Restaurant Heeren van Beijerland in Oud-Beijerland

We were here last week via Social Deal. The food was delicious, and the Pornstar Martini mocktail was too. My husband really liked the crème brûlée. The staff was friendly. What we found to be a downside was that literally everything was open, causing a lot of drafts (I got sick the next day, which I was afraid of. We mentioned that I couldn't handle it well), the fries were very thin and small, and where we were sitting, we saw dead little bugs hanging on the wall. That wasn't very pleasant. We mentioned this as well.

We wanted to have lunch, had already been sitting for 10 minutes, and people came up behind us who were being served by the wait staff and said something about it, but absolutely no reaction, so we are never going here again.

Just grabbing a bite at De Heeren. Forget about it these days. We sat waiting an hour for the onboard poop and 2 chicken satays, and then just paid for the beer and water because waiting any longer while the tables around us were getting food....... It's a shame Jan isn't with us anymore.......

We come regularly during the summer months to eat a delicious meatball sandwich or carpaccio; what a disappointment now, the restaurant has been taken over, and the lunch menu is very limited, too bad. We finished our drinks and left; I can eat a croquette sandwich anywhere.

Forgetful waiter, just left after 45 minutes without the ordered dessert.

The food tastes fine, the beer is delicious, and the view is beautiful. But if you present the "Korean Waffle" with cucumber and spring onion and sell it like that, it is a shame that the chicken lies on a romaine lettuce leaf with a garnish of a green sprig. Yes, it was tasty, but not what is described on the menu.

Really beautiful restaurant and fantastic food. Good, efficient service. Top notch.

Tonight we went out for dinner at what we know as a good restaurant. We have been here several times before and have enjoyed it so far, but tonight was disastrous. We arrived at 6:30 PM, a little early, but were able to sit down right away. Our drinks order was taken quickly, and then the starter was served immediately: carpaccio and a bread basket with herb butter. After that, the waiting began. For both drinks and the starter. People around us were served faster than we were. Then suddenly the carpaccio did appear on the table, but without the aforementioned bread basket. We pointed this out to the terrace staff, who said they would inquire about it. After this had happened a few times, it was already about 7:30 PM, and we still hadn't received our main course. After waiting for a long time again, we finally got our food, but it was still well below par. A waste of our money. There really are better restaurants out there where you can eat well and get served quickly and efficiently, so definitely go there!

Today 9-5. Went to sit in the conservatory at 1:30. The terrace was full. After 15 minutes, we asked if we could order. Placed our order. After another 15 minutes, the waitress came back to say that there was no iced coffee. Another 15 minutes later, we passed on to someone else what we wanted to drink instead. After 50 minutes, we finally had our pancake. Swapped cutlery because I had a dirty fork. We'll just skip De Heeren from now on.

Ate here again after a very long time. Despite the extremely long wait, we had a pleasant evening with my parents and little brother.

Mixed experiences. Been a few times for coffee and fried eggs. Uitsmijter de Heeren (if I'm not mistaken, it contains some bell pepper and mushrooms) is our go-to fried egg. The food is inconsistent, sometimes good, and the service is sometimes great, and sometimes disappointing.

Just ate a satay with fries, very poor quality, chicken tasteless. Satay sauce tasteless and soggy fries.

They came every 5 minutes to ask if you wanted another drink.....

What a shitty place... reserved brunch for 15 people on Tuesday, received confirmation.... arrive, they knew nothing about it, there was no staff, and the kitchen wouldn't open for another hour and a half... no apology, no willingness to help, no organizing anything... if this is the tone of the new owners, I fear the worst... at Jaap & Ellen we were actually welcomed and had a delicious meal there.

We were here for the first time, and it's a nice place for lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly, and the menu is diverse. The atmosphere is homey, making you feel welcome. The price-quality ratio is good.

Good food, excellent service. One minor point: the hallway in front of the restroom entrance is very dirty, and the restrooms are filthy too. They really need a makeover!

We had a great meal. We'll definitely be back. Lunch today. Saturday, beautiful weather: busy even on the outdoor terrace. Perhaps because of that, it was a bit understaffed, but it was still a bit messy: other guests had taken our reserved table, so we had to improvise. We waited about an hour for our food, luckily I didn't have other commitments. The food (schnitzel, hamburger) was otherwise excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I assume the messiness isn't typical.

Had a delicious pineapple toastie with cappuccino. Nice little place by the harbor. Excellent service.

The bread platter was fantastic with truly delicious bread. The small carpaccio was delicious. The schnitzel and meat combination was delicious, and the dame blanche topped it all off. A lovely spot by the window. Cozy and atmospheric.

