Good restaurant and nice service!

Cozy, good service and delicious food

We ate with a group in the dining room, and apart from the lovely hanging plants, the atmosphere was a bit lacking. The food was more than good, and the service was good and quick, though there was a long time between courses.

October 4, 2025. We ate here for the first time with 4 adults and 2 children. It's a lovely, spacious restaurant with an open kitchen in a beautiful location. The food was superb. You could clearly taste the freshness. Even the children finished their plates, which isn't always a given. So hats off to the chefs. The service was also friendly and impeccable. And when they even sang for you because you turned 70, it made for a fantastic evening together.

The food was good and delicious, but the room we were in was cold. I'm not a fan of one long table because you can't interact with the others. The dessert, the tasting menu, was very tasty, but it wasn't clear how many people the platter was for. It was placed between six of us, which seems a bit off. When I asked how many people the platter was for, I didn't get an answer. Everything else was great and enjoyable.

Delicious food! We were with our (in-laws), and Dad has difficulty walking and tremors in his hands. He was immediately helped into a more comfortable chair without any problem, and the mussels were shelled for him in the kitchen. Perfect!!

We have been coming here for years and it never gets boring. Always customer friendly staff and a good (changing) menu. Price quality is more than fine. Please note that it can be very busy, especially for dinner, reservations are a must.

Difficult to judge the food because we did not eat there. After a walk through the beautiful dune area we ended up there for a beer and a snack. There was nothing to complain about. A clean place, quick and friendly service and a nice place with a great terrace. Recommended? Yes! Come back? Yes!

I've been here before, but last Christmas was a real highlight. They had arranged this very well. We normally cook at home with the family, but now (for the first time) we had decided to go out for dinner together for Christmas. We ended up at De Duinrand because of the very promising menu. And it was certainly very promising, because we enjoyed it so much! We opted for a 4-course dinner during lunchtime. The food was very tasty and beautifully prepared. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. The tables were also spaciously arranged so that you were not on the back of your neighbor's neck, very nice! Furthermore, the service took a nice amount of time between the dishes, so it didn't come too quickly but it didn't take long either. Highly recommended, even outside of Christmas! Ps. The terrace is also lovely to sit on in the summer (also nice to combine with a walk).

Great for a meal, nice outdoor terrace. Been twice this summer, and the food was generally good, but not special. Unfortunately both times it was bad luck. A tasty starter with salmon, but the fish 'n chips tasteless and very greasy. The second time something like fritto misto, with vegetables and lemon mayonnaise. The expectation was fried seafood, with vegetables on the side (that's what the description on the menu seemed to say) and a sauce. The reality was that both fish and vegetables were fried in the same layer of dough, as if everything had been thrown into the same oil at once, the whole thing was partly clumped together and everything just had the fried taste without much variation, it was bland and the sauce had been forgotten. Eventually it gets boring and makes you feel nauseous. In addition, Dutch shrimps are too small to fry in this way, only dry fried granules remain. It looks like the dish is now off the menu. Unfortunately, the fish 'n chips were also comparable to the time before. The rest of the group said they ate reasonably well both times. The comments about the food were not taken seriously, because "there have been no other complaints about this dish", well... Furthermore, the last time we had to wait almost an hour for the food, it can happen, but we were not regularly asked if we wanted something to drink, everything just stayed away. If necessary, put a basket of bread with spreads on the table to compensate. If it ever happens again, then at least no fried fish. And hopefully the service is a little better ahead.

This is not only my opinion but also that of the 4 other adults who were there. This restaurant falls under the category of hidden gems. The reception was very pleasant. The staff was very hospitable. The food excellent. Not quantity but quality is of paramount importance. Make no mistake. At first you might think it might not be enough food. Take it from me, that is an incorrect assumption. Quantity is perfect. The number of reserved tables also indicates how popular this restaurant is. The prices are certainly good in relation to the quality of the food. Definitely recommended.

Overall a nice place, nice food. I don't think the view is that nice, but of course there isn't much they can do about that.

Visited three times before. Lunch was fine again, the weather also helped. The dishes served look great and taste very good. Atmosphere and service are top notch. The mini deserts are a nice addition.

It took quite a while for the main course to arrive (45 minutes). I had the round steak. This didn't taste good. I had to ask for salt and pepper to give it flavor. It seemed like it wasn't fresh. A lot of the dessert menu was also already gone. This gave me extra butter cake with my tea.

We spontaneously visited in the evening and got a table. Menu available and understandable in German. Food was of very good quality and taste. There's almost no water to be seen, but it was still cozy and nice. Communication in English was easy. In terms of price I would classify it as normal.

