Restaurant Pizzeria Bella Torino in Centrum

I ordered a Carbonara for takeaway and was expecting to enjoy a good, authentic pasta. Unfortunately, what I got was completely different honestly, it was quite disgusting. It had nothing to do with real Carbonara: no egg, no Pecorino, just pancetta and even parsley. This is not how Carbonara should ever be made. I hope the restaurant will take this as constructive feedback, because the place itself looks nice and has potential, but the food needs serious improvement if they want to call it “Italian.”

Excellent Italian restaurant with an extensive menu, very good service and reasonable prices.

We visited Bella Torino the cafe which is really nice. I tried tosti Caprese price and performance unbelievable. I also drink double espresso which was also really tasty and smooth as how I like normally. I really recommend this place.

Very busy on Monday, but we were seated at a cozy and quiet spot by the window with a view of the Dorpsstraat.

We had something to celebrate, so we enjoyed a delicious meal at Bella Torino. The service, however, was very poor. When our drinks were empty, they didn't ask if we wanted another drink. When they asked, "Would you like a starter?", we indicated we'd prefer dessert. But after our pizza, we waited at least 20 minutes for someone to come and ask if we wanted dessert. They walked past us several times, and they even stood practically next to our table, peering into the room to see if they could help. Yes, we could have asked ourselves, but because we weren't asked during our meal while others were, and they didn't ask if we wanted another drink, we literally ate and drank. We paid without dessert and left. Such a shame!

The food tasted great, but unfortunately, the service was much worse. Orders were taken and delivered incorrectly. As a result, both drinks and dishes were delivered incorrectly. Someone had to ask if the order could be taken. The waiter smelled strongly of tobacco smoke, which was very unpleasant. Personally, I found the staff generally distant and unfriendly. It's a shame because the food tasted delicious. The pizza was really delicious for a great price, and the carpaccio was also excellent, so I would definitely come back for that. However, the service is definitely something that would put me off.

Delicious pizzas, excellent rosé, etc. Service and friendliness are top-notch! I think the salt content of the pizza could be a bit lower, but that's just personal preference. ☺️

So I politely asked, "Could I have some baguette?" The slightly taller gentleman replied, "That's served with your meal as standard." I replied, "Oh no, I'd prefer it beforehand," and then he walked away. When I was given the opportunity to speak to him again, I asked my question a second time. The slightly taller gentleman then replied very rudely and delegatingly, "I've already told you for the second time that it will be with your meal." I then asked the owner, and he immediately brought a delicious baguette. What I want to say is, if you can't be friendly to your guests, call in sick and stay home. Don't complain to your customers because, after all, we're the ones paying your salary. Otherwise, the food was decent.

I visited Bella Barista to discuss the possibilities for a lunch for 35 people in November. The service was incredibly friendly, and I was able to view the space right away. Everything was possible, fantastic. As agreed, I sent an email from home with the dates and other requests. No response, so I called them. Then, I received an email back. I responded to this email immediately, but now, three weeks later, after several calls and emails, despite several promises of a quote, I still haven't received one. A no-go for us. Such a shame, the buffet and location seemed great. But communication is everything.

We had a delicious meal, the service was great, and despite it being busy, it didn't take long to get our drinks and food. Definitely recommended!

We sat down on the terrace, where the parasols were open, as we've done before to have a drink with the family and, if you like, a bite to eat. Sometimes we only decide after drinks. Well, after 15 minutes, no one came. My husband went inside, and then the owner showed up with a certain attitude. He reacted rather annoyed, announcing that the terrace was closed. "How were we supposed to know?" we asked. Well, there was a sign on the side of the building...hidden somewhere behind the parasols. Logically, we couldn't see it. But he didn't react hospitably at all; it was our fault. Anyway, we were allowed to sit in their courtyard. We went there with a hesitant feeling, but even there we had to wait a long time for soft drinks and coffee. There were a maximum of three couples in the restaurant. Several waitresses were walking around, and in the kitchen they were busy preparing for the evening guests. They didn't come back in the meantime. It almost seemed like she didn't have time for the occasional visit before the dinner crowds. We left to grab a bite somewhere else. I found it a strange experience. A shame, because I think it's a nice place to see, with beautiful decor. It was really the way they treated me that gave me a strange, unwelcoming atmosphere. I might give it another try soon; hopefully, it was a one-off.

Lots of people, very busy, poor quality. Portions were ample but not very flavorful. An Italian would be embarrassed. In fact, none of the dishes were seasoned well. A real shame. We won't be going back.

Today we had half an hour to spare before our appointment. The terrace was completely empty. We eat here regularly, too. But I was told that just having a quick drink on an empty terrace wasn't allowed. We visit regularly and think the food is very good there, but we didn't have time for that. It's a shame you've lost a regular customer with promotions like this. At 1892, we were warmly welcomed for a drink on the terrace. I won't be seeing you there again!

