The manager was very rude and unhelpful. Service was often amiss. They placed everything next to the child, including hot items and drinks. We pointed this out several times. The waitress (a very young woman) whom we complimented literally said, "My manager disagrees." Ridiculously expensive: €50 per person, excluding dessert and drinks, with no special Christmas menu. A child under 18 is allowed to eat with the order (two dishes per person every 8 minutes). If you want to order separately for them, you have to pay €25 for the children's menu. When paying, the manager entered the amount on the card, walked away, and never returned. He didn't ask if everything was to our liking or if we had a nice evening. Nothing... scandalous, never again.

Great all you can ear sushi. Delicious foods, fresh and the plates are very well decorated, super appreciated. The place is also quite spacious, and not too packed, so you don't feel cramped. Also clean. The price is reasonable. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The only thing prevented me to give a full 5* is it was kinda slow. We often have to wait a bit and wasn't sure if certain selection would came (they were always served though). Totally recommended.

Since last year, the concept has undergone significant changes. The first version of the new concept was truly inadequate, with one main course and a very limited side dish per round. Fortunately, that's been adjusted, and I think the result is better than the original concept, where you often had far too many dishes on the table at once. Originally, it was 5 dishes per round, 5 rounds. Now it's 2 dishes per round, unlimited within three hours. There's still the rule that you can only order a new round after 8 minutes, but that takes effect immediately after you order. You really don't notice it. If you really want to, you can easily get 18-22 dishes within three hours. But I, a big eater, absolutely can't manage that. The menu has also been updated. Some items have disappeared, and new dishes have been added. I won't elaborate; there's more than enough choice: sushi, Chinese, Thai. The quality is generally high. The presentation has improved. Many portions are a bit larger, some a bit smaller. My only real complaint is a personal one: the duck and meat dishes (cha siu, for example) are served with various sauces, which I don't always find entirely successful. But never bad. The owner and staff are, as always, super friendly. I always enjoyed coming here, and I had some reservations about the new concept. But with the recent adjustments, we're very satisfied again. I was there early and not very busy. Everything came out fairly quickly. I'm curious to see how it would be when it's busier. With two dishes per round, that should be an improvement for the kitchen. We'll try that out later.

The service was very good, I have nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, this was one of the few things that was good about this place. The sushi was fine, I would say a 6/10, but all the other food such as the tenderloin, carpaccio and salmon tartare were very disappointing. Every time I ordered something new I was curious about what I would get, unfortunately I was often disappointed with the taste. The tenderloin steak was not seasoned in my opinion and not cooked properly. I liked the mushrooms the most and that was because of the teriyaki sauce. I will not come here again.

Despite the fact that the food was very tasty, the staff was very unfriendly. We could sit down right away (we had made a reservation). We were given a tablet without any explanation? We waited a very long time for a few dishes (sushi), about an hour and a half, some dishes never arrived. The staff carries the plates in such a way that their fingers are in the food, the receipts are in the sauce so the staff also have to remove them with their (bare) hands, not very tasty. The staff is not friendly and you are fobbed off when you ask when your food will arrive. Next to us, 2 people were kissing each other the whole time, the staff didn't say anything so we finally did it ourselves. When paying, we stood next to a man who smelled very bad (like poop). I find that very strange if you work in the catering industry! In short, this is unfortunately not recommended.

Run in the mill AYCE concept. iPad works very clumsily and does not always respond to clicks. Service was not all the enthusiastic students, but that was clearly due to their very grumpy boss. We got all dishes at random times, so dishes from the second round only came around the 4th round. One time an empty table and the other time way too full with dishes that we had forgotten we had ordered. Food had clearly just been taken out of the freezer, sashimi caparccio and other fish were very cold. Towards the end the same dishes were the right temperature. Most sushi was just greasy and tasteless, some warm dishes like the duck were tasty. Sushi were very big, so it was two bites. Avoid cold, eat warm at restaurant Judo. Ps: you are not allowed to order water in a carafe.

