We went to Sultan Arbil in Almelo last Sunday with 8 people for the Iraqi breakfast, and we are very satisfied! From the moment we entered we were welcomed friendly and well taken care of. The breakfast was great — everything was fresh and full of flavor. Especially the kahi with gamar and the baqelah bel dehin were delicious! It really is a piece of Iraq in the Netherlands. We will definitely come back. Recommended for everyone who loves authentic Iraqi food!

We had a great meal today, authentic roast meat and chicken and the salads/starters were all fresh. The staff was very friendly, so all in all it was a very nice restaurant.

A true culinary journey to the heart of Iraqi Kurdistan! Each dish was a delight: rich flavors, perfectly measured spices, and a generosity in the portions that reflects all of Kurdish culture. Special mention for the mezzé… a real treat! The setting is very friendly, and the service attentive from start to finish. A precious address that I recommend with my eyes closed.

I was there today with my family. I discovered the restaurant via Google. It was very tasty and the service was great!! I drove there for 30 minutes and would even drive there for 2 hours, it was so worth it!!! 😋

For €25-30 you can really fill yourself up there!🤠 The snacks with bread that you get at the beginning and the tea that you get at the end are super delicious!😻The portions are very large, tasty and not overpriced, the service is also friendly. The food was delicious and truly a reflection of traditional Iraqi cuisine. The atmosphere was cozy and there is a nice play area for the children, which makes it extra nice for families. Definitely worth 5 stars for us!

4 person menu chosen. Starters with many sauces and dips. Very tasty. The main course was a large plank with types of meat that were nicely seasoned and properly cooked. The ball pit for kids was very useful for us, including camera surveillance from the tables. Eating on location is recommended. Ordered 2 weeks later and it was significantly less (meat overcooked).

I came from Germany, to be honest. The food is good, the work is clean, the meat is fresh and good, of course I ordered grilled meat, the reception is nice, the atmosphere is nice and suitable for families, the shop is very clean and the manners of the young people are excellent in reception and dealing. Ordered via home delivery, Chicken was definitely tasty really really good But before I could eat my sparerib I first had to scrape off the rice, it is neatly stated that you get fries and sauce with it But nowhere do they put your sparips on yellow rice! Is it worth mentioning if you don't do it because there are people who don't like rice (me included) yes they really exist! So first I could clean my entire sparips

I recently visited Sultan Erbil during Ramadan and although the food was delicious, it was unfortunately served a bit cold. Understandable given the hustle and bustle of Ramadan, but I was still able to enjoy the tasty food.

My husband and my son went there randomly because they had business in Almelo. And surprised and shook how good the food was. So they decided to bought me a “stoofvlees” and “spare ribs”. Wow!!! The best i’ve ever had… we live in The Hague, sadly it’s too far from where we live.

Very pleasant and delicious meal. Grill, pasta, salad, tapas, and rice, especially Iraqi shawarma every weekend. Everything is served with fries or Iraqi bread. I will always recommend him.

Too bad we drove from Gronau Germany for good food but unfortunately the kebab was reasonable, tasty but the meat was very bad, no taste. Too bad for the money and so much driving. Bad luck.

Ate 2 times, got very sick 2 times, but the 2nd time I'm sure it's because of them, I think the work is very unhygienic, this is also the last time we stepped foot in here, the service was 3 nothing.

It was cold inside, no nice music, service was not good. Food was good but not what we ordered.

I give it 10 out of 10. The food especially the grilled is delicious. I recommend the Kus grill. Kebab is the best I have evert tried😍. The staff is so friendly and nice. They make you feel welcomed.
