The food and service was really really good! The waitress asked several questions and made sure we would enjoy the food! Also the prices are quite reasonable for the portions.

There is this something, something extra this restaurant delivers, there is this genuine sincere way of making contact. There is great food, there is great service, swift and accurate. And I therefor wonder what the family is talking about behind the counter ;-). And I expect that talk in a good way! And the price is absolutely right!

Well, typically Indonesian, although the typical curry dishes are missing from the menu. We had a menu for two with a bit of everything and had Indonesian beers with it.

Hey, Rico ketenKAAK here. I was here the other day and walked in at 11:03 PM even though it was closed; I thought, they can't ignore such a sweet, hulking man. But they did. I walked in and was immediately told it was closed. Ridiculous. REALLY ridiculous. Despite this remark, I placed my order anyway. I ordered 200 plain frikandellen for my daughter's first birthday. Specifically BALD, so my sweet daughter wouldn't choke on those beautiful things. Even more beautiful when they are bald, though you have to take my word for it. The staff responded by saying that unfortunately they didn't sell frikandellen and that they were sorry my daughter didn't get a BALD frikandel (highly recommended, by the way) for her birthday. Since this is an Indian restaurant, I had expected them to at least have BALD frikandellen on the menu; apparently not. I found that very strange. All in all, I had a good time, even though I was only there for a short while.

Friendly staff, delicious food at a fair price. The prices aren't too high here. "Hot" is perfectly acceptable. The interior could use some ambiance though.

What a lovely place to eat! The atmosphere is great, with carefully selected music that perfectly complements the restaurant. The food is fantastic. There's also a wide selection, without getting lost in the menu. After a good experience, I returned today, and I already know it won't be my last. Authentic, flavorful, and a nice variety of spicy and non-spicy dishes, with a well-balanced spice level. A true family restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A Haarlem must-have and a no-brainer for those struggling with dinner choices.

We ordered food here, but the experience was unfortunately disappointing. The delivery took over an hour, so the food was only lukewarm upon arrival. The bread was very tough. Considering the relatively high price, we really expected more.

I know exactly where I ate because I often got takeout food from your "Taste of India" takeaway. I admit, it was always tasty, but what I got recently was a joke! I won't go into detail, but I've never seen so much oil in food. Everything was just floating, it was impossible to eat.

In two words: delicious food! Excellent value for money and good, flavorful dishes. Very attentive and friendly staff: we received exactly the right advice because we couldn't decide ourselves :-).

Yesterday, my son's birthday was here for dinner with his best friends, and what a wonderful experience it was! Even beforehand, the owner and team were incredibly helpful: they were creative and enthusiastic. On the night itself, everything was presented in a fun, friendly, and festive way, and every dish was creatively and deliciously prepared. This restaurant truly knows what a genuine guest experience is. Kudos to the entire team and the chef!

Cozy restaurant, great food (first time). Only the lamb samosa starter was a bit disappointing. Too spicy, and the flavor was overpowered by coriander seeds. Otherwise, everything was excellent, and the dedication and friendliness of the staff—father, mother, son, and daughter—is truly exceptional. It's wonderful that such a family runs the restaurant together. It was packed when we arrived and quite noisy, but it was a very pleasant atmosphere. And the prices are reasonable.

A delicious eatery where you don't have to rush. Our group of six had to wait almost half an hour for the appetizer, and once that was finished, at least another half hour for the main course.

Last weekend I had dinner at Taste of India and it was a good experience. The service was very friendly and the food was on the table surprisingly quickly. The flavors were certainly good, although in my opinion it could have been slightly warmer and more refined - something I often see at Indian restaurants. The portions were ample and surprisingly affordable. Truly unique in these times when everything is becoming more expensive. Here you can eat well for a good price. Highly recommended for those who love a good, affordable meal!

The best Indian in Haarlem but the bar is set very low. Amsterdam has several stellar lndian restaurants these days. Many Haarlem residents are waiting for the day a top class lndian in Haarlem. Meanwhile, we will continue going to Amsterdam if we want a decent Indian.

We love Indian food but this was not the flavor which is for us so typical about the Indian kitchen. Everything tasted a bit the same from the curry to the butter chicken and quite dull as well. Service was a quite slow but pleasant.

We received a warm welcome last night in the attractive, intimate restaurant Taste of India. It was our first time in an Indian restaurant and the "lady of the house" introduced us to delicious Indian dishes with various Indian dishes. We enjoyed it!

The most disappointing butter chicken we have ever eaten. This was nothing more than rice with a bland sauce.

Take away 1x chicken madras and 1x butter chicken. The sauce only contained large pieces of chicken, tasted exactly the same, only a lot spicier, I even added vegetables. Taste was okay but not worth repeating.

Ordered for 7 people yesterday for take out. The flavours were there, but nothing was spicy at all, more so on the sweeter side I’d say. The samosas were good! Unfortunately, 4 out of 7 people ate something wrong because they complained about stomach aches and feeling sick this morning.

We ordered here for the first time. The Samosas were delicious. The other food was fine but no more than that. It doesn't have to be hot for me, but I always like a little pepper. I had the feeling that that wasn't possible here at all. I also found it a bit watery. I've had better. Delivery was super fast, so that was more than fine.