My boyfriend and I recently visited Restaurant Judo, attracted by a recommendation from a friend and an attractive promotion on TikTok. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a very disappointing experience. We had made a reservation for 7:00 PM and arrived a little earlier, around 6:50 PM. After waiting for about ten minutes at the entrance, we were escorted to our table. Once seated, we were then completely ignored by the staff for over fifteen minutes. Restaurant Judo works with an ‘all you can eat’ concept where, according to the rules, you can order a new round every 8 minutes. In reality, this was not possible for us at all. We did not receive a tablet like some other tables, but had to use a paper order form. It was only after fifteen minutes that an employee came to explain that the tablets were empty. Not a disaster in itself, but you only received one form at a time, and it took an average of half an hour before we could even speak to someone to get a new form or to pick up our order. Our first order, two dishes and drinks per person, was written on the form around 19:15. It took until 19:30 for someone to come and pick it up. After that, nothing happened again. Around 20:00, a full hour after arriving, we still hadn’t received any food or drinks. We asked several times whether our order had come through, but received evasive or vague answers. In the meantime, we noticed that other tables were experiencing exactly the same problems: long waiting times, confusion about the ordering procedure, and frustration about the lack of communication. The atmosphere in the restaurant became increasingly uncomfortable. Some guests even left their tables without having eaten. After several requests, we finally received a second order form, but that also involved waiting and making an effort to speak to a member of staff. When the crowds seemed to be decreasing around 20:15, we asked again if we could get a tablet. At first we got a blunt ‘no’, but ten minutes later we suddenly got one anyway, a sign of poor internal communication. It was only after the manager intervened that we finally got our first drinks and dishes, more than an hour and a half after we had arrived. From that moment on, we could order via the tablet, which made the process a bit easier. Unfortunately, things kept going wrong: dishes were missing at almost every round, especially the sushi and sashimi were consistently not delivered. Other tables also complained about this. At around 21:30 we decided to order a dessert. It only arrived at 21:45, fifteen minutes before closing time. Shortly afterwards, when we had actually already finished eating, the sushi and sashimi that we had ordered an hour earlier suddenly arrived. In short: the ‘all you can eat’ concept was not fulfilled at all. We could hardly order as intended due to a lack of organization, insufficient staff and poor communication. The staff did what they could, but the whole system failed. An evening that was meant to be a pleasant dinner turned out to be mainly frustrating and chaotic. A real shame, because we had high expectations.

Renewed concept – positively surprised! After a long time, we decided to visit again, despite previous doubts due to negative reviews and stories about the changed concept. Fortunately, the concept has now been adjusted again – and in a very positive way as far as we are concerned! Where we previously heard about orders every 15 minutes and mandatory side dishes, it now turned out to be much more pleasant: you can order a maximum of 2 dishes per person every 8 minutes. The nice thing is that those 8 minutes start immediately after your order, so you can calmly make your next choice and start a new round just in time. This ensures a nice, constant flow without long waiting times at the table. The dishes themselves are slightly larger than before, which means that you are satisfied faster and remember more easily what you have already ordered. In any case, we were completely full within 1.5 hours. Also nice: the presentation has become more beautiful, the food is served on stylish tableware, and the quality is excellent. The sashimi, for example, can now be ordered without extra charge – and it was really delicious. For dessert you do pay a small surcharge (€1.50 for an ice cream), but we thought that was reasonable. As far as we are concerned, the renewed concept is an improvement on all fronts. Fast service, clear ordering moments, good food and a pleasant experience – also for children. In short: give it a chance (again) – we will definitely come back!

We were there because our niece had graduated. The food was delicious, but we had to wait a really long time for the sushi. Every time we asked about it, we were told it was coming. One of the waitresses (super long hair) was so unfriendly to customers. She was almost rude. Also, certain dishes we ordered never arrived at our table. Food from other tables came to us and was quickly taken away again. Also, they often didn't say what was being brought. Once a waitress said it was sushi with salmon. Luckily I had taken a piece and it turned out to be shrimp. My brother is allergic to shrimp and had almost eaten it. I had the idea that they couldn't handle the pressure. Too bad, because it looks really nice there and the food is good.

All sushi/sashimi dishes were either not delivered or after a very long time (40+ minutes). Asked several times where it was but always got the same answer 'on its way'. I do not agree with most of the latest reviews (however it is my first time trying so I am unsure about their previous service). The portions were very big - I had plenty of leftovers for the next day, so I would say worth the money. I ordered bami with sate and it was delicious. The chicken was very tender and tasty. My boyfriend ordered nasi with babi panggang and it was also very good! I would definitely recommend and go back myself maybe to try the all you can eat. Staff were extremely friendly, and the food was ready quite fast.

Al 5 jaar lang haal ik mijn eten bij de afhaal, nu maar eens het restaurant proberen met mijn familieleden. Vanaf het moment dat we binnenkwamen, werden we hartelijk verwelkomd door het vriendelijke personeel. De sfeer is warm en stijlvol, perfect voor een gezellige avond uit. Het eten was absoluut heerlijk, verse ingrediënten en vol van smaak. Vooral de Thaise garnalen, een echte aanrader! De service was snel en attent, zonder opdringerig te zijn. Daarnaast was alles keurig schoon en goed georganiseerd. Kortom: een toprestaurant waar we zeker nog eens terugkomen!