At De Heeren van Beijerland, you feel welcome immediately. The service is friendly and sincere, the decor warm and homey, and the atmosphere just right. The coffee is truly excellent: full of flavor and at the perfect temperature. A place you will happily return to!

Cafe. Nothing special, but not bad. The dressed hamburger was good.

We have lunch here very regularly; the food and service are fantastic. This time we reserved dinner, which was extremely mediocre to very bad. The cook in the kitchen has absolutely no feel for his work. Many items were out of stock to order; the sea salt butter was made from butter with table salt and was inedible. The tapenade came from a jar and the aioli from a bottle. Nothing was fresh. The bread roll, however, was delicious. Sent it back and provided feedback. After that, fries with satay. The fries were overcooked and dark brown, and once again, as salty as a brain from the table salt. The satay was undercooked and served lukewarm. Probably because we complained about the starter. The waiter and waitress were extremely friendly and understood the whole situation; they tasted it too. Naturally, they didn't want to say anything out of the restaurant's politeness, but their looks were telling. But the head chef didn't say a word or show himself. In short, dinner is definitely not worth repeating.

Super nice place and incredibly delicious food!! We were here on a stopover on our way to Tiengemeten. Definitely recommended!

Delicious food in the central location of O.B.

After having stayed at a campsite in Numansdorp for years, I now stayed at another one, but I spontaneously drove past and stopped here for lunch and shopping.

The photo could have been better, but we had a delicious lunch. We chose the Beijerlander and artisanal croquettes on bread. Everything was very fresh and perfectly prepared. We'll definitely be back.

The food was okay, nothing more than that. Small mussels, prawns with intestines... I asked the staff, and they said it wouldn't be a problem; it's true, it just affects the taste... The fries were tasty. But you can also get them at Gebo...

Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere outside on the terrace

I've been coming here for years for lunch, dinner, or just drinks. I always find the food delicious, and the service is fast and friendly. My son loves the pancakes and toasted sandwiches. Some people find the interior a bit dated, but I find it beautiful and classic. It always looks fresh and clean, even the menus are regularly updated. Other restaurants could learn a thing or two from that.

Wij hadden gereserveerd maar bij aankomst werden wij zonder naam zo naar het terras verwezen. Wij bestelden als eerste wat te drinken en dit kwam aan en werd zo voor ons neergezet zonder ijs en zonder het glas deels te vullen. Communicatie was er nauwelijks. Toen wij onze bestellingen hadden gedaan en het voorgerecht kregen waren wij best tevreden want het was vers en lekker. Tot het hoofdgerecht werd opgediend. Toen wij zagen wat er op de borden lag Was dit een hele grote teleurstelling wat betreft de grote van de porties. Zelfs een kind van 4 a 5 jaar zou deze borden gewoon met gemak leeg eten. De saté schotel was meer bord dan er werkelijk op lag. Er lag welgeteld een stokje saté op met een beetje saté saus. De garnering laten we dat wegzetten als een een haps dingetje. Toen we het nagerecht kregen een dame blanche eerst geserveerd met ten eerste veel te dunne chocolade saus en er zaten aardbeien en blauwe bessen doorheen. Dit hoort niet bij een dame blanche. Een oma’s oud recept appeltaartje was werkelijk triest een heel dun koekje met een paar mega dunne plakjes appel erop met een bolletje vanille ijs (ipv kaneel ijs zoals op de menukaart staat) Toen we eenmaal de eindrekening kregen waren we erg geschokt van de prijs. Voor het wat we gekregen hebben en moesten betalen was dit absoluut een grote domper.

Just sat on the terrace. Ordered 4 beers weizner 50 cl. Turned out they cost €30. I won't sit here again. For this money you get 3 crates of beer on offer.

No waiter came to the table. After a few minutes we walked to the waiter ourselves and gave our order. While we were waiting for our order, another waiter came to us and asked if we wanted something to drink. We said that we had already placed the order, after which he asked if we could pay. I was surprised that I had to pay for something that I had not received yet. Later a waiter came with our ordered beer, Desperados beer in a plastic cup... and what was even worse, he was holding half a slice of lemon in his fingers 🤯 (completely unhygienic for me) I will never come back here again

Had lunch for two on April 18! A small pan of mushroom soup, one sandwich with tuna salad, one sandwich with delicious smoked salmon and one sandwich with egg! Was nicely served by a very nice waitress! The quality of the mushroom soup was great; I have never eaten such delicious soup before! The toppings on the three sandwiches were also great! Highly recommended for €14.75! We would love to come back here again!

