It’s says afgans restaurant . But there no test of Afgan food. Price is so higher than food quantity . There no meat with Qablio pelow. They gave biriany with vegetable but they didn’t mention about there also have kip biriany. Poor quality of food. Price is not fair with food completely. Service was not so satisfied. They forget about drinks we ordered.

I have to say I am disappointed. The service was really bad. It took forever to place our order and the staff didn't seem to care about our needs. Also, the food wasn't fresh and just didn't taste good. The dishes were lukewarm and seemed to have been ready for a while. It was really disappointing and I expected much more. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

Nice restaurant. Delicious food; rice table classic definitely recommended! Unfortunately, the service in terms of drinks drops off a bit after you have received the main course. All in all, highly recommended.

Went here yesterday to eat for Iftar. The food was really delicious. Choice to take a composed iftar menu, 4 courses or order a la carte. We went for the four courses. It was delicious. Delicious Afghan soup, samosa, then various main courses with two types of rice and salad and a really delicious dessert (you can choose from all the desserts on the menu) with then Aghan green tea with cardamom. Really great!!! Really delicious and definitely worth repeating! The rest of the place is very neat, clean and nicely decorated restaurant. Neatly greeted at the entrance. Coats were taken and we were given a number to pick up our coats later. Good service, good service. great! I recommend this place!

Service was excellent, atmosphere too, but the food is disappointing, not 'afghanian' at all, I think it's more of a fusion, of the dishes we had we thought the fries with truffle mayonnaise were the tastiest and it was ridiculously expensive.

I recently had dinner at Kite, and it was a fantastic experience! The restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious – the flavors were authentic and rich, and the dishes were perfectly prepared.

We booked a cocktail workshop at Kite with a small group. An incredibly fun and enjoyable experience. The bartender Casper really has a passion for cocktails and is incredibly creative in devising and making cocktails himself. We tasted several of his cocktails and were then able to make our own cocktail, where he thinks along with you about what you would like. Also with mocktails! A very pleasant experience, I would recommend it to everyone!

We came here remember a very good experience we had in summer. Nothing to say: it Is still a nice place. The food is good (it could be a bit hotter), service is ok, table are too small if you ask for the special mixed dishes, music a bit too loud. But, you have to come and try, you Wii not be disappointed.

Kite special chosen for 3 people, very tasteful. Portions were sufficient for us and the service was fine. Definitely come back here. I just don't quite understand the disco balls on the ceiling, but that doesn't detract from the delicious food.

Let me first talk about service. I suddenly felt that I have been transported to some country which is good in service industry like country in Asia. Staff is so good and friendly, unlike what you will see in most restaurants in Netherlands. Atmosphere is pretty much like a fine dine restaurant place but in very budget friendly price. Food, goodness it tastes so delicious. We tried most of the food from menu and were not disappointed. A very good fusion restaurant as well. There flatbread and dip you shouldn’t be missing, it sounds something very basic but you will be amazed with its taste.

Food is nice but it is tapas so you need to order a lot to be full. The cheesecake and the mocktails are amazing 😍

We had a rice table for 4 people. Food was very mediocre, fine, but it was absolutely not worth 75 pp (no expensive ingredients such as fish etc were used) I also think the portions are very small. For 4 people you expect more. You only get 1 meat skewer per 2 people. How do they do it when only 2 people order? Serving half skewers? Especially if you come from Iran or Afghanistan, I think it will be disappointing. It was not the case that something was prepared for you per person. Every dish came straight from a large pan in their kitchen. In any case, we won't be going back.

First time trying out Afghan cuisine and we couldn’t have picked out a better place. Beautiful restaurant, delicious authentic food and great service. We ordered the Kite’s Special (2 ppl) and got to enjoy a little bit of everything. The dessert we ordered was also super different than what you’d find in other restaurants, the Sheer Chai Ice. And lastly the cocktails were also so nice. Would definitely want to come again and try out their other dishes.

Had such a fun girls night! Celebrated our bestie’s bday dinner with great food, great drinks 🤍 compliments to all the staff!!

