Had an incredibly delicious meal. Without a doubt the best Turkish restaurant in Nijmegen. Recommended: the shrimp stew, baklava with pistachios, and the Beylerbeyi raki!

We had a delicious meal! The atmosphere inside was cozy and quiet. This was our first time eating Turkish food and we were really pleasantly surprised. Everything tasted delicious and it is definitely worth repeating. Highly recommended! 10/10

By far the best restaurant I've visited during my business trip to Nijmegen! The mezes are absolutely wonderful. I ordered the mixed grill for my main course, and all the meats were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Everything was incredibly juicy inside—I loved it. On top of that, the owners and staff were so welcoming and attentive. An absolute must-visit

Due to the heat, we didn't sit inside yesterday. The four of us had a sharing platter as a starter; it was delicious. Afterwards, the main course was vegan and meat. Also very good. The flavors of the food were super delicious... Fans were even placed towards the tables outside to provide cooling 👍 Good service. A restaurant to come back to.

We had a delicious meal. We were able to customize our order to our liking, allowing us to try many different dishes. The Turkish tea was so tasty that I asked if it was also available in Turkish supermarkets. The owner came over with the packaging and I was able to take a picture of it. We had dinner at Mira in Nijmegen tonight. Delicious and authentic Turkish food, but above all, the hospitality made it special. The owner came over himself for a friendly chat, not just about the dishes but simply taking the time to genuinely pay attention to us as guests. With the dips, we were spontaneously given extra fresh bread without even asking for it. Sincere attention, no show atmosphere. Highly recommended for a warm, personal evening out in Nijmegen.

Went to eat here before a concert at De Vereeniging, surprise!! Tasty food, not too complex, delicious grilled typical Mediterranean dishes. The first impression upon entering was immediately good, quite a few tables occupied and a beautiful place. Extremely friendly service and a great price level. The space is tastefully arranged with different sections separated by curtains, creating an intimate atmosphere. Host Sultan served us incredibly well: friendly, attentive, and professional. We chose the Grill Special, which didn't take too long to arrive. The dish came in a beautiful copper warming system with candles underneath, which was not only practical but also added a truly special touch to the experience. The explanation of the food was clear and given with passion. In addition, we enjoyed the Turkish wine Yakut Öküzgözü, which was a big hit with my girlfriend. The Künefe with ice cream also deserves a mention. All in all, a great evening and definitely worth repeating!”

First of all, the bonfile was delicious! However, we found the Adana meat, fries, and bulgur very salty. If you like a lot of salt, this restaurant is definitely recommended. The atmosphere was pleasant, quiet, though a bit chilly, so we quickly grabbed a bite and didn't stay. The price-quality ratio was a bit on the pricey side, for two appetizers and a main course. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

What a nice Turkish restaurant in Nijmegen! Generally in Europe people think that Turkish cuisine consist of only dürüm kebap and lahmacun but this restaurant shows that it is more than that 😇 restaurant itself was really cozy and elegant and the dishes were very delicious. Especially in drink menu they also have nice Turkish beer and wine options. And Erdoğan bey very kindly played a guitar for us and it was very nice moment like feeling at home 😊 I will go there again with my friends for sure 🥳

Had a wonderful dining experience at Restaurant Mira and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Turkish cuisine here. I ordered the Pirzola (lamb chops), Karides Güveç, and finished with Künefe — and every dish was spot on. The lamb chops were tender, juicy, and perfectly grilled with just the right amount of spice and smoky flavour. The Karides Güveç was rich and comforting — prawns cooked in a hearty tomato and bell pepper base with melted cheese, served bubbling hot and full of flavour. The highlight was the Künefe — crispy kataifi wrapped around creamy cheese, soaked in sugar syrup, topped with pistachio and served with ice cream. Easily one of the best desserts to end the meal on. Great food, generous portions, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended if you’re in Nijmegen and craving authentic Turkish food. Would happily return!

Wonderfully atmospheric and chic restaurant. The meat was delicious, but I do have one complaint: There were two of us and we ordered the Mixed Grill Special. A meat platter for two people. The platter contained two different types of meat, which is exactly what you'd expect from a platter for two. However, there was only one Turkish pepper on the platter. A bit odd, considering the platter is meant for two. So, halfway through, my wife asked for an extra Turkish pepper. A little while later, the waiter brought a plate with five Turkish peppers on it! We were almost finished, so what were we supposed to do with five peppers?! We then had to pay €5.00 for that plate of peppers. My advice: just put two peppers on a platter of meat meant for two people...

Last night was my third time there. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food. The owner is happy to stop by for a chat, and if you're lucky, he might even play a bit of guitar for you! If you're coming for the first time, I recommend the sharing menus. You get a little bit of everything, and everything is delicious! Warning: it's a lot of food. PS: The baklava is so good.

Food was way too overpriced. Even had to pay (6€) extra for some super market wraps. After spending €50 and still being hungry this was our first and last time.

I have nothing to say about the delicious food, but I expected larger portions for these prices. They were definitely not enough to fill one person.