Lunch bijna net zo duur als een goedkoop diner. We hadden 2 ballen gehakt met een beetje patat, 2 biertjes en 2 cola 39,95 euro!!! Corona tijden zijn met zulke bedragen allang ingelopen. Ze zitten op een heerlijke plek, maar voortaan lopen wij een stukje verder…

Nice restaurant/bar. We were there on Valentine's Day, I had the Valentine's menu with someone else and the rest at our table had a la carte. Apparently things were not completely synchronized in the kitchen and our Valentine's menu was unfortunately served lukewarm/cold and the rest of the table was nicely warm. We did get a free drink, because it all took a little longer, which is nice! The menu is not very special, actually a bit very standard, I would advise adding your own specialty, then you will probably have gold in your hands. The location is certainly world-class!

Shasimi for 15,- a few small pieces of poor quality, especially the tuna, spare ribs not edible! Last time here By the way, we also waited 1.5 hours for simple ribs. Brought ribs for the dog!

We both had a pancake (with apple and bacon). Both were a neat dishcloth, cowardly and you could look for the apple and not find much. The bacon was, just like the pancake, bland. When we complained about this, there was no response. If we paid (without tip) the gentleman could speak: thank you for the tip, my answer: thank you for the good quality.

Een woord waardeloos saté was verbrand en niet een klein beetje maar ongeveer de helft de ander had een schnitzel zo flauw als wat en de paneermeel lag los om het vleesdus niet goed gebakken een handje koude patat en een bakje groenvoer jammer een gemiste kans wat wel goed was was het drinken . Ook een klacht bij bediening loste niets op oftewel standaard ik zal het melden maar geen enkele oplossing . Ook mensen aan de andere kant van het pad waren zeer ontevreden Advies ga niet , een en al teleurstelling

I was not welcome here at the time of the corona access pass measures... it made me angry, sad and it feels like betrayal.

Ik was hier niet welkom ten tijde van de corona toegangspas maatregelen.. het heeft me boosgemaakt, verdrietig en het voelt als verraad. Hoe lang laten we ons nog verdelen.. met alle vernietiging en separatie als gevolg.

Last time I've visited the Heeren, they annoyed me by selling nacho chips with Cheese sauce which had literally 6 drops of cheese sauce on it. While this was not so tastefull and salty they finished the experience but keep asking if I needed another drink. So I decide to boycot it for a couple of years. So this weekend i've tried once again/gave them a change. So I've ordered a tosti, and surprise... this tosti was maded with cheap dry Lidl bread, while other lunchrooms (Jaap en Ellen, Cozi Corner) serve it with way better luxerious bread. I pay more, but that doesn't matter. If I want to eat it like this, i would made it my self. Despite the friendly personel this time. They couldn't help this.

Had lunch here; was very disappointing. Snack bar quality (and sometimes they do it better). Brie sandwich with walnut, stuck to something sweet that most likely came straight from a bottle. In addition, some lettuce and onion leaves with a few stripes of ready-made salad dressing on top. I'd say get some inspiration from Downies and Brownies!

Lunch last Wednesday. Unfortunately this time it took a very long time before we got the food. Even had to ask for it. The food was fine. Today we had a delicious lunch at the Heeren van Oud Beijerland. Liked it. Food was of excellent quality & the service was friendly. Highly recommended!

Staff very friendly, food really bad. Spare ribs very dry, rest of the food was very little for the price. In short, once and never again. Update: the hamburger sandwich has caused food poisoning.

We ate with people. Just good food at a reasonable price. Very friendly and helpful people in the service: young but clearly with a heart for the profession (because that is what it is) and for the business. We would love to come back again.

Good eatery. Friendly staff. Beautiful terrace. Beautiful conservatory to sit in when the weather is less sunny. A wonderful place to meet friends while enjoying a snack and drink. This time a reunion with my brother and sister-in-law from Down Under and all their Dutch friends. They said that the food in this restaurant tastes very good and that they found the service excellent.

Several dishes were not available and therefore had to choose a more expensive dish. People after us received their food earlier, asked about it and as it turned out, our bread basket was not yet empty!!!!! The food tasted OK, but it was no fun for us. Had to wait 1.15 hours for the food.

