We had a wonderful meal at Pasta & Pesto in Prinsenbeek! We received a wonderful welcome. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed. I had the Pasta Puttanesca, and it was delicious: rich in flavor and perfectly prepared. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good Italian food!

Worst puttanesca I ever had. No capers, no olives, no anchovy…….. Skip this place

Stopped in for a bite to eat while passing through. Service was quick and the food was delicious!

Never had such a bad meal! We opted for the tapas concept (piccolo piatti). The schnitzel was fried, the pork tenderloin (which the server served as tenderloin) was bone dry. The bavette was the same. Sardinian pasta still had no flavor. There was no salt or pepper on the table, nor any olive oil or balsamic vinegar (which seems mandatory in an "Italian" restaurant). The tapas menu doesn't include a single dessert option... so if you want dessert after your meal, it will simply be added to the bill... We'd had enough after the second round. We then asked if we could "exchange" rounds 3 through 5 for dessert... but it wasn't possible. So we paid immediately and left. Cost: €50 per person!!!

The tomato soup is excellent. The mushroom soup is average. The carbonara and shrimp pasta have a very mild flavor. The rendang is excellent and has an authentic flavor. The order is prepared quickly. It's very quiet despite the large number of customers. The prices are considered high. The portions are large, especially the soup. The meat is halal. The tables are not clean (they stick to clothes). The staff are friendly. There are clean restrooms. Halal meat. Kind people. Pasta lacks flavor. The rendang fries are great. The tomato soup is perfect. Clean toilets. The table was sticky (needs better cleaning).

There is a new menu, with fewer dishes on it. At first I thought I had to shed a tear because of this, but nothing could be further from the truth. The new menu, with new dishes, is surprising and exceptionally tasty, and it did not disappoint. Dishes have become slightly larger, which also creates more room for better flavors. A great pleasant innovation!

Today we had a lovely lunch on the terrace. For me goat cheese salad, is a must! The croquette sandwich is just as a croquette sandwich should be 😉

Met 7 mensen tapas menu gegeten. Was goed, wel wat veel tomatensaus die in een aantal gerechtjes terugkwam. Was goed, niet geweldig. Gezellige avond gehad. Bediening was vriendelijk.

🥲 Portion of pasta arrabiata could really be bigger. A 'big' portion is only worth a starter. Too bad. 🤌🏼 A delicious vegetarian lasagna though! Surprising choice of vegetables. Top!

Compared to a few years ago, when you could still make all kinds of combinations yourself, it was a bit less, but still tasty.

Ate here for the first time yesterday and it was delicious with my husband. It was a surprise from my husband. We had both never eaten there but every time we drove by we said we have to eat here. Really recommended! Even the food that I normally don't like was delicious.

What a culinary surprise and a delicious extensive menu with small snacks to choose from. Very high quality tapas. You can order 2 or 3 different snacks 5 times and for us, ordering 3 times was more than enough.

Pretty and pleasant terrace. The snack offering is varied and the products are fresh. The time to be served is a little long but the waitress is very friendly and attentive. Good experience.

Helaas is de service niet meer wat het is geweest. Duurde heel lang voor we iets te eten kregen en dan krijg je eindelijk je eten is het koud. Jammer maar hier kom ik voorlopig niet meer.

Had dinner at this restaurant for the first time last night. A card that surprises. Gluten-free is also possible. Food was very good and everything fresh. The service is very friendly and at an appropriate distance. Constantly asking if it's okay can also be disturbing. Outside is a large terrace. We chose to eat inside. It's a bit dark inside, but you get used to it quickly. The extra cup of coffee is highly recommended. Price quality good. We will definitely come back here.

Een aardige lunch-plek met weinig keus op de menukaart. Er wordt gemeld dat het Italiaans restaurant is, maar met maar 1 pasta op de kaart viel dat tegen. De koffie was erg goed en werd heel verzorgd gepresenteerd. Wij hadden ons er meer van voorgesteld, maar het is een Brabantse kroeg, waar je een lekker broodje kunt eten.

You can also have a delicious lunch here. I find it very cozy and of good quality. The only negative point is the tea. They have Lipton tea bags. Such a quality business requires better tea. Everything else is great.

Very nice restaurant, friendly staff and Italian tapas seemed like a nice concept to us. We only missed the taste, some more garlic, herbs or pesto. Too bad because we won't be back for this price-quality ratio. Hopefully you read the reviews and can improve.

Coming from far away, I had already sent my order on Monday morning for a takeaway menu (corona and restaurant closure at 1700). At the end of the day I realized that no confirmation had been seen, besides my invoice.. What seems, They don't do collection on Mondays, but they couldn't reach me because I had made a typo in my provided telephone number. But exceptionally and thanks to Pasta & Pesto's Super Service, everything was still steaming hot and ready for me, because they didn't want to send me away without food. I can say that we enjoyed the appetizer board and lasagna. Everything tastes good. Full atmosphere (pity about the 5pm lockdown) and spontaneous service. Worth repeating

The restaurant is cozy, but I really didn't think the quality of the snacks was good. The taste and appearance was minimal.

Warm service by friendly staff. Menu is very varied. Cozy inside with a slightly nostalgic appearance, but super modern kitchen and catering technology. In the nice months, the terrace is highly recommended for walkers, cyclists and local residents, in short, everyone :).

Ate the small Italian snacks/tapas. Much of the taste was flat, super small portions (1 fried scampi??!) Sometimes something floats the sauce, the spring roll with ricotta, the grilled scampi, and sometimes it is bone dry, the fried mussels, the scampi in garlic ... such a shame A beautiful business really deserves better food, service hangs at the bar looking at the phones, missed opportunity for this beautiful business.

Upon arrival, the corona check was arranged quickly and efficiently. Celebrated the 30th anniversary here with our association, after the postponed AGM. The service was in good hands with the young employees. Smooth and friendly. After the drinks hour - with entertainment - dinner was next. We were asked in advance which starter and main course the individual preferred. Accompanied by warm garnish, a mixed salad, fries and fried potatoes. Everything came freshly prepared smoothly from the kitchen. Congratulations for pulling this off for quite a crowd. The surprise was the dessert, two portions per person in four variants, served rustically on a board. I have only heard positive reactions, although that did not apply to the fries. The choice for our group was somewhat conservative: a good decision if the average age is taken into account. I would like to come back again for the Pasta & Pesto concept. In any case, the house wine made me curious.

It is rare for me to agree with a review like that of Marco de Jonge in this case. For us this was another concept with small Italian snacks. Our first impression was also good; a cozy and beautifully decorated business with a nice terrace and friendly staff. In retrospect, my wife and I have to conclude that we were also somewhat disappointed. There is plenty of choice of cold and warm dishes, but just as Marco de Jonge indicates, not everything was equally tasty (and by that I mean a taste that was too flat). Although the food was a bit disappointing, my wife and I also had a pleasant evening. We would like to come back again with some improvements in the taste of the dishes.

Even though it was a bit disappointing, we still had a pleasant evening. If the kitchen tries to improve the quality and flavors, this could be highly recommended.

Good food! But the price tag is a bit disappointing (for what you get). The pace at which the drinks are offered also seems more like 'we would like to earn as much as possible' instead of 'would you like something to drink'... But the food is undeniably delicious!
