The waiter was very slow, he deliberately ignored us… the dishes were just okay, lacking flavor… When it came time to serve dessert, the waiter spilled chocolate on the table (which isn't a big deal, it happens) but he never came to clean it up…

A typical, decent hotel restaurant. The food was filling and delicious, and it was delivered quickly.

What a terribly cold, nasty, and desolate place. A hideously ugly, prison-like industrial estate with all the attendant unpleasantness. A decent restaurant would never even consider setting up shop here. Especially for (foreign) tourists, I feel a pang of embarrassment because this must be the ugliest part of our municipality.

Went for lunch with a few people, and the vacuuming continued unabated. Absolutely no atmosphere. The staff was disinterested; it took 10 minutes for someone to show up. Prices were very high for the location: €4.25 for mint tea, €3.75 for a cappuccino or a soft drink. No way, I'm never coming back.

I arrived at 8:45 PM for dinner, sat down and was ignored until 9:03 when the waittress timidly approached me to ask if i wanted anything and telling me that the kitchen is closed. Me: "when did it close?" Her: "9 PM" So they didn't want to hang around despite also having a few other clients and the official closing being 10 PM. A bad showing for such a place.

Large restaurant, but also quite empty and a bit chilly.

We had dinner, which was included in the hotel price, and were initially pleasantly surprised by the menu. However, when the food arrived, our enthusiasm quickly waned. The bread basket consisted of four small rolls, and the butter and aioli were served in cardboard bowls—not very appealing. The chicken was okay, but the sauces tasted like processed food, and the fries were practically dripping with grease. The burger, a "Beyond Meat" patty, also came with sauces and coleslaw that also seemed like they came from a mass-produced restaurant. Overall, the experience was disappointing and sad.

I had ribeye steak here last Saturday with a few vegetables, some fried potatoes, and Bearnaise sauce for 35 euros, and it definitely wasn't worth it. The steak was good medium, as far as I can remember, but it was tough and not tender at all. It had no flavor, and the sauce wasn't very flavorful either. It was the worst steak I've ever had. I've had steak at other restaurants before for a few euros less, and it was much better.

We recently went here with the whole family for high tea. We were served tomato soup as a starter. I think it was fresh and we enjoyed it. Then we were served savory snacks. Then came the sweet snacks. The savory snacks included sausage rolls, puff pastry snacks, and some kind of wrap or flatbread. The snacks were tasty, but we weren't particularly enthusiastic about them. Moreover, we felt like most of the snacks were pre-made from the supermarket, including the salads on the rolls. The sweet snacks, on the other hand, were a bit more enjoyable. We were surprised, however, that there weren't any small cupcakes or brownies. There were plenty of tea bags available, and coffee was also available. My table companions also drank coffee in between, but we concluded that switching between tea and coffee wasn't very practical, as there was always some coffee residue in your cup. There could have been a few more tea flavors. The cup was mostly filled with Earl Grey, English breakfast, and lemon. We therefore had to ask the waitress if we could get more rooibos tea, among other things. We did get some, but there could have been a bit more variety. All in all, we had a pleasant afternoon, but we wouldn't be returning – especially considering the original price.

Nice and clean restaurant with sufficient staff. Sufficient choice of special beer and the dinner menu looked good. I went for the satay dish and my group went for steak and a salad. Once we got the food it was poor value for money. Small quantities, too small for a main course (little meat and fries). Other than that it tasted good, but we left hungry.

After the visit I regretted not listening to the other bad reviews. The food really wasn't worth the price. For one thing, there was no dressing in my salad and the chicken consisted only of fat. You couldn't even finish the fries. This was by far the worst meal I've had in ages. Strangely, the salads are also charged €4 more expensive than on the menu. While paying, someone from the staff came out of the kitchen with headphones. But it still gets 2 stars because the service was pretty friendly.

The food was not worth the price. It looks good but carpaccio without a piece of bread and chef's choice as main dish: fish with stir-fried vegetables, some hollandaise sauce from a packet poured onto the skin and fries (22.5€) then we had to wait 30 minutes for our coffee and no it was not busy, there were barely 10 people. We regret our choice....

Despite a reservation, the table was not ready for eight people. Three people had to be consulted first to arrive at the bright solution of turning two tables of four and pushing them together. Then I waited a long time for the menu, which I had already opened online, also because the QR on the table gave me the impression that I had to order that way. After the starter we waited a long time to see if there would be another main course, and no new drink was taken in between. When you specifically ask whether there will be food and whether a drink can be ordered, you are first told that it is busy with a buffet... fine, I understand that the staff cannot do anything about that. The people who take the reservations and schedule the staff do... Ultimately, food and new drinks... They leave empty glasses and empty bottles quietly... It is also not cleared. I put it on the bar myself so I had room to eat. The food itself... when it wasn't Fletcher yet, it was definitely better... We certainly won't be back.

Bad service Waiting too long for the food

Very tasty meal! The service is very friendly and fast! Everything is served very nicely. It was also very quiet when we were there (Friday evening). Definitely worth it if you are staying at a hotel here and don't want to look far for food!

Very bad. Service walked past us 5 times, looked at us and just left the empty plates. Unfriendly and bad service. Food was also not tasty and cold.

Food is delicious. Portions are completely sufficient. But only 4 stars because the guest is unfortunately forgotten from time to time during operation. I ordered a coke 3 times before I got it. Friendliness is still there...

It is literally 'dare to share', it is actually just not enough to share. And something extra that is not on the menu is not possible. Too bad, it seemed like a nice concept.