The old Judo concept was amazing and truly worth visiting. Unfortunately, the new menu is a huge disappointment. The food has become overpriced, with significantly less variety. We had to wait an unreasonably long time for sushi, and the drinks are now insanely expensive. In the past, the higher prices were justified by the outstanding quality and selection of food, but that is no longer the case. Sadly, it’s just not worth coming here anymore. Please consider bringing back the old concept—otherwise, you risk losing your loyal customers.

We have been coming to Judo for years. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food and friendly service. But tonight was really the last time. In the old concept you could order a maximum of 25 dishes per person for almost 40 euros per person. Tonight we paid a total of 120 euros for 24 dishes (with three people). In addition, the order went wrong about 5 times. And a round of drinks that we were offered as compensation turned out to be on the bill after all. The excuse was that it was very chaotic tonight. But we can't do anything about that and still have to pay 160 euros. Too bad, but for us an era of good food at Judo has come to an end.

After our family has been regular customers here for years, we no longer come. Prices have increased while drinks were already not included. Menu has changed, all the tasty things are no longer on the menu. No rice dishes/nasi/loose fries/shrimp skewer/chicken skewer/grilled meat available separately anymore. The manager is a curmudgeon who only makes sure you don't eat too much in those 3 hours. All desserts are now only available for a fee. Unfriendly Chinese staff. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone anymore, they only want to make money from you and the quality of the food/menu has deteriorated significantly. They should be ashamed.

Ze hebben het concept veranderd en het is afschuwelijk! Veel te grote porties waardoor je veel minder gerechtjes kan proeven en veel eerder vol zit. Heel veel lekkere items zijn verdwenen van de lijst (geen bananen maki meer). De recepten zijn veranderd (geen roomkaas meer in de beef maki) etc. De prijzen pp zijn 5 eur omhoog gegaan. Bovendien moet je nu ook de toetjes en niet alleen de drankjes apart betalen. Toetjes zit dus niet meer in de prijs inbegrepen en je mag nog maar 1 gerecht per keer bestellen. Maaaar je mag wel 3 hele uren blijven zitten!! Waarvoor?? na een kwartier ben je vol!! Gisteren met z’n 3en wezen eten en na 20 minuten weggegaan. Spijt dat we betaald hebben: EUR134,= geklaagd bij de manager (?) en om compensatie gevraagd. Kregen we alleen maar een dom feedback kaartje omdat het niet zou helpen als hij het alleen door zou geven!! Nou feedback kan je krijgen! Waarschijnlijk is dit alleen aantrekkelijk voor grote groepen maar niet meer om even snel met je gezin gezellig te gaan eten. Bovendien kwam dit nieuwe concept niet ten goede van de kwaliteit van het eten. We hebben letterlijk mensen zien opstaan en weggaan. Dat hadden wij ook moeten doen. Ik hoop dat ze heel veel slechte feedback krijgen en dit gauw weer terugdraaien.

Na jarenlang een vaste klant te zijn geweest, zijn wij diep teleurgesteld in het nieuwe concept en de prijsstructuur van jullie restaurant. De beperking van één item per persoon is absurd, zeker gezien de belofte dat je er meer van zou krijgen. Het idee van shared dining is verdwenen, en wat we kregen was smakeloos, slecht bereid en schandalig duur. Na slechts twee items te hebben gegeten, zijn we teleurgesteld vertrokken. Toen we de manager aanspraken, werden onze zorgen compleet genegeerd. Het is onbegrijpelijk dat er €134,- werd gerekend voor 3 drankjes en 6 stukjes sushi, terwijl tijdens mijn gesprek meerdere klanten eveneens teleurgesteld het restaurant verlieten. Na ongeveer 30 bezoeken waarbij we altijd tevreden waren, hadden we op zijn minst een vorm van compensatie of erkenning van onze klacht verwacht. Helaas was er niets dan onverschilligheid. Dit was de laatste keer dat wij – en de rest van onze familie – jullie restaurant bezochten. Jammer dat het op deze manier moet eindigen.

