A wonderfully well-prepared and surprisingly delicious meal. A warm welcome from a team of hospitable ladies. A lovely, compact table with details everywhere you look. A touch of Eastern, warm but not kitschy, the interior has a good atmosphere. The open kitchen, where the chef 👩🏻‍🍳 surprises you with dishes made with the freshest ingredients, contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. Delicately spiced flavors, beautifully balanced and festively presented on elegant plates. Every dish is a surprise, served with friendly service and proper explanations to a respectful crowd. If you are looking for a restaurant where you can enjoy good food in relative peace, go here! Had a 6-course menu which, in terms of price-quality ratio, is far above many 'star restaurants' in the area and where, as a decent eater, you still leave with a full stomach. Just don't expect frills or huge plates, but this restaurant doesn't need that either. Just pure flavors and well-assorted dishes combined with friendly staff and an open kitchen where you can see how the chef(s) prepare the food. However, a small point of attention was the service. Very friendly staff, but perhaps ask more often if you would like any drinks (or a bottle of water on the table). Nevertheless, highly recommended if you are in Almelo.

The food was great, the portions were just right, not too big not too small. After the 4 course meal, there was just enough room for desert. Most dishes were Turkish, some not but they were all delicious. The personnel is very friendly, and accommodating. It takes some time in between dishes, but it's nice (and the norm) to sit here quite a few hours. I will definitely come back soon.

The food was delicious, that's for sure. We opted for a 5-course menu with 6 people. All courses were very tasty but some were not very hot. In addition, it was not very much for 6 people. For the main course, there was quite enough of 2 of the 3 main courses, but for example there were only 2 of the lamb shanks for 6 people. We didn't think much of that. The price compared to the amount of food you get is quite high.

All four of us thought the food and the restaurant were great!!! There was only a small but... We were given 6 of some dishes on a plate to divide, which was a bit difficult. 4 larger portions or 8 smaller portions makes a little more sense.

Upon entering I was pleasantly surprised. Quiet layout, not overcrowded. Kindly received. We had 4 courses and converted them into 5. A neat open kitchen, the staff looked great. All dishes looked beautiful. Bread board in advance. Actually great in terms of all that. To give some tips, serve on warm plates so that the food stays warm (except for the ice cream of course ;). It just cools down quickly. The 4 people next to us were very noisy and quickly had too much, which was a shame. (there were two of us) The restaurant cannot do anything about that, of course, which is why I give it 5 stars. Definitely worth repeating and I definitely recommend it.

Had a fantastic dining experience, delicious 5 course menu, and excellent house wine. After a previous experience 2 years ago that was slightly less than before with the old owner, it has now even gotten better. Surprising dishes, very tastefully seasoned, super quality meat and in an attractive atmosphere. The whole table was very impressed... I'll be going here again soon...

Special experience. This address was recommended to us by the very friendly owner of the vintage clothing store Roode Molen. It turned out to be good advice later. We had an exceptionally delicious meal here. We sat on the small terrace overlooking the street. The staff came by regularly to ask if everything was okay. The concept is very special. You can eat in 4.5 or 6 courses. You eat what's available. We chose 5, but that is very spacious. With the main course you notice that you are full. No problem, because you will receive everything that is left neatly in boxes. The advantage of this concept is the prevention of waste. Actually a nice thought. The food itself was very special. Delicious bread with spreads, a delicious soup, then all kinds of small snacks and lamb stew from the oven as a main course. You are asked in advance about preferences, allergies, etc. So you don't get things you don't like or don't like. The three ladies who worked there were very involved and a lot was said about the dishes, names and ingredients. The dishes were served tastefully and creatively, you notice that people enjoy working in the catering industry. 5 stars are actually a bit too few. A very special address and beautiful experience. Guide Michelin is said to have said: 'Worth a detour'.

Saturday evening, 6 course surprise menu. Very tasty, not standard food. Four tasty starters, tenderloin was very tender and wonderfully seasoned. Excellent dessert. A good explanation for each dish and a personal greeting and service. A warm, cozy restaurant where you had enough privacy.

