By the water, but a bit stuffy because of the canvas roof and glass walls.

Extremely poor service. The order took ages, even though there was hardly anyone on the terrace. The wrong thing was also brought. The staff only spoke words like "huh?" When we told them we hadn't ordered tea, he walked away without saying a word. In short, extremely poor service, and he was also on his phone. The view was beautiful, though.

Worst service in the nederlands. Kept staring at the staff for about 30 minutes trying to order food, multiple eyecontacts, but they just stare back from empty eyes then keep ignoring you. Edit/Reply: it was on the 22nd of august around 4:30pm

At the table, we were quickly asked for drinks. But that was it. Eye contact was made at least 300 times; the waiters seem to look right through you. Unfortunately, we weren't able to order anything to eat.

Went for a drink which turned into dinner with my mom. The drinks great, tadty prosecco and pornstar martini and the food 10/10 we had mussels and pasta with shrimp. The portions were big, taste very good and service very friendly and attentive. Definetely recommend!

The ambiance is super nice. But they simply don't serve lunch. It's a lovely spot by the harbor, you can enjoy cocktails and snacks, but you won't find any lunch options here.

The people who work here are very rude. They asked us to move from the table in just 10 minutes after we sat down, even though when we arrived they told us we could sit wherever we wanted. The glasses and cutlery were dirty, as well as the table and the menus.

Tourist trap alert! The staff working here is very rude, they left us waiting without taking our order, they yelled at us when we asked why we couldn't pay the bill separately. We don't recommend it, the view is beautiful but take advantage of it.

It s hard to enjoy the ambiance when u receive dirty glasses and when u request to be changed the waitress rolls her eyes over and not even apologizes. She tried to change us from the table while we were serving after she told us to sit wherever to attract us, because it will ‘get busy’.

Visited on a Wednesday evening because we were attracted by the menu on their website. In reality, they had no seafood dinners, no mussels, and the server said they had some snacks available, but nothing that was on their web menu. Can't say how their snacks tasted. We left.

Avoid, tables not cleaned, coffee cup with lipstick stains. I doubt the hygiene. Nice setting but deplorable service.

La vista es agradable El chocolate caliente es chocolate con leche como el chocomel. El capuchino y pegamento wein de mis amigos no era bueno. Estábamos un poco decepcionados.

Among the restaurants in the area it is the cheapest, but without losing any quality, delicious and very generous dishes at fair prices, it is on the edge of the canal and has a large area for smokers.

I had a juicy beef burger, and my wife had fish and chips. We both enjoyed being in old bay.

Een poosje niet geweest... Het is en blijft goed toeven voor een drankje op het terras van Old Bay aan de Oude Haven in Rotterdam. Dit keer alleen iets gedronken en niet gegeten. Beetje duur, maar wel waar voor je geld. Lieve bediening ook.

We stopped for lunch on board the small dock. It is a sort of kiosk with a large and strategic open but sheltered space. Wonderful location in the heart of Rotterdam with a beautiful and sunny terrace under an architecturally fascinating building (the sunny day helped to enhance the place with the old renovated barges moored). We ate Fish & Chips and Hamburgers and drank beer: all good ("Fish & Chips" in particular). Young, no-frills service. Next time in Rotterdam, we will return to this place to enjoy some relaxation and simple but substantial cuisine.

Delicious food, we had the bruschetta, onion rings, fries with truffle and parmesan cheese, carpaccio and the classic burger. Everything was delicious. And the service was great! Super sweet, pleasant people. And the atmosphere was certainly on with a candle on the table and lights all around. Had a great evening!

After strolling through the city, we felt like having a nice refreshment on the terrace. That's why we sat down at Old Bay Rotterdam. Nice atmosphere and fast service, therefore definitely recommended. However, the terrace is not accessible for wheelchairs or strollers (or you must be able to lift them).

The food was good, the service was good and the location was great, but the washroom was out of toilet paper and out of soap. To be fair, it was reasonably clean, but C'mon people... Soap and TP are pretty basic aspects of hygiene.

Great service and an excellent place to work! Roland, the owner, has been the best boss I've ever had in the Horeca business, especially as an international in a Dutch environment. The food is fantastic, the cocktails are expertly shaken, and the recent remodeling adds a fresh touch.

Fantastic place with fast and friendly service. Good food, cold beer. Delicious cheesecake with strawberry sauce only €5. Recommended for evening relaxation.