I have eaten here for many years with great satisfaction. With each change of ownership, the quality and service got worse and worse. Now it's really not what it once was. Disinterested staff, the wrong things put on the table several times, things they don't have are randomly replaced without any explanation. And if you leave it alone, you will be held accountable. And all this without a Wok, the tjaptjoi chicken consists of only cooked ingredients, so the chicken fillet is also only cooked in water. The vegetables are (mis en place) pre-cooked but not cooked and still almost raw. While you expect the ingredients to at least see the inside of a wok. Unfortunately, that is not the case, which greatly affects the taste and texture. The portion of white rice is often heated in the microwave. This causes the rice grains to dry out and that is unpleasant. Why people think that customers do not realize this is a mystery to me.

Amazing place. We live in the neighborhood, were here multiple times, and always liked it. But visited this restaurant yesterday again after quite a long break, and it became even better (although slightly more expensive too - inflation, nothing to do about it)! Usually, in all you can eat places you get a lot of food, but the quality and the taste are not the best. This does not apply at all to this fantastic restaurant. The choice of dishes and their taste, the quality of ingredients and cooking are just amazing. Probably one of my very favorite restaurants ever. Kids liked it a lot too and want to go again, also because of a lot of delicious ice-cream.

We have been a loyal customer at this Judo restaurant for years, but that will stop from now on. In recent years, the atmosphere, service and customer friendliness have declined drastically. Every time we reserve a table, we are surprised that what we order arrives incomplete or not at all. This time too we had to swat away flies, and this time we had to swat away really big flies. In any case, this does not give us a good feeling about the hygiene of this restaurant. Once again unfriendly service, although this time it was slightly better than last time. It is the delicious food that won us over this time too, but from now on that will be the last time. A plant on the windowsill that has not tasted a drop of water containing aphids for a century is not a calling card. This attracted, among other things, the large flies, which really spoiled our appetite. This was dismissed after we had pushed the plant away with the comment that it needed a little water and this was refilled during our dinner. Ultimately the plant was removed. Didn't receive any apologies as a loyal customer that seemed to make any sense, which was a shame. End of Judo

The food is very good but they shouldn't advertise that the restaurant is "all you can eat". You are entitled to 5 rounds of 5 pieces. This is in small print on the website, but they really shouldn't advertise all you can eat. For me, it was enough, but if you're hoping to eat until you can't eat anymore, go to a restaurant that really is all you can eat.

We thought the food was quite tasty until a spoiled oyster arrived that put our hunger to rest quite nicely. I have no idea how a chef let this out of the kitchen because it smelled really bad. We ordered sushi tuna, but the fish was everything but fresh and the quality was really bad, therefore I send it back. The food overall was medium. In the end I still had to pay for the dish I send back… even thought I didn’t ate it… because according to them I ordered it, that’s it…. Instead of taking it off the bill and say sorry for the inconvenience or gave me something else what was fresh, the (what I think) owner or the manager made a big scene in the restaurant, and made a big deal about a couple of euros over normal service to the costumers. And at the end she blamed even the waiters, which was not ok, cause they didn’t do anything wrong. It was a really bad experience and she made sure with this behavior costumers don’t come back anymore. It was very shamefull There are many good Japanese restaurants with have much better quality food and for sure much better service. The best thing tonight were the waiters, they were really nice and had a good energy

I’d give the food three stars and the service two stars. Guests should not be questioning the cost of food. Apparently the guest should know without a server telling them that there is no a la carts ordering. That’s great that two dishes of sashimi will cost you 35 bucks. They won’t be seeing me again. UPDATE: almost 4 years later this is still the worst restaurant I’ve been to despite having moved 7 times and visited 5 countries. Statistics are crazy! I just remember how much of a rude the server or floor manager was when I explained my confusion for the bill. Just arrogant, entitled, and angry with me. HEAVEN FORBID I QUESTION THEIR AUTHORITY TO DECEIVE THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Tried many different all you can eat restaurants in the Netherlands and this one is the best all you can eat so far! Also recommend if you are vegan, you can ask the waiter that the chef doesn’t put any mayonnaise on the sushi’s that you order! They have a different menu at the take away, more authentic Cantonese food. Call before you order take away, because there is a lot of people lining up in the rush hours. Top tier: beef black pepper in honey sauce & green curry shrimp ✅

Judo is een lekker all you can eat restaurant met een gezellige sfeer. Is niet mega groot, waardoor het binnen wat knusser is. Eten was goed heet en vers, en vriendelijk (nieuw) personeel. Parkeren is helaas ZEER beperkt, dus moet je de auto aan de weg zetten dat betaald parkeren is. Toegankelijk voor invalide in rolstoel, en kinderen (die niet rond rennen en gillen). Voor mensen die geen Sushi eten (zoals ik), is er ruime keuze uit andere hapjes.
