Sushi Vandaag Sittard in Wijk 01 Sittard

We went there for dinner on Sunday, December 7, 2025. The sushi was bland and there wasn't much variety. Along with my other two guests, we found the quality, especially the sushi, very poor compared to other similar restaurants!

Great sushi place. Went there for hot dishes. The one in Heerlen is better.

Never been in restaurant “All you can eat” and didn’t know a concept, but a member of staff explained everything to us. Food was good, and huge sweet buffet was included in the price too!

In terms of ambiance, the business in Sittard is slightly inferior to the business in Heerlen, but the food and service from the friendly and professional staff are at least as good. The menu is extensive and has never been disappointing on every visit so far. Recently used a too good to go box and it was also neatly filled and good value for money. Sushi today is highly recommended and has something for everyone, even if you don't like standard sushi.

I picked up my own food, but it looked like a great atmosphere, delicious food, and a free beer while I waited. Excellent service.

The food was unfortunately quite tasteless, or I'm just very spoiled by other places that serve sushi.

I went there a few times. Most of the times it's great, but last time we ordered two rounds of the same food. One early in the evening with was very tasty. Then we ordered the same dish like an hour later and the meat was very though and it wast very good. So overall it's a great place with good food. But since its more of a quantity over quality place there might be some disappointing dishes every now and then.

Great food, questionable music ;)

Last Friday, a warm summer day, we dined on the terrace. Fortunately, the music was quickly turned down, which enhanced the atmosphere. The welcome was very warm, the service and ordering were very quick. The quality of the fish is excellent; you can taste its freshness. We were also asked if everything was to our liking. They very patiently explained how to operate the iPad to the guests at the table next to us. This restaurant is highly recommended for the above description.

After a long time, I finally tried to eat here again. The service was excellent, and the outdoor atmosphere was great. The food, however, was truly mediocre. The side dishes were quite good, but the sushi, which should have been called good, was truly subpar. The rice was cooked far too long or with too much water, was really sticky and inedible. Half the menu seems to be gone, with far too little choice. You now have to pay for the "better" sushi, so it should just be a la carte and improve the quality of the sushi. I won't be back.

The food was delicious. We didn't have reservations, just two people, but we still got a nice table. The sushi was fresh and delicious. We ate a lot of sushi that's not available in our village. In short... fantastic!

Delicious food. We sat on the terrace with the dogs. The staff was friendly and even put down a bowl of water. There were a lot of flies on the terrace, which makes eating outside less pleasant. Fortunately, they have fly repellents that can be placed on the table. In general, the dishes were mostly the same as at another branch of Sushi Vandaag that we visited before, but I think there is a small difference. In any case, everything tasted good to us and we didn't have to wait long before the dishes were served. Ordering was easy via a tablet. At the other branch we visited, this was done via your own phone. The choice for dessert was largely the same. They only had an extra flavor of ice cream here, which I also tried; green tea. The ice cream was a bit soft, but otherwise quite okay. All in all, definitely worth repeating.

Food ordered sushi was not edible last time yes. Too bad I had to throw away food for 30 euros.

Would have been ok if it was cheaper. Food isn't great but it's edible, just way too expensive for what you get (over 70 euros for 2 people). Staff was friendly though.

Nothing special; there is nothing for which you would come to this shop. Menu is not very extensive, just standard.

De sushi en overige etenswaren zijn heerlijk, maar vandaag is bezorging en service aan de telefoon zwaar teleurstellend. 150!! Minuten moeten wachten. 2x gebeld voor een statusvraag en bij de 2de keer werd ik opgegooid. Alle begrip als er een situatie ontstaat waardoor verwachtingen niet meer haalbaar zijn, maar bel de klant even wat men wilt. En bied evt een korting voor de volgende keer.

The staff is polite. But I think the food is not worth the price. The nori was tough, it was impossible to chew. The floor on the terrace is dirty. The handrails to the toilet are sticky.

What an excellent experience eating at this Sushi today. Delicious food in a neat and tidy place with top notch service. Ate kangaroo for the first time in my life. 🫣 Good price for the amount and quality you get to eat here.

The food was good and I walked out feeling full. I didn't think it was very special and the choice on the menu was a bit more limited compared to similar restaurants. Great for your sushi fix, but not exceptional enough for me to come back here regularly.

