Absolute banger. Starters are delicious, the meat in the main dishes are perfect. The dessert was also very good.

Excellent experience! The service is hard to beat. We were simply served drinks and a small dessert on the house and, despite the full house, everything was served quickly. In a pleasant atmosphere you can enjoy the excellent food here, you should just make a reservation in advance as it gets very busy at certain times!

Gezellig ingericht lange tafels geschikt voor grote gezelschappen. Helaas 2 shifts, waardoor we snel moesten wegwezen. Er werd geen kraanwater geserveerd, belachelijk! Voorgerecht garnalen matige kwaliteit, zeebaars matig, dame blanche zeer matig. Glas wijn bestellen niet mogelijk, alleen per fles bestellen. Dus cijfer voor het geheel: 5

It was packed so it’s a good job we had booked a table for dinner (on a Monday!). Fantastic range and quality of food. Absolutely spot on. Very friendly service - we were treated as regular guests. No wonder it’s so popular.

Not the cheapest, but very delicious

Convenient to our hotel, recommended by friends we enjoyed Olijfke so much our first visit we returned a second night to try additional menu items. The rice that accompanies many mains is to die for delicious! Grilled salmon and lamb kebabs were a standout! The decor and menu are so intelligently designed! Hints and flavors of Turkey are everywhere but subtle; easily blending with other Mediterranean influences that may be more familiar to western tastes. But even more than the delicious food, we were impressed with the graciousness of Turkish hospitality! This place is very popular! You may be able to walk in at 5pm but by 6pm we observed a res is in order. Staff will do their level best to accommodate all comers but what seems a magical cave that continuously expands must have a limit 😉.

It is a very good place. Everything is very nice. We came here from France. Then we went here to the Netherlands. First we went to the other establishment of this place, but it was full, so we came here, and we did not regret coming here. Half of the waiters and employees are Turkish. They are also very friendly. I highly recommend them.

It's a fairly decent place to eat. Food, atmospere and service are pretty good.

Really great service there. The food came after about 10 minutes. I can definitely recommend beef fillet and mix. Both dishes were very tasty, although they were warm and not hot. The Künefe is also great. At the end there was a small shock mouse for free. All in all a very good restaurant!

Wir waren mit 10 Personen dort. Es gibt viele kleine Vorspreisen die man auf den Tisch mit allen teilen kann. Fleisch gibt es allerdings nur Lamm oder Hähnchen. Nachtisch war auch sehr lecker. Service war freundlich und auf zack! Als Betthupferl gab es für alle ein kleines Schälchen mousse o chocolat zum Abschied. Kann mann wirklich weiterempfehlen

It was the restaurant we preferred for dinner during our visit to the Netherlands, and as a picky eater, I can say that everything was perfect. I preferred a dish like chicken shish, and my wife preferred chicken kebab. We tried şakşuka, haydari and falafel as appetizers and I have never tasted anything this delicious in Turkey. It was so obvious from the tastes that the owner of the restaurant was Turkish and from Adana that I also leave a heart to this, but if you are coming for touristic purposes and looking for a place to have dinner, definitely go. A friendly, friendly atmosphere, everything was very nice. I would like to thank the owner again for his interest and concern for us.

Even after we failed to properly reserve a table the host switched things around and created a spot for our party of 6. We had the group menu which was more than enough and quite tasty! Had a wonderful evening. Thanks!

Fuimos porque era un restaurante muy cercano a nuestro hotel ,sin ninguna expectativas y salimos encantadas. Nos trataron genial !la parrillada mixta buenísima ,nos trajeron distintas salsas para que probáramos ,todas muy ricas,incluso nos trajeron una ensalada sin haberla pedido .Finalmente nos invitaron también a un postre que estaba delicioso. Todo de 10, pero la atención fue excelente!

We have been coming to Restaurant Olijfje for years and it is always good :) The atmosphere, the food, our host, everything is just as it should be. I'd say go by and experience it. Tip: make a reservation otherwise you will be faced with a crowded shop!!!!!!

There is hardly anything resembling spanish tapas in the tapas menu. If it was marketed as a regular snackbar it would be good, but to have the expectation of having regular spanish tapas and not getting them is very dissapointing. The service was good!

Absolutely amazing- tender meats and impeccable flavours, every bite of the meal was perfect. The Dutch steak was really flavourful and tender, rice was buttery and paired really well with the vegetables and sauce. Grilled lamb was seasoned very well and has a great flavour profile. The waiters had fantastic service and were really helpful and nice. A must visit if you’re in Amsterdam, and probably the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had!

Just had dinner here before visiting the theater. Very efficient, fast and friendly service. We didn't have much time, but that wasn't a problem here. The menu is extensive. 1 negative point, the food (the chef's specialty) was a bit bland. It could be that the people of Amsterdam want it a bit more bland, haha

Came here for dinner. Got some appetizers and meal. At the end they gave us a free dessert! Everything was very yummy and they were very attentive.

Today we spontaneously went to dinner at Olijfje. Even though it was fully booked, the boss made it possible for us to get a place. The food was excellent...first a very tasty appetizer...then our very tasty fish! And for dessert a small ball of mousse. The employees are consistently friendly and accommodating. We are sad that we only discovered this great restaurant on our last evening in Amsterdam. We'd love to come back!!!

Delicious food in a nice restaurant with very friendly staff!

Hier afgesproken in een groep van 6 voor een werklunch om 12:00 uur (openingstijd). Voor de zekerheid toch maar gereserveerd. Het was lekker rustig en we hadden dus ook een tafel voor 6 personen. Een zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Lekkere koffie verkeerd vooraf. Heerlijk gegeten van de kaart. Iedereen was tevreden. Zelfs nog wat extra glazen water tussendoor en een bolletje chocolademousse toe van het huis! Zeer schappelijke prijzen voor de gerechten en alles smaakte vers. Lekker! We komen hier graag nog eens terug! Pluim voor de bediening!

I made a booking for a group of 35 people and asked in advance if a pre-order is required and if the restaurant could offer some starters to share at the beginning. Nothing was needed. When the group arrived the restaurant was completely overstrained and the staff had nothing prepared. Group members reached out to me and pleased me not to book the restaurant again for the future.

Love this place. They are always super friendly and they offers great food while bing also very welcoming. First time coming with a big group (18 people), they were quick to make some amends (originally booked for 16 only). Was very happy with it, thank you for having us!
