After waiting 2 hours for my pizza, instead of the ordered pizza with tomato pesto and some other tasty toppings, I received a pizza with anchovies, capers, and black marbles (at least 100 pieces). My advice: order somewhere else.

The food was good! The atmosphere and service were excellent. We went out to eat with a large group, everything was perfectly on time, and we were served politely.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience at this restaurant. What surprised me most was that a man who we believed belonged to management wanted to offer alcohol to my 16-year-old niece. We found that very inappropriate. We were also absolutely not satisfied with the food. A dish that, according to the menu, was served with tomato sauce, clearly appeared to contain cream and/or cheese. The sauce was very light in color and did not look like pure tomato sauce at all. When we pointed this out, it was denied. It was said that the light color was due to the garlic and that this was their concept. However, no suitable solution was offered. It was even suggested that I should just swap the dish with my niece. Things went wrong again when settling the bill. An employee accidentally charged another customer, meaning I ended up paying for that customer. Instead of resolving this properly as a restaurant, the same gentleman lashed out at his staff and told me that I should just sort it out with the other customer myself via Tikkie. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Additionally, according to the menu, a drink cost €4.10. We had ordered two drinks, but ultimately, €1 more was charged than the price on the menu. Normally, I wouldn't immediately make a fuss about that, but I find €4.60 for a small bottle ridiculously expensive. Especially since this amount was charged in this way afterwards, without a clear explanation. Finally, the tiramisu was also very disappointing: incredibly dry and, in our experience, absolutely not fresh. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but it is mainly about how you handle them. The way our complaints, the price of the drinks, and the error at the checkout were handled made the experience particularly unpleasant for us. Unfortunately, we won't be going back a second time.

The restaurant looked unique inside, and that caught my attention. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was allowed to taste the wine first. They communicated honestly about the food. And the pasta was really delicious. My husband liked the pizza crust a little less, but the way the pizza was topped was very tasty. The atmosphere was calm, relaxed, and cozy.

Thuisbezorgd had communicated the delivery time incorrectly. It was resolved quickly and properly after just one phone call.

The host was very hospitable. He is very helpful if, for example, you want to share a dish, and he comes to ask several times if everything is to your liking. The rest of the staff was also very friendly. Additionally, you can keep looking around the restaurant because of all the flowers, lights, and the Italian atmosphere. But the most important thing, of course, is whether the food is tasty! Well, it certainly was! Especially the pizza stagioni. I thought the ham and salami on top were well distributed and it wasn't too greasy. In short, top-notch!

We ordered a seafood pizza, but in the end we received a plain pizza, with all the seafood that was supposed to be on the pizza placed separately on the side of the box. The pizza wasn’t even sliced, so it looked like we were supposed to tear off a piece of pizza and put the seafood on it ourselves with our hands. We also ordered a baguette with butter, but received separate bread rolls and the butter separately. It tasted fine, but honestly, why advertise one dish with a specific photo and then serve customers something completely different from what is shown? Overall, a terrible experience and very disappointing.

This is the best Italian restaurant in the whole area. Best pizza I have ever eaten. Friendly service and nice owner. We will be back soon. Highly recommended.

What a disappointment. We hadn't been here for a few years, but this place is nothing like it used to be. The Italian atmosphere is gone; there are no more Italians in the restaurant welcoming you kindly, but staff of other nationalities. We were given a very small table that was quite lopsided. Because of this... and also due to the blunt knives, a quarter of my pizza shot off my plate and slid off the table onto the floor. I had to clean it up myself, and nothing was offered in return. The pizza was tasty, and the pasta too, but there was far too little of it. Because of this, we ordered some extra bread. Zero percent beer is on the menu but cannot be served. I needed a magnifying glass for the ice cream sundae; it was only half-filled, and that for a maxi price. The prices are truly absurdly expensive compared to other pizzerias. No nice Italian music, the terrace is littered with dirty cigarette butts on the ground; what a disgrace. The bill was not presented, only a total amount was mentioned. I am really never coming back here again.

