Great atmosphere and fine cuisine.

The food was delicious; the tagliatelle with Parmesan and truffle was fantastic. The service was also very friendly and helpful. However, there are a lot of tables, so you sit close together.

A good Italian restaurant in Rotterdam. We didn't try the pasta, but we really enjoyed the appetizers and main courses.

I highly recommend this place! The personel was so friendly and made the bachelorette of my friend possible while the preferred time was actually not available. Once there, we got a round table in the middle of the room upstairs. It was beautiful and even when they forgot our order, they came to tell us immediately with an apology. And the food made up for the time we had to wait.

The food was absolutely delicious. The pistachio pesto pasta was wonderful. The shrimp ravioli, however, was less than stellar and undercooked. The semifreddo and lemon puffs were absolutely delicious. We had a fantastic evening, thank you!

I had a wonderful day with my boyfriend. We were greeted very warmly and asked for our preference about where we would like to sit. We didn't know what to order so we talked to the very friendly chefs and asked them what we could eat and they wished us this pasta and meat - it was really delicious. (I ordered pasta with squid, and he had filet de manzo). For an appetizer we ordered duck and I love it. Last time I came and ate it as a main course, but now the menu has changed and it is only in appetizers, I will wait until it comes back again) and for dessert we ordered very delicious desserts - cheese cake and tiramisu and we drank very good coffee. I also want to thank the very good service from the waiters who worked with us, and I want to single out the waiter Vincenzo for the wonderful service and for the photo he took for us. We will definitely welcome you here again and recommend it to everyone, thank you very much for this day 🩷

Our "own Italian" is on vacation, so a colleague recommended Nerello. Fantastic cuisine, refined, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The scroppino was made tableside, the most delicious scroppino we've ever tasted. All in all: staff, taste, atmosphere, and price—a wonderful experience, highly recommended!

Top-notch restaurant. Always a treat!! The tagliatelle and scroppino are favorites. Tip: choose the small pasta dish so you have room for the secondi and dolce.

Nice place, food was tasty. Place was quite crowded on Tuesday evening. Waiters were nice. Only thing is very long waiting time. We were hungry and it was not easy to wait. Otherwise place was good

The personal touch of the Dutch and Italian staff makes every visit a treat. The price-quality ratio is excellent, and the wines complement the dishes perfectly. It was a good reunion with old colleagues in a nice ambiance. We were kindly received and pleasantly served. Fine wines and good advice. We all had something different on our plate and it was all great. And when it is cozy you stay for a long time... After four hours of dining, satisfied and contented, I went to the next door. Super nice restaurant with super tasty food. Upon entering, warmly welcomed by the owner and the rest of the staff. I always order the same delicious pasta here, which is made in a large cheese and is served with truffle. As a side dish, potatoes from the oven that are actually not on the menu (thanks for that). The staff here is super attentive and pays close attention to whether you lack anything. I will definitely come back here with love!

How wonderful it is to have nice neighbours. When Nerello opened 5 years ago, 3 weeks before the Corona outbreak, we were worried whether this restaurant would make it. And now look, they are doing fantastic, thanks to the great atmosphere, the delicious food and the very nice people who work there. Grazie Roberto, è bello averti come vicino.

This restaurant definitely deserves a Michelin star! Everything is right here: from the stylish interior to the warm hospitality and of course the fantastic food – all worth five stars. Whether you come alone, as a couple or with a whole group, you always feel welcome. The team exudes experience and passion, and you notice that in every detail. Host Roberto makes the difference; his enthusiasm and personal approach make you feel at home immediately. The way you are greeted upon arrival and the warm farewell are examples that many other restaurants can learn from. I highly recommend this restaurant – even if you have to drive for hours to get there, it is more than worth the trip. A real gem in Rotterdam that you will definitely want to come back to!

Great place to eat! Service was warm and great. Once you enter you are welcomed in Italian and very kind. The food was AMAZING, the tagliatelle was out of this world. My boyfriend had a steak dish which was perfectly prepared. After dinner we both had gelato, the gelato wasn't the best I had but definitely good quality. I would recommend to everyone. I do wish the tables were not so closely seated next to each other, however it's a small restaurant so the owners cannot do much about it. Overall Great and would recommend!

Had a wonderful evening at Nerello. Warm welcome upon entry. Very friendly and helpful staff. Italian family as owner with passion for the profession. Not all of them speak Dutch fluently, but they also communicate somewhat in English. But that is precisely its charm. The food and wines were fantastic. Absolutely recommended. We are adding Nerello to our regular restaurants.

We are big Italy fans, obviously a big part for the food. This is my number 1 Italian in the Netherlands, no doubt. Enjoy your meal!

A nice Italian restaurant near the Oostplein. Don't expect pizza, but delicious pasta dishes or meat and fish dishes. Of course there are also delicious desserts. The staff is friendly. The prices are in good proportion. The portions are quite large. So highly recommended if you want Italian food, but not pizza.

The service was good, staff were all very friendly. There was a nice atmosphere! But the most important thing was of course the food itself. We enjoyed every dish! Even though we don't eat meat, there were fish and vegetarian options available. The truffle pasta made in a cheese wheel is so tasty! The desserts provided a taste explosion in your mouth with every bite! In short, we really enjoyed Nerello!

By entering the waiter took our coats and lead us to the table, really nice. We got some bread and water, just like in Italian restaurants. We had some wine, some ordered the pasta al tartufo, some the pasta scampi and I had the ravioli al pesto. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The desserts were also very delicious, the pistachio dessert was not like we imagined but it was still quite tasty. One of the waitresses did rush us by standing next to our table every 5 minutes which annoyed some of us. When I headed to the bar to ask for birthday shots, the same waitress asked if I wanted to pay before I could even say anything. I know the did this with the best intention but please give guests some space. Overall a really good experience and would love to dine here again!

It is always a pleasure to eat at Nerello. The new menu and wine list are amazing and of course the attention Roberto and team give to everyone is exceptional. Definitely for us this is the best Italian restaurant, to the point that we even travel for more than an hour to go there when we crave authentic Italian cuisine.

Fantastisch! Heerlijk gegeten. Ongelooflijk goede bediening, lekker italiaans. Tartaar was geweldig, maar de tonijn met rode ui/balsamico was echt de topper. Wij komen zeker terug.

Good and tasty food, service that pays attention to you. Check regularly whether everything is still as desired. The only point of attention is that it all happens very quickly. Fortunately, it didn't feel rushed, but if you have to pay 100 euros for 2 pastas, 2 desserts and 2 glasses of wine, I prefer to be able to sit there a little longer instead of standing outside in just over an hour.

Leuk Italiaans restaurant in het centrum van Rotterdam met vriendelijke bediening. Als voorgerecht kozen we voor de kalfswang en de tartaar van tonijn. De kalfswang was lekker, maar het gerecht had warmer mogen zijn. De tartaar was degelijk, maar geen hoogvlieger. Nadien kozen we beiden voor de tagliatelle met parmezaan en truffel, dit gerecht was uitmuntend en het is fijn om de bereiding te zien in het kaaswiel. De afsluitende tiramisu was top, de semifreddo was degelijk.
