He was incredibly polite in front of the Dutch people. I don't want to be unfair, but because of his rude behavior, I don't plan to go again.

We had a truly delicious meal here with the family and a very pleasant evening, thanks in part to the friendly and competent staff. The dishes tasted superb, and the portions were so large that even the big eaters in our family struggled to finish. An extra bonus was that they really took into account our request for a well-lit seating area due to a visually impaired person in our family; this was well accommodated, and they even asked if the light was sufficient. This was a real bonus point. So don't hesitate and go eat here; I can tell you, you really won't be disappointed.

We ended up here via Social Deal. There is a wide selection of options, and we received tips and explanations from an enthusiastic staff member regarding our choices on the menu. The portions are truly very generous. The service is quick, but you won't be spending a full evening dining here. With a 3-course menu, you'll be out the door again after about 1.5 hours. The only thing is that the bright lights above the small two-person tables along the wall, which literally hung over my head like a hair dryer, really need to be addressed to make it a bit more intimate. But otherwise, this restaurant more than exceeded our expectations!

Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience for the second time. Today, I placed an order online and indicated that I wanted to pick it up at 2:00 PM. When I arrived, an employee told me that I could only come back at 3:00 PM because no one was present at that time. Additionally, the employee barely spoke Dutch, which made communication difficult. I indicated that I wanted to cancel my order, but I was told that the manager was not present and that I had to come back at 3:00 PM anyway to get my money back. Because this was impractical, I ultimately decided to go ahead with the order anyway and pick it up at 3:00 PM. When I returned at 3:00 PM, they hadn't even started preparing my order yet, and I had to wait another 30 minutes. In the end, it turned out the meat was undercooked, and the sauce I had ordered was missing.

Having given it another chance here, it was dramatically bad again. Had a mixed grill where all the meat was cooked for too long, making it very dry and tasteless; the meat wasn't fresh either, you can just taste and smell that. Tip!!! Make sure you have a good cook who actually knows how to grill.

Narrow, long, nice upholstered restaurant. The service was very poor; drinks arrived last, even after asking for them several times. The food came mixed together: appetizers, desserts, or side dishes; we couldn't make out any of it! Three people went to eat; for one person, the meat wasn't even lukewarm but practically cold. The side dish consisted of two bowls of rice and couscous mixed together and cold! The waiter blamed the head chef, and another waiter, who presented himself as the chef, complained about the waiter being preoccupied with other things (supposedly in love, he told us). It might be a neighborhood restaurant with regular customers! It used to be a cafeteria (a restaurant for the last 5 years), according to what the waiter told us!

I'm really disappointed. It wasn't what we expected. The service was practically non-existent. It was the first time, I don't think it will be a second time 🤷🤷

We discovered this hidden gem in Nijmegen via Social Deal; and what an experience! Upon entering, we were immediately warmly welcomed by several staff members, which instantly created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Once seated at the table, the service only got better: the staff took ample time to explain the menu and introduce us to Turkish cuisine. What we found particularly impressive is that they deliberately removed non-Turkish dishes from the menu. As a result, everything truly revolves around an authentic Turkish dining experience; and you notice that in every detail. When we were still unsure about our choice, someone spontaneously came by to offer advice. Thanks to his tips, we selected top-notch Turkish dishes, and they certainly did not disappoint. Both the quality and the portions were excellent. Although we actually didn't have room left for dessert, a nice solution was immediately offered: we were allowed to simply take the dessert home with us. Naturally, we couldn't refuse that offer! After a delicious cup of tea, we left the restaurant with tasty pieces of baklava for later; a perfect ending. In short: highly recommended for anyone in (or near) Nijmegen looking for an authentic and hospitable dining experience.

We arrived literally one minute before closing time. Of course, we understood that the restaurant was actually already closed and the kitchen had been closed for a long time. Nevertheless, we cautiously asked if we could perhaps grab a small bite to eat. To our surprise and great appreciation, the owner decided to reopen the kitchen just for us. He prepared a small snack for us and even gave it to us free of charge. That, to us, is true hospitality and exceptional customer service. You don't often encounter such dedication and friendliness. Definitely a place we'd love to return to and highly recommend!

My experience at this restaurant was truly disappointing. First of all, the service was very slow. It took almost 45 minutes for the food to arrive after ordering, and the waiters were completely uninterested. When we asked about it, they responded with a rather rude attitude. The quality of the food was also not what I expected. The meat was dry and tasteless, as if it wasn't fresh. Also, the portions were very small for the price. It's really upsetting to pay such a high price and expect such low quality. The interior of the restaurant didn't look very clean either. The tables hadn't been properly wiped, and there was a general feeling that hygiene wasn't being taken seriously. Frankly, I don't plan to return to this restaurant and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I hope the establishment takes these criticisms into account and significantly improves both the service and the quality of the food.