Food was very bad! Not recommended staff in the service really do their best but quality is very bad Meat was still raw up to 2 times! It used to be a nice place with good food and a nice menu now it feels like I'm sitting on the strip on chersonisos with a plastic card in my hand not recommended

I bought 2 Margaritas, and my daughters said that so far it is the best pizza they have had here in Holland, and that it is much better than many in Italy.

We just wanted to have a coffee and we found that there were still enough tables outside, so we sat down. But then the waitress (male) came angrily and asked if we had a reservation. Since it was relaxed and there were no people, we did not expect to reserve a place for a coffee in advance. Moreover, he asked if we wanted to eat and when we said we didn't want to, just a coffee, he said that they don't serve drinks without ordering food. That's a lie, because we did that before and that's wrong from my point of view. In general, every time we come there, we have a problem. Like a few years ago, when kids forgot their phone and when we came back they said they didn't have it, until one of their guests said he saw a waitress take it. Then suddenly he found it. I definitely don't recommend this restaurant.

My daughter just picked up her child after a long day of work and stopped for a drink and something to eat. She has never been treated so RUDELY by a manager/clerk named Rocco. When asked if they could order a small snack, no! When asked if she could charge her cell phone to let the folks back home know she was reachable again with her newly repaired cell phone, the rude lout says they don't have an outlet. The receipt says "Thank you for your visit. See you next time". What do you think Rocco?!! Oh yeah, that lady with a child you just treated like shit has 2000 followers...we will recommend you NOT.

Dachshund friendly you have to be in Zoetermeer, something that the staff of restaurant Bella Torino has mastered! On Dutch Dachshund Day, they hospitably opened the doors wide, including the garden decorated with many beautiful summer bloomers. A party in itself, and from my side a spontaneous round of applause for those who take care of it all so neatly! And I haven't even mentioned what we came for. So lunch. After we were provided with a Geusz blonde and a white Lambrusco by the nice lady, she apologized for the limited menu on this day. Which was communicated to us verbally. The choice was still huge and we opted for a foccacia with carpaccio and one with tuna. It turned out not only to be a good choice, because in addition to the delicious taste, it was more than enough for a lunch dish. Dear people of Bella Torino, thank you very much for your hospitality and once again delicious food. And not unimportant until next year, when many dachshunds will visit Zoetermeer again on May 2! Delicious Italian with plenty of choice (especially pizzas). Unfortunately, the pasta menu has become slightly smaller, but not the portions! Also great for an hour of eating!

Delicious meal at Bella Torino, friendly staff. Tasty food and atmosphere.

We came here for a quick bite and ordered a salad with chicken, pizza tonno and spaghetti carbonara. Beforehand we also had some bread with dip from the house > nice! Service was nice and friendly. Once in between you were asked if you wanted to drink something else when the glass was empty. Unfortunately, clearing up takes a long time. To eat : Pizza Tonno was good. Delicious pizza, good size, enough toppings on it. You can do it. The salad with chicken, on the other hand, was okay. Not a culinary highlight and the portion was kept rather small. At least chicken was well represented and the dressing was okay too. The spaghetti carbonara, on the other hand, was unfortunately more of a mush than tasty and fresh. I always don't understand why you have to offer something like this ready-made as a sauce. But now okay. Is what it is. Strangely enough, the EC machine went on strike when I was paying. What a coincidence ;)

The place is the best spot when you want to eat outside always open and Italian is a good option. Usually after leaving they give to woman a beautiful fresh flower but unfortunately yesterday they didn't give me one.

Afgelopen zaterdag hebben we bij Bella Torino gegeten. In de middag belden we om te vragen of er nog een plek beschikbaar was, maar het restaurant was al helemaal volgeboekt. Gelukkig konden we toch vanaf 19:30 uur terecht! Na onze ervaring begrijpen wij heel goed waarom het hier zo druk is. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en de service was uitstekend. Tot snel weer!

We konden gisteravond op het laatste moment nog een plekje reserveren, was echt top dat het kon, gezien de drukte. We hebben heerlijk gegeten, de kids hebben echt genoten van de pizza en de toetjes. Ik zelf had gegrilde zalm met groente en spaghetti naturel. Was ondanks de drukte echt gezellig en heerlijk gegeten.. Een geslaagde avond die we van te voren niet gepland hadden. Bedankt Bella Torino en tot gauw weer.

Food was incredibly tasty. Only the staff could be a little more friendly upon arrival and when serving. And then I'm talking about the slightly older males.

Mixed experiences. We have eaten here regularly. Recently (August 2024) I also picked up 2 pasta meals, including a Verdure Grigliate pasta. The vegetable had to be looked up with a magnifying glass. In the past, there were a lot of (and tasty) vegetables. So I have the feeling that the quality has deteriorated. I called about it but felt that I was not treated in a very customer-friendly manner. I just had to come back with the food to show it. I thanked you for that.