Kudos to the super friendly, cheerful ladies in the service. Share dinner is highly recommended. Beautiful...Cosy...good!

Food and service are ok. Interior and style/atmosphere not so much.

The food was superb. The only downside was that each menu had to be shared between two people. Now I was with my wife and the problem was less, but if I had been with a colleague I would have enjoyed it less. There were no serving spoons, so everything had to be served with the fork used to eat. There were no plates for dessert, but we had to eat from the plate together. After we asked for a sign, we got one. There was also no knife to share the piece of tiramisu, but we had to do this with the desert spoon that we also ate with. This certainly needs to be improved because not everyone likes to eat from a plate with someone else. Once again there was nothing to complain about the food, it was delicious.

Endless waiting..... Average wait of 30 minutes between each dish. Something about the receipt system... At least the carrier pigeons don't fly the receipts to the kitchen. Quality varies per dish. The tagitalle with salmon and the cod were of poor quality, overcooked. Actually not nice. Other dishes are quite basic and simple, not bad, but not special either. The other reviews already indicate that the endless wait is no exception... unfortunately. We won't be coming back here again.

Understaffed, despite booking our party well in advance.

Had dinner tonight, but it was also the last time. Our 2.5 year old son was charged 6.95 for bitterballen and 5.50 for fries! The price of the fries is not stated anywhere because; "we don't have children's menus". This means they can pay whatever they want. They don't have a wine list either. it's either a glass or a bottle... prices? These are not listed anywhere... and are even kept somewhat 'secretive' about them. I called in the afternoon and asked to what extent the restaurant was child-friendly, to which I received the answer that they absolutely took children into account. Of course for these prices!! However, changing your toddler has to be done on the sink... The food is fine, but nothing special. all in all...never again! We ended up there because of a gift card that cannot be issued anywhere in the area. We come from the catering industry ourselves, but we sincerely say: these people still have a lot to learn!! Good luck!!

We had made a reservation with a group of 15 people, we received the food very spread out, sometimes almost 10 minutes apart, which is a shame, the service was not good.

We took advantage of the “all you can eat” offer! There you can order all starters, main courses and desserts until you are full! They are smaller portions, everything is freshly made and very attractively presented! This means you can really try everything at least once! Really delicious! It costs €30! But it's worth it too! I was so full! A very cozy evening!

Looking forward to a pleasant evening with delicious food at Medals. Unfortunately, this was not to be. The service was more concerned with epibration instead of providing us with food. After 2 hours I only had 3 dishes. Waiting for 45 minutes per corridor is apparently very normal here. Just like having to ask several times about drinks. Printing receipts in the kitchen is also very difficult. Somehow this turns out to go wrong every time. Despite the poor service from the blonde lady, the food was delicious and we still had a pleasant evening with the family, but this is certainly not due to Medals. Who actually came up with this name? The restaurant is far from earning a Medal....

Good food, affordable and friendly staff

Nothing special, very unpleasant

I have experienced a lot in the restaurant industry, but this was definitely one of the low points. We were a group of 4 people. The concept of the restaurant can be very nice. Lots of small snacks to taste as much as possible, at least that's what our absolutely nice waitress told us. Unfortunately, this concept does not work if you have to wait 45 minutes per dish and you are only allowed to order 1 dish at a time. After an hour and a half I had 3 cubic centimeters of salmon and a few sheets of carpaccio in my stomach. Unfortunately, the receipt for the main course was lost so we had to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes for it. So nothing came of many tests, all in all a sad and hungry evening in which I felt second-hand embarrassment towards my guests. After a 3.5 hour sit, I went home hungry. How difficult can it be to prepare and serve snacks in the form of an amuse in advance? That doesn't have to take 45 minutes per dish, does it? Come on. I even suspect that this is the policy behind the scenes, serving as little as possible is extra income, because the kitchen closes at 9:30 PM. We really felt tricked.

The concept and the food are definitely good! They just have to watch out for the crowds. The first time, on a weekday, everything went smoothly and well. However, the second time, during the weekend, it was so busy (also due to guests who did not make a reservation) that the service could not keep up with the orders. The result is a long wait, some dishes that are lukewarm and dishes that have run out and can no longer be ordered. Tip: do not reserve later than 7:00 PM on weekends (the kitchen closes at 10:00 PM)! Still, kudos to the service and the kitchen who have to work really hard.

We had a delicious meal. Tasty starters. Ordered fries with the main course, which were perfectly cooked, and also had risotto. The dessert (tarte tartin) was very tasty We received a jug of water with the bottle of wine we ordered, delicious with ice cubes and completely free. All in all a 9 for the price and quality An eight for the service An eight for the entourage The only downside was the tiny bottle of water that we initially received when we asked for water and for which we paid € 2.20!!!! (one euro per sip)

Food is fine! However, ordering takes a very long time. 2 hours and 15 minutes to order 2 starters and 2 main courses is very slow. When we wanted to order at 9.50, the kitchen was closed and only on insistence was a dish served. One person was counted too many on the bill, but this was of course corrected after saying this. Once outside, another surprise awaits: 3.50 parking fee! Now it may be the case that you have to ask for this back when you pay, but this could at least be pointed out by the staff. All in all Good food but the finishing and service still needs work. We'll definitely take another look in a while....

Excellent price quality! Not normal what you get for €24. Enjoy a delicious meal from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Tried many different things, always with a matching wine. In addition, the atmosphere and service were also great! So worth repeating :)
