's Choice (medium rare) en een Fish ande Chips. Beiden zeer smaakvol en goed bereid. De begeleidende frites zeer goed gebakken en de groente mag wat ruimer. De mogelijkheid van kraanwater i.p.v. Fletcher water werd op aanvraag gehonoreerd bij de bestelde fles Fletcher Sauvignon Blanc, die ook van goede kwaliteit was. De bediening was prettig en correct. Ook de twee Dame Blanches waren prima, maar mogen wat mij betreft wel groter.

I had a delicious meal here through a Social Deal. From the set menu, I chose lentil soup, BBQ chicken, and the chef's dessert (a combination of chocolate and raspberry tart, with a mini mango smoothie). Everything was equally delicious. The service was professional and friendly.

Few bells and whistles. Very tasty. Just eat for a higher amount. One course, two drinks, 30-35 per man

Had a fantastic staff outing! Last night we had a staff outing here with 35 people. We sat in a nice separate room and started with a buffet. Nothing but praise for the chef, it was all delicious, the salads, the meat was super tender and the fries were delicious! Then we went bowling for another 2 hours. We had to buy drinks, but it wasn't noticeable. They were constantly asking for drinks and the staff was very pleasant and sweet. Nothing was too much. We also got some tasty appetizers. All in all we had a fantastic evening and we will definitely be back. Thanks to manager Roland and his staff who still understand how things should be in the catering industry. CHAPEAU and keep it up!

Excellent food and very pleasant staff. We dinned with our two kids and they were entertained by the staff and got colourbook to spend their time waiting for the food. Kids menu is 10,50 (desert and toy included) which was very good price! Isa K. was very nice nad pleasant waiter!

We had the lunch here and is a good place for lunch Good options like burger or sandwiches or stakes. But the we should wait so much time ... I think is not a problem only for this restaurant is just a problem on all Holland ... but anyway we just wait too much .. Beside that food is good .

I received a main course as part of a hotel package. Now I understand why they almost give them away. The piece of tenderloin was still very cold inside and the other piece of beef was very tough. I'll just order home delivery next time.

I wasn't very impressed with this restaurant. The food was a bit boring with a sorbet where the fruits, probably from a can, looked a bit old. To make matters worse, the staff started cleaning up early, including vacuuming, while guests were still eating. There's a first time for everything.

Went here for dinner last weekend. A 3-course menu via social deal. Just before we went I looked at the reviews. This shocked me and I actually regretted that we had made a reservation. So I didn't have too high expectations. But to my delight, the fat was fine! We were received very nicely and the staff was all very friendly and cheerful. We sat outside, which is really atmospheric and fun. Everything inside is also beautiful and modern with a beautiful open kitchen. People regularly asked if everything was okay and the little one received a present. The food was tasty and the portions good. Of course not a culinary tour de force, but you don't expect that if you book via social deal. And that is not necessary. So it's all right!

Homemade watermelon soda drank… that means ice, water and cheap juice for tea, one of those made for kids with a taste of I do not know what but not watermelon for sure, delivered to my table by nicely looking waiter speaking to me like to a colleague from work lol. Apparently he is more important than clients. None from two waiters were able to recommend me anything to drink, it was interesting they achieved to somehow deliver the menu to my table. The water with cheap juice for 4.50 euro.

3 course menu of choice and everything was tasty, fish & chips, crème brulée, steak all excellent.

We ate here last week. The food itself was fine. Fries a bit dry. The staff could be a little friendlier/enthusiastic. But what really shocked us were the prices of the drinks: €7.75 for a weihenstephaner beer and €4.75 for a little water. Then you have a nice offer via social deal, but they earn this back double through the drinks. It doesn't feel entirely fair, so we won't be back.

Soup was way too salty, to a point where it was unedible. Salad was okay but with too much dressing. And the tuna burger was a piece of tuna on a white bun with mayonnaise. Even the fries were dry. Not recommended, especially not for the high prices

Gekozen voor de keuze van de chef. Black Angus steak. Bereiding medium rare. Was een grote homp vlees die moeilijk te eten was. Erg taai. Geen verse jus de oranje verkrijgbaar. Bij bestellen van een tonic geen glas. Moest het wijnglas gebruiken. Bediening erg jong zonder veel kennis van zaken. Mogelijk scholieren?

Rude staff who cannot speak in two words. I am not a peer on the street, but a paying guest, please note. Food was terrible, I can also heat up semi-finished products myself... burger for 20 euros made me want to vomit. Furthermore, frozen from the chip shop is what you get. Definitely not worth the money.

1 keer en nooit meer! Meer als een uur op ons eten moeten wachten wat ook nog eens zwaar tegenviel. Kleine porties en de gegrilde groenten smaakte naar diepvries groenten van de Lidl. Toen er na het eten na 20 minuten nog niemand kwam vragen welk dessert we wilde zelf maar naar de keuken gelopen om te bestellen. Toen we na bijna een half uur nog steeds geen dessert hadden waren we er klaar mee en zijn we opgestaan en gegaan.

