I'm rrally sorry to see that you have decided to close, I hope you will see this post that may change your perspective on the matter. While I consider Pof to be great place in the summer, in winter it's different story. We were visiting few times in the winter and had to leave after 1h or so simply bacause it was too cold inside. Fix your heating, put few chicken and fish dishes on the menu, and you will be full all year long

Super nice restaurant, lots of good quality veggies prepared with a lot of love and care. Options for all. We were a mix company of vegan, vegetarian, and paleo eaters and we were all accomodated. We had a great evening, service was great and the atmosphere is cosy and calm enough so you can actually have a conversation. We'll definitely be back! And highly recommend.

We had our family reunion here and were given a cozy dining and lounge area for our group. Fantastic service from start to finish: secco, delicious drinks platters, special and tasty drinks, excellent menu, and friendly and helpful staff! A nice playroom and a great nature playground for the small children. Excellent value for money. Recommended!!

On this sunny Saturday we are now enjoying a delicious dessert. Everything is good here. The flavors, surprise menu, the staff, the terrace with the lights that are just now coming on. What a place. We feel like fools.

The idyllic restaurant "Pof" is located in the far corner of Amsterdam North, at the beginning of the Coen tunnel. You can enjoy the lowest rays of sunshine between the organic gardens. In addition to good food, you can also enjoy special beers in this restaurant. Music is of paramount importance.

A beautiful restaurant with a big outside terras and friendly staff. The whole area is green and there is a major nature playground for kids around the corner. I enjoyed breakfast; a bowl of poffertjes and a lovely puffy croissant + iced coffee. Great taste for a great price!

A bit messy, but if that doesn't bother you, it's a place with a soul. Service is above average; they really pay attention and are friendly! There is a children's room, which is really nice.

Please, avoid all the fake reviews. If you go for lunch, there are literally 3 simple sandwiches, 1 salad, 1 soup. Ok vibe but as a restaurant it’s more of an idea than a reality. Avoid for food, ok for drinks.

Pof not only has a great concept, everything served on the table comes from the immediate area, including a super kitchen!! I bet if you throw a cardboard box in there they'll make something tasty out of it too. Great food!!

I've been here with all my colleagues. Everything was well taken care of. They cook with products from the region. You can't get meat here which is not my preference for a BBQ. It is almost impossible to find it with Google, but this makes it a truly unique place.

Great place located in quiet surroundings. There is a playroom for kids and indoor and outdoor sitting possibilities. The staff is friendly and welcoming. On the minus side, prices seem a bit high. A small American coffee for 3 euros is too steep, especially because the beans are not grown in their garden.

The menu for 2:00 PM was unfortunately too limited for us. Chose the poffertjes, they were delicious!! Furthermore, we left immediately after the poffertjes were finished, there was a very unpleasant smell. I still hesitated about addressing this to the employee in question, but unfortunately I didn't.

We ended up here by chance and what a positive experience. Delicious fresh food, beautifully prepared. Extra thanks for the super friendly service from Jip (girl with the cap)

The food was outrageous and bizarre. Some ingredients I knew, others were foreign to me. Recommend highly, for sure. I personally ate 5 courses and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Personal favorite use of radish I've experienced.

Pof truly is a hidden gem in Amsterdam. With all local products with great taste, personnel that believes in the concept and an amazing atmosphere, we had a great experience with our team.

A really super authentic place.

A great place to relax. The food, a daily menu of 3,4 or 5 courses, comes from the surrounding vegetable garden. Very surprising and deliciously made. Mostly vegetarian, but also possibility of meat surplus. That also comes from our own farm and is also excellent. A real discovery (for us at least), something to visit regularly.

Eating at Pof is highly recommended! The five-course dinner was delicious, the employees were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. I also think it is a great added value that they cook seasonally. And how nice is it to be surprised?

Always a nice place to come back to. The food is always surprisingly tasty, really better than you expect from the ambiance. One of the better restaurants in Amsterdam North and the kids can also play.

We went there due to good reviews and friends advice but to us the food wasn’t anything special, the main course was totally tasteless but what was worse was the waiting time we had fine dining dinner in Michelen starred restaurant that took less time when we asked to have the food fast. I would leave one star but the waiter who served us was very nice, he was sorry that we waited so long(more than 3 hours) to have 4 dish of vegetables and a dessert ( ice cream and cake). I think the owner should hire more professionals people to work in the kitchen because they are 5 or 6 people and couldn’t serve on time one set menu made of few very easy dishes mostly prepped in advance ( like the soup and the sauces) I’m a chef and watching this people working in such unorganized way made me furious. For the dessert made of a scoop of ice cream, a slice of cake and some marinated fruit we waited 30 minutes after we said we were in a hurry coz we had two small children, arrived at 18:10 and left at 21:40. While we were waiting saw many kitchen staff chatting to each other and watching their phone so unprofessional. The restaurant wasn’t even full and everyone was eating the same set menu, nothing special or hard to make. So infuriating

My child enjoyed her time in the playroom and the playground outside. The food was very delicious . We tried almost everything on the menu, it was nice to try something different from local tourist traps! The apple tart was ❤️! Wine was good, beer was lovely. It came from the brewery under the restaurant! We loved the whole concept of the restaurant! The pork meatballs was so good too!