Beautiful terrace on the Oude Haven, on the end side, which makes it a little quieter. A guarantee for a beautiful summer evening on the water! We first had drinks with various snacks. Then ate mussels. Service and quality of the food were top notch.

Wir hatten Glück und bkamen unmittelbat am Wasser einen Tisch mit Blick auf den alten Hafen. Der Service war freundlich schnell und das Ambiente unmittelbar unter den Kubushäusern rustikal. Gute Auswahl an Bier, Cocktails und kleinen Snacks. Entspannte Athmosphäre ! JA, wir kommen wieder.

I usually try not to go to the visibly tourist places, but happy I made an exception, as it was still quite cold, we were looking for a terrace with the bit of sun at least and then it came to my mind, try the old harbour. Beer was nothing special - good old stuff, but I have to be honest. I do not like nachos and when my partner ordered loaded nachos, I ordered fries with mayo. Mamma mia, the loaded nachos were heaven! Lot of jalapenos, spicy, amazing avocado guacamole, I was licking my fingers even after my partner couldnt eat anymore. These are the only one nachos I say I LOVE. :-)

The waitress smashed 2 bottles and never cleared them up. The Tuna was from a tin not fresh and the toilets were disgusting. Such a shame as the location is great. I wouldn’t go back.

Sehr schöne und gemütliche Bar mit toller Atmosphäre vom alten Hafen. Schnelle und nette Bedienung. Mit finger food für die ganze Familie gemütlich das Ambiente genossen. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Pranzo tra 5 amici. Io ho ordinato una insalata di tonno, in foto, buona e mi ha saziato. Tutti hanno gradito il loro pasto, tranne un amico che ha ordinato per €14,50 le crocchette di gamberi (solo pz. 2, poco ripiene e poco saporite) con patatine fritte.

Ottimo ristorante situato nel porto vecchio di Rotterdam. Che dire posto molto carino situato direttamente sul porto, personale simpatico e professionale, cucina ottima per mangiare pesce. Ve lo consiglio

Really nice location on the Oude Haven, looking over the water, good range of beers and cocktails, snacks good too and reasonably priced - would definitely go back, enjoyed the afternoon there.

Als het op locatie aankomt zit je hier goed, gezellig in de oude haven. Toch waren wij niet enorm te spreken over dit restaurant. Zo moesten we langer op ons drinken wachten dan ons eten, we waren al aan het eten toen onze drankjes pas kwamen terwijl deze tegelijk besteld waren. We hadden de lunchplank om te delen, delen was hierbij wel erg optimistisch met de kleine portie die geserveerd werd. Voor de prijs hoop je toch goed gevuld te raken, helaas was dit niet zo. Qua smaak was het ook niet top, de kabeljauw was erg flauw en had wel wat kruiden kunnen gebruiken bijvoorbeeld. Ook waren de juices op de kaart niet vers, dat viel tegen helemaal voor de prijs die er voor gevraagd wordt.

Guter Platz am alten Hafen. Preise waren ok . Allerdings die Toilette eine schwarze Festival Toilette mit Pinkelrinne sehr dreckig. Aussicht super .

Goed belegde boterhammen, smaakt erg goed! Had misschien iets meer kip bij gehoord omdat het een kip club sandwich was. Bediening is vriendelijk en vrij snel ook met de koningsdag

Haringparty had wat beter geladen kunnen worden denk ik. Mosselen waren zanderig, maar dat is goed opgelost. Oesters waren slap en niet lekker. Veel bediening die ook vlot hun werk deden.

Heerlijk plekje om te zitten met zonnig weer. Prachtige uitzicht over de Oude Haven van Rotterdam. Nachos genomen om te delen, waarbij je echt een grote schaal kreeg. De bediening kon wel iets beter. Zo waren ze niet zo snel met dranken opnemen.

Heerlijk gezeten langs het water met onze limoncello spritz. Deze was lekker en zeker niet te weinig! Wc’s daarentegen zijn echt vreselijke horror! Brrrrr dit kan wel wat betere verzorging gebruiken.

Cava, wel beperkte kaart en vooral gefrituurd eten.

Aardig personeel, maar jullie zouden je moeten schamen voor het toilet hier. De vloer plakt, halve toilet onder geplast, smerige wc-bril, remsporen. Super onhygiënisch, alsof het toilet al een week niet was schoongemaakt.
