Delicious Indian food. The pashmiri naan was especially great.

Wow! Disgusting behavior from what seemed to be the owner. Restaurant had several empty tables that could fit my family of 5. We walked in and asked for a table of 4 because my niece that is 3 was asleep and already ate. An Indian man had the nerve to be a smart ass and correct us saying there was 5 of us because he wanted to make his guests laugh. Then proceeded to tell us that all the tables he has are booked as if half of the restaurant wasn’t empty! We’re not stupid, it’s very obvious this establishment doesn’t care about costumers and disrespects them - in front of an audience at that. If you had no available tables (which I doubt) be a professional and let us know in a proper manner.. not acting like a clown. Will never come here and you shouldn’t either if you want to be respected as a customer. Disgusting is not a strong enough word.

Delicious curries and friendly staff who pointed out the spiciness of each curry to my mother and then checked it to be sure. Their advice turned out to be perfect!

At Indiacorner, I feel like I'm coming home. Delicious, authentic Indian food. A wonderful host who senses the mood and plays along with it. Affordable wine completes the experience. We've been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Many thanks to the chef and owner.

Best peshwari Naan I have ever had. Was only in Haarlem for 3 nights and ate here twice. Food was delicious and service was great. I am editing this review as it won’t let me leave a second review. But had to comment again as I was back in Haarlem over a year later and came here again and it did not disappoint. Still the best peshwari naan and being remembered over a year later was lovely. If you are in Haarlem and want a restaurant with great food and service and local feel this is where to come.

We placed an order at India Corner (see photo): one Masala (€18.50), one Mild Saag (€18.00), and two garlic naan (€7.30). The delivery was perfectly on time, but unfortunately, the Masala, in particular, was very disappointing. The portion was small—only 9 pieces of chicken—which is really small for this price. When I called about it, the chef told me this was the standard amount. See the photo and judge for yourself. We also found the sauce very sweet, which wasn't to our liking—though that's a personal preference, of course. The chef said he would make it up to us next time if we mentioned this as a note on our next order. Still, I think we'll wait and see for now. For this price, you simply expect more.

Mr. Rocky is Really Gentleman, he asked me everything before placing order how much spicy 🌶️ you want , so that we will make that standard , i met Mr. Asif the Chef , i thanks to him for such delicious food after many days , hughly Recommended this Restaurent…. Had a great meal at India Corner tonight😋 Kata Masala (lamb) and Tandoori Chicken were exceptionally tasty and authentically prepared. Delicious freshly baked Nan bread with it. Deliciously fragrant rice. Very friendly gentleman who served us. In short, perfect! And that for a very acceptable price. Only point for improvement: perhaps decorate the restaurant a bit more atmospheric😇

Pricing was reasonable for the quality and portion size. Great stop for dinner on our 3 day trip in Haarlem. Would recommend and would return if we re-visit Haarlem on a future vacation.

We absolutely loved it here, we visited as a couple staying a night in Haarlem. The service was above and beyond. The chef heard we were English and took the effort to come and ask how we'd like our curry prepared. Quaint lovely little Indian restaurant.

ordered food via home delivery. this experience was in stark contrast to a previous visit of ours to the physical restaurant. for 40 euros we were very disappointed in the amount of saag paneer and vegetables in relation to the rice. And unfortunately the quality of the naan was also disappointing. For 40 euros we expected more! The food was also very spicy despite the desire for medium spiciness. not recommended.

Love Indian food, but this is one of the lesser options in Haarlem so far. Unfortunately. Naan was still good, but other dishes (Saag, Muglai, Madras) just not tasty

Charming restaurant, food is tasty, but not high quality. The waiter is very hospitable and friendly.

I'm not really a fan of spicy food, but here you can eat a delicious sweet curry. Add a beer and not that expensive at all. The operation is very unique. The owner runs the restaurant together with the chef. This means that you sometimes have to wait longer for food than you are used to. But it is more than worth it.

In the past this was the best Indian restaurant in Haarlem. Despite a clash with the owner I have always recommended this restaurant. We ordered online recently and it was always good. Now we get a vegetarian version instead of Elachi with lamb and that without any contact about it. We had to pay €3.50 per portion and no compensation for the extra costs. We tasted it and it was also of very poor quality. It was not as Elachi should taste (I have often eaten it from India Corner) and we had garlic naan. However, it was delivered without garlic and was not prepared properly. Actually, because I had a clash with the owner, I did not want to write a bad review but this was really out of proportion.

Food was excellent, the menu messy and unclear. The service was ok. Sometimes we had to wait a long time for an order, then it was ready, but mutual communication was not in order. The atmosphere could also be better, it was quite basic. But for me it all comes down to the food and it was just very good! Compliments to the chef🔝👌🏼

The portion sizes are just way too small. The food is good but for the price the portions should be bigger. Not spicy unless if you have the taste buds of a child.

Only one waiter for the whole restaurant. He did his best but the waiting time was very long. The lamb masala was tasty but could have been a little spicier.

Having been to this wonderful restaurant many times, it is finally time to leave a review. The service is amazing, very personal to say the least. When you get to know the employees, you really feel at home. And we haven't even gotten to the best part, the food. The chef is extremely talented and knows how to make everything delicious, from making sweet Nan bread to spicy curries. If you like Indian food, go here, you will not regret it.

