Authentic, delicious dishes and a good wine list. Very attentive, friendly, and welcoming service (also Italian) and a cozy atmosphere. It's also a lovely spot for lunch or a cup of coffee, and in the summer, you can relax in the lovely garden.

Bad takeout pizza. 4 cheeses, exactly 1 marble of Gorgonzola. And 6 melted little pieces of cheese. I was missing 2 cheese flavors. The arugula was soaking wet and the sides were dry and untopped. Truly the worst takeout pizza ever. Previously it was always good.

Pizza was nice and crusty. I had a pizza bruschetta and it was very good. There is also a lot of space and even a garden in the back.

I ordered a takeaway pizza. They definitely have the best pizza in Zoetermeer. It's a shame they don't deliver, but the pizza is true Italian.

Terrible manager! I gave it another try after years. I had a problem there before, but I couldn't remember exactly what, so I thought... oh well, surely it won't go wrong a second time. The atmosphere and the food were fine back then too. When we arrived and I saw the disapproving look on the manager's face—who routinely treats customers like inferior creatures—I knew all along that he was the problem. We had 3 drinks and 2 pizzas, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with that. After indicating a few times that we wanted to pay (the waiter nodded kindly but never came over to us), it eventually turned out that I had to pay at the cash register. The bill had apparently been creatively topped up in the meantime. In addition to our 3 drinks and 2 pizzas, there was a 3rd pizza, a pasta, 2 starters, and a 4th drink. €47.55 suddenly became €79.65. The staff couldn't figure it out when I pointed out the mistake. So it was time for the ever-condescending manager to take over. He did all sorts of things on the screen before finally asking... 'what exactly did you have?' I said: 'Just show me the receipt, because then I can tell you exactly.' So, after I had listed our 3 drinks and 2 pizzas, the manager proceeded to recite the total of €47.55 agonizingly slowly (hoping I would turn it into €50?). No apology or, would you like another cup of coffee on the house... nothing. Mistakes can be made, but how you handle them as a standard practice is a conscious choice. In his demeanor, the manager resembled an autistic little brother of Basil Fawlty, but without any humor and with a permanently arrogant look. If I were ever to consider eating there again and I saw that the manager still works there, I would turn around very quickly.

Had lunch at Bella Barista (attached establishment with Bella Torino). Rather unique atmosphere. Very friendly and prompt service. Food was mediocre - the menu option with avacodo - Huisgemaakte quacamole met walnoten, cherrytomaten en honingmosterd dressing - was overpowered with garlic. The Caprese tosti - Mozzarella met tomaat en pesto was very nice. The red velvet cake was decent.

The food itself is tasty, but the salmon starter was disappointing; more lettuce than salmon. The pizza was tasty, the four cheeses. The wait staff could play a bit more active role in taking drink requests. It is affordable and the food is fine, with a few areas for improvement here and there.

Note recommended!!!! Worst experience ever! I booked a table for me and my wife for her birthday. When we arrived the person who managed the tables and reservations was so unwelcoming and poker face. Then he showed us our table and sat there and waited around 10 minutes just for the dinks menu! We ordered a starter and 2 drinks. The starter was nice but before we get the starter we ordered another round of the same drinks which the they brought for my wife but never brought my drink! We reminded them after 5 minutes and it took another 10 minutes for one of the staff to walk past us and we told him that I never received my second beer! Another 5 minutes passed and they finally brought my beer! Then we wanted to order the main course but after bringing us the menu they kinda ignored us for another 15 minutes. Finally we managed to order and the food was kind of overpriced for the portion and quality. In terms of staff friendliness; one of them was friendly but the main person managing the tables seemed very annoyed and rude!

I used to come and pick up the special every week. After years, I picked up 7 pizzas and the quality is still good. Good crust and well-topped. Highly recommended. Due to the good reputation, it can get busy, but the business has expanded significantly.

We had booked a high tea for my birthday, specifically in the courtyard, where it was supposed to be wonderfully quiet, due to the birthday girl's tendency to get easily overstimulated. I made that clear as well. Unfortunately, it had rained a little that morning, and when we arrived, we had to sit inside, where it was quite crowded and there was loud music. We were able to sit by the window. They told me that everything outside was soaking wet, but the terrace was full of people; everything there had dried! Why not dry it in the courtyard then? Were we being difficult? I was extremely disappointed; how letdown! Promising something but not keeping the agreement; I suffered quite a few after-effects from it, From severe headaches to heart rhythm disturbances. We should have just left; it's a shame it had to turn out this way. We were left with a sore throat. No more Bella Barista for us!