What a fantastic restaurant and what delicious food! The staff is also fantastic and super friendly. We spent over two and a half hours there, which was perfectly fine. That's how dining out becomes a night out. Definitely recommended, but make a reservation because it was full. We'll definitely go back.

Unfortunately, it was the worst pide (Turkish flatbread) I've ever eaten. Not only did it contain spices that shouldn't be in a pide, but it was also spicy. When they asked if I liked it, I said so. The response I received was: "The chef prepares the filling a day in advance. Sometimes it's spicy, sometimes salty, there's nothing we can do." Actually, there's a very easy solution: taste it. This is a very careless attitude, showing a complete lack of respect for the customer. You can't just serve a product with a dismissive "What can we do today?" attitude.

Had a really bad experience here. I was with a group of friends, and two guys working there were constantly flirting with us. It was very uncomfortable for us. The chicken doner was dry and tough. Not a nice place for women.

I have been visiting this restaurant for many years, the service is always excellent, fast and all the staff are smiling and serve the customers quickly, I have tried many types of dishes in the restaurant from mixed barbecue and iskender kebab (people have different tastes, I didn't like the taste), burgers and long Turkish meat pie, the taste is delicious, they serve Turkish vegetarian appetizers with Turkish bread alongside the meals in addition to salad and French fries, the meat and vegetables meal in a pot is considered one of the special meals, there are desserts, Kunafa is a good choice, the prices are a little high but similar to any other Turkish restaurant, the seating area inside the restaurant is very nice with dim lighting and beautiful Turkish music, I repeat my visit once a month. I really like the program during the month of Ramadan. It is one of the best restaurants in Nijmegen and it maintains the same level. Good luck always and of course the meat is halal.

You need to teach your waiters what proper manners are. Someone around 40 years old attended our table today, but he clearly doesn't know how to speak or be polite. Only the main course was delicious, but I definitely recommend you don't go. The tea was stale, and the rice pudding was made with cream. A very, very bad experience. I don't recommend it. If I could give zero stars, I definitely would.

After a long time, I'm finally posting this review. The atmosphere is good, it looks nice and warm and chic. But you really shouldn't go there during Ramadan. They don't know what they're doing anymore. It takes ages for someone to come to you. It's best if you call them over to take your order. After ordering, we waited 40 minutes, which is normal. But we didn't get soup beforehand. I thought it would come right away, but after a total wait of 50 minutes, I went to ask what was going on. The order hadn't even been placed. We also had a child with us who was getting hungry and restless. Soup for the child arrived. In total, after 85 minutes, we were able to eat. The food was rather lukewarm and hastily made. It was really awful. I complained at the cash register and, as a compensation, didn't have to pay for the drinks. I said, "That's not the point, do something about your service." They said they'd pay for everything, but afterward, I saw on the receipt that drinks hadn't been included. They can also be very quick with food, but it has to be a bit quieter and not during Ramadan. But even then, the food isn't at its best.

I went there for a date night with my wife. The restaurant has a very nice ambience and the service was attentive. The food was delicious with generous portions and great presentation. The best Turkish food I had in a long time. The staff really made sure that we have a good time( also they were very flexible about last minute change in schedule). Definitely recommend this place for a nice experience. You must try their Guvec (I chose vegetarian one) and their Kunefe was mouth watering. Went to eat at Serif Baba today. I had a burnt chicken skewer. I asked the waitress what she thought of it, and she didn't know. I said, "Don't you ever eat chicken?" and she said, "No." I said, "Don't you eat meat either?" She couldn't tell me. I was staring at her as if water could burn. It's a shame there's a waitress who can't comment on the food. I wonder if she eats charcoal herself. Never again.

Heard a lot about it, but still curious, so we ordered takeout. I'd looked at the menu online. We didn't want a chicken doner anymore, but we wanted a hamburger, which we didn't have anymore. Well, we ordered something else anyway. We wanted to wait outside at a table, but the unfriendly woman behind the counter said it wasn't possible. They had a reservation (which was very important to her). After a 40-minute wait, two guests who apparently come frequently were already enjoying their meal, even though they arrived later. When we asked where our food was, I was told they were starting it now. The woman behind the counter said that was the preparation time. No, definitely not a second attempt.