The food was too pricey for the small portions you got. The rice was not cooked properly and you had to pay 10 euros extra per person to sit inside... Not recommended!

the food is great, no doubt, but far to small portions for that money… you have to be lucky to get someone to your table to order a drink… for that money i would expect a far beter service… the personal doesnt seem to be very interested to serve their guests… its difficult to find good people to work i guess…

One of my favourite restaurants in The Netherlands. The food is NEXT LEVEL, the atmosphere is great, the cocktails give other places a run for their money, and to top it all off their staff makes it all come together! 10/10 🙏🏾

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience at that Kite restaurant. The prices are very high for the portion you get. There were four of us and we ordered the rice table. We could not get our food separately for the rice table that we ordered. It was €40 per person, so €160 in total for 4 x the rice table. We didn't know that it was very little for the €160 we paid. The rice was so little that we had to order again (a very small portion for €8.5). Our order also included eggplant that is eaten with bread, but there was no bread and we also had to order bread (2 x small bread for 9 €). Therefore I will not recommend anyone especially the foreigners for that restaurant.

Food is great! Unless you order ash it is more soup than what it really should be. It should be firm rather than soupy.

Unfortunately I have to give a 1. Not a pleasant experience. Point 1: The portions and prices. The prices are very high for the portion you get. Especially the rice table that we ordered. We took the rice table twice because there were two of us, and that is mandatory according to the restaurant. It was €40 per person, so €80 in total for 2x the rice table. We didn't know it was SO LITTLE for the €80 we paid... Incredibly unfortunate. I will add a photo of the rice table. Point 2: The atmosphere. It was a nice place and I wanted to have a nice evening of chatting with delicious Afghan food with my friend who came along. The music was SO loud, it almost felt like a nightclub. I could barely understand my friend. We indicated this 3 times during the evening whether it could be at least a few notches lower. It looked like a nightclub. This was not heeded. Shame! Point 3: I wanted to take a few things to go because it was getting too late for us. I asked the waitress if that was possible. Instead of taking the food to the back and packing it to go herself, she brought me a to-go box and I had to pack it myself. That is not nice in the eyes of other guests. Point 4: Some waitresses sometimes seemed disrespectful.

What a wonderful experience, food was very tasty, nice atmosphere and nice staff. Recommended!

Delicious food. Cozy atmosphere and everything looked clean. Service was excellent and location easily accessible. The only downside might be that the portions are a bit too small. As two ladies (not vegetable eaters), we easily finished a double rice table, which doesn't happen often 😅

Cozy ambience, live dj on weekends, pre-reservation of table mandatory. Table reservation on website cost 10 p.p.

Our previous visit to Kite was a couple of years ago. We recently went back with a group of friends. Apparently they changed the menu, since they no longer offered the three/four course pre-selected menu's. Which is quite a shame, because we really liked those menu's! This time we decided to take the rijsttafel classic for four persons. The amount of food was insufficient, most of us were still hungry after the main course. The price of the restaurant has also increased a lot, we paid around €50 per person for a main course, dessert and two drinks. Making a reservation at the restaurant now also costs €10 per person. This amount is deducted from your final bill, but I still found it very unusual to pay €40 euro to make a table reservation.

I went to this restaurant because of the pictures I saw. The photos gave me the impression that the food would be phenomenal. Unfortunately, the food looks much tastier than it is. The food itself is fine, but nothing special and actually quite pricey. It's also a pity that the restaurant has no Afghan atmosphere at all, no matching music, decor, etc. Unfortunately, it won't be repeated for me.

Visited this restaurant on a quiet Monday evening. It would be Afghan cuisine. Well, I had and have no idea what to suggest, but it was tasty. Especially the vegetarian Sabzi (spinach with coriander and Afghan herbs) and Banjan (eggplant, garlic, tomato with yoghurt and mint) positively surprised me. The Sabzi, delicious and soft, was my favorite. The rice (qaboli palaw) that the rewer recommended to us was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. One minus. The prices are on the high side.