Eating pizza spontaneously turned out to be an expensive joke! The pizzas were sparsely topped, the salmon pasta was tasty! Our grandson (3) wanted plain pasta, so without sauce and meat; we had a herb butter sandwich beforehand! Everyone got 1 bottle of soda! I had to pay €39.70 for the soda, plain pasta, and the herb butter sandwich and was very shocked by it; this was almost as expensive as the whole deal! It comes down to €4.55 for a bottle of soda and don't be shocked €14.50 for half a plate of plain pasta... this is just absurd... I asked if this was okay and was allowed to look at the cash register, took a photo because I didn't get a receipt....🤔 So I will never come here again....

The menu states that the Carpaccio should contain pine nuts. This was not the case for me. However, there was a mix of different seeds on it. The pasta and pizza were okay. We reserved via the Fork app with a 50% discount. However, they say that this only applies if you spend at least 40 euros per person. And then you only get a discount on the main course. We could not meet this requirement, so we did not receive a discount. It cannot be found anywhere that this is a condition. Not during the reservation process or in the confirmation email we received.

I have eaten better pizzas. Very tough crust and mediocre toppings. The bread as a starter was also very mediocre.

We were here on the evening the World Cup final was supposed to be played. And we certainly felt it. At 9:00 PM, we were asked if we wanted to pay by card or cash, because the card machine was going to be shut down. Sorry, but you are open until 10:00 PM. If you want to close earlier for the football, make that known sooner; then we would have taken it into account. As it was, it was asked in such a blunt manner... The bread we ordered was also forgotten. It arrived together with the starter. When we asked if the main course could be brought a little later, it was not received kindly. The lasagna arrived later after we indicated, which was fine, but it was truly inedible. Very mealy. As if it had been in the oven for a long time. The tiramisu was nothing more than a cake with a dollop of whipped cream and a ladyfinger biscuit. In short, not tasty and certainly not worth repeating. Drinks were placed next to the same glass every time. No ice. Not recommended. Ambiance old-fashioned.

Top service and atmosphere! We had a lovely dinner on the evening of the World Cup final. It was nice and full and the atmosphere was great. Big compliments to the staff, who remained very friendly despite the hectic nature of the football. That wasn't easy with the guests next to us, though; one lady apparently thought the whole place revolved around her and took out her frustration about the football night on the waiter in a very unreasonable way. Fortunately, the waiter remained extremely professional. Our dishes arrived right on time and tasted perfect. Highly recommended; don't let yourself be put off by people who ruin their own evening!

A very good Italian restaurant. With temperatures of 38 degrees, it was actually closed. However, our reservation happened to coincide with closing time. They stayed open especially for us so we could eat. This was greatly appreciated. Another couple was also allowed to have a quick bite to eat. A very relaxed atmosphere, delicious food, and beautifully presented plates.

I don't understand where the good reviews come from. What a terrible place, the food is inedible. Tasteless, watery, and unlike anything else; even the baguette was tough/stale. Even the cherries on the dessert were old and shriveled. The dessert pancake wasn't freshly made either and was tough on the bottom. The restaurant is very old-fashioned, and the service doesn't make you feel very welcome either. They aren't even Italian. Once is enough, never again!

We ate here on Sunday evening, just the two of us. Only 6 customers present in total. We ordered a pizza with carpaccio. The pizzas arrived within a few minutes. This pizza was cold. We reported it. It could go back into the oven for a bit, but then the carpaccio would discolour. Okay, so be it, because cold pizza really isn't tasty. The pizza was back within 1 minute. Colourless, smothered in oil, but now warm pizza. And we paid €22.00 for that! Also a glass of white wine €5.95 per glass. No, this way this is their downfall. Italian food used to be affordable... We are NEVER coming here again. My partner's pizza was also shapeless, with ham piled on like a mess. Unpresentable! Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos ☹️

We had planned to eat at another restaurant, but unfortunately, that was not possible. We decided to see if there was a spot for the two of us at Ristorante Romagna and were received very warmly and served nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed the pizza, and the dough tasted delicious. Crispy and not too hard. In terms of atmosphere, we found it very cozy. The fake trees and colored lights are definitely our thing.