The wonderful host Rocky and the amazing chef Asif let you in on all that India has to offer! The perfect balance between spice and flavour makes you appreciate all the delicious meals! I had an absolute blast and will definitely return!! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are thinking about Indian food!

My friend has told me many times of this amazing restaurant, so today it was finally time to visit. The warm and friendly Rocky makes you feel very welcome, and serves you always with a smile. The fantastic chef Asif can make anything delicious. The spicy hotwings, the sweet naan bread and the juicy Hara Kebab were absolutely delicious. I left this place with a full belly and a smile.

One of my favourite indian restaurants for sure. The food is top notch. We had the dhaka street kabab for starter, dum biriyani, tandoori chicken chilli for main course and kulfi for dessert. The ambience and service is very good as well. Every penny is worth it!

Beste Indiase eten van heel Haarlem

Zeer veel ervaring met Indiase restaurants. Maar dit restaurant is heel erg bijzonder. De vegetable pakora met tamarinde saus is geniaal voorgerecht maar belachelijk goedkoop (5,50) De Saag-curry is ook heel erg lekker , alles vers met veel verschillende smaken. Mooie persoonlijke bediening en ook de geniale chef kwam nog even langs. Tafelgenoten waaronder een vleeseter waren ook zeer enthousiast

Quite simply a great Indian experience. The appetizers were amazing, soup, pakora. Lamb was tender, veg dishes were substantial. Most importantly the spice level was a question asked by the team. Super spicy was amazing if you like heat in your curry. This restaurant is a local legend.

Best Indian in town. Great taste and good service. By mistake I made a wrong order, but they were very helpful. Get the garlic Naan and the Muglai. You'll won't regret it!

the food is Indian but taste wise it's Dutch.. So, if you are looking for true Indian taste... So, this is not the place for you! But, their kulfi was really good..

Voor de tweede keer gegeten bij India Corner. Niet alleen heerlijk eten, maar ook zeer vriendelijke bediening. Houden rekening met al je wensen.

We had some of the vegetarian dishes, one was made vegan to suit our needs. We could also chose between multiple levels of spicyness. It all was super delicious, not too spicy, but the taste was just wonderful. We came on a calm evening and the service was super relaxed and friendly. All in all a great experience. We'll come back next time we're in Haarlem.

De smaken van de gerechten zijn gewéldig! Iedere keer verrast de chef ons. Je kunt zelf aangeven hoe pittig je het liefst eet. De bediening is uiterst vriendelijk en niets is te veel! Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die heerlijk wil eten!!

Incredible slow service. The restaurant is used by a lot of home delivery couriers, however if you order yourself it takes forever. Tikka masala and a naan bread… one hour? Probably easier to order a home delivery and you get us sooner. Quality of food is good. Masala was sweet, and lacked a bit is spice. But overall it was ok. So you can go there when not in a rush.

Ons etentje bij dit restaurant was helaas een teleurstelling. Bij binnenkomst viel me op dat de tafeltjes een beetje smoezelig waren, maar ik wilde daar niet moeilijk over doen. We werden vriendelijk te woord gestaan en kregen een drankje en de kaart. De gerechten op de kaart zijn anders dan je gewend bent in een Indiaas restaurant. Dat is wel leuk en verfrissend. Na een discussie over hoe pittig het eten mocht zijn kozen we vooraf de auberginesoep en chicken chat, daarna bahari paneer, Kata massala, garlic naan en panjabi cholla. Na laaang wachten ontvingen we de voorgerechten. De Chicken chat smaakte prima en de auberginesoep had weinig smaak, er zat wel genoeg pittigheid in. Daarna kregen we papadums met dips, met de opmerking dat we die eigenlijk eerder hadden moeten krijgen. De papadums glommen van het vet en de sausjes waren niet bijzonder. Ook de hoofdgerechten smaakten niet erg kruidig, het was niet erg bijzonder. Hoewel de Kata massala medium pittig zou zijn, zat er minder pit in dan in de bahari paneer die dan weer mild zou zijn. De paneer was wel lekker en stevig en de Kata massala had-in tegenstelling tot de andere gerechten- wel smaak. De garlic naan smaakte goed, was knapperig wat ons wel beviel. We hebben lang gewacht om drinken te bestellen. Toen de bediening het drinken van mijn man vervolgens om gooide en hem geen nieuw drankje aanbood, was voor ons de lol er wel van af. Na een bezoek aan de wc, waarbij ik een blik op de keuken heb geworpen, zag er ook niet heel schoon en georganiseerd uit, hebben we ons eten opgegeten en zijn na weer lang wachten naar de kassa gelopen om te betalen. Daar moesten we zelf alles opnoemen dat we besteld hadden want het was niet bijgehouden. Kortom, als je wachten niet erg vindt, is dit een restaurant waar je je kleine kinderen en je oma mee naar toe kan nemen omdat de smaken niet erg bijzonder zijn. Moet je wel hopen dat ze geen last krijgen van hun maag van de vette papadums of de viezige keuken en inrichting.