Fijne plek, ook voor groter gezelschap. Hartelijke ontvangst. Het eten en alles was erna kwam was niet smakelijk. Het was allemaal te zout, alle gangen. Er zat veel tijd tussen de gangen. Het duurde te lang, wat de avond geen goed deed. Wees helder over wat er komt en wanneer, dat maakt het voor de gasten prettig. Minder zout gebruiken bij de gerechten is ons aller advies, groep van 7 mensen. En wat meer licht in het toilet.

What a beautiful hidden gem in the city center of Almelo. Delicious food, you can taste the freshness of the products. And each and every one of the dishes were small taste sensations. Enjoyed a 6 course dinner tonight with a group of 8 people. In one word great!!!! Delicious food. Lots of variety and the tenderloin was my favorite. Good and pleasant service. The furnishings are very beautiful and contemporary. Highly recommended for anyone who likes good food and fun.

Ate again for the first time after the renovation. The food is fresh and honest, by that I mean, no culinary fuss with sauces or mousses of any kind, but just good and fresh food. Took four courses because we are not big eaters. It's a shame because I was quite curious about the other two courses 😂. Let's try it next time😉 Staff as usual very nice and enthusiastic. A quick chat is always part of it. I suffered from overstimulation myself and we were quite close to other people, but that wasn't too bad either. So acoustics are fine. Music wasn't too loud. Mira! What a top restaurant in Almelo. We've been walking past it every day for a year and yesterday we were surprised by Veronique and her team. What a recommendation! Live cooking with delicious dishes, good explanation, everything coordinated, wonderfully quiet atmosphere and definitely worth repeating. Also recommended for groups.

We had a fantastic meal! Eating Á la carte is not possible, but the 4.5 or 6-course surprise menu, which is prepared with great enthusiasm, is fantastic. Beautiful variations, sufficient time between courses, wide choice of wines, in short, a wonderful evening out for dinner. I was the last to leave and quickly took a photo, I completely forgot to make the dishes😁

What a surprise when we entered and it turned out that the entire restaurant had undergone a metamorphosis. It looked fresh yet very atmospheric. The reception was, as usual, hospitable, and the concept was well thought out. No menu but a choice of 4.5 or 6 courses. We were really full after 4 courses and everything tasted excellent. Compliments to the chef who prepared everything deliciously, also managed to strike up a conversation at all the tables and explained what we were eating. In short, a great evening and definitely worth repeating!

What a great restaurant. Everything is correct. The interior, the service, the owner. You can choose from different numbers of surprise menus and it is a surprise! From the moment you enter you feel welcome. We will have a chat with you and take into account your allergies and also what you really don't like. The restaurant is full and I understand why. Welcoming reception with fresh soup, bread, tapenade, cheese and garlic sauce. What a warm welcome. The food is delicious and well proportioned. We really enjoyed it and will definitely go again.

Cozy restaurant in the Molenstraat. They don't do menus here. Eating whatever is available, but of course you can veto certain ingredients due to allergies, religion or lust. The number of courses - ending with the main course - depends on the appetite. I did five (four or six was also possible) and that was more than enough. The series of starters were a colorful collection of snacks from Turkish cuisine. Lots of vegetables (eggplant, beets, spinach, carrot, etc.) and cream cheese, subtly flavored with dill and mint. Main course was a lamb dish with rice and beans and also grilled chicken fillet. The lamb was pleasantly streaky and wonderfully tender. It is a small miracle that the chicken fillet rivaled the tenderness of the lamb. I can never do that at home. But I didn't study for it either. My son and I thought that sprinkling of salt on the chicken could have been done a little less. But we just took what we didn't eat home with us in a container, together with the leftover lamb. You don't throw that away, do you? That's also the reason they don't do à la carte: fewer unused ingredients end up in the trash. Therefore just 5 stars. In short, Mira is a jewel of the Almelo catering industry.

Went out for dinner at Mira's tonight, what we got tasted good, sometimes some small measured snacks, But ultimately far too expensive for what you get in total, it's been a while since we ate here, but we were of the opinion that the food was better back then!!

This is definitely recommended! What a delicious meal we had here. Surprise menu was delicious and the dessert was just as delicious! Very pleasant staff and for us one of the tastiest restaurants in Almelo!

Expensive for what you get. A glass of wine at €8.5 is also too much. Our main course consisted of lamb and beef, the table next to us received a skewer and chicken for the same menu.