In this modern Fletcher Hotel Restaurant you can dine in a very casual and cozy atmosphere. You can look straight into the open kitchen and the staff is very friendly and helpful when it comes to allergens, for example. In my case, the dishes were adjusted without any problems so that I could enjoy a very tasty dinner gluten-free. Definitely recommended and we will definitely return here.

Salt was okay, but the burger is not good (cheese from the tube 🤮).

De plek zag er prima uit, de bediening was goed, maar het eten was ronduit vies. Wij zijn echt niet kieskeurig maar van het 3 gangen menu dat wij hebben gegeten was echt niets lekker. De courgette soep was niet te eten, zó zout dat ik het heb moeten laten staan. Het smaakte totaal niet naar courgette, meer naar een kom pure, warme Maggie. De schnitzel was ook echt onsmakelijk, de champignonsaus idem dito. De tonijn burger was ook te zout, veel te taai en slecht van smaak. De frites waren wel oké. Omdat de bediening er ook niks aan kan doen en omdat we niet onaardig wilden zijn hebben wij niets gezegd. We vinden dat we het toch moeten melden. Het ontbijtbuffet in hetzelfde restaurant was overigens wel oké.

Gewoon een slechte ervaring. Eten koud en redelijk smaakloos. Hele kleine porties. Meteen gemeld, maar met de klacht werd niets gedaan. Het lijkt erop dat het restaurant gerund wordt door studenten van de ertegenover gelegen school.

Today we ate at Grill factors on Suyt. Because it is part of the Fletcher Hotel, expected much more. It seemed as if the entire restaurant was run by students from the vocational school opposite. Food quality poor and cold. "Luckily" you only get a very small portion. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also lacking. We only had the main course and were outside again within half an hour. Nothing was done with the complaint! Table behind us was also unhappy.

We thought we would enjoy a nice high tea at Fletcher Suytkade. Make a reservation of course. In an almost empty room, after the tea that was immediately brought, we had to wait half an hour for a cup of soup from a package with two large slices of bread and a sausage roll. Unfortunately. The pathetic sausage roll (lidl?) had been warmed in the microwave, then in the oven for a minute to give a hint of freshness, and the sausage was barely there. We skipped the kindly offered second sausage roll as a replacement because we didn't have the whole afternoon. Then a platter with two thinly filled salmon sandwiches, two wraps with carpaccio (a shame about the carpaccio), and a number of sweets straight from the freezer. The banana puff was still a bit frozen even. The dry scones didn't make things any better. No cream of jam, too bad. And a lot of chocolate fillings. Unfortunately, no high tea as high tea is meant to be.

Excellent lunch and very friendly staff

Het personeel is weinig vriendelijk en hartelijk. Het eten is matig. Zelfs mijn 9-jarige dochter noemde het karig :) Je hoort het constante gebonk van de bowlingbaan boven iedere conversatie uit. De service was wel vlot en het was niet druk. De prijzen zijn oké

Op zaterdag 11 maart met twee personen hier gedineerd. Voorgerecht: tomatensoep& broccolisoep, beide wel ok. Begeleidend brood was wel erg goed. Hoofdgerecht: Lekkerbek, helaas wel erg vet en kwaliteit vis ondermaats. Saté was droog, friet portie riant. Nagerecht: Prima, dame blanche en assortiment van mini's. Wat opviel was weinig aandacht van bediening, extreem lange wachttijden terwijl het niet druk was. Geen ontvangst aan de tafel (dmv kaart/ of we iets willen drinken b.v.) Verder viel zeer negatief op dat de staat van het bankje heel slecht was: totaal doorgezakt enerzijds en intensief vies (vol met ondefinieerbare vlekken) anderzijds.

De high tea viel tegen. Ik had er meer van verwacht. Ook hier duidelijk personeel tekort tijdens ons verblijf werd de "eetzaal" nog gezogen. Niet erg gastvrij.

A menu where you have to know what to order. After having had 5 dinners at this hotel, I can say you can be pleasantly amazed or disappointed in regards to both the quality and the quantity of the food. Their starters are on the better side with slightly inspired taste combinations. The main courses have been mostly less interesting. Their seasonal dish of smoked black agnus has, however, single handedly made me write this review as it was such a great showmanship of what their chef has to offer skill wise. Containing all your regular ingredients, yet through craftsmanship infusing it with the best tastes they have to offer. It truly goes to show that this chef has to deal with both average quality ingredients for most of the main dishes, yet when given the opportunity to showcase his craft, he gives you a dining experience worthy of stellar recommendation.

Wilden eens kennismaken met dit restaurant dus kozen we voor een social deal. Bediening was slecht, eten matig. Grill restaurant met verschillende green eggs die er alleen voor de show staan. Er wordt niets gegrild. Voor ons eerste en laatste keer.