We had a delicious meal here. We ordered three pizzas and a pasta, and they were all well prepared and flavorful. I personally chose the 4 Salami, which I highly recommend. Of course, we also had a nice bottle of white wine. 😀. We were seated at the very back, which was atmospherically decorated like a courtyard, adding an extra cozy touch to the evening. After the main course, we finished with a tasty limoncello, exactly what you want to round off such a meal nicely. In short: a lovely place, good food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

The place is the best spot when you want to eat outside always open and Italian is a good option. Usually after leaving they give a beautiful fresh flower to the women but unfortunately yesterday they didn't give me one.

Delicious pizzas, noisy restaurant. Last time we were there with a group. First, my granddaughter got hit hard with lemonade falling off the tray, then my son with hot tea. No apology or compensation from the manager.

Unfortunately, a dramatic experience with the rib eye: full of sinews. This was quickly resolved with a second one. However, another sinew, impossible to get through. Also resolved: removed from the bill. The pasta and fish dishes were fine. The limp potatoes served with the fish and meat—pieces in their skins, presumably grilled bell peppers, and some other vegetables in tiny ceramic laboratory dishes—were not exactly a taste sensation. Anyway, although the disappointing experience was attempted to be mitigated with the offer of coffee, etc., the enjoyment was gone. Absolute respect for the attempts to lighten the mood despite the failing purchases, kitchen? Advice: find a different butcher, do something about the containers served around the fish and meat.

We love eating out every week, and every time the food is different and delicious. But this time, it was terrible for our daughter's birthday. It was completely unappetizing, with no flavor whatsoever. It was a real shame. We didn't finish our meal and went straight home, never to return.

Given the good reviews, I visited Bella Torino again after many, many years. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment... We were celebrating my father's birthday, and you hope to have a nice evening. This turned out differently. The rib-eye steak was exceptionally bad: tough, very red, full of sinew, and strange meat consisting of two separate pieces stuck together. We raised the issue and had it sent back (and we don't complain easily, because it was so embarrassing!). We received a second/new one, which was actually even worse...such a shame!! When serving, the staff didn't even know what kind of fish they were serving: sea bass or sea bream... We were given potatoes as a side dish; we had ordered vegetables... These were floating in oil and worthless for the price... The pasta dishes were okay, though. All in all, a truly disappointing evening. The manager reacted calmly and didn't charge for the dish, but tried to make it right. But alas, we won't be back...

I recently had pizza here. The food arrived quickly after ordering. The staff came by regularly. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is delicious.

Bella Torino is simply a household name. We love coming here. The food is fantastic and the service is as it should be. They genuinely see you and recognize you. You're not just a number. You can feel the passion for the business and the food everywhere you go. Now that we've moved, it's only a 45-minute drive, because it's worth it!

We've been coming here occasionally for years. We've always had a good meal with friendly and helpful service. But the last two years have been less so. Yesterday was definitely the last time I went. The staff was disinterested, we had to wait a very long time (I think they forgot about us), and the steak we ordered was extremely tough. It's a shame because we always enjoy coming here, but this was a waste of money.

We ate here on Christmas Eve; table 19. The drinks arrived quickly. As did the appetizers. But then the long wait began... 1.5 hours!!!!! It was Christmas Eve, but some tables were already occupied for the second time. So I checked. After 105 minutes, our food arrived. The meat and sauce were fine. But the salmon lasagna was cold!!! We could have waited longer, but not faster? And then the meat would have been cold too. So yeah... Ice cream with eggnog? We could indeed detect a few drops, but I couldn't name it.

The appetizer and dessert were delicious. Service... one man sneezes into his hand and wipes it on his pants, then continues serving. So disgusting. Go wash your hands first. Don't come back there again.

We had a wonderful meal last weekend. As always, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was friendly. Pizzas cost around €15 and dessert around €8.50. I found the 0.75-liter (house) wine a bit pricey, coming to €30. Perhaps it would be a good idea to include drink prices on the menu as well. Regardless, everything else was impeccable.

Bella Torino, where do I even begin? We are always early diners, so we arrived right after opening time. We were greeted warmly, escorted to our table, the candles were lit, and we were asked if we wanted anything to drink. The drinks arrived quickly, along with a complimentary baguette with herb butter—compliments. Next, a waiter came to take our order. When we asked if we could swap out a few toppings, he did his best to hide some irritation, but in our opinion, he didn't quite succeed. He noted down our requests uninterestedly. The pizzas then arrived quite quickly and exactly to our liking. They tasted good! However, here is a small "but." I am a very slow eater, and Bella Torino didn't seem to appreciate that, as the place had filled up quite a bit by then. Twice, a waitress came to our table to ask if I was finished eating. To which I indicated, with a full mouth, that this was not the case. I also had to stop her from taking my drink off the table, which had about a fifth of its contents left. My partner's plate was cleared away in advance, though. I don't let it bother me, but I can imagine that as a customer, you might feel a bit ignored. It is perhaps understandable on their part on a Saturday night when the place is packed, but as a customer, you are not obliged to rush. All in all, I had a fine evening regarding the food, but I didn't think the atmosphere and service were worth a full score. The prices are okay. Although, one might wonder if swapping onions for olives justifies a surcharge of €2.50. Not a pizzeria I would go out of my way for. But if I had to be in Zoetermeer again, I wouldn't necessarily avoid it either.