Truly the worst we have ever eaten. My husband and I decided to order, and everything looked amazing on the page; the photos were good and the prices were a bit high, but because we saw the photos, we thought it was worth it. I ordered the seafood pasta, which contained almost no seafood at all. The photos showed large prawns, but in reality, there were only cocktail prawns in it... My husband ordered the carpaccio and the tiramisu. The carpaccio was just lettuce; in reality, there were a few pieces of meat, and it is truly too bizarre for words. The tiramisu was so dry that it looked just like a mouthful of sand. We would have been better off setting 60 euros on fire; I would have gotten more out of it.

We had a delicious meal here with a party of four. We tried both types of ravioli and they were very tasty. Excellent service! Good value for money. The place is nicely decorated with many artificial flowers and plants.

We ate a delicious pizza on a slightly quieter evening. The pizza crust was crispy to perfection. An extra request for an extra spicy version was certainly granted. Our waiter/host was truly service-oriented and we really wanted for nothing. I can highly recommend this place.

We ate here via Social Deal. A 3-course menu: starter, main course, and dessert. You get a separate menu for dessert, and the main courses sometimes come with an extra charge. The restaurant is full of plants and flowers. Very busy. The drinks were very pricey for a pizzeria in Zoetermeer. Cola was 4.10 on the menu, Ice tea 4.50, and a large bottle of water 6.95. A liter of house red wine was 26.95. After 45 minutes, the waiter came by again and asked if we had already had our food. It turned out they had lost our receipt. We had to order again. We ordered carpaccio and the shrimp in Brandy sauce. The carpaccio was okay. The shrimp were a bit dry, but thanks to the sauce—which was a strange combination—it was still acceptable. The pizzas, carpaccio and arugula, were tasty. A bit dry. The pasta, a dough dish from the oven, looked like leftovers. Multiple pastas with cheese sauce. The salmon ravioli was edible, but drenched in sauce. For dessert, the Dame Blanche and tiramisu. Besides being a very small scoop, the vanilla ice cream in the Dame Blanche had apparently thawed once. The chunks of ice crunched between your teeth. We left the tiramisu untouched; it lacked flavor. The biggest surprise was yet to come. The prices for the drinks on the receipt were different from those on the menu. The cola was 4.55 instead of 4.10, the iced tea 4.75 instead of 4.50, and the large bottle of water 7.95 instead of 6.95. There was also a large bottle of water listed on the menu. This was Spa Blue, 50cl. In short, in hindsight, very pricey for what you get.

We ate pizzas; nothing special, just good pizzas. But it was the dessert that took a hard hit. Homemade tiramisu for 12 euros and a pancake with vanilla ice cream and Grand Marnier for 11 euros. Okay, quite pricey, but you expect something in return. The tiramisu was just stacked ladyfingers with some coffee/alcohol-like liquid. Virtually no mascarpone, truly almost nothing. Never seen anything like it. The pancake was folded around a lump of ice cream with a small glass of Grand Marnier next to it. It was so bad it was almost laughable. The staff is nice, that’s not the issue. Will we ever go back? Maybe if we want a fairly cheap, good pizza, but otherwise, this is nothing.

