Beautiful surroundings with walking route

Not at all hospitable, terrible! On Boxing Day, around 1 p.m., after a long walk in the woods, we wanted to warm up with a cup of coffee. Upon entering, the place was practically empty, and there were no "reserved" signs on the tables. So we asked a young woman if we could sit down. Meanwhile, three other couples had come in and were waiting behind us. She asked a colleague, an unfriendly-looking, thin figure with round glasses. The first thing he said, or rather, snapped at her, was "Who?" Uh... does that matter, who? I immediately had a bad feeling. But there was no room because the reservations were about to come in. We had to sit outside. But of course, with 10 degrees below zero, it feels like we're going to sit outside. The couples behind us looked surprised too. It seems strange to me that the place would suddenly fill up completely, because again... there was hardly anyone there yet! When the people at the table closest to us also immediately mentioned that they'd been ignored for a while, each still holding a drink and/or a piece of cake, I knew it was time to leave and never return, a rude, grumpy employee, truly unheard of... With a truly warm Christmas feeling, I headed home.

Wow! Honestly, what a fantastic place! The midday snack wasn't quite to my liking due to my allergies, but when I asked if something could be adjusted, it was so kindly accommodated. The waitress was incredibly attentive. The veggie croquette was so good that I briefly doubted whether it was actually vegetarian 😄 We'll definitely be back!

I had my baby shower last Sunday and everything was perfectly organized. Everything tasted delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff was also very friendly.

A beautiful location, well maintained, friendly staff, everything went perfectly. The only caveat is that there is no air conditioning at your location. With such an incredibly hot day as Wednesday 2 July 2025 (35 degrees) it would have been nice if there had been a number of mobile fans. Perhaps a tip/recommendation for the upcoming warm period. Furthermore very, very satisfied with your accommodation!!!

M Ondanks het grote aantal tafels binnen en buiten, straalt dit restaurant, in een mooie, landelijke omgeving gelegen, rust uit. Privacy gewaarborgd. Bediening vriendelijk, de kaart gevarieerd. Kwaliteit prima.

Het was allemaal prima , je werd vlot geholpen, het zag er allemaal prima uit en smaakte goed . Prima locatie ook Enige wat we hadden is dat we in het verleden wel eens een salade bij jullie hadden gegeten, deze waren nu wat kariger. Verder super

Really lovely little spot. It's cosy and comfy and the food is heartwarming. We come here often for a lunch over the weekends and are never disappointed. Their soups are great and so is the rest of the menu.

Had a delicious high tea yesterday with our family, 13 people. at a very nicely laid table. Well cared for with plenty of savory and sweet treats. Very friendly staff. Worth repeating and definitely recommended. This is a frequently visited location for us. In a wooded area with beautiful walking routes. Toppie.!!

Compliments for the efforts and the freshening up, but at the same time it has lost its charm. What was known as a relaxing spot has turned into a restaurant with children's play equipment that does not contribute to what makes the location so special and that you do pay for. In my opinion, tacky dating and other events are also inappropriate for overpriced catering establishments.

For us the place to eat when we are at De Biezen campsite: delicious food, good wine and a cozy place to meet up with friends from the region. Whether you eat inside or on the terrace, the service is always quick and very friendly (even if you sit a little too long...). We will definitely come back again!

Ate there on Valentine's Day. Good reception. As far as the interior is concerned, the restaurant can be made a bit more cozy by the presence of the fireplace, which should certainly work. The food is very good, we took the fish menu for my wife and meat for me, everything well prepared and beautifully served. The crème brûlée for dessert still had a nice fire. As a big group we sit in the big room. 3 courses dinner with enough choices of starter , main dish and dessert. The food was delicious and well decorated but it took much longer time than anticipated. The outdoor was big. Would love to come back again in summer.

Case had a nice upgrade a few years ago! Nice place for lunch, especially the meal salads are richly filled and full of flavor. Beautiful beers on the menu and a very quiet place to be. Service is sometimes a bit clumsy but very friendly.

Had lunch with you for the second time this afternoon. Have been sitting inside. In the beginning, good and friendly help from a lady. From the moment our food was served, the lady in question came to ask if everything was to our liking. From that moment on I didn't actually see the service again. I think they were outside more. Staff could not be seen. Finally we walked to the bar to order a drink. After that there was no service again. We were inside for almost 3 hours. If you come and look more often or walk by, we might have ordered more. Too bad because the food was great