Experience it yourself. I feel comfortable there and good service.

Delicious food and friendly staff

We ordered food as a gift for our brother and his wife, who live abroad. The package was beautifully presented and arrived super quickly. While we can’t comment on the taste since we didn’t try it ourselves, it’s their favourite sushi spot — which speaks for itself. :-) Greetings from the Czech Republic!

We regularly pick up from Sushi today. It is really delicious sushi! Also went for dinner a few times, atmosphere was good and so was the food!

Great, family friendly spot for decent all you can eat sushi, with a clean welcoming atmosphere and polite, efficient staff. Service is very quick with lots to choose from, and only some premium rolls and sashimi being an extra charge. The dessert buffet had lots of choices, including make your own Crème Brûlée.

Food was really delicious! Never been here in Sittard before so I had to look carefully to see where the food is tasty, but this was really great! The EBI TEMPURA was especially delicious! The sauce on it really made it complete and different from other restaurants. So great!

Orders are very easy thanks to the tablets, even if we don't speak Dutch very well. All the food is very good, the service is very fast and the staff is friendly.

Every all-you-can-eat dish is always delicious. The staff is friendly and the food comes to the table super quickly. The only downside is that you sit quite close to other tables, but it's not dramatic.

Very nice all you can eat restaurant. Food always arrived very quickly and everything tasted very good. The only point of improvement for me would be the language of the tablets. Besides Dutch, English or German would be very helpful when ordering.

We had a very delicious meal in this beautiful and neat restaurant. The service was very fast and the staff was very friendly. The food was very tasty and fresh. Definitely worth repeating!

Great restaurant, delicious food.

All delicious freshly made, great! Staff very friendly and food was delivered quickly. Only the squid rings were inedible, not fresh, looked like rubber. We sat on the terrace, outside on the veranda. Disadvantage, the smokers outside on the terrace. But people from inside also came to smoke on the veranda, slightly less for non-smokers. Maybe make an area outside for non-smokers too.

With a colleague on a business trip, very slow and poorly treated when asking for a table, customers who came after us were treated first, not friendly, and eventually sent away with the comment, we have no more tables. Never again ! Then go eat across the street, where it is super friendly and delicious food!

Things have changed. Sushi is messy/sloppy and portions decreased in size. Sashimi from 4 to 3 pieces at €6 is an insult. Every time we order something is missing. Enough is enough! After 4 years being a regular customer I am saying no more mediocre sushi deliveries at top dollar. Edit (August 2024) SashimI still 3 pieces.. and another euro more expensive. This is a joke!!!

Super tasty sushi. Fast service and actually the tastiest in the region.

Met colega op bussiness trip, Erg traag en slecht behandeld bij het vragen voor een tafel, klanten die na ons kwamen werden eerst behandeld, niet vriendelijk, en uit eindelijk wegestuurd met de opmerking, we hebben geen tafels meer. Nooit meer ! Dan maar gaan eten aan de overkant , daar wel super vriendelijk en lekker eten !

My partner thinks this is the tastiest sushi place! The sushis are very well filled and the sauces for the grill dishes are different and delicious every time! As a vegetarian the food here is also super tasty, as a vegan the range is limited, the food is fine but not a lot of choice and the standard range. Dessert buffet is a plus, especially with children! Beautiful tent with friendly staff, also a very nice terrace on the market in Sittard.

Lousy service and bizarre delivery times! Ordered via home delivery and paid immediately, food would be delivered within 1 hour. However, after 1 hour and 40 minutes we called and were told it would take another 20 minutes. Called again after 2 hours and 40 minutes and was told that the delivery person is on his way. Called again after 2 hours and 55 minutes, the food was still not there!! Indicated that it does not have to come anymore and we want the money back. Having said that, the delivery person is suddenly supposedly around the corner. Spent several minutes on the phone and still nothing. We fully understand if it is busy and delivery takes longer, but please be honest and open with customers and not like this. WORTHLESS!!