A true gem for Italian lovers. We ordered the Funghi trifolati and Gamberetti in salsa di brandy and then moved on to the Pasta Salmone and Ravioli—everything cooked to perfection. We are never coming back here. Italians would be mortified. Sorry! The pasta with four cheese sauce was tasteless and swimming in sauce. But then came the absolute low point: the cheese board listed on the dessert menu. And I got a small plate of grated cheese, seriously? The absolute low point was definitely the Parmesan powder in the middle and a little fork to go with it; it is actually too funny and truly remarkable that anyone would dare to serve this at all. We had something to celebrate and decided to dine at Pizzeria Romagno for the first time on January 2nd. Unfortunately, it turned out to be an (expensive) disappointment. The atmosphere and service were excellent. However, the carpaccio consisted of far too thinly sliced ​​and too little (15 grams) of tenderloin (?), with a lot of lettuce, no seeds, and truffle mayo, a little dressing, and a few shreds of cheese. We make better at home. The shrimp were in brandy sauce, unusual and not traditional. We both ordered tenderloin as a main course, one medium and the other rare. Both were rare. The chef remedied this by cutting one in half, but this wasn't a genuine tenderloin! You had to "saw" it instead of the knife, as it were, through the butter, and it also involved a lot of chewing, including the tendon. The chef should have used a different supplier. And, of course, they were supposed to use the same cutlery for both the shrimp and the meat. Well, not quite, but just the thought alone is enough. We paid €130 for two people. A good pizzeria perhaps, but certainly not a fine dining restaurant. A shame, because you can eat excellently in Italy.

We dined here with a group of 12. Upon arrival, we were initially seated at two separate tables, but after some persuasion, we were thankfully allowed to push the tables together so we could all sit together. We ordered pizza, risotto, and pasta. The pizzas were excellent and highly recommended. However, the pasta carbonara lacked flavor, and the risotto was completely overcooked, making it more like a mush and also tasteless. We also had to ask for several glasses with our drinks, and not all our drinks were served cold. That was a drawback. Romagna clearly feels more like a pizzeria than a full-fledged Italian restaurant. My advice: come here for the pizzas, but skip the rest at those prices.

Update 22/11/2025: I've been to the restaurant here now, and the pizza was easier to eat, less chewy and chewy. It also had more flavor and was better. The lasagna was just a mushy, watery lasagna, okay and tasty, but not great in my opinion. Still overpriced for what you get. The service is friendly and excellent. 27/10/2025: Well, I thought this was one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten, definitely in the top 3 of the worst. Too bad, I was craving a good pizza but got a dry mess. And that for a pretty expensive pizza... No, you won't see me here again.

After reading the reviews from guests who booked through TheFork, I strongly advise against dining here. It's likely that only the same people who have never vacationed in Italy come here.

Disappointing experience due to misleading discount terms We had booked through The Fork with a 50% discount deal on food (not drinks). However, upon arrival, we discovered that the discount only applied to the main course and that a minimum spend of €40 per person was required to receive the discount. This wasn't clearly stated in the reservation. There were six of us, three of whom were well over €40—but even they didn't receive a discount because not everyone met the €40 budget. This feels like a misleading arrangement, especially compared to other restaurants that are transparent and customer-friendly with their discount promotions. The food was fine, but the experience was overshadowed by the feeling that there was deliberate use of fine print and unclear terms. It's a shame, because this doesn't make us want to return. There are plenty of other restaurants that are honest about their deals.

Nice, cozy place, friendly staff, but the food was terrible. The starter was dry, and the shrimp were okay but meager. The main course, one tenderloin, was too raw and the other almost burnt. We were hoping for dessert, but the ice cream had chunks in it and very little sauce, and the tiramisu was watery. After our starter, we also had to wait over an hour and fifteen minutes for our main course. We've honestly never had such a bad meal.

Less than one star is unfortunately not possible. We had very bad experience with the owner. We booked via TheFork, there was summer offer of 50% discount. While ordering, the owner said the final bill needs to be more than EUR 160 to get 50% discount. We politely said that we can not eat this much food therefore we are okay without discount. While eating food the owner disturbed us many times to cancel The Fork booking probably because he is thought that we will complain to TheFork about discount. We did not like the constant badgering and left after the main course. While paying the bill, first the owner said he will charge us minimum EUR 160 bill and then was angry at us for not cancelling the booking and threatened to ban us from restaurant. It was very insulting and not the way to deal with customers. Never going back again.