Definitely my favorite Italian. Pasta is really tasty and so is the meat. Pizza isn't really my thing so no judgment about that. Years ago I once indicated that I would like some flowers as a surprise for 7 years of dating. Upon arrival there was a bouquet of roses on the table with 7 white, 7 pink and 7 red roses. Simply fantastic. The nero davola (red wine) is also highly recommended!

Have eaten here several times and it has been delicious every time. The service is also great. Yesterday I had the Christmas menu, the fish, normally I only eat in a fish restaurant but I have to say that it was really delicious. Husband and children also had a nice meal.

A very nice experience. And we have noticed that it is consistent after about 6 visits. Food is delicious, quick service and friendly staff. The ambiance in the restaurant is pleasant, atmospheric and recognizable. Price-quality is more than sufficient. There is a weekly Pizza 🍕 offer for collectors. A chef's special menu every time. (If you ask nicely, you can sometimes deviate a little from it, in our experience 😉). And paying for it yourself seems like a lot of fun. If you come with your partner, you will receive a beautiful ROSE 🌹 "for your loved one" as standard. Everything has been thought of in this restaurant, which also attracts many visitors from outside Zoetermeer.

Ik was erg enthousiast binnengekomen doordat het restaurant súper gezellig is ingericht. Toen wij het voorgerecht al wisten, maar het hoofdgerecht nog niet, konden wij niet alvast al het voorgerecht bestellen en later het hoofdgerecht. We moesten het echt tegelijkertijd bestellen. Nog steeds vond ik het een leuke zaak. Als voorgerecht hadden wij Antipasti Misto Bella Torino, die wij samen deelden. De carpaccio was niet vers en de tonato ontbrak op de vitello. Toen wij nog niet klaar waren met het voorgerecht, kwam het hoofdgerecht al. Nog steeds vond ik het een leuke zaak. Maar na het hoofdgerecht dacht ik er echt anders over, jammer genoeg. De pasta was vooral erg zout en de pizza was ook écht niet lekker. Ik had de pizza vitello tonato. Het pizzadeeg was smaakloos, er zat plastic mozzarella alleen in het midden van de pizza en er zat absoluut geen lekkere verse tonijnsaus op de vitello. Het was gewoon echt vies. Dit is echt een belediging voor Italiaans eten. Wij zijn al vaak in Italië geweest en daar heb ik nog nooit een pizza gegeten die niet lekker is. Ik was zó teleurgesteld, omdat ik het zo'n gezellige zaak vind! Maar ja, hier komen wij helaas nooit meer terug.

I was very enthusiastic when I arrived because the restaurant was very nicely decorated. When we already knew the starter, but not the main course, we could not already order the starter and later the main course. We really had to order it at the same time. I still thought it was a nice thing. As a starter we had Antipasti Misto Bella Torino, which we shared. The carpaccio was not fresh and the tonato was missing on the vitello. When we had not yet finished the starter, the main course arrived. I still thought it was a nice thing. But after the main course I really thought differently about it, unfortunately. The pasta was especially salty and the pizza was really not tasty either. I had the pizza vitello tonato. The pizza dough was tasteless, there was plastic mozzarella only in the middle of the pizza and there was absolutely no tasty fresh tuna sauce on the vitello. It was just really dirty. This is really an insult to Italian food. We have been to Italy many times and I have never eaten a pizza there that was not tasty. I was so disappointed, because I think it's such a nice place! But yes, unfortunately we will never return here.

We were a group of 16 and we really did not feel welcome. No nice service or customer friendliness. We finally left because no one had been there to take the desserts at 9:40 PM. And throughout the evening we had to get someone every time to come and get drinks or food. And we were treated disrespectfully by a male employee. Downright scandalous

The problem is that you have to be patient, made an appointment to have lunch at 2:00 PM, arrived at 1:45 PM and still have to wait for your lunch at 3:00 PM.

Pasta Pollo Penne was bland and had little taste, I was disappointed and expected more.

It took a long time before they came to ask for something to eat or drink. And when you asked for a drink afterwards they said yes, I'll come but had to shout a few times, service less

Lekkers antipasti en pizza. Geen culinaire hoogstandjes maar dat hoeft ook niet. Ik kwam binnen (7 minuten te vroeg) en het eerste wat gezegd werd: "wat bent u vroeg". Niet echt een warm welkom. Hoe kan je als ober (ik denk de eigenaar??) zo onwijs sjachrijnig zijn. Tijdens het bestellen van het hoofdgerecht kwamen we erachter dat we toch liever ook een voorgerecht wilden; Met een dikke zucht en liever niet want dan moest hij weer alles opnieuw invoeren, heeft hij het dan toch maar gedaan. Hoe kan je zo onaardig zijn. Heb hem geen een keer zien lachen. Laatste keer dat ik hier was.