A lot of sushi is no longer available. Food as salty as everything is or super spicy or super salty. So you drink more. Finished 2 rounds each and then we received a bill for 90 euros, well, thank you

The food was excellent, tasted fresh and good, and it was on the table quickly every time. Everything was neatly taken care of. Staff have to run, which made the atmosphere a little less. But definitely worth repeating :-)

disturbed! I went out for dinner with my wife and we ordered relatively little. Some of the food took ages to arrive! and in the end we were only charged £33 per person for all you can eat and only after speaking to a member of staff were we informed of the outrageous prices. 4 euros for three mini sushi rolls! 8 euros for a mini (not even a bite) cutlet! That's disgusting! We will never consider this store again.

We were not received very friendly and were given a table without any proper communication. In the end it took half an hour before we received the tablet with which we could order. There was also a door open behind us that allowed a cold draft to enter. There was no response to this when we reported this. This did not make the atmosphere very pleasant. The food was really great!, but the customer service was lacking that evening. Would I go back? Yes, in a while I want to give them another chance :)

Ordered delicious Sushi from Sushi Today in Sittard. Ordering via the website is super easy. The order was ready at the time we indicated. We enjoyed this so much!

All you can eat sushi was tasty with lots of choice. The downside is that the sushi consists of a large proportion of rice compared to regular sushi.

It's a shame that my favorite sushi (cheese roll) has been discontinued. This was indicated to staff. Employee said that 15 sushi/dishes had been removed. And that in combination with a price increase. Very unfortunate because I always came specifically for the cheese roll. Fortunately, I found another sushi restaurant that still serves this. Too bad because this restaurant was my favorite.

Had dinner here for our daughter's birthday. We were again very satisfied with the service and atmosphere. However, the sushi rice and seaweed seemed a bit drier than normal. Afterwards, the four of us agreed on this, which was a shame.

The food is tasty and the service fast and friendly. What I think is a shame is that there is no intermediate aisle with all you can eat. Now you have a choice and that is 5 rounds of 5 dishes for 33 euros. Way too much I would like to see that you can also opt for 2 or 3 rounds at a lower price. And it's a pity that I think a lot of salt and vitamins are used because it makes me very thirsty

It's not bad here, but I don't think it's great either. The advantage of the concept is (remains) that you can eat at your leisure and enjoy your company. The quality of the dishes is mediocre. Atmosphere is mediocre. This may also be because we were placed at a table where people constantly walked past to go to the dessert buffet and employees brought dishes to other guests. Temperature was not good (cold draft), but was resolved by adjusting the air conditioning/heating differently. Conclusion: visit with a larger group or with children. Do not visit if you want to eat quietly in a cozy atmosphere.

We thought everything was TOO saucey! Sushi with a dip was more like a big lump of sauce. Has nothing to do with sushi anymore. One only tastes sauce! Shame. Would rather have become a regular customer here.

Telefonisch besteld, thuisgekomen bleek de bestelling niet compleet. Ik heb toen meteen gebeld en ben er weer na toe gereden om het op te halen wat men vergeten was mee te geven. Iedereen was zeer vriendelijk, ik kreeg van diverse mensen excuses en ik kreeg extra sausjes en nog extra sushi. Top afgehandeld. Het terras zat vol. Binnen is het gezellig. De Sushi is goed, daar geef ik een 4 voor, en een 5 voor de service.

Ordered by telephone, when I got home the order turned out to be incomplete. I immediately called and drove back to pick up what they had forgotten to give. Everyone was very friendly, I received apologies from several people and I received extra sauces and extra sushi. Top done. The terrace was full. It's cozy inside. The Sushi is good, I give it a 4, and a 5 for the service.

All the servers were very helpful and one in particular spoke English who was easily explained how we can order a la carte or simply from the all you can eat. The sushi rolls we choose were very tasty. We enjoyed our overall experience.

It was placed in a spot between the patio items, without a lamp above the table, everything was difficult to read and see, box with radio 10 on above my head, no atmospheric music, and we thought the sushi was very bad, they were kneadable balls. We read previous reviews, but I don't know where we ate. Must say that the service was good.

The controls are messy. You order via an app, when serving you do not receive the information about what they serve. The dishes are tasty and the terrace is clean.

The Asian dinner was not bad. The restaurant is located in the center where there is no parking nearby. After eating we are alive and well. Service was fast. The sushi could have been a little colder.

Very tasty food... this sushi restaurant can really be distinguished from others because you can really taste that it is freshly made and only to your order (via tablet). Your order regularly comes one by one... but this doesn't bother you because you can already start with your first dishes being brought...