Starter was tasty. But the food was terrible. I am familiar with Afghan cuisine and have been here before. But ate yesterday but it was not tasty. Rice tasted like perfume. Service was bad. Never again

Came all the way from Las Vegas to Rotterdam to experience Afghani food. To be honest, we got disappointed because what we saw on Instagram advertisement was all false. We saw really good food that looked fresh and delicious online however when we order the kebob was not fresh and well cooked. Tasted as if it was boiled first and left for few days in the fridge then somehow made kebobs of those meat. So we go old bolani. Wasn't fresh at all. Only for 4 people ended up paying over 100 euros for absolutely terrible old food. I don't recommend it at all. At least spend money on fresh delicious food not such as. I hope they see this and work on their service to making it better Thank you

Eten was prima en smaakvol, echter zou ik geen cocktails nemen. In een glas van 300ml zaten maar liefst 14 ijsblokjes, verhouding is zeer bagger en dus totaal je geld niet waard.

Super lekker eten elke keer weer! Lams en ossenhaas echt een aanrader! Heerlijke cocktails. Maar bovenal echt waanzinnige service en heel leuk personeel! 10+ kleine opbouwende tip het vanille ijs zou iets romiger mogen.

Heerlijk gegeten, snelle en vriendelijke service. We hadden een rijsttafel besteld, zeer ruime porties.

We hebben gekozen voor de luxe rijsttafel. We kregen netjes uitgelegd welk gerecht wat was. Het was erg lekker! Vervolgens kozen we de cheesecake en de lava cake. Goede en snelle service. Er hangt een leuke sfeer. Het was een fijne ervaring en we komen zeker weer terug.

The food was not bad, even though not the best I have tried in Afghani cuisine. Definitely, it was overpriced, considering the not good service: the waitress was almost rude to us and did not even apologise when serving chicken soup to a vegetarian customer (who said it clearly during the order) and dropped water on one of my friends. She did not seem in her first experience, and I mean, things can happen, that's not the point...but she did not even say sorry... I spent over 40€ for a tasteless soup, a quite delicious group of vegetarian dishes and a not-so-good dessert. I suggest to go somewhere else or at least to go for main dishes and don't linger on other parts of the menu.

We had a tasting menu for 6 people. Prices are really high, service was lousy and spilled wine on table, forgotten my coffee and water. Main waitress woman was looking at us with strange face, like we are not welcome as we are foreigners. Strange that it is Afghan restaurant. Food was good but for the price, I would chose many other restaurants.

Heerlijk gegeten, flinke porties, niet goedkoop. Het personeel was vriendelijk, maar niet heel kundig. Hadden een 4 cocktails besteld waarvan 3 gebracht werden. Na 3 keer (half uur later) om de 4e gevraagd te hebben aan onze ober, vroegen we het aan haar collega. Die kwam ons vertellen dat de ingrediënten op waren en de cocktail dus helemaal niet kwam. Bleek dat ze steeds maar zei dat hij eraan kwam, zonder het bij de bar na te vragen. Dit was een tegenvaller. Het eten daarentegen was heerlijk en de cocktails ook! Zeker een aanrader.. als je de over niet mee telt!

De ober was ontzettend aardig en vriendelijk. Hij gaf uitleg over Afghaanse gerechten. Het was voor eerste een onderdompeling in de Afghaanse keuken en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar . Hou rekening dat je meerdere kleine gerechten moet bestellen en dat sommige gerechten zo lekker zijn dat je er 2 of 3x van wilt bestellen

It was a coincidence that we discovered the restaurant. What a fantastic place to eat! Beautiful artwork and even better food. We decided to go for the full experience and had most of the items where you can choose 3 items. We took starters, main course and closed off with something sweet. The starter was delicious, perfect cooked and we gave our complimentary to the chef. The chef decided to give us something extra from the house to taste for free at main course. This is what I call, loving your customer en welcoming people to your restaurant. That food was delicious and perfect to taste. My compliments also to the waitresses! The welcome was so lovely and feeling home at the restaurant. They were very attentive and regularly came to ask how the food tasted and if we needed anything. reception and explanation of everything was also perfect. I was already looking for a restaurant to have dinner with the in-laws. So we will be coming back for sure, and have the same high expectations for the next time. ; )

Erg lekker gegeten! Wij kozen voor de rijsttafel special en dit was wat ons betreft een samenstelling van de lekkerste gerechten op de kaart! Wel wat veel voor 2 personen. Ook een leuke atmosfeer en aardige bediening.

Het eten is ontzettend lekker en van hoge kwaliteit. De gerechten zijn verassend goed, bvb de spinazie is lekkerder dan ik ooit op heb. Ga zo door.