Tasted wonderful flavors in a cozy natural ambiance, in greenery with many happy animals in the area; purely healthy and creatively laid out plates. We go there more often to really pamper your taste buds away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam😋

What delicious flavors at Pof! The restaurant is located in a remote corner of Amsterdam North on the Melkweg site. There are a few sports clubs there, Noordoogst with its Extraordinary Pigs, Friekens Brouwerij and Pof, where as much vegetarian and vegan cooking is possible (although a pork sausage is an option on the menu). We both had a 5 course menu (37 euros without sausage, with Extraordinary pork sausage +4.50 euros). A delicious asparagus soup, well flavoured. Bowl of bread with tasty dip, a carafe of water (on the receipt for 2.50 euros, but it said it was free). The second course is thin slices of celeriac with goat cheese shavings and nuts and a delicious sauce. The third course is barbecued carrots with a sauce that is slightly less pronounced in taste. The fourth course is the main course with cauliflower from the BBQ and a salad with another nice sauce. The cauliflower was well cooked with a few pieces a little too black, but I didn't find it disturbing. The fries were a bit too salty, I mentioned this to the host who took it as positive feedback. In any case, the service is very attentive. They really take the time for you and are quickly at your table if you have any questions. The fifth course is a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a delicious rhubarb sauce and crumble. The children had a children's dish (7.50 euros) which was a bit meager in terms of quantity. The waiter anticipated this well by adding an extra plate of carrots from the oven. The poffertjes (and two ice creams) are also delicious. It is very thoughtful that they removed these two desserts from the bill due to a few feedback points from us (sauces and fries a bit too salty and children's dishes a bit sparse). All in all, a very nice experience at Pof with great flavors (especially the sauces), they know how to use vegetables very creatively.

A good place to have a bite to eat. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice collection of wines and beers. Unfortunately, the composition of the menu did not suit us as well at that time.

Stopped for a spot of late lunch on our way back from  Zaanse Schans. Just missed the window for brunch so had soup of the day and a platter. Not expecting much, the carrot soup was the best soup I have had. Matched with fresh bread and herb butter it was amazing. The plater was great as well with cuts of meat from local sources. Staff was super friendly. Note that the locals stol by for lunch or coffee with small children so it is not quiet in the afternoon 😄

Celebrated a very successful birthday at Pof with a beautifully balanced 5-course dinner. For each his own. The cauliflower pancakes with the drinks beforehand were really extraordinarily delicious! The staff are easy going and friendly and the atmosphere cozy. In my opinion, Pof is truly a hidden gem in Amsterdam North. The wines are also very tasty and match the menu.

We celebrated our neighbor's birthday with dinner at Pof, it was a wonderful experience. The location is a bit further out of the city, but the atmosphere and surroundings are exceptional, even for children.

Relaxed place with good food and drinks. No pretensions, just a nice space with attention for people and the planet. Very pleasant

Very special environment (old football canteen) where sparse beer and bitterballen have made way for a surprisingly tasty dining concept, and healthy and affordable too!

Heel fijne plek aan de rafelrand van Amsterdam. Het voormalige sportpark Melkweg bestaat nu uit een verzameling bedrijfjes en ondernemers die duurzaam produceren. Pof is in de oude voetbalkantine gevestigd met uitzicht over de groentetuin, de wijnstokken en de kippen en varkens. Het eten én drinken is heerlijk en met aandacht en liefde gemaakt. Alles komt uit Nederland (behalve de koffie🙂) dus geen cola en gemberthee maar wel heerlijke limonades, sapjes, bier uit de buurt, wijn (Limburg dacht ik). Het eten is nagenoeg vegetarisch, er zijn 1 of 2 vlees gerechtjes van de varkens op het terrein. De shared dining gerechten zijn erg lekker, heerlijk op smaak met kruiden uit de tuin en verrassend divers bereid wat nieuwe smaken oplevert en de verschillende groentes doet shinen! Toetjes en taart ook te lekker, kortom heel fijn.

Verrassend vrolijk restaurant aan de rand van Amsterdam Noord midden in min of meer grote moestuin en stadsboerderij.

Wat een lekkere lunch hebben we hier gehad. Broodje met gegrilde groenten was een 10. Ook de taartjes daarna waren de top: absolute aanrader.

Een heerlijke lunch gehad op deze prachtige, unieke locatie. Super vriendelijke bediening en het eten was super smaakvol! POF is zeker een aanrader en wij komen zeker nog eens terug.

Een plek waar je welkom voelt door het zeer vriendelijke en vrolijke personeel en daarbij opgeteld het concept van delen en erg lekker eten dat vooral vegetarisch is. Alles zelf gemaakt met producten uit eigen tuin. Een plek om verliefd op te worden

I had a great experience at this place, lots of delicious dishes and the service was super nice and helpful. Almost everything is produced there and the rest is from the region, hopefully more places like that one pop up more.

Dit is echt mijn favoriete plekje in Amsterdam, een hidden gem! Met natuur, diertjes, moestuin… maar bovenal fijne service, overheerlijke eten en super lekkere frisse drankjes! Zo een plekje waar jouw gezelschap van alle leeftijden het uren naar zijn zin heeft en de tijd vergeet.. geniet!

Das beste am Restaurant ist der Kellner. Die Portionen sind sehr klein und sehr hochpreisig, die Auswahl nicht groß. Die Spinnweben an der Decke und das Haar im Essen hat leider sein übriges getan.

Op 2 augustus mijn verjaardag gevierd met een brunch bij Pof en het was echt HEERLIJK 😍. Het zag er allemaal prachtig uit, was supervers en enorm smaakvol! Daarnaast heel sfeervol, erg vriendelijk personeel en we kregen zelfs het eten mee wat we niet meer op kregen. Echt een fijne plek om lekker te eten.

Op een vrijdag met 5 personen heerlijk gegeten bij Pof. Personeel was erg aardig en goed, eten uitstekend en sfeer en omgeving gezellig. We komen zeker nog eens terug. Aanrader.

Super leuke lokatie om een hapje te eten en wat te drinken. Onze hond kon gewoon mee en voor kinderen is er een natuur speeltuin waar ze zich kunnen vermaken. Producten zijn van eigen bodem!