We had a delicious meal here with a few friends. A nice and cozy restaurant with friendly service and a wonderful aroma of Italian food. There were four of us; we ordered two platters of antipasti and one bruschetta as starters, all of which tasted sublime, by the way. We also ordered a nice Pinot Grigio and a Nero d'Avola to go with it for a reasonable price. For main courses, we ordered pasta twice, salmon once, and veal steak once. Amazing dishes, every single one of them: buttery soft steak, fatty fish, and super tasty pasta sauces. The Tiramisu and the Coppa Limoncello are also highly recommended. We were so enthusiastic that we ordered pasta for takeout again the following Sunday. The quality is just as top-notch. From now on, this is our favorite Italian restaurant in Zoetermeer!

Cozy atmosphere and delicious food!

I ordered a Carbonara for takeaway and was expecting to enjoy a good, authentic pasta. Unfortunately, what I got was completely different honestly, it was quite disgusting. It had nothing to do with real Carbonara: no egg, no Pecorino, just pancetta and even parsley. This is not how Carbonara should ever be made. I hope the restaurant will take this as constructive feedback, because the place itself looks nice and has potential, but the food needs serious improvement if they want to call it “Italian.”

We visited Bella Torino the cafe which is really nice. I tried tosti Caprese price and performance unbelievable. I also drink double espresso which was also really tasty and smooth as how I like normally. I really recommend this place.

Very busy on Monday, but we were seated at a cozy and quiet spot by the window with a view of the Dorpsstraat.

We had something to celebrate, so we enjoyed a delicious meal at Bella Torino. The service, however, was very poor. When our drinks were empty, they didn't ask if we wanted another drink. When they asked, "Would you like a starter?", we indicated we'd prefer dessert. But after our pizza, we waited at least 20 minutes for someone to come and ask if we wanted dessert. They walked past us several times, and they even stood practically next to our table, peering into the room to see if they could help. Yes, we could have asked ourselves, but because we weren't asked during our meal while others were, and they didn't ask if we wanted another drink, we literally ate and drank. We paid without dessert and left. Such a shame!

The food tasted great, but unfortunately, the service was much worse. Orders were taken and delivered incorrectly. As a result, both drinks and dishes were delivered incorrectly. Someone had to ask if the order could be taken. The waiter smelled strongly of tobacco smoke, which was very unpleasant. Personally, I found the staff generally distant and unfriendly. It's a shame because the food tasted delicious. The pizza was really delicious for a great price, and the carpaccio was also excellent, so I would definitely come back for that. However, the service is definitely something that would put me off.

So I politely asked, "Could I have some baguette?" The slightly taller gentleman replied, "That's served with your meal as standard." I replied, "Oh no, I'd prefer it beforehand," and then he walked away. When I was given the opportunity to speak to him again, I asked my question a second time. The slightly taller gentleman then replied very rudely and delegatingly, "I've already told you for the second time that it will be with your meal." I then asked the owner, and he immediately brought a delicious baguette. What I want to say is, if you can't be friendly to your guests, call in sick and stay home. Don't complain to your customers because, after all, we're the ones paying your salary. Otherwise, the food was decent.

I visited Bella Barista to discuss the possibilities for a lunch for 35 people in November. The service was incredibly friendly, and I was able to view the space right away. Everything was possible, fantastic. As agreed, I sent an email from home with the dates and other requests. No response, so I called them. Then, I received an email back. I responded to this email immediately, but now, three weeks later, after several calls and emails, despite several promises of a quote, I still haven't received one. A no-go for us. Such a shame, the buffet and location seemed great. But communication is everything.

We sat down on the terrace, where the parasols were open, as we've done before to have a drink with the family and, if you like, a bite to eat. Sometimes we only decide after drinks. Well, after 15 minutes, no one came. My husband went inside, and then the owner showed up with a certain attitude. He reacted rather annoyed, announcing that the terrace was closed. "How were we supposed to know?" we asked. Well, there was a sign on the side of the building...hidden somewhere behind the parasols. Logically, we couldn't see it. But he didn't react hospitably at all; it was our fault. Anyway, we were allowed to sit in their courtyard. We went there with a hesitant feeling, but even there we had to wait a long time for soft drinks and coffee. There were a maximum of three couples in the restaurant. Several waitresses were walking around, and in the kitchen they were busy preparing for the evening guests. They didn't come back in the meantime. It almost seemed like she didn't have time for the occasional visit before the dinner crowds. We left to grab a bite somewhere else. I found it a strange experience. A shame, because I think it's a nice place to see, with beautiful decor. It was really the way they treated me that gave me a strange, unwelcoming atmosphere. I might give it another try soon; hopefully, it was a one-off.