We come here often but had not left a review before Beautiful restaurant where you can enjoy both lunch and dinner. Now I'm reviewing dinner Bruchetta with mozzarella. Very tasty and fresh. Nice piece of green egg salmon and a vegetarian curry with naan bread. All beautifully laid out. Not too much, but quality. And finally, they have 9 different small desserts of which they recommend ordering 2-3 per person. We had dame blanche, kaatje mussel and redvelvet. Delicious soft vanilla ice cream. Also a good opportunity to sit with several people. They have both outdoor and indoor seating areas. Under a roof with or without heating

Excellent meal here! Carpaccio as it should be. Delicious mussels. Irish coffee made perfectly in the right proportions. We understand that the entire terrace was full. We are not from the area, but if we lived nearby, this might be our favorite restaurant. What a great tent. Service is friendly. Waiting times for the food are fine despite the crowds. Prices are average by Dutch standards. If we are ever in the area again, we would love to eat there again!

Wonderful restaurant! Had a very nice lunch! Wide choice, there is something tasty for everyone. Staff is also very nice! Enough space in the shade on the terrace.

mooi decor topbediening hadden ons echter verheugd op mosselen maar die hadden een stevige zandsmaak hebben er wel geen scène van gemaakt ofzo en ze gewoon opgegeten er zijn immers ergere dingen 😊😊we hadden dit wel tot tweemaal toe aangegeven omdat ze het ons vroegen of alles naar wens was, een kleine compensatie drankje ofzo was dus wenselijk geweest maar niks van dat 😊hebben toch een mooie fooi gegeven want de aangename bediening maakte het mindere eten goed

This is a wonderful place to have a Marvelous meal. I recommend the ousters as a starter. En perhaps an affogato al Cafe for desert?

A really good restaurant, right on Oostvoornseplas, ample parking, nice ambiance. Nice calm decor. Friendly staff. Appetizer: scallops. Well prepared, the addition of pea was not necessary, simply grilling is actually tasty enough. But perfect cooking. That's for sure. Main course: open lasagna with duck. Wowwww, how very well prepared. Delicious flavors, duck super tender, vegetables also tasty. Yes, big 10 Main course: salmon. The fish was cooked perfectly. The risotto verde was too salty and a bit too mushy for our taste. Side dish: mixed green salad. I I have been enjoying a good, simple, but really tasty salad for years now. No dry mess, but finely washed lettuce, cucumber, eggs, tomato and onion, perfectly balanced, dressing not excessive. In short. Finally someone who understands in the kitchen. You don't have to cover everything with a layer of dressing or sauce. Keep it simple, but fresh. Kudos. Dessert: go and taste it!

Price is really okay for German tourists, for two you will get your fill very well and very tasty. 50-60€ with tip. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the next hotel - very relaxed and idyllic. Very nice staff.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Je proefde dat alle ingrediënten vers waren en met liefde bereidt. Er staan gerechten op de kaart waar je in eerste instantie niet snel voor kiest maar de verschillende smaken combineren heel goed. De bediening was vlot en vriendelijk en maakte ook een praatje. We hebben echt genoten.

Prices for something to drink as well as for food are far too expensive, despite the empty restaurant we waited over an hour for the food, the food was bland and didn't taste good, an absolute no go for these prices, the service couldn't speak German and only a lot of English Hard to understand, the atmosphere was nice but I wouldn't recommend it

Good for lunch or passing through. The food is not really impressive.

Heerlijk gegeten met zijn vijven. Ik had persoonlijk de steak tartaar en als hoofdgerecht de tortellini’s met gebakken kalfsoester. Dit was heerlijk en de rest van de tafel zat ook te smullen van hun gerechten. Op de gastvrijheid van de bediening was niks op aan te merken. Alleen aan de punctualiteit van de bediening valt nog wat te verbeteren. Hebben vaak lang met lege glazen of/en aan tafel met lege borden gezeten. In een halfvol restaurant was dit naar ons inzicht niet nodig geweest. Kortom hebben we super gegeten en zijn we vriendelijk ontvangen en geholpen alleen dat ene extraatje had het voor ons tot een perfecte avond gemaakt.

Pannekoeken...niet lekker .erg schraal...en weinig smaak ..dat kan veel beter .

Wij hebben een High tea gedaan en deze valt zeker aan te raden. Heerlijk eten en goede service!

Schönes Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente und freundlichem Personal. Das Essen war sehr gut, wir kommen wieder.

Erg prettige ontvangst. Het restaurant was nog niet open, maar ik mocht toch plaatsnemen en werd meteen geholpen. Lekkere lunch, comfortabele stoelen, aardige en efficiënte bediening. Prima plek.

Team building en een dinner tijdens mijn werk, goed verzorgd allemaal en een prachtige lokatie, alles is netjes en keurig verzorgd, ook is het goed vertoeven op het terras! Heerlijke lunch genuttigd, goed dat we een reservering gedaan hadden toen wij klaar waren zat het terras nagenoeg vol. Gezellig bedienend personeel, mooi kaart en een prachtig terras op een gezellige lokatie aan de rand van de duinen.

Super zaak! Lekker gegeten, gezellige bediening en echt een mooie en schone zaak. Kan er heerlijk buiten zitten, zelfs als het weer wat minder is. Kortom gewoon een lekker avondje eruit, waarbij alles gaat zoals het eigenlijk hoort!