Ate there for the first time with Peter and Annemiek, Annemiek lives there and recommended this restaurant to us, it was delicious

Lunchdate met een vriendin, ik bestelde zalm op wit brood. Een keurig royaal opgemaakt bordje werd voor mijn neus gezet. Ik sneed een stukje brood met zalm af en at het op. Tot mijn afgrijzen ontdek ik bovenop het gesneden eitje een haar!! Niet te missen. Ik vraag de ober het mee te nemen omdat ik dit echt niet meer weg krijg. "Sorry sorry, ik ga het gelijk regelen". Binnen 3 minuten...staat mijn 1e bordje voer weer voor mn neus, zonder haar, maar alles hetzelfde en rommeliger. Ik til de zalm op om te checken of ik gelijk heb, en ja..mijn afgesneden boterham lag er ook nog onder. Terug die hap..."sorry mannen, maar dit is dezelfde hap!!" Voor de 3e keer werd hetzelfde bord op tafel gezet, dit maal nóg rommeliger, uiteraard, met exact hetzelfde garnituur en dezelfde zalm frummels, evenals het tweelingtomaatje dat inmiddels steeds gehavender tevoorschijn kwam. Een andere ober ( eigenaar..geen idee) beweert met grootste stelligheid dat hij erbij heeft gestaan dat alles maar dan ook alles vers en nieuw is opgemaakt. Zelfs wanneer ik mijn wederom aangesneden bammetje laat zien onder de frummels zalm, houdt hij stug vol. Verdwijnt met bord en zegt gepikeerd..."" ik haal t wel vd rekening af"! Goed gedaan Heeren! Chapeau! Vriendelijkheid en eerlijkheid kost niks, een nieuw bord eten een paar euro, en een regelmatig terug kerende klant véél meer. Succes!

Lugar super aconchegante e romântico com uma ótima vista do centro da cidade

De vis was te gaar en smaakloos. Bijgerechtjes hetzelfde. Ik kan het zelf smaakvoller klaarmaken

Heerlijk geluncht met mijn schoonouders. Helaas zat mijn schoonvader steeds op de tocht bij het opengaan van de deur. Das best koud op een zeer winderige en natte (sinterklaas) dag met veel verloop van gasten. Misschien een aandachtspuntje? De gasten die binnenkomen hebben hun jas aan, de gasten die binnenzitten hebben geen jas aan en dat is niet prettig.

Tja vaste waarde op het dorp. Ik zou de verroeste pannetjes vervangen.

Lekker gegeten, de uiensoep had beter gekund de uien teveel gekookt. De omelet was heerlijk en fijn zonder spekkies voor mij. Vriendelijke en plezierige bediening.

Voor speciale gelegenheid (verjaardag) de Heeren weer eens aangedaan; ivm het jaargetijde is n de serre gezeten Gelukkig gereserveerd want het zat (gezellig) stampvol; de bekende kaart met extra vlees- en vis van de dag; uitgebreide drankjes-kaart en vriendelijke, behulpzame bediening ;ook oog voor evt allergieën Verbetersuggesties : oppakken in line reserveringen (op de site wordt aangegeven dat dit vanwege corona nu niet goed mogelijk is), zelf vind ik de termen ‘vlees- en viservaring’ wat over de top en zou ik ‘specials’ of (wellicht beter nog) ‘hoofdgerecht van de dag / buiten de kaart’ aanhouden; we zitten hier tenslotte ‘gewoon’ in de Hoeksche Waard… Tot slot : eerlijkheid gebiedt te zeggen dat de kaart al langdurig onveranderd is (maar hoeft geen probleem te zijn; in ieder geval niet voor ons) en dat in het verleden we nog wel eens geconfronteerd zijn geweest met onderbezetting in de bediening of de keuken waardoor iets te lange wachttijden ontstonden…); ook is (of was nu) parkeren in de nabijheid kan wel lastig zijn (was het in ieder geval nu met kermis op (het toch al niet al te grote) P2)

Kop koffie gedronken met een koekje erbij, die waren goed. We werden verder netjes geholpen.

Helemaal super dat ze hier rekening houden met allergieën etc wordt gewoon apart gekookt

hamburger duur maar toch van slechte kwaliteit valt het tegen, ik heb de desserts niet geproefd. Ik ben misschien een gerecht tegengekomen dat niet hun specialiteit is..

Lekker gegeten in een leuke ambiance.

Eten is perfect, en als het mooi weer is kan je lekker op het terras zitten 👍👌

Leuk terras om te genieten van het zonnetje. Uitzicht op het stadhuis.

Een leuke plek om gewoon lekker uit eten te gaan voor een betaalbare prijs. En zeker van dat laatste heb je nog maar weinig restaurants. De bediening was prima, de ambiance een beetje gedateerd. Ik vond de schnitzel heerlijk, maar de mixed grill toch echt wel aan de droge kant. Mocht je daar gaan eten raad ik de schnitzel zeker aan! Kortom, prima eten voor een zacht prijsje.

Op het terras gezeten en wat gedronken, prima tent!