Viel tegen. Via social deal, we moesten nog 10 euro bijbetalen omdat het een 4gangenrestaurant is en toch kregen we maar een beperkt keuzemenu, dus 22 50 pp excl drank. Zalm papillotte viel tegen, (gegaard met soepgroenten van de supermarkt, echt niet lekker en het staat regulier voor 22 euro op de kaart, zo zonde van de zalm ook) Kalfsucade redelijk maar ook niet bijzonder en de prijs waard. Toetje met te droge brownie viel ook tegen, helaas. Beter een ander restaurant kiezen.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, maar weinig keuze in het 4-gangen menu. Fletcher in Deurne is toch gezelliger en meer keuze.

Vriendelijk personeel. Vlotte bediening. Open keuken , erg schoon.Hadden 2 dagen arr.met 4 gangen diner..moet zeggen dat dit diner erg netjes en zeer smakelijk was, mooie kleuren .. En zeker voldoende. Hebben net gegeten er kan niets meer bij. Met speciale wensen word ook rekening gehouden. Onze ervaring is dat menig fletcher restaurant hier van kan leren,wij waren echt verbaasd van de goede smaak.. Wij komen hier zeker terug. Daarom 5*****

Heerlijk High Tea gehad prima verzorgt

Good gin tonic ! Service was fine but questioning the freshness and quality of the food "prepared" (canned soup ? Etc.)

Fijn gegeten. Drie gangen menu via socialdeals. Aanrader. Helaas klopte de rekening niet, maar dat was binnen een seconde opgelost.

Rare rode flitsen op t scherm, verder hele uitmuntende plek

Eten is goed. Beetje mogelijk toegankelijk naar de tafeltjes met de rolstoel.

Het eten is matig, 4 sterren zeker niet waard. Bediening mag wat vriendelijker zijn en wellicht professioneler om op 4* niveau te komen. Maar goed, we waren daar met Social deal, dus het heeft gelukkig niet veel gekost.

Lekker eten, build your own hamburger is een mooi concept waardoor ieder hun eigen smaak mag toepassen om een lekkere maaltijd te creëren. Snel klaar en lekker sappige burger.

Heel gezellig en warm restaurant met bar, bowling baan is ook heel modern, vrij nieuw pand. Het eten was heel netjes en lekker, maar te weinig bediening voor onze groep van 40/50 man bedrijfs personeels uitje helaas.

Lekker gegeten, erg enthousiaste en vriendelijke bediening. Ze hebben hun best gedaan om de ruimte erg gezellig te maken, maar door het hoge plafond van de sportzaal ernaast, krijg je toch een minder "cosy" gevoel. Al bij al hebben we voor een "restaurant aan een hotel" een erg fijne en smaakvolle avond gehad van aperitief tot en met dessert aan een schappelijke prijs.

Een luxe zaal waar je zeer goed kunt eten met goede kwaliteit eten vandaar de 5 sterren

Al met al nooit meer, leuk terras bij Op Suyt, maar na een uur gewacht te hebben op ons hoofdgerecht (alleen brood vooraf) kregen we ons eten. Twee gerechten waren prima, carpaccio en ossenhaas salade, maar de kipsate was niet warm en de bijgerechten ook niet. Na de kip terug te hebben gestuurd, kwamen ze ook nog even melden dat de kip wel gaar was.. Nou zeker niet. En dit wilde ik mijn zoon van anderhalf te eten geven. Wat een ellende. Succes als je hier gaat eten...

Eten was goed. Lekkere frietjes. Niet duur. Wel vreemd dat je bij het bestek geen servetjes krijgt.

Vandaag onze vakantie afgesloten met een avondje uit in restaurant Op Suyt.....nieuwe concept..family sunday ...helemaal ons ding ..shared platter voor ieder wat wils en nog herhaald ook ..heeerlijk geëten met vrienden..een aanrader ..helemaal iets nieuws voor Helmond ...we komen zekers terug ..

Update!! Ik was al een tijd hier niet meer geweest. Nu geweest voor een paas buffet. De sfeer is stukken verbeterd. Het eten was van uitmuntende kwaliteit. Erg goed gegeten en zelfs weer eens sinds lange tijd te veel gegeten. De gerechten van de Big Green Eggs waren zalig. De overige bijgerechten waren van hoge kwaliteit. Het dessert buffet was heerlijk. Het parkeren was gratis, ook al moet je bij het inrijden wel een kaartje nemen. Een klein minpuntje was dat de bediening wat langzaam was. De bordjes werden netjes opgeruimd, maar de lege glazen werden niet opgemerkt. Verder was de bediening erg vriendelijk en als je wat drinken besteld had, werd het ook direct gebracht. HET EERSTE BEZOEK; (3 sterren) Het eten was lekker. Het dessert zag er op de foto indrukwekkend uit, maar was gewoon een simpel schaaltje uit de vriezer. De setting is een restaurant in een hotel met daaraan een sportbar. Een echt uit eten sfeertje hangt er niet. Meer snel je eten naar binnen en weer weg.