Lots of people, very busy, poor quality. Portions were ample but not very flavorful. An Italian would be embarrassed. In fact, none of the dishes were seasoned well. A real shame. We won't be going back.

Today we had half an hour to spare before our appointment. The terrace was completely empty. We eat here regularly, too. But I was told that just having a quick drink on an empty terrace wasn't allowed. We visit regularly and think the food is very good there, but we didn't have time for that. It's a shame you've lost a regular customer with promotions like this. At 1892, we were warmly welcomed for a drink on the terrace. I won't be seeing you there again!

Food was very bad! Not recommended staff in the service really do their best but quality is very bad Meat was still raw up to 2 times! It used to be a nice place with good food and a nice menu now it feels like I'm sitting on the strip on chersonisos with a plastic card in my hand not recommended

I bought 2 Margaritas, and my daughters said that so far it is the best pizza they have had here in Holland, and that it is much better than many in Italy.

We just wanted to have a coffee and we found that there were still enough tables outside, so we sat down. But then the waitress (male) came angrily and asked if we had a reservation. Since it was relaxed and there were no people, we did not expect to reserve a place for a coffee in advance. Moreover, he asked if we wanted to eat and when we said we didn't want to, just a coffee, he said that they don't serve drinks without ordering food. That's a lie, because we did that before and that's wrong from my point of view. In general, every time we come there, we have a problem. Like a few years ago, when kids forgot their phone and when we came back they said they didn't have it, until one of their guests said he saw a waitress take it. Then suddenly he found it. I definitely don't recommend this restaurant.

My daughter just picked up her child after a long day of work and stopped for a drink and something to eat. She has never been treated so RUDELY by a manager/clerk named Rocco. When asked if they could order a small snack, no! When asked if she could charge her cell phone to let the folks back home know she was reachable again with her newly repaired cell phone, the rude lout says they don't have an outlet. The receipt says "Thank you for your visit. See you next time". What do you think Rocco?!! Oh yeah, that lady with a child you just treated like shit has 2000 followers...we will recommend you NOT.

Dachshund friendly you have to be in Zoetermeer, something that the staff of restaurant Bella Torino has mastered! On Dutch Dachshund Day, they hospitably opened the doors wide, including the garden decorated with many beautiful summer bloomers. A party in itself, and from my side a spontaneous round of applause for those who take care of it all so neatly! And I haven't even mentioned what we came for. So lunch. After we were provided with a Geusz blonde and a white Lambrusco by the nice lady, she apologized for the limited menu on this day. Which was communicated to us verbally. The choice was still huge and we opted for a foccacia with carpaccio and one with tuna. It turned out not only to be a good choice, because in addition to the delicious taste, it was more than enough for a lunch dish. Dear people of Bella Torino, thank you very much for your hospitality and once again delicious food. And not unimportant until next year, when many dachshunds will visit Zoetermeer again on May 2! We came here for a quick bite and ordered a salad with chicken, pizza tonno and spaghetti carbonara. Beforehand we also had some bread with dip from the house > nice! Service was nice and friendly. Once in between you were asked if you wanted to drink something else when the glass was empty. Unfortunately, clearing up takes a long time. To eat : Pizza Tonno was good. Delicious pizza, good size, enough toppings on it. You can do it. The salad with chicken, on the other hand, was okay. Not a culinary highlight and the portion was kept rather small. At least chicken was well represented and the dressing was okay too. The spaghetti carbonara, on the other hand, was unfortunately more of a mush than tasty and fresh. I always don't understand why you have to offer something like this ready-made as a sauce. But now okay. Is what it is. Strangely enough, the EC machine went on strike when I was paying. What a coincidence ;)

We konden gisteravond op het laatste moment nog een plekje reserveren, was echt top dat het kon, gezien de drukte. We hebben heerlijk gegeten, de kids hebben echt genoten van de pizza en de toetjes. Ik zelf had gegrilde zalm met groente en spaghetti naturel. Was ondanks de drukte echt gezellig en heerlijk gegeten.. Een geslaagde avond die we van te voren niet gepland hadden. Bedankt Bella Torino en tot gauw weer.

Afgelopen zaterdag hebben we bij Bella Torino gegeten. In de middag belden we om te vragen of er nog een plek beschikbaar was, maar het restaurant was al helemaal volgeboekt. Gelukkig konden we toch vanaf 19:30 uur terecht! Na onze ervaring begrijpen wij heel goed waarom het hier zo druk is. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en de service was uitstekend. Tot snel weer!
